Doctor told Pamela Anderson ‘you only have 10 years to live’, after virus infection diagnosis

Being beautiful beyond words and conquering the world of modeling and film, Pamela Anderson seemed to have it all, yet her private life has been quite tumultuous over the years.

Her road to stardom started in what many would dub a serendipitous way. She attended a British Columbia Lions Football game when she was accidentally featured on the screen while wearing a Labatt’s Beer T-shirt. It didn’t take long before the brewing company hired her briefly as a spokesmodel.

Commercials followed and she soon turned into a famous name in her native Canada. Anderson was eager to conquer the States and pursue a modeling career, and not only she became an icon in the modeling industry, but she still holds the record of gracing the most Playboy covers ever.

In 1991, she made her debut in the TV series Home Improvement which later helped her land the part of a lifetime as C.J Parker on Baywatch.

“I loved the series Baywatch. It was organic and we all really loved the beach and loved working on the show,” Anderson told Hello Magazine.

“So many memories. I brought my dog to work every day. We all would have been on the beach anyway, so getting paid for it was a bonus.”

As her career took off, Anderson got involved in an on-again, off-again relationship with Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee. The two tied the knot in 1995, shortly after meeting for the first time. Things between them, however, were troublesome, although they had two sons together, Brandon Thomas Lee, who is now an actor, and Dylan Jagger Lee, who followed into his dad’s footsteps and pursued career in music.

In 1998, she accused Lee of beating her and he spent four months in prison. Eight years after divorcing Lee, Anderson got married to Kid Rock, but they split in 2007, a year before she and Lee got back together. This time, it didn’t work either so they called it quits in 2010.

In the meantime, while battling a harsh custody battle with her ex, Anderson was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, “a serious [liver] disease that can result in long-term health problems, even death.”

She claimed she contracted the disease from Lee when sharing a tattoo needle and accused him of not telling her he was sick during their marriage.

“They said I would die in 10 years,” Anderson told ABC. “When someone tells you something like that you kind of act differently subconsciously.”

She, however, beat the odds and was cured back in 2015 after living with the infection for 15 years. “I feel like I got back 20 years back of my life,” Anderson said.

Anderson went on to marry Rick Salomon, twice, John Peters, allegedly, and Dan Hayhurst, with whom she untied the knot this year.

Today, Anderson is running a foundation, the Pamela Anderson Foundation, which supports organizations and individuals that stand on the front lines in the protection of human, animal, and environmental rights, as per its website.

In 2020, Anderson teamed up with Vancouver Island’s plant-based protein producer, The Very Good Food Company, to raise awareness around plant-based diets and animal rights.

“It is a thrill to have my Foundation associated with a butcher: a 21st-century butcher who uses technology to create plant foods that help animals, human health, and our planet,” Anderson said.

“I call it romantic activism. Combining businesses that are sexy and compassionate.”

Being 55, Pamela Anderson looks absolutely gorgeous. One thing about her is certain, that she ages gracefully.

Parents turn off life support for 15-month-old daughter days after she went to bed ‘happy and healthy’

Tara Lyons and Daniel O’Sullivan of Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England, were over the moon when their baby girl Sofia was welcomed into the world. Having a son already, their family seemed complete with Sofia’s arrival.

The little girl reached all the milestones and was a happy and healthy baby. Or at least they thought so.

When she reached a year old, Sofia was already able to express her bubbly personality. She enjoyed watching Moana and would laugh with her favorite characters while she made silly faces to the rest of them.

Her mom said “Even though some people don’t think they have personalities at that age, she really did – she was so funny and cheeky and sassy.”

When she turned a year and a half, Sofia could already crawl, then walk, and she could even utter many words. Simply put, she made her family’s world a better place.

Little Sofia even had her own room with grey mountains painted on the walls, a pile of books, and a stack of pink and leopard print cushions and blankets. She was loved and adored by everyone who has ever met her.

One day, Sofia seemed to be acting a bit odd. She didn’t want her toast and she could barely open her eyes. It appeared she had a cold as she had the sniffs. Sensing that something could be wrong, her parents took her to the hospital where doctors ran a bunch of tests.

Unfortunately, Tara and Daniel received some heart-shattering news. Sofia was diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), a rare brain condition characterized by an abnormal connection between the arteries and veins, disrupting blood circulation.

Before that particular moment, Sofia seemed perfectly fine. Nothing about her health or behavior spoke trouble, so they never assumed she could be sick.

Doctors did all in their power to help her, but to no avail. Just six days after she was admitted to the Great Osmond Street Hospital in London, Sofia’s life support was switched off.

“All I could hear as I held Sofia was Frozen’s Let it Go in the background and I’m not sure what it was, but I looked at Dan and we knew it was time. It broke my heart,” Tara said.

Now that their beautiful angel was gone forever, devastated Tara and Daniel needed to gather strength to share the tragic news with their son Leo. How could they tell him that his little sister passed away?

“I walked in to the hospital with my one and a half year old, and left with a box of memories,” heartbroken Tara said.

In order to honor her daughter’s short but meaningful life, Tara contacted Bloodhound Books, where she worked as a publisher. She truly wanted to do something meaningful, and they agreed to step in, so the book titled Written in the Stars that got published on what supposed to be Sofia’s third birthday had a beautiful cover honoring the beautiful girl’s life.

“The cover of the book has a little girl reaching for the stars and it looks like Sofia, in such a gentle and sweet way that was just like her.”

This mother wants her daughter to be remembered as a beautiful, Moana-loving girl who made their lives a bit brighter.

Rest in peace, little angel.

‘They are not going to let me go’: Georgia woman found dead after sending daughter a chilling message

Missing Athens, Georgia, woman named Debbie Collier has been found dead after she sent money and a chilling text message to her daughter.

“They are not going to let me go, love you,” the message reportedly read after her daughter received $2,385 from her mother via Venmo.

The police report on the search of Debbie reveals new details on the discovery of her body, which was reportedly found naked and burnt on the side of a road around 60 miles north of her home.

A wrecker service took the car to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.

According to her daughter, Debbie left her home with only her driver’s license and a debit card, in a rented SUV which was found unlocked and empty when the search of the woods around the highway began. After officers found “what appeared to be the remains of a fire,” they then discovered a “partially burnt” tarp, before discovering Debbie’s body.

The vehicle was tracked down thanks to the in-built SiriusXM satellite radio.

Currently, the police are handling the case as a homicide, which may be a result of kidnapping, according to the missing person’s report filed by Debbie’s daughter, Amanda Bearden.

Local WXIA-TV reports Debbie was the front office manager for years at Carriage House Realty. She was described as a loving and caring person. According to Amanda, her mother never experienced any mental issues nor ever showed any suicidal tendencies. On the contrary, she was a perfectly healthy individual.

Before her disappearance, Debbie was seen entering a Family Dollar a few miles away the crime scene, as confirmed by FOX News, on September 11, the day she was reported missing.

Speaking with CBS46 on Wednesday, Amanda said, “My mom was my everything. Somebody took my whole world from me.” She described her late mother as a “beautiful, kind, giving woman” who “didn’t deserve any of it.”

So far, no arrests have been made.

This is the amazing tale of Amanda, an animal lover who stunned everyone with a gesture

We know all to well dogs would go above and beyond for their humans, but many times, humans go an extra mile for their furry friends as well.

Amanda and Dylan, two animal lovers, heard of a dog that was likely abandoned in the mountains of Evan’s Creek.

Without hesitating even a bit, the two headed to the place where the dog named Bear was believed to be residing. What they had on their mind was to take him with them and offer him a chance to start his life over. But, no matter how great that sounded, putting their plan into action wasn’t that easy.

Bear was scared of humans and wouldn’t let anyone approach closer. So after many failed attempts to get near him, Amanda came with a plan B.

Namely, she told Dylan how the two would go to the woods the next day and she would lay on the ground pretending to be dead. Knowing dogs’ friendly nature, she was certain Bear would approach her himself to check whether she needs help.

Amazingly, some time later, Bear did get close and started sniffing Amanda. He spent some time around her and then headed back among the trees.

Amanda didn’t give up. She knew Bear would soon come back to her, and that’s exactly what happened. After an hour later, Bear approached again, but this time he wasn’t planning on leaving Amanda’s side.

She gained his trust, and it was the beginning of Bear’s new life.

In the next moment, Amanda, Dylan, and Bear were all inside the vehicle and headed to the vet’s.

After the check-up, Bear was taken in by the organization Lost & Found Pets, Washington, who tried locating Bear’s owner. However, as that didn’t happen, Bear was put up for adoption.

It wasn’t long until he found his forever home. Bear’s life changed for the better all thanks to Amanda and her friend Dylan.

Cancer stricken daughter teaches dad a lesson on the importance of ‘being brave’

What is the true meaning of bravery? Is it one’s ability to confront frightening things, or is it the courage to stay strong even when you know the end is near and the battle you fought so hard is lost?

For one 16-year-old girl, being brave meant staying strong for her father who never left her side during the toughest of times.

The following story was shared by a man named Tom Mitchell.

This devoted father recalled his girl telling him she wasn’t feeling fine and asking to be taken to the doctor’s as she believed she had sinus infection.

“Sure baby, I’ll pick you up after school tomorrow. We’ll grab some dinner afterwards if you want,” he answered.

The two did have dinner together the following day, but not at their favorite restaurant. Instead, they could barely swallow the food at the pediatric oncology unit of Fairfax Hospital. That meal was one of more than 450 these father and daughter would have there together, and the hundreds more in the years that followed.

His girl didn’t have sinus infection but a huge tumor that spread to her lungs and caused one to collapse.

The struggle was real. They were well aware that things wouldn’t be easy, but they were determined to fight together.

Shayla was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s disease.

Tom bought two sterling silver ‘feather’ bracelets and put one of each on their wrists as he tried to explain what it meant to be brave and endure the challenges and the obstacles life put ahead of them.

He then promised three things, that he would wear the bracelet until Shayla was cancer free, that he would stay at the hospital every single night, and that he would remain strong as long as she did.

Shayla’s battle with cancer lasted for years, each of which filled with chemotherapy, pain killers, radiation, blood transfusions, more pain killers, more medicine. All this was way too much for her body to handle so her heart became weak and she was in need of defibrillator which was soon installed inside her chest.

One day, as Shayla was getting ready for a chemo treatment, she suddenly started yelling, “Help me Dad! IT’S SHOCKING ME! …IT’S SHOCKING ME!”

Tom went on to explain what had happened. “I pulled her close and held her as tight as I could. It shocked her AGAIN and nearly blew her out of my arms. But I refused to let go. I just held her as tightly as I could and just like that. it stopped shocking her as quickly as it had started, and we rushed to the hospital.”

It turned out that the manufacturer of the device was forced to pull back thousands of them due to malfunction, and one of them happened to be the one inside Shayla’s chest.

What followed were more chemo treatments, more blood transfusions, one failed bone marrow transplant, and many painful sleepless nights. But Shayla never even thought of giving up, not until the very end.

“How in the world was I supposed to have this conversation with my darling daughter? How in the world was I going to be brave enough to tell my daughter she was going to die? I once heard a quote that sort of sums things up for me. “Can a man still be brave if he is afraid? … That is the only time he CAN be brave.” I knew I had to be brave for HER! I did of course have that conversation with her, and as unbelievable as this may sound it turned out to be the most amazing, beautiful, magical, wonderful conversation I’ve ever had in my entire life, and one that I hope you NEVER EVER have to have…” Tom shared.

“Am I still brave Dad?,” she whispered softly in his ear.

He then looked straight into her eyes and saw inside her soul. He knew she was very tired of fighting, that she couldn’t do it any longer, but he then realized something that sent chills down his spine. She wasn’t brave for herself, she was brave for him!

Unfortunately, Shayla died a few days later, but her dad will never forget her bravery and her strength.

Rest in peace, Shayla.

Prince Harry has his own nickname for Kate Middleton

Being born into a royal family means being under the spotlight your entire life. Every move these people make is of great interest to the public and as a result, they have to learn how to live with the pressure by the media they experience on a daily basis.

The British royals have further caught the attention of people from every corner of the planet after the much-loved Prince Harry tied the knot with former Suits actress Meghan Markle.

Their relationship started as a blind date during which they clicked, and the rest is history.

Shutterstock

He always tended to live much simpler life, and that is probably closely related to losing his mother, Princess Diana, when he was just a 12-year-old boy. Harry accused the paparazzi of what his mother had to go through each and every day, and many believe her death was a result of the pressure on her by the media.

One of the reasons why he and Meghan decided to step down from their royal duties was exactly that, to avoid “history repeating itself,” as the prince told Oprah during the interview watched by millions.

“I can safely say that losing my mum at the age of 12, and therefore shutting down all of my emotions for the last 20 years, has had a quite serious effect on not only my personal life but my work as well,” Harry told the Daily Telegraph.

“I have probably been very close to a complete breakdown on numerous occasions when all sorts of grief and all sorts of lies and misconceptions and everything are coming to you from every angle.”

Both William and Prince Harry attended Wetherby School in London, and later studied at Eton College. Harry, however, took a gap year and went to Australia to work at a sheep farm. He was also part of the military.

Currently, Harry, Meghan, and their children live in The States. However, no matter their decision to split with the Royals, Queen Elizabeth released a statement saying that The Sussexes “remain much loved members.”

When it comes to Harry’s relationship with his brother, the two have always been really close. Or, at least until Harry tied the knot. During the bombshell interview, Harry confirmed they haven’t spoken in a while, but plan to.

Shutterstock

Harry has also been close to William’s wife, Kate Middleton. Recently, his nickname for the Duchess came to light. Ok Magazine wrote how the prince calls his sister-in-law “Cath.”

During an interview with BBC Radio 1, the host asked Kate: “Is this a thing just in the family?” referring to what Harry calls her. “Yeah, I’m not sure,” the Duchess answered. “I’m not that familiar with it I have to say, but I’ll answer to most things to be honest.”

Kate Middleton and Prince Harry first met and got introduced in 2003 at Highgrove. The Duke of Sussex was around when his brother, Prince William, invited Kate Middleton to meet his father at Prince Charles’s family house.

“I actually went bright red when I met [him] and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting [him],” Kate admitted, adding, “William wasn’t there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn’t there from Fresher’s Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other, but we did become very close friends from quite early on.”

Shutterstock

According to royal author Christopher Andersen, when Harry and Kate first met and she looked away for a moment, he said, “Oh my God, she is gorgeous!”

Truth is that Prince Harry and Kate Middleton got along from the start. A University friend of Prince William and Kate, Jules Knight, said: ”Kate and Harry got on like they’d known each other forever.” She added that two shared a playful bond. “They were always full of fun when they were together. They were joking around all the time – always trying to find ways to make each other laugh,” Knight said.

Harry often visited his brother and sister-in-law at Kensington Palace, where she was happy to cook Harry’s favorite dish, roasted chicken. Kate filled a hole in Harry’s heart, one that opened ever since his mom’s passing. He considered her his sister and even a mother figure at times.

During their younger days, when William and Kate took some time off and he reportedly dated other women, among which Becca Craig whom he met during a trip to Kenya. However, it was Harry as well as Prince Charles who insisted William not to give Becca any false expectations and get together with Kate.

We hope that despite everything that has happened between the royals during the last couple of years, they will be able to smooth things down between them and their relationship will be as steady as back in the day.

Camilla broke her toe and was in pain before the Queen’s funeral but continued carrying out royal duties

The Royal family has been through so much over the years. One particular thing that shook the monarchy to the core was the leaked affair between then-Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. At the time the entire country learned of their relationship, they were both married to other people.

The wide public condemned their affair, as they believed it was Camilla who was to be blamed for the failed marriage between the heir to the throne and Lady Di, the princess who capture millions of hearts, not only of Britons but people from all over the world.

Speaking of the troubles in her marriage and the reasons for its failure, Diana told Martin Bashir during a televised interview, “Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”

Shutterstock/ITS

Queen Elizabeth herself not only wasn’t happy because of the affair but she was mad and believed Charles’ act affected the monarchy’s reputation.

Rumors were that Charles asked his mother to “soften her antagonism so he could live openly with Camilla,” as reported by author and journalist Tom Bower. The confrontation, however, didn’t go as planned. Although the Queen rarely interfered, she did have a lot to say this time. “But on that evening she’d had several martinis, and to Charles’ surprise, she replied forcefully: she would not condone his adultery, nor forgive Camilla for not leaving Charles alone to allow his marriage to recover. [Queen Elizabeth] vented her anger that he had lied about his relationship with what she called ‘that wicked woman,’ and added: ‘I want nothing to do with her,’” Bower said.

Charles, however, was determined to proceed with the relationship, and he and Camilla tied the knot in 2005, around 30 years after they first met during a polo match.

Shutterstock/360b

Over the years, Camilla showed she truly cared for Charles and the royal family. She got involved in a number of charities and people realized she was a loving person. Her reputation started improving and she and the Queen got along pretty well.

At the time Camilla and Charles married, the Palace announced she would become Princess Consort. This, however, changed shortly after Queen Elizabeth celebrated her Platinum Jubilee. In a sincere and emotional speech, late Queen Elizabeth said, “And when, in the fullness of time, my son Charles becomes King, I know you will give him and his wife Camilla the same support that you have given me, and it is my sincere wish that, when that time comes, Camilla will be known as Queen Consort as she continues her own loyal service.”

Following Her Majesty’s passing on September 8, 2022, Camilla said of her mother-in-law, “There weren’t women prime ministers or women presidents, she was the only one, so I think she carved her own role.

“She’s been part of our lives forever. I’m 75 now and I can’t remember anyone except the Queen being there.”

Shutterstock/James Pearce

Grant Harrold, former butler to King Charles, spoke to Insider and said that people should finally let go of Princess Diana and embrace Camilla as their Queen Consort.

“There are always going to be people who love Diana — that’s not going to change,” he said. “In reality, how many people in this country have affairs? How many marriages break down?

“It’s tricky when people judge and point fingers, but I don’t think people should judge others… It’s their private life, things happened whether right or wrong. But it was the right decision for all of them and we have to close the door on it.”

Shutterstock/ChrisGhinda

Deborah Mitchell, Camilla’s facialist, spoke dearly of the Queen Consort as well, and she’s not the only person who has praised King Charles’ wife for being a kind and loving person.

“I was a real Diana fan until I met the duchess, I really was,” Mitchell told Insider in 2020.

“I wasn’t expecting that she would be absolutely lovely in real life. She’s a very thoughtful person, she’s very much for women’s rights, and when she does any charity work, she does it because she wants to. Not because she has to, or for the fame. She doesn’t do anything for any other reason than that it’s the right thing to do,” she added.

Max Mumby/Indigo/Getty Images

Just before the Queen’s funeral, it was reported by people close to the family that Camilla broke her toe during the Scotland, Wale, and Northern Ireland UK tour.

“She is in quite a lot of pain but she is just getting on with it. It is unfortunate timing to say the least but she’s been an absolute trouper,” a source told The Telegraph.

A spokesman for the King said they won’t be making any comments on health issues.

Even with a broken toe, Camilla proceeded with the royal duties, which meant standing long hours before and during the Queen’s funeral. On Saturday, two days after the Queen’s passing, she was standing up for an hour-long ceremony at St James’s Palace in London, and on Monday, she appeared at the service and vigil at St Giles’s Cathedral in Edinburgh.

On Tuesday, she continued with another walkabout in Northern Ireland and later returned to Buckingham Palace when they awaited the arrival of Her Majesty’s coffin return to London.

We wish Camilla a quick recovery.

Nicole Bass dubbed herself the ”biggest & strongest” woman on earth, but she left the world far too early

Nicole Bass’ personality was described as larger than life by pretty much everyone who has ever met her.

Being 6’2 and weighing 240 pounds of pure muscle, this woman became a bodybuilding sensation, but that wasn’t the only world she conquered.

Although her career in professional wresting was short-lived, she did left an everlasting impression because not many people have ever seen a woman her size. Over the years, Nicole gained fame for her appearances on The Howard Stern Show, which opened many doors for her with regards to her career as a wrestler. People loved her for her humor, which was self-deprecating. One thing she loved was make people laugh, and she was quite good at it. At one point, she even dubbed herself the “biggest, heaviest, tallest and strongest” woman in the world.

Facebook / Nicole Bass

Nicole’s stint at WWE began with a debut at WrestleMania 15, a planetary popular pro-wrestling event.

However, as everyone expected Nicole to rise to stardom and pursue a long career, she was sacked from the company after just a couple of months, which resulted in a lawsuit. She wanted $120 million, claiming that her contract had been wrongly terminated. The trial sort of turned into a circus and eventually, Bass’ case was dismissed by a New York City jury in 2002.

WWE Attorney Jerry McDewitt made some harsh remarks after the trial was over. “Nicole Bass’ case was a bunch of filmsy garbage, just a shakedown. She wanted money from a company that she thought would roll over and pay it. She was wrong,” he said in 2002.

She on the other hand saw the trial as a victory, although the outcome wasn’t in her favor. “I stood up for women. I stood up to a huge corporation. I stuck to my guns. It was very much an ordeal for me, to have to go through this process,” she told PW Torch.

Besides being a regular on Howard Stern Show, Bass also worked as an actress. She appeared in Private Parts, the autobiographical story of Howard Stern, The Bold and the Beautiful and General Hospital.

However, after leaving the wresting scene, she sort of vanished from the limelight and worked regular jobs out of the reach of the public eye.

Ever since 1985, Bass was married to Richard “Bob” Fuchs. They stayed together until his tragic passing in 2013. He was 64 at the time and died in his sleep. Bass was quite younger than him and she took care of him during the last years of his life. His death was something Bass couldn’t get over for a long period of time.

Eventually, she started dating her business partner, Kristen Marrone.

In mid-February, her name emerged in the news once again as media reported she was found unconscious in her apartment. She was then rushed to the hospital, but there was nothing that could be done. Following a heart attack, Bass was pronounced brain dead. She passed away on February 17, 2017 at the age of 52 after she was taken off life support.

”A few days ago Nicole got very sick. She was brought into the hospital and they did everything they could to help her. I have been sitting here with her in the room 24/7 since she got here making sure she was being given the best possible care. Today we learned that there is nothing else that can be done. Nicole was an amazing woman. Strong not only on the outside but inside as well. Beautiful soul and kind heart. Many people knew Nicole but few ever got close enough to know the REAL woman that she was. I got to be one of the lucky few. Not only was she my soul mate and my girlfriend but she was my best friend, my teacher and my business partner. I learned many valuable things from her and created many beautiful memories in the time we had together,” her partner shared on Facebook.

Nicole Bass was such a strong woman, both inside and out.
