Dad Creates DIY ‘Monster Spray’ For His Daughter

It’s an undeniable fact that there is no such power on Earth as the father-daughter love. It’s so cute how daddies would do anything for their sweet little angels, even when they are all grown up. Making sure they are safe and sound is always a number one priority.

Talking about dads, I guess it’s safe to say they are the real life superheroes.

Mya is an adorable girl who faces the fears most kids her age do, the one from monsters. How come these tiny smarty pants be afraid of something that doesn’t really exist? Well, we know they are not real, but explaining it to the children can be a bit difficult.

Nowadays there are quite a lot of fun movies and cartoons featuring cute monsters so that kids get rid of the ones in their head, but sometimes that doesn’t help either.

YouTube

While most other dads will check for the big scary creatures under the bed or inside the closet telling their kids there are none any to be spotted and then just ask them to go to sleep, Aaron Wilson knows better and has an ingenious plan on how to turn that fear into a fun activity.

YouTube

When interviewed by CTV News, Aaron told them more about Mya’s fears.

“At night time, she was always saying there are monsters in her room. There was something here, there was something there.”

He started getting concern and knew he had to do something regarding his daughter’s fears when he realized it really affected her sleeping at night. She was restless and constantly looking around instead of being sound asleep during the night.

He got her a prescription monster spray from the local pharmacy that she could use to get rid of all of the monsters! Isn’t this the ultimate and most entertaining fighting weapon? He even glued the prescription on the bottle so it looks real.

As you may be guessing, the inside of the ‘magic monster chaser’ was filled with water.

Turns out it helped the cutie pie get rid of the scary creatures and it also caught the attention of other parents whose kids are facing the same issue. The pharmacy now gets many requests for the famous monster spray.

The pharmacist really liked Aaron’s idea and told CTV News:

“I thought it was really cute and I said that is a neat idea and I hope it works!”

“We’ve been trying to tell her for a while, they’re trying to be your friends and not to worry.”

Salesman in Costco is Joined For an Adele Duet and Goes Viral

Some people are lucky to be gifted with special skills. We know of very famous singers, actors, or maybe football players, who are the best at what they do, and they do it with ease. Sometimes, watching them singing, or playing, makes us believe we can rock it as well, but as soon as we try we figure out it requires a lot of practice to master it, or simply a raw God-given talent.

It’s always a pleasure to learn how these people are getting a chance in life to make an impression, either by attending some talent shows, or casually showing off at the local Costco store. Yes, you’ve heard that right.

One such case is when a customer and a salesman sat down on the piano for an amazing duet of “Someone Like You.”

Once they started playing, many of the customers approached and were wowed by what they were seeing and hearing. Luckily, someone though of capturing this adorable duet on video so that we can enjoy it too. They sound so good that a father and a son could be spotted dancing in the background.

The video was initially posted on YouTube a couple of years ago, but it’s so captivating that it vent viral again. Well, it’s not everyday that we witness a live piano concert at a store. People from all around the world are adding comments with words of praise. Although some kids could be heard playing on other pianos, it doesn’t  make the whole experience less magical.

The girl from the video says how this was one of the best days of her life. She even made some more videos of playing the piano after a huge number of people witnessed her talent.

Costco seem to be the place of inspiration, because this wasn’t the first time someone to be spotted playing the piano there. The video shows a young boy playing a song from memory, and it’s amazing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0phAtbIf8A#action=share

The boy’s performance has been seen more than two million times and people sometimes joke how this store might be the perfect place to be noticed and become a star. But it looks like these talent discovering situations can be seen in other similar places where lots of people go in and out, such as Wal-Mart. Maybe you remember young Mason Ramsey who was seen yodeling at one of these stores.

He became so famous that even Ellen hosted him in one of her shows.

There is another similar story coming from Paris. This didn’t happen at any store but a real magic unfolded in front of the eyes of the passersby when a random stranger approached the man playing and asks to join in. The final result is so good that it’s a must watch.

Then there is this random guy who masters Jerry Lewis’ “Whole Lotta Shaking Going On” at a hardware store.

I wish I have the chance to stumble upon a performance of this kind while doing my groceries. I guess it’s sort of amazing to witness someone unfolding their talent right in front of you.

I hope this article and all these stories will inspire you to show your skills, of course if you have them!

Jenna Shares Heartbreaking Confession From Grandpa George

Our beloved former president Geogre W. Bush left this world recently and we are yet to understand his true greatness as a politician who had done a lot for our country, and as an emotional human being who never got over the grief for the loss of his young daughter.

The relationship and the marriage of George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara was indeed one-of-a-kind. They had been through so much during the seven decades of married life and raised five children together. They welcomed six into the world, but in 1953 a tragedy struck the Bush family when their daughter Robin was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of three.

The passing of little Robin affected George’s life. He would often write letters to family members, particularly his mother, expressing how he felt regarding the tragic loss.

In the wake of his death, the Bush library released one of the letters the President addressed to his mother back in 1958 saying how they still felt Robin’s presence, even years after her death. The bereaved parents found a little comfort in their mission to fight against cancer “for the rest of their lives.”

“There is about our house a need. We need some soft blonde hair to offset those crew cuts. We need a dollhouse to stand firm against our forts and racquets and thousand baseball cards. We need someone who’s afraid of frogs. We need a little one who can kiss without leaving egg or jam or gum. We need a girl. We had one once — she’d fight and cry and play and make her way, just like the rest. But there was about her a certain softness. She was patient. Her hugs were a just little less wiggly. We need her and yet we have her. We can’t touch her and yet we can feel her. We hope she’ll stay in our house for a long, long time.”

Editorial cartoonist Marshall Ramsey decided to honor the late president with a drawing of George arriving to Heaven holding hands with the two great loves of his life. The picture portrays Barbara welcoming her husband saying “We waited for you.”

Months before George reunited with his beloved wife and daughter, he spoke to his granddaughter Jenna Bush Hagar, telling her how he wasn’t afraid of dying any longer, but somehow looking forward to meet Barbara and Robin again.

Jenna shared her grandfather thoughts right after his passing along with the cartoon drawing that provided her with comfort. She truly believes that’s exactly where he is.

“Well, when I die, I’m going to be reunited with the people I’ve lost. I hope I see Robin, and I hope I see my mom. I haven’t yet figured out if it will be Robin as the three year old that she was, this kind of chubby, vivacious child or if she’ll come as a middle-aged woman, an older woman… I hope she’s the three-year-old.”

He was a great man who had sorrow in his heart. Now the whole nation mourns the loss of a beloved president and person.

Our condolences go to his family. He will never be forgotten!

Mom Fears That 2-Year-Old Won’t Recognize Her Soldier Dad

Being in the military means being a hero to a whole nation of people who understand and appreciate your courage and your sacrifice. It also means risking your life and very often being far from your loved ones. These men and women don’t have it easy.

I guess the best part of their service abroad are the sweet reunions once they get back home.

Now if you believe you’ve seen emotional encounters of soldiers and their families, wait until you see this tear-jerking homecoming.

Sergeant Brenden Taylor and his wife Amanda are proud parents of two adorable girls. But, only nine months after their second child was born, Sgt. Taylor was deployed.

Amanda and the girls missed him so much, and couldn’t wait for him to be back home. They know their brave husband and father thinks of them all the time, and loves them with all his heart.

However, Amanda was left to take care of the kids all by herself. She felt as though she couldn’t do it any longer, and wanted her husband by her side. But, her main concern was that once he is home, their older daughter, who is 2,5 years old may not remember him or recognize him after so much time.

This mother recalls the day her husband left the country, and how their daughter was puzzled about where her daddy went and why he wasn’t there to embrace her and comfort her while she suffered from a stomach bug.

Realizing how deeply the father’s absence affected her daughter broke Amanda’s heart into pieces, so she did her best to cheer the girls up every single day.

She knew that negativity wouldn’t help anyone, so she tried to turn those feelings around. The creative mother even came up with a brilliant idea of how to make the waiting ‘more bearable’ by creating many fun games of counting the days of Brenden’s homecoming.

The big moment of the so much-anticipated reunion was coming closer. After long 175 days, Sgt. Taylor would finally get to hold their daughters in his arms. This was going to be a moment to remember. Assuming this, Amanda hired a professional photographer to immortalize the sweet encounter so they could cherish it forever.

As the family was impatiently waiting, a bus full of marines approached. Amanda’s fears faded away and she set her mind at rest as their daughter recognized a familiar face among the heroes who were all eager to meet those who made them endure even the hardest battles.

The little girl shouted ‘Daddy, get off the bus!’ with excitement and a smile so big that it covered her whole tiny face.

Running right into daddy’s arms, the family was now together again. Everyone was having a blast as they had the sweetest and most heartwarming group hug we’ve ever seen.

“I don’t think I’ve ever witnessed a smile from my husband like I did that day when he finally got his little girls in his arms again,” Amanda said. “Deployments end, love doesn’t.”

Photographer Maddie Short has filmed plenty of beautiful moments, but she says that homecomings such as this one will always hold a special place in her heart.

“Homecomings hold such a special place in my heart but this family, in particular, is one of the reasons why I love shooting homecomings so much!,” she wrote on Facebook.

“175 days away from everything you know and the people you love most! I couldn’t be more excited for this little family! Welcome home, Sgt Taylor! Your girls sure did miss you!”

4-yr-old boy has had enough of shoveling snow so he sends Jesus a hilarious message that’s winning the internet

No matter how much we love winter and all the fun that comes along with this cool season, we sometimes get stuck into the piles of snow and don’t feel like going out on the cold weather. I guess many opt for the coziness of the home over the outdoors. However, this isn’t usually the case with young kids.

For the little ones, winter is the ultimate time of the year. They associate it with Christmas and the fun they have while building the most favorite snowman.

The kid from the video below got fed up with spending the days inside the house and begged his mother to let him enjoy the snow. She said yes, dressed him in some warm clothes, and the two started an adventure.

However, what happened once he was out makes everyone burst out laughing. Luckily, the mom had her camera and managed to capture her son’s goofy moment.

More than one million people got to enjoy the hilarious request this kiddo asked from Jesus. If you think he wanted a present such as a sledge, skis, or other equipment to make his time on the snow more enjoyable, you are wrong.

It appeared that he didn’t really like the winter as he first thought so he looked up the sky and begged for some warmer weather.

His mom started laughing really hard and though it would be nice if she share the innocent moment with the rest of us, and we are glad she did it.

Check the video below to see how he did it.

Men Of Celtic Thunder Wow Audience With Hallelujah Performance

With all the excitement of wrapping presents, decorating the Christmas tree, the cards in the mail, stockings full with presents, and everything that goes along with the holiday season, we sometimes forget what Christmas is really all about.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year that celebrates the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ, and his love for us. So it’s the perfect time to show your family and friends how much they mean to you and how lucky you are to have them in your life.

Every once in a while we are treated by amazing performances of songs whose lyrics remind us to focus on the real reasons of the celebration. The latest performance leaves us speechless for it might be the most powerful rendition of late Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” by the eclectic Irish singing group Celtic Thunder.

YouTube

This group’s concerts and live shows are best known for the theatrical style and the visual effects. Damian McGinty the group vocalist told AXS that what they do and how they tour together is a dream come true.

McGinty said:

“Every day you get to travel to a new and different city, but every night you have to do the same task –deliver a high standard of performance. So on a daily basis, it’s never the same, but at the same time, you have to continue to challenge yourself…

Our musical director, David Munro, brings a wealth of material and knowledge. He has a big say in creating what goes into the shows and records. David knows our voices and only picks material that he knows we can deliver both as individuals and as an ensemble. But there’s no magic formula. You start by stripping it all back to the fundamentals and then building the foundation from the ground up. That means getting all of the guys around the piano and determining which voice part works best for each person…”

YouTube

“Celtic Thunder has really grown and has turned into something that has its own life. It allows artists to be individuals as well as challenges them to come together as an ensemble piece. It’s something we’re all very passionate about. We’ve only done a few shows for this tour but it’s already been incredible and the reaction has been outstanding.”

Singing “Hallelujah” in the video below is so emotional that is may bring you to tears. The members’ unique voices blend together in such a perfect harmony that will make you fall in love with the heavenly melody and the hauntingly beautiful performance.

Thank you, Celtic Thunder for treating us with such powerful emotions.

Ellen Plays Best Prank Ever On Giving Elementary School Teacher

I’ve recently came across a nice saying one of my teacher friends posted that goes “Sometimes I wonder if I have made the right decision becoming a teacher, but then I remember no other job allows you to watch tiny humans grow into amazing people because you never gave up on them,” and honestly, it made me realize how special, caring, and compassionate one has to be in order to become a teacher.

Joe Dombrowski is one of those educators that makes a difference in the life of his students by creating fun and engaging lessons that encourage them to always strive for more and become good people. All this makes him feel beyond happy for being a teacher.

Mr. D became famous because of his brilliant idea to prank his students by giving them a spelling test using extremely difficult words they’ve never heard before. He knew this was going to be fun, but never though the amusing footage could go viral and make so many people laugh. It even caught the attention of our favorite host and ultimate prankster Ellen DeGeneres.

YouTube

Mr. D, as his students like to call him, told NBC 25 that when he posted the clip he never assumed it would be seen nearly six million times. He believes that’s huge and explains how getting the call from Ellen blew him away.

“I woke up the next morning and there were a million views and then the next day there were 20 million views, and I have Ellen on the other line in a week so never did I ever think it would turn in to what I’m doing today.”

Ellen invited Mr. D on the show and though it would be nice if she plays a prank on him, after which she handed him a check for $10,000. It didn’t really come as surprise when we learned how the kind-hearted teacher decided to spend all of the money for the school.

He later told NBC 25 the reason behind this decision, saying:

“I like to say teachers do the best work when we work with each other and there are so many teachers around the world sharing their craft to help other teachers get better and give the best to our students who are really why we are doing what we are doing.”

YouTube

The compassionate educator didn’t fail to amaze us again by putting his students and their needs before his own. This made Ellen invite him to the show once again and do another prank. Mr. D was stunned to see all of his students on the set of the show.

Once he saw them coming, he knew Ellen was up to something.

The show turned into a never ending series of amazing surprises. This really lift the holiday spirit and once again reminded us that Christmas is all about loving each other. Take a look at the videos of Mr. D’s appearances on The Ellen Show and remember that sharing is caring.

Make sure you surprise someone you love this season.

Clydesdale Christmas TV Clip From 1987 Is Full Of Holiday Magic

Nothing speaks Christmas as the companies’ commercials that remind us the most exciting and most fun-filling holiday is approaching. Even though there are those who tend to launch creative and captivating ads, there is still one which is oldie but a goldie and never fails to warm our hearts. It’s the 1987 Budweiser’s ad featuring the magnificent Clydesdales.

These adorable and gracious creatures that are the face of the company somehow became synonymous with the holiday season throughout the years.

This one is a real classic that will take you back into the time when life was quite different, but the Christmas euphoria remains always the same.

We hope this season you’ll have a real blast and unforgettable time with the ones you love. And as this ad says, ‘wishing you the very best!’
