Around two years after he officially split from his now-ex-wife Lisa Bonet, Jason Momoa went public with his new relationship. He and actress Adria Arjona were spotted packing on the PDA on Tuesday, May 21. Two days prior, they made their relationship Instagram official.
People first started guessing that the two were dating in early May of this year when Momoa appeared at Basingstoke Comic Con in England and disclosed to fans that he had been in a relationship for a considerable period. “I’m very much in a relationship. I’ve been in a relationship for a while,” he told the crowd. “I’m really enjoying [my] privacy ’cause back in the day nobody gave a f**k, and now everybody does.”
Recently, the Aquaman star posted several photos with Arjona as part of a collection showcasing their trip to Japan. In one of the pictures, the two are seen smiling on a beach. In the post, he lovingly referred to Arjona as “mi amor.”
“Japan, you are a dream come true you blew my mind. We’re so thankful for everyone who opened their homes, making memories with new friends and old friends, sharing another amazing adventure with mi amor. ON THE ROAM motorcycles and mayhem. All my aloha j,” the actor wrote.
Arjona has had a Hollywod career herself. After several notable roles, among those in Pacific Rim Uprising, Life of the Party, and a recurring part in True Detective, she had her breakthrough role as Dorothy Gale in the Oz book adaptation Emerald City. Although the series was canceled after one season, she has since secured numerous significant roles.
Some of her most prominent roles include Morbius, Father of the Bride, Good Omens, and Andor. Additionally, she appears in the new comedy-action Netflix film, Hit Man, directed by Richard Linklater, in which she stars in along with Glen Powell.
One of her latest projects, Blink Twice, was directed by Zoë Kravitz, Momoa’s stepdaughter from his marriage to Bonet.
Arjona was married to lawyer Edgardo Canales. Their relationship was a private one and no details of their split have been released.
Before Arjona, Momoa briefly dated Eiza González for a few months in 2022.
The new couple were both part of the cast of Netflix’s Sweet Girl, which was released in 2021.

A five-month-old Cane Corso/pit mastiff puppy was abandoned at the Pennsylvania SPCA headquarters. The little one was tied to a pole along with a note that read, “Good Puppy. House Broken. Don’t Have A Name.”
According to a Facebook post, the puppy was healthy, but it looked like she had been crying.
“We literally had to wipe away the tears from her eyes,” the SPCA wrote.
“Our hearts broke for her. She was so terrified… At just five months old, this sweet girl has been abandoned by likely the only family she has known.
“But she was safe with us now.”
The unexpected visitor was named Minerva, and she was there to stay, well, until the SPCA found her a new home.
Minerva’s story was so touching that it attracted the attention of a huge number of people and it didn’t take long before the right people contacted the shelter and asked to adopt her.
Of course, many were glad Minerva’s story got a happy ending.
“Congratulations to beautiful Minerva and her equally beautiful forever family,” one comment on the post reads. “Thank you for adopting this sweet baby and giving her such a wonderful home with you.”
“Ohhh look at those smiling faces!!!” another wrote. “You are amazing!! She’s gonna be spoiled! No more tears there!”
Minerva is among the lucky ones who end up in families that provide them with love and care, but sadly, the number of dogs who never get adopted is huge.
The SPCA encourages people to consider adoption over purchasing their four-legged friends.
“We are seeing the frequency of dogs abandoned on our property rise,” the Pennsylvania SPCA wrote. “We are witnessing owner surrenders increasing. It may go without saying that adoptions have slowed down significantly.”
“Dogs just like Minerva are coming in every day. We are rescuing animals from cruelty and neglect. We are saving them after they’ve been abandoned. And we are hoping with all of our might that loving families will come to adopt.”
We are so happy for Minerva and we truly hope that more dogs will get to find their forever home.

The Achy Breaky Heart singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, and his third wife, singer Firerose, tied the knot in October 2023.
The couple sparked engagement rumors when she posted a photo wearing a diamond on her ring finger on Sept. 13, 2022. It was later revealed that Billy proposed some months earlier.
“Billy looked at me and said, ‘Do you, do you wanna marry me?’ And I was just like, ‘Of course I do. I love you,'” Firerose said of the proposal. “He said, ‘I love you. I wanna make this official. I wanna be with you forever.'”

The pair first met some 12 years ago while he filmed Hannah Montana and she was there to audition for a part in the show.
Recalling the first time they met, Billy shared, “There were a couple of old pine trees on the lot that reminded me of Tennessee. Tex, my dog, and I would go out there in the middle of the day, and he’d do his thing. We’d stretch, and I’d think about how much I missed Tennessee. On that particular day, Firerose emerged from the front door. There was almost a moment of, I don’t know, recognition. I thought, ‘This girl’s a star.’”
He then continued, “She mentioned she had an audition, and I said, ‘Well, I’m sure you got the job.’”
Firerose didn’t get the part, but the two stayed in touch.
“I just thought, well, the casting agents, the producers, the writers, they’re all on the floor of where we do Hannah Montana. And I actually said to her, ‘Don’t ever take a strange man up on this offer, but, in this case, Tex will testify that you will be totally safe,’” Billy said.
“‘I’m going to introduce you to a producer, and you can kind of make yourself at home and watch us rehearse and, you know, maybe it might lead to a role or just another contact at Disney.’ And, so, off me and her and Tex went back to the studio. And I think she met a lot of the cast and met the producers, writers. And, in some ways, well, in a lot of ways, we became friends,” the Billy shared.
He proposed in August 2022, and not longer after that, she moved in with him.
Before tying the knot with Firerose, 34, Billy, 62, was married to Tish Cyrus for 28 years. The exes share five children together, daughters Miley, Noah, and Brandi, and sons Trace and Braison. Billy also has another child, son Christopher Cody, whom he had with Kristen Luckey, the woman he dated before Tish.
Being a singer-songwriter herself, Firerose and her husband collaborated on various projects. Most recently, they released their music collaboration – a cover of Silent Night as well as their music video for their fourth single together, titled Plans which was premiered exclusively by People.
“Plans’ is such a positive song full of love and passion. Everyone on set brought their A game. I’m so excited for fans to see what we created!”
When they shared photos of their wedding day, Firerose and Billy received an outpouring of messages from fans congratulating them on their union. However, one thing caught many people’s attention -Billy’s hair – and they decided to share their opinion on the matter.
“Could he not have at least combed his hair for the occasion?” asked one person. “He couldn’t find a comb?!” asked someone else. “All that money and no hairbrush?!” joked another.

“She fought bravely and all of you would have been so proud of her. Her poise, her courage, her strength and her pure spirit shone through right until the end,” her family wrote.
The Nelson High School student was loved by many. She touched the lives of everyone she had encountered, and it was now her friends’ turn to show her just how much she meant to them.

Their wish was that Laura receive a love-filled farewell worth of a beloved friend and student.

When they saw their daughter’s casket, Laura’s family were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support.
One of the messages read, “You were musical. You were artistic. You were understanding. You were my bestest friend.” Another read: “Very brave and strong. You will always be a hero.”
Laura’s favorite color, purple, was on display at the church and on people’s clothes.
Sadly, Laura left this world, but the outpouring of love from her local community was heartwarming to see.

Amid her battle with cancer, all eyes are on Kate Middleton.
Following the stir her absence from the public and the media caused, Kate shared a pre-recorded video in which she explained that doctors found presence of cancer while running tests following her planned abdominal surgery.
Since then, she has cleared her schedule and the Palace hasn’t issued any statements regarding her potential return to royal duties.

However, a senior aide seems to know more of what has been going on behind closed doors and hinted about the potential time Kate could return to her royal duties.
Despite the fact that she tries to stay out of the spotlight, the Princess of Wales is “excited” to be at the heart of the launch of a new project that could boost the UK economy by £45.5billion ($57 billion) a year. As per The Daily Mirror, Kate’s Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood would release a report this week from eight British firms that would identify five areas where businesses can support children under five and their caregivers. It will also highlight the significant future benefits of investing in early childhood.

Mail Online reports a senior royal aide saying: “The Princess of Wales was the driving force behind the business task force. She has been kept up to date since the inception of the task force and she has read the report and been briefed on it.
“This is a clear commitment she has made throughout her life of public service that this will be focus. That will continue when she returns to work. But we have been really clear that she needs the space and the privacy to recover right now. She will return to work when she has had the green light from doctors.”
The Centre for Early Childhood, described as Kate Middleton’s “life’s work,” was founded in 2021.

Harry and Meghan celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on May 19.
The beautiful ceremony of tying the knot between Harry and Meghan took place on on May 19, 2018. Among the guests were a lot of celebrities such as George Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams, James Corden, and Oprah Winfrey. Meghan wore a wedding dress designed by Givenchy’s then-creative director, Clare Waight Keller, and the stunning Queen Mary’s bandeau tiara which belonged to the Queen’s grandmother, Queen Marry.
The wedding was broadcast and seen by more than 29.19 million viewers.

Harry and Meghan’s wedding was a perfect union, a flawless counterpart to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding seven years prior, yet the two ceremonies were different in many ways.
As expected, Kate and William’s wedding held greater significance because it marked the union of a future king and queen.
One of the notable differences before the ceremony was that Kate Middleton arrived with her father, while Meghan arrived with her mother, due to her more complicated relationship with her father, Thomas, in recent years.
In photos of the two brides, Meghan waved to the crowd more casually, with her fingers spread apart. In contrast, Kate’s wave was more formal, with her fingers held close together.
Royal experts questioned the guest list of Harry and Meghan. Among the rest, Andrew Morton – the author of Diana: Her True Story, said, “[Meghan] populated the wedding with A-list Hollywood celebrities who… have proved their worth to her by speaking out in public about the criticisms of her,” Morton said. “I don’t think she (had) even met Oprah Winfrey (before the wedding). I don’t know whether Harry had. But she invited these people along, and now she has her own court.
“She’s a new player and she’s been quick out (of) the starting box. Unlike Prince Harry’s friends who keep quiet, Megan’s A-list celebrity friends, the court of Meghan, is a very voluble court and they’re very powerful.”
That something was off with Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royals was evident just days after the wedding, as per Jonny Dymond, royal correspondent for the BBC.
“I mean, within days, really …There were stories coming out about how Megan behaved towards staff,” he said in the BBC documentary The Prince and the Press.

Camilla Tominey – who first broke the story of Harry and Meghan’s relationship, added – “We were getting briefings that all was not well, with the relationship between William and Harry, Meghan, and Kate, and the relationship between Harry and Meghan and the royal household.”
According to Meghan, before the split with the Firm, she and Harry allegedly asked for a permission to move to another country in the Commonwealth, perhaps South Africa or Canada. However, the answer was a resounding no.
“Anything to just … because just by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy. So we go, ‘Okay, fine, let’s get out of here. Happy to,’” Meghan recalled during a recent interview with The Cut.
Saying that other Royal Family members had gotten the green light for the same arrangement, she added, “That, for whatever reason, is not something that we were allowed to do, even though several other members of the family do that exact thing.”

Now, six years later, the Sussexes have established a completely new life for themselves and their two children at the States.
But, according to one expert, their seemingly perfect marriage and luxurious lifestyle are “too good to be true.”
Royal expert Ingrid Seward, speaking to The Sun, explained that Harry and Meghan’s “Disneyesque” 2018 wedding brought them the affection of the public, but unfortunately, this favorable opinion didn’t last.
“We loved them for a while, and then we didn’t much anymore. Too many complaints. But they were in love and that mattered. Until they left and then they didn’t matter anymore. They had let the Queen down, they had let the Prince of Wales down, they had let William, then the Duke of Cornwall down,” Seward said.
“They had let us down. Harry was stoic. He loved his Californian lifestyle. He loved his wife and children. But he was bitter against everything he had left behind including his brother and his father and his sister-in-law, Kate.”

When they departed from the Firm, Harry and Meghan referred to leaving Britain as to a “freedom flight.”
Moreover, Seward added that Harry’s life is a “success” when judging his financial success. However, “he as a man,” the royal expert added,” is not a success.”
“As a husband and father, he has done brilliantly. And when he and Meghan celebrate their six-year anniversary on Sunday (today) they will pat themselves on the back,” Seward told The Sun.
“People said it wouldn’t last and it has! Harry is no longer feted in his homeland as he once was. If anything, he is pitied. I don’t think Harry can see it. He is happy in his rarefied world with Meghan doing what they do. Long may it last – and I think it will.”

Historian Gareth Russell said that Harry and Meghan, in one way, are forming “an alternative royal family.
“To all intents and purposes that is a real possibility. The problem for the Sussexes is that once you start doing anything like that, people become a lot more critical of what you do outside that – like commercial endeavours or quasi-royal tours,” Russell said speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive.
“People will put them under more of a microscope because they’re calling it ‘The Office of Harry and Meghan’. It’s interesting. I wonder is it part of a plan to pivot from some harsh headlines they’ve had in the last year or two? Is it maybe a slightly more social conservative direction and have themselves as royals in exile for want of a better word?”
The historian concluded, “I wonder is that them acting on advice that people don’t want to hear them criticising the royal family. Their popularity at the moment is pretty low in America but that could change. Public opinion is always a bit of a rollercoaster. But they absolutely could (go on a US tour) and there’s indications that they will.”

Before Kate Middleton decided to open up about her health condition and disclosed her cancer diagnosis with the world, both she and the Palace found themselves in the middle of rumors and plenty of conspiracy theories, some more bizarre than others.
Besides that, the Princess of Wales decided to remain silent until she felt it was the right time to address the public and the media. Some claim that she chose the exact date and timing for releasing the video in which she spoke of her cancer because at that time her children’s school had already closed so they wouldn’t have to face comments and questions by their schoolmates right away.
Further, as much as Kate wanted to protect her children, she also wanted to protect her husband, Prince William.

Speaking to GB News, author Alexander Larman argued that the conspiracies surrounding Kate Middleton showed that the world is “obsessed with the health of the royal family,” and “look to them so set an example.”
Additionally, Larman said, “The trolls have carried on to this day. But one thing that’s very interesting is if you look at the difference between the responses. Buckingham Palace came forward very quickly and gave a fairly candid idea of what’s happening with Charles with his illness, and Kensington Palace didn’t.”
He continued: “I think that’s because Prince William is much more into the vein of never complain, never explain, which was his great grandfather’s motto, and has always served the Royal Family well.
“But it doesn’t hold up in 2024 because you’ve got to allow the idea the information is going to get out into the public, whether you like it or not.”

Since Kate shared her diagnosis, she and her family spent plenty of time at Anmer Hall at Sandringham, including the three weeks of school break the children had.
On April 23, Prince Louis celebrated his sixth birthday, and his parents shared an adorable photo of him for the happy occasion.
Throughout the years, it was Kate who usually took the photos of her children, but since the incident involving the Mother’s Day photo when she shared an image that she had previously edited, many believed she won’t be taking Louis’s photo this year, but the princess kept tradition alive.
“Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today,” the caption read.

Following Kate’s disclosure of her diagnosis, her family remained silent. Except for Queen Camilla’s brief mention of the princess some weeks ago during a royal engagement, there have been no further updates provided. However, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams suggests that William’s recent comments about his wife might be conveying a hidden message to the public.
Prince William made a public engagement on April 18 during which he helped out at a food distribution charity called Surplus to Supper. Volunteer Rachel Candappa handed the future king two get-well-soon cards addressed to his father and his wife.
Visibly moved, William told her, “Thank you, you are very kind.”
Since this was William’s first public appearance after Kate’s disclosure of her diagnosis, Richard Fitzwilliams believes the prince sends a “well-timed” hidden message: Things are on the way to normality again.

Fitzwilliams remarked that Prince William’s participation in the food distribution charity implies that both he and Kate Middleton are progressing toward resuming their royal duties.
“We know William is going back to royal duties shortly. The royal family obviously needs him. This was an important appearance, simply in the sense that it was what one would call normal. Obviously, with the royal family very little is actually normal at the moment. He is clearly looking after the children as far as feasible. I mean, it’s it’s a burden William has. It sent this message that things some things are going on, more or less as normal,” the royal author told The Sun.

“On the other hand, we know they’re not, and we know it’s a very difficult time,” he concluded.
“He and Catherine are attached to some 50 or so patronages – for example, mental health or homelessness, or the Earthshot prize. They know perfectly well there’s this tremendous cachet when either of them are attached to a particular institution or cause. Polls have made absolutely clear where the public support lies, and the fact that they are so highly regarded.”
As reported by Hello!, Kensington Palace has confirmed that William is set to engage in two public engagements that will see him leave Windsor for an overnight stay. And as this isn’t anything unusual, during these times for the royal family it may mean that things do start to change for the better.

Following a break to spend more time with his wife amidst her diagnosis, the Prince of Wales has resumed his public duties. The Times reports that he intends to ramp up his schedule of public appearances over the next two months, ahead of his children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – going on summer break in July and August.
Despite his efforts to carry out the royal duties impeccably, his wife and children sometimes get upset with William. An occasion like that took place a few days ago when William visited the Isles of Scilly, the archipelago located off the southwestern tip of Cornwall, over which William became the Duke when Charles became king in September 2022.
As per Express, William said the trip had “upset” his wife and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
He said they were “upset I’m here without them” as he praised the glorious weather.
“My family are very upset I’m here without them. The children will kill me if I don’t go home later,” William said.

William’s remark about his family was definitely amusing, but it probably has a deeper significance. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond suggests that his two-night absence indicates to the public that things are doing well.
“I’ve no doubt that Catherine’s parents will be staying with her, but even so it must be a step in the right direction. Hopefully Catherine is feeling stronger every day and, with the sun now shining, she’ll be able to enjoy the great outdoors which, for her, has always been restorative,” she told OK!.

Melania Trump first met her future husband at a Kit Kat Club event during the New York Fashion Week in 1998, when the famous Italian businessman Paolo Zampolli, who helped her get a work visa to the U.S. brought a friend, Donald Trump. In her new book titled I’ll Take Your Questions Now, former senior aide and press secretary to Donald Trump, Stephanie Grisham, revealed plenty of juicy details about the Trumps.
For one, Grisham writes about what it was like to be working for the former First Lady, Melania Trump. She also recalls one specific moment when Trump went mad over his wife’s “mistake,” which made him target of wide criticism. Namely, on her way to a migrant housing facility in Texas, Melania wore a jacket with the text “I REALLY DON’T CARE, DO U?”

In an attempt to help improve the image of her husband’s administration, Melania’s wrong choice of wardrobe only made things worse, and she eventually abandoned the program.
I’ll Take Your Questions Now also reveals that some of the staff working for the Secret Service in the White House didn’t quite like Melania’s approach to the job.
Namely, being the First Lady, she was expected to be working from her office in the East Wing, but instead, she spent most of her time in the executive resident.
During the four years at the White House, Melania was reportedly spotted in her office only “a handful of times.”
“Mrs. Trump was working from home long before the country was,” Grisham wrote, referring to the Covid-19 pandemic, as reported by CNN.
“When warranted, we would have in-person meetings, but those generally took place in the Map Room across from the elevators to the residence. There we would plan out schedules, respond to pressing queries, and discuss goals. Other than that, the first lady kept to her rooms in the residence.”

Apparently, Melania was busy with “self-care” and would spend long hours sleeping.
“She believed that relaxation was central to one’s beauty regimen, as were, of course, spa treatments and facials.”
All this led to the staff at the Secret Service to secretly call her Rapunzel, because “she remained in her tower, never descending.”
Currently, Donald Trump is in the middle of a “hush-money” trial and Melania is not in the courtroom. The reason why is because she wants to protect her son from media scrutiny.
“Melania is good at taking care of business at hand, which includes her own life, the life of her son, and the lives of her close family members,” a source told People Magazine in August last year.
“She would not stand in a circle of people she knows and openly comment on the lawsuits or the mug shot. She will have her way of dealing with this and anything else publicly when she feels like it,” the source added. “Remember, Melania is a mom with a not-yet-adult son to protect. A mug shot that everyone is talking about is just one more issue to wade through.”

What’s known is that Melania has always been someone who tends to avoid the spotlight, and now that Trump is in the middle of a presidential campaign and a trial doesn’t change that fact.
Once, Melania mocked Donald after he struggled to find the exit from the stage at a rally.
During a Wildwood, New Jersey rally, Donald Trump told the crowd that he no longer does an impression of Joe Biden – because Melania thought it was really him.
Trump recalled, “I called my wife [Melania Trump], the great first lady…I called our first lady – I said, ‘First Lady, how great a speech was that? ‘”

When Molly’s parents divorced, she was still very young. Her dad, Danny, was out of her life and she grew up with her mom, Daisy.
Around ten years since her mom and dad split, her mom passed away. Molly was heartbroken because she felt her world shattered into a million pieces. All of a sudden, she was all by herself, with no one by her side except for some family members and few friends.
As she was shedding tears over her mom’s coffin, Molly, who was in her wheelchair, felt someone’s hand landing on her back. It was her dad whom she hadn’t seen in years. She had only heard about him from her mother, who didn’t always speak nice of the man she believed abandoned them.

When the funeral was over, Danny asked Molly to move in with him. She was hesitant because she grew up without her father, but now he was there and he was ready to take her in and take care of her.
Due to an injury from the time she was still very young, Molly had troubles using her left leg, so when she wasn’t moving around with the help of her clutches, she was in her wheelchair.
Molly and Danny tried to bond, and he seemed to be a great person, contrary to what her mother had told her about him. Danny did try really hard to be the father his daughter deserved. But during the night, he would sneak out of the house, which made Molly sure of her mother’s accusations of him that he was spending time with his friends at the pub and wasn’t spending the nights at home.
Despite that, Molly felt secure by her dad’s side.

One night, as he arrived home, he heard Molly crying loudly in her room. He rushed to her and asked her what was wrong, but she refused to tell him what troubled her. Danny, however, insisted. His heart crushed with every tear that rolled down his daughter’s face. Assuring her that she can tell him everything, Molly finally opened up. She told her dad that she was the only one from the class who didn’t have a partner for the upcoming prom. Hearing this, Danny’s soul ached.
“I don’t have a date, I even asked some boys if one of them would at least dance with me during prom, but they refused and laughed,” Molly said. I don’t want to go to the prom, daddy, I want to be alone! Goodnight!”
Danny wouldn’t let Molly miss her prom. The following day, he purchased an amazing gown for her and told her she wouldn’t be alone on her special night.
When the prom night arrived, Danny, who worked as a truck driver, parked his huge truck in front of the school and honked loudly. When all eyes were on him, he got out of the truck, pulled the wheelchair out, and pushed his daughter on the red carpet as the gathering watched in amazement.

As the music rolled, the father and daughter danced in the middle of the dance floor, with Danny carrying his daughter in his arms. For a moment, Molly forgot that she had a disability and laughed her heart out as her dad kept swaying her. “My dad is my real superhero. I love him more than anything else in this world. I feel blessed and proud to say I’m his daughter,” Molly told her classmates that night.
The two had a lot of fun, but what they didn’t know was that after that night, their lives would be changed forever.
When they arrived home, Danny confessed to Molly that he and her mother divorced after he started not spending the nights at home. But contrary to what his wife thought, Danny wasn’t out drinking, but he was working a second job at a nursing home in order to be able to gather money for Molly’s surgery that would help her walk by herself again. Molly’s mom didn’t trust Danny, so the two decided to part their ways.

The following morning, when Danny got back home from work, he noticed an envelope in the mailbox. On it, there was a card attached that read, “Dad of the Year!”
Inside the envelop, Danny found $10,000 and a letter. “Dear Danny, we hope this will improve your daughter’s life. Good luck with her surgery, and we hope you spend more time with her in the evenings. Best Wishes, Your Prom Buddies!”
Danny couldn’t believe his eyes. He realized it was the parents he’d met the previous night who were behind this incredible act.
He was quick to enter the house and share the news with his girl. “Really?! My God, daddy…This is unbelievable!”

With the money Danny had saved and the $10,000 check, Molly got her surgery. It was successful, and gradually, she was able to walk without crutches.
As his goal was reached, Danny quit the night job and he was able to spend more time with his daughter and hopefully make up for the years he had spent away from her.

The name of Elon Musk has been making headlines throughout the years. The boss of X (formerly Twitter), Tesla and SpaceX, who now tends to play a bigger role in the fast-growing world of artificial intelligence, was rumored to have bought the ABC TV network.
This rumor started following a Facebook meme that attracted the attention of many. Later, however, it became apparent that this claim lacked credible evidence to support it.
The meme had a photo of Joy Behar, one of the hosts of the talk show The View, with a comment alleging that “Elon Musk issued a tender offer to buy ‘The View’ outright for $17 and a coupon for a free appetizer at Applebee’s.”
What’s most, media outlets picked up the meme along with a story that Musk fired the entire crew of The View.
The article, initially published on a Facebook page named Love Style, read, “In a surprising turn of events, Elon Musk, the influential CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has made a bold move that has grabbed the attention of the entertainment world. He has acquired ABC and wasted no time in dismissing the entire cast of the long-running talk show, The View. This unprecedented decision has sent shockwaves throughout the industry, leaving fans and critics in awe.”
It continued: “According to sources close to Musk, he took this daring step due to his dissatisfaction with the show’s repetitive arguments and lack of innovation. In a statement, Musk expressed his frustration, saying, ‘I’ve been watching ‘The View’ for years, and it feels like the same tired discussions over and over again. I’ve had enough of it, and I believe it’s time for a fresh approach to daytime talk shows.'”
This story turned out not to be true. Musk neither purchased ABC nor he fired the show’s cast.
However, once the story spread, many believed it was true and re-shared it. Many even commented, with one person writing, “I really like this guy. ‘The View’ should have been gone a long time ago. Thank you, Elon!!,” and another adding, “About time. Someone had to raise the intellectual standards of the American viewer.”

In a recent interview on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, a well-known pop culture icon, attracted attention with her blunt comments about Joy Behar, one of the co-hosts of The View. With a pre-recorded video showing her sitting in the gardens at Windsor, Kate Middleton disclosed her cancer diagnosis with the public. This announcement, which came on March 22, put a stop to the numerous rumors and speculations surrounding her health condition and whereabouts.
Initially, Kate was supposed to return to her royal duties around Easter, as per the Palace. At the time, however, the public was unaware of her cancer. What the Palace shared with the people and the media was that the Princess of Wales had undergone a planned abdominal surgery. Red flags arose, however, when she stayed at the hospital for around two weeks, which was rather long time for such a surgery.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team, therefore, advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” Kate Middleton said in the video.

“This, of course, came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
The princess continued, “As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. A source close to the couple said William and Kate have plans to renovate the Adelaide Cottage grounds annex into a retreat for the Wales family and their staff.
“They [William and Kate] absolutely adore Adelaide Cottage, but it just about fits the entire family, whereas Anmer Hall is much larger with extensive grounds,” a source told OK!. “Adelaide Cottage is being used as a term time property while the children are at school nearby and Anmer Hall is for long weekends and holidays.”
“Nobody knows that there is quite a spacious red-brick annex building that’s not being used next door to Adelaide Cottage,” an insider revealed. “It’s currently uninhabitable and needs extensive renovation works if it were to be used.
“Discussions have been ongoing for a while about using the property as part of the overall cottage grounds, but it’s just about finding the right time to kick the project off.”

As they fear public backlash, Kate and William consider paying for the renovations themselves. “William is very conscious of the public scrutiny over the Royal Family’s spending habits, so he is looking at the best way to cover any renovation costs,” a source disclosed. “It’s a project that’s very much been put on the back burner for now due to the family’s unfortunate position, but it will be looked at again when the time is right,” the insider told OK!.
Royal expert Jennie Bond believes that Kate should be taking up ‘restorative’ activities to help her get better.
“I’ve no doubt that Catherine’s parents will be staying with her, but even so it must be a step in the right direction,” Bond told OK!. “Hopefully Catherine is feeling stronger every day and, with the sun now shining, she’ll be able to enjoy the great outdoors which, for her, has always been restorative.”
However, no matter if she feels better, Kate is obviously not ready to return to her royal duties. At the time being, most of the royal engagements have been performed by William and Queen Camilla.

It is apparent that King Charles sees his nieces as “sensible, lovely women” who could be a great asset for the royal family.

May 17 marks a milestone for Barron Trump, the son of former president and business mogul Donald Trump, as he graduates from Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida.
When his dad was elected president, Barron was just 10 years of age. At the time, he and his mother, Melania Trump, didn’t move into the White House right away but stayed in New York City for around six months until Barron finished his school year. “It’s Melania who wants to stay. She doesn’t want to take Barron out of school,” an unnamed source told the New York Daily News at the time. “She’s concerned that he won’t have the same relationship with new teachers that he has at Columbia Prep.”
When he and Melania joined his father, Barron became the first boy to live in the White House since JFK Jr.

After finishing school in Washington, Barron Trump enrolled at the private school Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida. Currently, Melania and her husband have been looking at colleges in New York and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Both Trump and his children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Tiffany Trump, have graduated from the University of Pennsylvania.
About a month ago, after leaving the court, Trump attacked Judge Juan Marchan, claiming he wouldn’t let him attend Barron’s graduation.
“It looks like the judge will not let me go to the graduation of my son, who’s worked very, very hard, and he is a great student,” Trump stated. “It looks like the judge isn’t going to allow me to escape this scam. It’s a scam trial.”
Contrary to Trump’s claims, NY Mag reports that Judge Merchan did not prohibit the former president from attending his son’s high school graduation. In fact, the judge approved Trump’s request, allowing him to be present to congratulate his youngest son.
However, Trump will not spend the entire day with Barron because he’s preoccupied with numerous other matters, including trials, court dates, lawsuits, and the upcoming presidential election.
As per reports, after Barron’s graduation, Trump is scheduled to headline the Minnesota Republican Party’s annual Lincoln Reagan dinner later that evening.

The future plans of Barron Trump have not been revealed, but according to Eden Gillott, crisis management expert, no matter what college he attends, Barron would likely prefer a quieter life like his mother’s rather than his dad’s love for being in the spotlight.
However, this may not be the case.
“Barron will most likely opt for Melania’s elegance of privacy rather than his father’s love of the spotlight. This selective visibility could define his persona, underscoring the sophistication of leading a life of quiet dignity amidst a world that often confuses noise with influence,” she said speaking to The List.

While his father’s potential presidency could heighten public interest, Barron could use this moment not for direct engagement, but as a chance to reinforce his personal brand of quiet distinction,” she claimed.
“By focusing on his education and personal interests he can navigate the heightened attention in a way that aligns with his preference for privacy, setting a precedent for engaging with the public on his own terms.
“Barron’s choice of a quieter path could mark him as the bearer of a new legacy where he redefines what it looks like to carry the name,” Eden Gilliott told The List. “If, at a later point, he decides he wants to fully step into public life, it’ll be much easier to navigate than trying to close Pandora’s box.”

Where Barron Trump will enroll in the fall is still unknown. He could follow into his father’s footsteps by joining the Trump family business, or he might consider a career in politics, which is also a prominent option.
Recently, the first potential indication of Barron’s future in politics emerged.
According to a list of delegates, as per NBC News, Barron Trump was picked by the Republican Party of Florida as one of the state’s at-large delegates to the Republican National Convention last week.
“We have a great delegation of grassroots leaders, elected officials and even Trump family members,” Florida GOP chairman Evan Power said. “Florida is continuing to have a great convention team, but more importantly we are preparing to win Florida and win it big.”

Several members of the Trump family, including Donald Jr., Eric, and Tiffany, will be serving as delegates for Florida, the state where their father, Donald Trump, officially resides and votes.
As a delegate, Barron would be on the convention floor, participating with the Florida delegation in officially nominating his father.
Serving as one of the state’s at-large delegates to the Republican National Convention would have marked Barron’s most prominent political position to date. However, he has chosen a different path.
According to his mother, Barron didn’t accept the invite.
“While Barron is honoured to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,” a spokeswoman for Melania Trump said in a statement.
Soon, Barron would turn 18 and he would likely make decisions regarding his future himself.

A man shared his story on the “AITA” subreddit and explained that he and his ex-wife had divorced when their children, now 15 and 12, were young. At the beginning, they shared 50/50 custody, but then his ex-wife remarried and he stopped providing spousal support.
Around the time he posted the story, his ex’s husband left her. But he let her have the house the two lived in.

The situation took an unexpected turn when his ex called him recently, asking for food. She explained that she ran out of money and couldn’t provide food for herself and the children. OP agreed to consider her request, telling her he would call her back.
After discussing with his live-in girlfriend, OP armed himself with a freezer full of elk, venison, wild hog, and a pantry stocked with beef, pork, and chicken which he took to his ex. The situation escalated when he called his ex-wife and offered her a sizable haul of groceries.
She refused to accept it and asked for cash instead, saying she would be ordering food herself. OP, however, said he brought her and the kids two weeks worth of food and giving her cash for takeout was off the table.

This made his ex-wife angry. She started calling him names and claimed the food he brought her was ‘scraps.’ He explained that what he brought was an abundance of frozen meat, canned vegetables, and fresh garden produce, as well as unopened bags of pasta and rice.
Driven by his children’s well-being, particularly considering their fondness for hunting and his older son’s cooking skills. OP stood firm. Convinced he was meeting his ex’s needs, he directed his girlfriend not to pack anything.
After contacting his kids and assuring them he would take care of any hunger concerns they had, they said that food was available it just required preparation. “Both of them also said that if I was willing to spare some of the elk and hog roasts they would take them. I laughed and said I would take them over later,” OP wrote.

This, however, put OP in trouble as his ex accused him of forcing her into the role of a “housewife” while allegedly neglecting their kids’ food needs.
Some members of the family were convinced that he should have give her the money and sided with his ex, but OP stood firm in his conviction.
As expected, almost all of the comments his post gathered read that he was NTA.
“Definitely NTA- there’s no reason to be giving her money. She asked for help with food you were readily willing to give her some of your food! But she doesn’t want/need help with food,” one person wrote.
“She wants/needs money. With 50/50 custody you shouldn’t have to give her any money. If she absolutely needs it she will have to apply for government benefits. She’s being ridiculous,” the person concluded.

A woman named Willie Mae Truesdale was disturbed by a loud bang coming from the kitchen. She was quick to check what happened when she saw the glass door of her oven shattered into a million pieces. At the time, the oven was off. “It was shocking and you had to really see it to believe it,” she explained and added: “It was like what in the world. Glass shattered, glass was out here on the floor.”

Among them was Cheryl, a suburban mom who noticed that the temperature of the oven she had purchased three months before was off by about 25 degrees while she baked muffins. This happened during COVID, and once the quarantine was over, she contacted a repairman to fix her oven. Before that, she decided to run a self-cleaning cycle first at the end of which there was a loud explosion, and the inner glass on the oven door shattered.
Similarly, Michelle Wheat’s oven door exploded. Just as Truesdale’s oven, Wheat’s oven wasn’t on at the time of the explosion.
Glass scattered all over the kitchen, and luckily, none of her four children was injured. The Consumer Product Safety Commission has received approximately 450 reports of such incidents since 2019. The ovens in question were from different producers.

The three women encountered difficulties with the manufacturers after the incidents. Truesdale’s oven was under warranty, but still, a Frigidaire technician blamed her for the explosion and forced her to pay for a new door herself. NBC’s intervention led Bosch to replace Cheryl’s oven. Wheat, whose oven was out of warranty, had to pay a technician $100 just to confirm the glass was broken, with the replacement costing another $314.
Frigidaire recommended she buy an extended warranty in case it happened again. Frustrated, Wheat remarked, “This should not have happened. That was the point I was trying to make to them.”
Mark Meshulam of Chicago Window Expert gives an explanation about why these explosions may be taking place. “There are two scenarios of why oven glass can break spontaneously,” he said. “There’s one family of oven glass that is soda lime glass, which is window glass, and it’s heated and cooled rapidly so that it becomes tempered. That’s one type of glass that is used in oven doors. Another type is borosilicate glass. It is more used in laboratory glassware or the old time Pyrex glass, and that one tolerates heat and cold very well. So, the shift to soda lime glass has brought about an increase in these types of breaks because it’s not as tolerant of the thermal cycles that the glass will go through.”

Another possibility is that explosions are caused by a nickel sulfide inclusion, which is a tiny flaw in the glass. “It’s only about a tenth of a millimeter in diameter. That little ball has some strange properties.” Meshulam said, adding, “over time it’s fighting to get out. And sometimes the high heat event like oven cleaning event can bring about that finally that spontaneous failure that was in there.”
He, however, reassures people that the self-cleaning feature of ovens is safe. “Most people will survive their whole lives using the self-cleaning feature and not really encounter this problem,” he said. He also thinks that tiny chips and imperfections are what cause ovens to explode when they aren’t on. This is especially concerning because the door can break long after the original damage happens.
These points of damage are beyond the control of the homeowners because they usually happen during production, shipping, or installation.
Using aggressive cleaning methods and applying excessive physical force can also cause microscopic scratches or chips on the glass.

The photo posted on Mother’s Day by Kate Middleton is still causing a stir because it was unpublished shorty after due to editing.
“Professional photographer here. Look closely at Princess Charlotte’s wrist. This is what happens when you composite layers in Photoshop. I’m not speculating on why the photo was edited like this, but it’s weird,” portrait photographer Martin Bamford wrote on X.
The Princess took “the blame” for manipulating the photo.
On her and William’s official X account, she wrote, “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C.”
Kensington Palace later confirmed it “would not be reissuing the original unedited photograph of Kate and her children.”
The Associated Press, Reuters, Getty Images, and Agence France-Presse all decided to issue “kill notices,” which are advisory notices to remove or not use a specific photo.
“It appears that the source has manipulated the image,” the Associated Press notification read.

They also released a statement, saying, “The Associated Press initially published the photo, which was issued by Kensington Palace. The AP later retracted the image because at closer inspection, it appears that the source had manipulated the image in a way that did not meet AP’s photo standards. The photo shows an inconsistency in the alignment of Princess Charlotte’s left hand.”
According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, the Palace would be under much pressure following the issue with the photo.
“What’s so major in all of this is that four international picture agencies have killed this image. That’s really rare,” Nicholl said.
“I can’t think of a a time since I’ve been doing this job for the best part of 15 years where a royal image has been recalled. So that’s highly unusual. It might force Kensington Palace’s hand.”
Speaking on BBC Radio 4’s Media Show, Phil Chetwynd, AFP’s global news director, said that Kensington Palace is no longer a trusted source.
“No, absolutely not. Like with anything, when you’re let down by a source the bar is raised … We sent out notes to all our teams at the moment to be absolutely super more vigilant about the content coming across our desk — even from what we would call trusted sources,” he said, as reported by Deadline.

He added that kill notices are usually reserved for sources such as North Korea.
“To kill something on the basis of manipulation [is rare. We do it] once a year maybe, I hope less. The previous kills we’ve had have been from the North Korean news agency or the Iranian news agency,” Chetwynd added.
“One thing that’s really important is you cannot be distorting reality for the public. There’s a question of trust. And the big issue here is one of trust, and the lack of trust and the falling trust of the general public in institutions generally and in the media. And so it’s extremely important that a photo does represent broadly the reality that it’s seen in,” he concluded.
The issue with the edited image only added fuel to the fire because both Kate and the Palace have already been accused of not providing information regarding her health and her whereabouts.
Arthur Edwards, The Sun’s royal photographer said the Princess of Wales has learned a “tough and very public lesson” breaking the “golden rule.”

“It’s a golden rule that while you can crop a picture, you never, ever interfere with the image itself. Kate shouldn’t have done it, and she was right to put her hand up and admit to her mistake so quickly,” Edwards said, adding that social media have been overflowing with “disgusting bile and hateful comments about her.”
“Now the conspiracies are flying thick and fast — not that these people need any encouragement. These cheap shots at Kate will be upsetting for her.”
According to some experts, among which Edwards, the Palace could have put a stop to the speculations had they released the unedited version of the photo.
“But of course this comes amid all the speculation as to what’s happening with Kate, who, bar a brief picture yesterday and last week, none of us has seen since December. So many people — myself included — have been eager for an update on the Princess of Wales’s health since she underwent abdominal surgery in January.”
Edwards added, “A bodged attempt at photographic manipulation may have been, but I still think it’s a delightful image. Kate looks radiant and so proud on Mother’s Day, surrounded by her loving kids. It’s full of uplifting love and emotion.”

Speaking to Fox, royal expert Hilary Fordwich said the palace is responsible for what she calls “yet another public relations disaster.”
“The certainty is that a ‘slimmed down monarchy’ means fewer are guiding the royals and those who are aren’t as media savvy as they need to be,” Fordwich said. “In our fast-paced world with tech-savvy media outlets, the palaces need to hire the best and brightest in such fields.
“While this certainly isn’t ‘business as usual’ nor what we would expect from a royal household… it shows great humility to admit one’s mistakes,” Fordwich continued. “Others might have either remained silent or tried to blame another. Kate issued a straight-up, no-nonsense apology. Many could learn a lesson from such.”
The question that raises is whether the Palace is doing enough to protect Kate Middleton, and according to royal expert and author Tom Bower, they are not.

“People around the world just want to bring her down because it gives them pleasure. And then, when she did, they should have got a professional photographer in to make sure there were no hiccups like has now occurred,” Bower told The Sun.
He continued: “She’s undergone the most very serious operation imaginable. She needs a long time to recover. And I fear that she has been under terrible pressure to perform and instead of protecting her, her staff in Kensington Palace, failed to give her the support and protection she needs.”
Further, Bower believes that the Palace’s main focus should be help Kate recover completely instead of releasing more images.
“There are republicans and mischief makers who want to do everything now, to destroy the monarchy, to destroy Britain as it is today, who don’t share our values and see Kate as a soft target, an easy target and another target to seek to undermine British values and British tradition,” he added.
On March 22, Kate Middleton finally put a stop to the conspiracy theories when she posted a video in which she disclosed with the public that she’s receiving treatments for cancer.

Tom’s birthday party was supposed to be a joyous occasion the family was looking forward to, but the day suddenly turned from festive to frosty when a cake that exposed a startling secret was delivered. It caused the room to fall into a stunned silence as Tom’s infidelity was publicly uncovered, leaving the guests in a state of shock.
As the guests started to arrive, laughter and chatter could be heard coming from every corner of the house. It really was going to be a stunning birthday party that would last long into the night, or at least everyone thought so.

In the middle of setting the snack table, Tom’s wife, Ella, heard the door bell. She opened the door just to see a delivery guy handing her a large box with a cheerful “Happy Birthday!” sticker plastered on the side.

Tom was having a lot of fun. Everyone he loved and appreciated was there and he was the center of attention.
He always had a natural charm that made everyone feel welcome. His parents, Jane and Michael, arrived with a homemade pie, their faces beaming with pride and happiness.

They hugged their son’s wife and praised her for organizing everything perfectly. Ella’s friend, Lisa, was also there together with her kids.
When she finally had a moment to slide the mysterious cake into the fridge, curiosity got the best of her and she lifted the lid. There was no birthday message written on it, instead, there was a screenshot of a text conversation.

Trying to figure out the detail’s, Lisa’s voice snapped her back to reality.
“Just trying to make room for everything,” Ella replied.
The words written on the cake troubled her, but she still tried to convince herself it was some sort of joke Tom’s friends pulled on her.
As Tom’s laughter blended with the cheerful conversations of the friends and family, his wife navigated through the crowd, topping off drinks and sharing jokes, but her mind kept wandering back to the strange cake in the fridge, so she decided to take it out and cut it for the guests.
After all, it was just a cake some of Tom’s friends tried to play games with.

Amidst the clapping, laughing, and singing “Happy Birthday,” Ella took off the lid of the cake, and suddenly, the room went silent.

Tom was shocked. He kept switching his sight from the cake to his wife. “Tom, what is this?” she asked loudly.

“Not what it looks like?” Ella raised her voice. “It looks like you’ve been cheating on me, Tom. With Jenna? Who is Jenna?”
“Ella, I can explain,” Tom said as he reached out to his wife, but she refused to be touched.

“I’m sorry,” Tom whispered, but his words seemed empty, drowned out by the resounding echo of his betrayal.
The party ended abruptly, and the reason was that $30 cake with the truth laid bare on it.

The “Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour” has come to an end to the disappointment of many of the The Rocket Man’s fans.
Sir Elton John’s stunning performance on June 8th at the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2023, was the singer’s last ever as a touring artist, as per his website. The tour was supposed to end in 2021 but it was delayed due to the pandemics.
However, although this might seem like the end of an incredibly rich and influential music career, Sir Elton John hinted that he could feature again in some capacity in the future.
Over the course of the years and during his career which has spanned over fifty years, Sir Elton gave the world some brilliant music and unforgettable shows. According to his website, his last tour’s shows were watched by more than 6 million people around the world.
What prompted the decision to retire from touring was John’s wish to spend more time with his husband David Furnish and the couple’s two sons, Elijah and Zachary.

“We had children and had changed our lives and in 2015, we sat down with their school schedule and we said I’m going to miss too much of this,” the Your Song star told Cooper.
As expected, the final tour date was a very special occasion involving many emotions. It marked the end of one of the most successful careers in the world of music.
In a Monday Instagram post, Sir Elton wrote: “When we set off on my final tour in 2018, I couldn’t have foreseen in my wildest dreams the twists and turns and the highs and lows this tour – and the whole world – would have experienced in the next 5 years.
“And every step of the way, my fans have been there. You have stuck with me, you have supported me, you have been patient and you have kept turning out for every single last show.

“Saturday night was magical. I’m trying to process it and I don’t think it will sink in for a while yet that I’m finally finished touring.
“I can’t tell you how much I’m going to miss you all and how much your support has humbled me – it will stay with me forever.”
His last tour show in Sweden featured four dazzling costumes. The 77-year-old addressed the crowds on the night, telling them: “You have no idea how much that means to me,” recalling his first ever performance in Sweden in 1971, more than 50 years ago.
“I’ve had the most incredible career, beyond words. How fortunate am I to be able to play music for 52 years?” John told the audience as he finished his concert with “Your Song” and “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.”
“But, you know, if it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be sitting here talking to you. You bought the singles, albums, CDs, and cassettes, but more importantly, you bought the concert tickets, and you know how much I enjoy performing live.”
As his final show was coming to an end, Sir Elton reminded his fans that they will remain in his “head, heart and soul,” saying once again he will “never be touring again.”
The world will miss Sir Elton John’s tours.

At the time the public learned of then-prince Charles’ affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, she became the most hated person in Britain. At one point, she was even afraid to go out in public.
However, as time passed by, the people of Britain learned to love Camilla, and today, she’s a very important part of the family. What’s most, she’s loved by many.
Charles and Camilla were introduced to each other by a mutual friend, Lucia Santa Cruz, the daughter of the Chilean ambassador, at a polo match. They started dating in 1972, but the relationship didn’t last long as Charles left to serve in the Royal Navy. When his duties there came to an end and he returned home, Camilla was already engaged to her now-ex husband Andrew Parker Bowles.
However, they never stopped being close. Even when Charles married Diana, he and Camilla stayed in touch.
Royal author Penny Junior claimed that Charles was aware he wasn’t in love with his future wife Diana, but it was already too late for him to call off the wedding.
“Charles was not convinced he was doing the right thing in marrying Diana but there was no way out and, bolstered by the hope that things would be different once they were married, he put a brave face on it,” she wrote, as reported by the Mirror.
What’s most, Camilla and Diana knew each other and got along, but then things changed.
“I met [Camilla] very early on. I was introduced to the circle, but I was a threat, I was a very young girl, but I was a threat,” Diana explained in the book Diana: In Her Own Words.
The love affair between Charles and Camilla started in 1986, according to Prince Charles’ authorized biography, as quoted by Town & Country. At the time, Charles was still married to Princess Diana and she eventually became aware that her husband was cheating on her.
Diana even confronted Camilla once, but nothing changed.

Speaking of the troubles in her marriage and the reasons for its failure, Diana told Martin Bashir during a televised interview, “Well, there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.”
Charles and Diana separated in 1992 and their divorce was finalized four years later.
Just months after Charles and Diana formally separated, the press published a full transcript of a telephone call between the then-future King and Camilla.
The phone call revealed an intimate and sexual exchange between the couple, which became known as Tampongate.

When she was married to her first husband, Camilla had a regular job. According to the Mirror, she worked as a secretary at several firms in London’s West End area and later as a receptionist at Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler in Mayfair. She studied at Dubrells School in Sussex and Queen’s Gate School in South Kensington before finishing school at Institut Britannique in Paris, where she studied English and French Literature.
In the book On The Fringe—A Life In Decorating, designer Imogen Taylor, who was a colleague at the interior design firm Colefax and Fowler, where the queen used to work, remembered a time when a young Camilla arrived late to work after a night of partying.
Taylor claimed Camilla was then yelled at and fired.
In 2016, she told the Sunday Times: “There were lots of debutantes working for us, even Camilla. She worked for us for a moment but got the sack.”
“He would shout and bellow so the whole building heard every word. The Duchess of Cornwall was one assistant who fell victim to one of tantrums. I think she came in late, having been to a dance,” Taylor recalled their boss’s temperament.

Speaking of the current role Queen Camilla has taken upon herself, royal expert Angela Levin said Camilla is “holding the royal family up.”
“I mean, to wait till you’re 73 is a long time before you can take the crown. I think obviously, at his age, it’s very difficult, but he’s very determined, and he’s only really just started to be king,” Levin said while appearing on GB News. “Supporting him very much, absolutely by his side, is Queen Camilla, who is going to all the engagements that they would have gone to together on her own.”
“And so that way he will feel it’s still moving, it’s still running, and they can discuss it and talk about it. And I think that’s marvelous. I mean, she is holding the Royal Family up and being strong. If you imagine 30 years ago, people were saying the whole Royal Family would absolutely disintegrate, and she would be of no use.”
Although it is known that Camilla doesn’t want to be under the spotlight, she’s doing an excellent job while meeting with the public.
“To support her husband. She understands him very well because they’ve been together for over 50 years, before they even got married. it’s a long time and they make each other laugh,” Levin added.

Royal expert and former royal correspondent Charles Rae praised the queen for supporting King Charles and Kate Middleton in this troublesome time, calling her a “remarkable asset,” adding that Camilla is “one of the best things to happen to the Royal Family” in a “good number of years.”
“There’s no question about it, she stepped into the breach. She’s got everything on her shoulders with what’s going on, and she’s taking on even more work,” royal expert Charles Rae said.
“Everywhere she goes, she has got a cheery smile on and a happy face. She says the right things. She has proved to be a remarkable asset to the Royal Family, given the allegations that at one time she had bread rolls thrown at her in a supermarket car park.”
Rae concluded, “I remember her when she was the most hated woman in Britain. I’ve met her several times and she’s charming, she’s witty, she’s really nice to chat to, and certainly when she’s chatting to people, she has done her homework as to who she’s chatting to.”

Daily Mail’s royal correspondent, Rebecca English, told Town & Country Magazine there was a “very different situation” when Camilla joined the royal family and the present.
“They decided the way to do it wasn’t to ‘sell her’. They concluded that the best way to move things forward was to just let her be herself and let people see for themselves what she is actually really like.”

Billy Bob Thornton abruptly leaving his fiancée, actress Laura Dern, for another woman made headlines back in the day. Dern was among those caught by surprise. Her life suddenly turned upside-down and she needed time to recover from the shock she experienced.
Speaking of Thornton’s decision to marry Angelina Jolie, who was twenty years his junior, Dern said caused a detour in her relationship plans.
As per E! Online, Thornton and Dern started dating in 1997, shortly after she separated from Jeff Goldblum and while he was still in the process of divorcing his fourth wife, Pietra Dawn Cherniak.
Thornton and Jolie, who was quite wild back in the 1990s, met on the set of Pushing Tin in 1999, unaware that they would be tying the knot just months later. While Thornton was engaged to Dern, Jolie was in a relationship with Timothy Hutton. In May, the couple made their marriage official with the help of a minister in L.A. At the time, Jolie was 24.
Their relationship was a fascinating one and attracted the attention of many.
During the first year of marriage, the two went over the top with their public displays of affection: Jolie tattooed his name on her, they wore vials of each other’s blood around their necks, and engaged in excessive PDA. However, their relationship didn’t last long, with trouble arising in less than two years.
Speaking to InStyle, Dern reflected on her sudden break-up with Thornton and said, “I left our home to work on a movie, and while I was away, my boyfriend got married, and I’ve never heard from him again.”
In a 2021 interview, Thornton expressed regret but never openly admitted to any wrongdoing, as reported by The Mirror.
“Others may say that you left our girl and married someone else. But it made me happy and somebody else happy. I’m sorry it caused pain,” he was reported to have said.
As reported by Yahoo, Dern and Jolie had a prior connection from when Dern babysat Jolie in their younger years, adding an unexpected twist to the story.
Bruce Dern, Laura’s father, recollected that period. Bruce remarked, alluding to the 1978 film Coming Home, “Jon Voight’s a friend of mine, so I remember Laura babysat one night for Angelina when Angelina was 2 and Laura about 8 … because Jon and I were doing Coming Home. They were staying over at [director] Hal Ashby’s house, so they asked [Laura] to come over [to watch Angie].”
Following the sudden breakup, Dern received support from her friend Melissa Etheridge who helped her during the process of moving out of the house she shared with Thornton.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on his SiriusFM radio show, Etheridge said, “I was around when Angelina was not doing nice things with Billy Bob to Laura Dern. I went through that on a personal level, and then to know the side of Jennifer and Brad. I helped Laura move out of her house with Billy Bob — I like broke into their home to get their stuff out because it was so nasty.”
Eventually, Dern married Ben Harper, with whom she had two children, and has recently been connected to former NBA star Baron Davis.
Thornton divorced Jolie in 2002 and has stopped dating celebrities ever since. In 2014, he married puppeteer Connie Angland.

Yesterday, I encountered a rather amusing situation. I had arranged a secret getaway with my mistress to a hotel, seeking a break from the routine of daily life. However, much to my surprise, as we approached the entrance, I noticed my father-in-law’s car parked there.

Instantly, any inclination for our plan vanished. Aware that being seen by my father-in-law would spell trouble, I promptly informed my mistress that our plan was canceled. Understandably, she felt let down.
Frustrated, I decided to go home, but on the way there, I broke the mirrors of my father-in-law’s car.
The following day, I visited my father-in-law just to see how he felt about the mirrors and if he was even mention anything about it.
