Donald Trump’s daughter and son-in-law, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, made up to $640 million during his presidency, report finds

When former president Donald Trump announced he would be running for a president of the United States four years ago, both he and his family claimed how he had the wholehearted support of his children. They were and still are by his side and work closely with him.

When he did become the president, his daughter Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner took the role of his advisors in the White House despite being accused of nepotism.

They announced they wouldn’t be receiving salary or making any money.

However, according to financial disclosures analyzed by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), the Trump-Kushner couple made between $172 million and $640 million during Donald Tump’s presidency. The couple claimed this was an outside income, not related to their job as advisors whatsoever.

The Independent also reported huge numbers of income, despite both Ivanka and her husband announcing they were stepping away from their daily operations in their companies when they entered the White House.

CREW said that Trump’s daughter and son-in-law “likely made hundreds of millions of dollars from questionable sources. All that was waived off by the same nepotism that got them their jobs.”

According to the same report, most of Ivanka’s income comes from her stake in the Trump Hotel in DC, around $13 million since 2017.

However, in the past, she claimed her stake was worth between $5 and $25 million, and then it was reported it decreased to $100,000-$250,000. She, though, had at least 28 foreign trademarks approved for her during the four years her father served as the president of the country.

“Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump should never have been allowed to work in the White House. The Department of Justice reversed decades of precedent to grant President Trump’s wish to have his children work in the White House. While taking on enormous responsibilities that they were unqualified to carry out, and debasing their positions with constant ethics scandals,” the report further stated.

Girl, 15, says “she’s forced to leave like a peasant” after mom cuts her allowance from $5,000 to $1,000

“Dr. Phil,” the talk show we all love so much, and the host, Dr. Phil himself, cover a variety of topics from the everyday of many families. They discuss and resolve issues around parents-children relationships, dysfunctional families, financial planning, weight loss, and way beyond this.

I’m sure you remember Danielle Bregoli, then 13-year-old girl who had a violent relationship with her mother. Her famous phrase she said during Dr. Phil’s show “Cash me ousside, howbow dah?” was soon turned into a meme and she became sort of a celebrity. It helped her launch a career in the music industry.

This time, another girl that was guest at the show is stealing people’s attention, and again, all for the “wrong” reasons.

Nicolette Gray, 15-year-old girl from California, is mad at her mom for reducing her $5,000 a month allowance to “just” $1,000, forcing her “to live like a peasant.”

Nicolette enjoyed a lavish lifestyle and spent huge amounts of money on designer clothes and handbags. What’s most, she proudly calls herself a “brat” and wan’t her old life back. Apparently, $1,000 a month is way too low for her to be able to allow all her whims.

Her mom, Nina Gray, says how her daughter can’t control her spending and has already piled up massive credit card bills.

Despite reducing her allowance, Nina also invited a family friend named Joel to live with them and keep an eye on how much Nicolette spends.

Nicolette tried to make the audience feel sorry for her as she complained how she needs $2,500 just to cover her “basic” needs and she’s now always short on money.

Nina, however, believes she had to do something in order to stop her girl from becoming spoiled and bratty. Sorry to say this, but we believe she’s spoiled rotten already.

Nina says how she knows it was her fault that her daughter acquired that kind of behavior as she has been exposed to a lot of money and credit cards ever since she was very little.

Over time, Nina couldn’t control Nicolette as she always threatens to make her mom’s life a living hell unless she gives her the money she needs to spend on luxuries.

Dr. Phil advised Nina to not let Nicolette’s threats and tears make her give more money. Instead, she should try to bond with her on an emotional level and teach her of the right values in life.

Ivana Trump, Donald Trump’s first wife, takes all the “credit” for raising their children

When she first arrived in New York City from Canada where she lived for a while, Donald Trump’s first wife and mother of three of his children, met the mogul at a restaurant and it was the start of their relationship and the 14 years of marriage which ended with a bitter divorce.

Ivana was born on February 20, 1949 in Gottwaldov, today’s Zlin, Czechoslovakia, today’s Czech Republic.

As a child, she had it all. Her father Milos was very strict, but he taught his daughter to be disciplined. Ivana was very good at athletics and learned how to ski when she was around three years old. Some of her former classmates describe her as a very bright and intelligent woman who excelled at school.

Her beauty helped her get into the modeling industry and work with some of the most famous names in the world of fashion at the time after finding her way out of Communist-controlled Czechoslovakia.

Once in Canada, Ivana met and later married Austrian skier Alfred Winklmayr. The two stayed together for two years, and then in 1976, Ivana went to New York at a fashion show and that’s when her love story with the former president Trump began.

In her memoir, Ivana wrote how she and some friends were at Maxwell’s Plum, described by a 1988 The New York Times article as “a flamboyant restaurant and singles bar that, more than any place of its kind, symbolized two social revolutions of the 1960s – sex and food.”

Getting a table there wasn’t easy, and as Ivana was waiting, this tall man with blue eyes tapped her on the shoulder, introduced himself as Donald Trump, and told her he will arrange a table for her. “I look at my friends and said, ‘The good news is, we’re going to get a table real fast. The bad news is, this guy is going to be sitting with us,’” she said in an interview with the NY Post.

After the dinner, Donald paid the bill and left the place. Once she was out, Ivana noticed him waiting for her in his limousine, and that’s how they started dating. At the time, Donald was the richest and most influential mogul who had just inherited his father’s empire and business.

Shortly after, Donald and Ivana tied the knot. First, their son Donald Trump Jr.was born, and then they welcomed their daughter Ivanka and son Eric.

After 14 years of marriage, the two divorced, and at the time, all eyes were on them. Ivana received $25 million and custody over her kids. Speaking of Donald, she always praised him of being the father every child could ask for. Although strict and unconventional, Donald was devoted and his children love him and support him.

“Donald might not have been the greatest husband to me, but he was a good father to the kids,” Ivana wrote. “Obviously, they adore him and are fiercely loyal to him. If he were a horrible dad, that would not be the case. If Donald wants to write a book about fatherhood, I would be happy to read it.”

Ivana took care of her kids, but she was also very successful as the CEO of two of Trump’s hotels.

“I believe the credit for raising such great kids belongs to me. I was in charge of raising our children before our divorce, and I had sole custody of them after the split,” she wrote in her memoir Raising Trump. “When each one finished college, I said to my ex-husband, “Here is the finished product. Now it’s your turn.”

After Donald, Ivana was married twice. Both times with men younger than her.

Speaking to Oprah in 2013, she said: “Younger guy gives you a little bit of the edge because it’s just more of the energy, which I definitely need. They have a hard time to keep up that’s for sure.”

However, both her marriages lasted quite shortly, for about two years. Her now ex-husband Riccardo Mazzucchelli said that Donald was to blame for his break up with Ivana. Donald, at the time, claimed she was still in love with him.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez criticized for “exaggerating” the threat of Capitol rioters after she opens up about surviving the trauma

The Capitol riots which took place on 6 January, 2021 showed the world the flaws in the system of one of the greatest countries, the U.S.A.

Many judged the rioters as they saw them climbing walls, breaking doors, and destroying the government’s property. But it was the lawmakers who were inside the building at the time that feared for their lives the most. Among them was Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who spoke openly of the harrowing experience. Being a survivor of sexual assault, going through the ordeal caused by the rioters triggered fear at her.

Ocasio-Cortez heard someone yelling “Where is she?” while she was hiding inside the bathroom of her inner office. In an Instagram Live, she said how she feared she would be taken as a hostage, knowing many of the rioters were carrying zip-tie handcuffs, or even die. According to USA Today, Ocasio-Cortez said: “[It] almost felt like a zombie movie or something.”

“I thought I was going to die. This is the moment where I thought, ‘Everything is over,'” she said of the moment when a man, who happened to be a Capitol Police Officer, was looking for her “with a tremendous amount of anger and hostility.”

Ocasio-Cortez gathered the courage to speak up and people listened, but not everyone understood. Instead of words of compassion, many criticized her speech claiming she was looking for attention and saying she was exaggerating. One of those people was Rep. Nancy Mace who tweeted: “My office is 2 doors down. Insurrectionists never stormed our hallway.”

Conservative journalist Jack Posobiec shared a map of the Capitol complex on Twitter trying to represent Ocasio-Cortez as a liar.

“These claims from Ocasio-Cortez critics leave out key context. First, the Cannon building is connected to the Capitol via an underground walkway that is frequently used by legislators, aides, journalists and others; the Cannon building is considered part of the Capitol complex. Second, Ocasio-Cortez did not mislead about where she was during the insurrection; she explicitly explained on Instagram Live that her office is in a building near the Capitol,” read CNN Edition.

Capitol Police were instructed to evacuate people from the Cannon building.

Ocasio-Cortez further said that the attacks against her were just an attempt by the Republicans “to avoid accountability for inciting a deadly riot that killed five people, including a police officer, and attempted to overthrow a democratic election.”
