Simon Cowell has used so much Botox over the years that he’s now left with “permanently sad” face, experts say

The music industry would have never been what it is today had it not been for Simon Cowell. It is him that we should thank for some of the most popular names among musicians, including Leona Lewis and the boy band One Direction, just to name a few.

He started his career as a music producer, consultant, and scout during the 80’s, but came to public prominence in 2001 as a judge on Pop Idol. The show was a huge success, so Simon went a step further and created The X Factor and Got Talent franchises which are extremely popular in a huge number of countries throughout the world.

In 2004 and 2010, Time named Cowell one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

He’s been married to wife Lauren Silverman since 2013 and the two have one son together.

During the past period, Simon suffered two accidents. First, he fell off the stairs, and recently, he fell off the electric bike. Sadly, he injured his back severely and had to undergo a six-hour surgery. He, however, is feeling fine right now.

In attempt to express his gratitude to the well-wishers, Simon posted on Twitter giving them advise to be extra cautious with their electric bikes and read the manual thoroughly.

However, it is Simon Cowell’s face, which changed drastically over the years, that has people talking. It is not a secret that the music producer and businessman used Botox in the past, but his fans believe that he exaggerated and is now left with a permanently sad facial expression.

He first opened up about the non-surgical “sewing bioplastic-infused thread” facelift he had when speaking to Hello! back in 2018.

“There’s lots of things you can do now. You don’t just have to stuff your face with filler and Botox,” Cowell said. “It hurts like hell but it gets rid of sun damage and unplugs all the crap. For me now, it’s all about having clean skin. If you have clean skin, you look better. But you have to be very careful with some of this stuff.”

Although he’s satisfied with the way he looks, Simon does confess that he probably went a bit far. “Hopefully I look better now — I probably did have a little too much Botox a couple of years ago, because everyone on TV has it,” he said.

“Now I have facials, but nothing too extravagant at the moment. I have a girl who comes here and does a great face massage — it’s very relaxing. I also had a sheep placenta facial once, which was quite out there.”

Speaking to the Mirror and recalling the past years, Cowell said: “All of us are like, ‘Christ, we had a lot that year. Not so much that year… maybe a bit too much that year.’”

“You know, the old clips of us are hysterical. Amanda’s [co-star AmandaHolden on Britain’s Got Talents] always like, ‘What was I thinking?’ I said, ‘Well, I don’t look a lot better.’ I look all right now, but certain years it was like, ‘Wow,’ I don’t know what was going on.”

Some doctors and experts called out Cowell for using too much Botox. Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn said in 2019, “I think he’s had some bad Botox. If Botox is injected too far out on the side of the forehead, it can cause the forehead and eyebrows to droop.” Many agree that the way his face looks today is so much different than it did before.

Aesthetic injector Kristina Kitsos also commented on Cowell’s looks and told Radar Online: “Simon Cowell has had too much botox in the lateral forehead, causing the sides of his eyebrows to droop down like that. I strongly advise my clients to do a little and add to it if necessary, therefore they look rested and natural. This is definitely a case where less would have been more.”

Recently, TV host and presenter Maya Jama shared a photo with Cowell in which he’s seen with a huge smile on his face.

“From watching talent shows made by this man growing up to hosting one myself on big bloody ITV is honestly a dream I don’t wanna get all deep on here but the journey has been a mad one & I am so so grateful for the opportunity and excited for this next chapter,” a part of the caption read.

Apparently, Maya Jama will be working with Simon Cowell on his new ITV show Walk The Line.

Teacher changes her hairstyle to support bullied girl

Being a teacher means being there for your students every step of the way. It truly takes a special heart to help shape little minds.

Here are five extraordinary teachers who went above and beyond for the well-being of their students. They are such an inspiration.

1. A little girl at teacher Ana Bárbara Ferreira’s classroom was made fun of because of her usual hairstyle; two cute hair buns. The sweet girl was devastated and told her teacher how her classmates didn’t like her hair, so Ferreira decided to do the same hairstyle the following day. When the girl noticed her teacher’s hair, she was over the moon. She approached Ferreita and told her, “Today, I’m as beautiful as you are.”

2. Teacher ShaRee Castlebury from Lawton, Oklahoma, was about to say goodbye to her students as the end of the school year was approaching. She felt emotional, so she decided to give her students a very unique project to work on.

Namely, she brought one of her dresses to school and asked the pupils to get creative and paint on it. The young students drew a bunch of beautiful things, including messages for their teacher.

On the last day of school, Castebury wore the dress and left everyone in awe.

3. The father-daughter dance nights are a big deal for many little girls. Most of them can’t wait to attend those meaningful events together with their daddies. For one girl named Kaylee Nance from Trautwein Elementary School in St. Louis, Missouri, the father-daughter dance brought heartbreak because her father is no longer around.

Not wanting her to feel sad, one of her teachers, Tim Bianco, offered to be her date. They wore matching outfits and had the time of their life.

Kaylee was so happy she didn’t miss out the dance. Her favorite teacher stepping in filled her heart with joy.

“I just want her to feel loved and cared about,” teacher Bianco said.

4. Teacher Bri Dredge from Australia competed in a show and ended up winning $20,000. With that much money, she could buy anything she wanted for herself and her family, and she did, but before that, she bought each and every student from her class brand new leather shoes to help them get through the winter.

5. Virginia Davis, a 17 year old student from Whitesboro, New York, was born with just one thumb and another partial finger on one of her hands. She felt different and had a hard time performing some things using that hand.

Luckily, her technology teacher decided to do something very beautiful for her. He managed to design an artificial hand for Davis.

The design only cost $30 to make, which is far less than what those things cost. Some companies sell them for $30,000 so Davis is lucky she has such a caring and smart teacher in her life.

Whether they like it or not, the children of the celebrities are always under the spotlight as people and the media are interested to know what they do, who they hang out with, and a bunch of other things related to their private life. Some celebs are doing all in their power to protect their kids’ privacy, but that’s not an easy thing to do.

Ever since business mogul Donald Trump became the president of the U.S.A, his children, including Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr., could be seen following his every step. They were involved in the campaign, helped him during his presidency, and were by his side when he delivered his speech before he left the White House. Well, everyone except for his youngest child, Barron Trump.

Barron, who is now 15 years old, lived in the White House during the four years his father ran the country, but he couldn’t be seen in public very often. In fact, it has been reported by a number of media outlets that he wasn’t allowed to speak in public without his mother’s approval.

Barron was born in 2006, the same year when Donald and Melania tied the knot. He grew up in the Trump Tower in Manhattan, where he is reported to have an entire floor for himself. Although he has lived surrounded by luxury, he never had a traditional nanny while growing up. Instead, Melania took all the care of him, and that included preparing him breakfast and lunch every day.

In the past, she spoke of him as a very creative child. In a 2015 People interview, she said: “Barron is 9 years old. He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time as you know my husband is traveling all the time.”

“We keep it down to a minimum,” Trump added. “If you have too much help, you don’t get to know your children.”

They let his creativity grow and never limit him when it comes to his interests. Speaking to Parenting, as quoted by Metro, Melania said: “In his space, the décor style of the rest of our home is mixed with what he is into: planes and helicopters.

“We let him be creative; let his imagination fly and do whatever he wants. Whatever he wants to do with his own room later on, he can do it. Whatever he wants to do with his own room he can do it. He draws on the walls, we can paint it over.

“When he was smaller, he started drawing on the walls,” she added. “His imagination is growing and important. He draws on the walls in his playroom, we can paint it over. One day he was playing bakery and he wrote ‘Barron’s Bakery’ on the wall with crayons. He is very creative, if you say to a child ‘no, no, no,’ where does the creativity go?”

At the time Donald Trump became a president, Barron was attending the prestigious Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School in New York. As his mother didn’t want him to attend a new school, she and Barron stayed in The Big Apple for six months before they moved to the White House. Once in Washington, Barron was enrolled at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland. Before that, all of the presidents’ children attended Sidwell Friends instead.

Now that the family moved to Florida, it has been reported that Barron will likely attend the Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale.

Recent photos of him left the public stunned. Although he’s only 15, Barron is already the tallest member of the Trump family. Reportedly, he’s 6 feet 7 inches tall and he looks very handsome.

Just recently, Trump spoke of his son’s height and said jokingly: “Barron is 6-foot-7, can you believe it? And he’s 15. Eric is short — he’s only 6-foot-6,” as reported per the New York Post.

Being the son of Donald Trump, we are yet to hear about Barron in the future.

Dolly Parton’s fans went crazy over a photo of her showing her natural hair

Country music legend Dolly Parton isn’t just a blond bombshell whose incredible looks mesmerized millions over the years, but also a strong woman with an incredible personality with a sense of humor and a big heart who has always spoken openly about everything in her life. And that is one of the reasons why her career spans that many years.

Besides her incredible singing talent, it’s her hairstyle that became her trademark.

The singer, songwriter, businesswoman, and humanitarian, among the rest, admits she wears wigs. And we think they suit her perfectly.

“I used to try to keep my own hair teased as big as I like it, and having the bleach and all of that, it just broke off,” the star told Hallmark’s Home & Family hosts Mark Steines and Cristina Ferrare. “I thought, ‘Why am I going through all that? Why don’t I just wear wigs? That way, I never have a bad hair day! I have a big hair day, but not a bad hair day.”

Dolly wrote in her book Songteller: My Life in Lyrics how she always dreamed of being able to buy hairpieces when she was a young girl. And today, she can afford all the wigs and hairpieces she wants. “I always wore my hair all teased up. Whenever that style started, I was the first to get my hair all poofy. Then as soon as I could buy those hairpieces and wigs, I wanted them.”

Just recently, the superstar posted a black and white photo of herself from her younger days with her natural hair. Needless to say, her fans went crazy over that. “In case you’re wondering, yes, that’s my real hair,” Dolly wrote.

Dolly and husband Carl Thomas Dean have been married for 50 years, but we don’t know much about him as he’s trying to keep himself out of the spotlight. The singer wrote about him in her book and described him as a romantic person. She even recalled how he hugged her so tight when she went to visit him at the army base in Georgia back in the day that her wig fell off. “He squeezed, hugged and kissed me so hard that he knocked my wig off.”

This is what Adam Rich from “Eight is Enough” looks like today

Becoming a celebrity from very early age can take its toll eventually. This is especially true for young actors who experience fame early in life. Some of them continue their careers in the movie industry, while others can’t put up with that way of life which requires long working hours and a lot of sacrifice.

If you have seen “Eight is Enogh,” the first ever TV show dubbed “dramedy,” chances are you remember sweet Nicholas, who became known as “America’s little brother.”

Played by Adam Rich, the role of Nicholas became widely accepted by the fans who predicted a successful career for the little actor. The truth is that after this show, Adam didn’t have a breakthrough and quit acting in 2003, when he appeared in front of cameras for one last time in the comedy Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, produced by Adam Sandler.

Adam fell in love with acting from very early age. His parents very very supportive and helped him get a number of gigs in various commercials. Then, one day, Adam came across an ad by ABC saying they were looking for someone his age for a new TV show Eight is Enough. He wanted to try his luck and auditioned for the role of Nicholas.

There were plenty of young boys who dreamed of getting the role, but Adam was the perfect fit. Speaking of the audition, Adam told The Charlotte Observer in 1978. ”Well, when I went in for an interview – you know how we always play football in the show? Well, I told them a story about when I used to play football, and I think that probably did it.”

The show portrayed the life of newspaper editor Tom Braden who raised eight children. It involved both comedy and drama and was extremely popular, capturing the attention of millions of fans.

Many of the actors who were part of it found their place under the Hollywood sky, including Mark Hamill who portrayed Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars trilogy, and Ralph Macchio who later became known as the Karate Kid. However, that wasn’t the case with Adam. Over time, he found it harder and harder to get a role and experienced some tough time which forced him into rehab several times.

One of his friends from Eight is Enough, Dick Van Patten, who played the patriarch Tom Bradford, bailed Adam out of jail in 1991. He was charged with shoplifting.

”Adam was wildly popular (on ‘Eight is Enough), … and then he had a lot of trouble getting roles,” Van Patten told UPI. ”‘He’s short, he’s in that awkward stage where he’s not as cute as he used to be, so he’s difficult to cast.’”

Other than Eight is Enough, Adam also starred in The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, The Six Million Dollar Man, and in one episode of Baywatch in 1993.

Professor babysits single mother’s kids so she can finish her exam

I have a feeling that as time passes by, people are becoming more and more self-centered. Stories of kindness are not as common as they once were, so stumbling upon any makes our heart smile.

Being a mom is one of the most demanding jobs. Despite the care they take for their children and the home many work regular jobs and attend university so they don’t have it easy. That is why we should do our best in order to make this world a much comfortable place for these special people.

Monica Romero is a 28-year-old single mother of two. At the same time, she’s part of the military and attends the University of Louisville. This Army ROTC student moved to Kentucky from South Korea where she served in order to pursue a bachelor’s degree.

She was about to take her last exam and arranged for a babysitter to take care of her kids, but then, in the last minute, the sitter canceled. Monica didn’t know what to do, but a friend of hers advised her to take her kids with her at the university. Although that sounded like a bad idea, it was the only thing she could do.

As she was going to the university, she prayed for Mikayla, five, and Marcus, four, to behave.

During the first couple of minutes the kids stood still in the hallway, but then Marcus came to the classroom and knocked on the door. Monica was sure she would be asked to leave the class, but just the opposite happened. When the professor, Dr. Daniel Krebs, spotted the kids, he told Monica he would play with them so that she could finish her test.

This man with a heart of gold entertained Mikayla and Marcus for 45 minutes.

Once this lovely story was shared online, along with a photo of Dr. Krebs, he was dubbed a hero. He, however, believed that what he did was just a common sense and that the real hero here was Monica.

Lady Gaga reveals she wore a “bulletproof dress” to Biden’s Inauguration

Stefani Germanotta, or better known as Lady Gaga, had a central spot on the day of President Biden’s inauguration as she sang the national anthem. Her presence there didn’t come as a surprise because she was pretty vocal about her support for Biden during the presidential campaign.

In 2020, she shared a video of herself wearing outfit with a military pattern and drinking beer in front of a pickup truck. “Hey, this is Lady Gaga. I’m voting for America, which means I’m voting for Joe Biden,” she could be heard saying. She ended the video with the words “Cheers to the 2020 election,” as she crashed the can of beer.

In a separate tweet, she shared a photo of her with the president referring to him as of “a good friend.”

“That’s a pic of me in Pennsylvania when I lived in Lancaster. I LOVE THIS STATE. I’m here now! This place is filled with good hearted people — good hearted people that [Biden] loves,” she wrote. “He’s a good friend. He’s the President this country needs to bring us back together.”

Recently, Lady Gaga decided to speak of the inauguration day and revealed that she wore a bulletproof dress. The famous singer and performer confessed that she felt fear during the time Donald Trump served as the president of the country.

“Like many people in America, I felt a deep fear when Trump was president, and ushering 45 out and 46 in is something I’ll be able to tell my children all about.”

Ty Pennington, the host of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,” celebrates engagement: “Glad I waited for the One”

Out of all the reality shows on TV, those who are designed to help people in need are definitely my favorite. If you are a fan of such shows, chances are you are familiar with Ty Pennington, the host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

Ever since he appeared on the popular BBC program Trading Spaces where he worked as a carpenter, he stole many people’s hearts. Extremely skillful and smoking hot, it didn’t come as a surprise that Ty was soon offered to host Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

During the nine seasons it originally aired, the show helped built the homes of thousands of families. However, as much as he was happy to help one family at a time, rejecting the rest was very hard. Ty once revealed that they were getting over 4,000 videos a week of people who wanted to get renovations.

“Yeah, that’s the worst part, but who knows, we might be able to go back and help some of those people we had to say “no” to earlier,” he told Ability Magazine in 2007.

“What’s really cool is, some of the families we’ve helped have come out and helped us with other families. They really want to give back what’s been given to them. There’s definitely a pay-it-forward kind of vibe on our show.”

Hosting the show put Ty in the spotlight, but being on the set took its toll. He could barely find the time for his private life.

“I didn’t see family or a girlfriend for 10 years. I would come home to do laundry and go out again,” he told The Atlanta Constitution in 2019.

“When I saw people from the old TV show, they said ’My God! You look amazing!’ I got some sleep! I would imagine I look a lot better than when I was on the show.”

After the show was canceled back in 2011, Ty turned to other projects. He joined ABC’s talk show The Revolution and later on became a part of two cooking shows, On The Menu and American Diner Revival. He also opened a Los Angeles based design store. In 2018, Ty was part of the third season of the Deluxe Corporation’s series Small Business Revolution: Main Street, and he also did some renovations for Trading Spaces. Most recently, he was seen hosting Battle on the Beach.

When Extreme Makeover: Home Edition aired again recently, he wasn’t offered to get back on the show, but he said there are no hard feelings or any bad blood.

Today, Ty is engaged to 33-year-old social media manager Kellee Merrell. He proposed to her with a beautiful tea-drop-shaped diamond ring and shared the great news on Instagram by posting a photo with the caption “It’s the ‘yes’ for me…”

They have known in each other for a long time but only started dating last year after they stumbled upon each other.

“I have admired Kellee from afar for years. She’s a beautiful person inside and out,” Ty told People.

“Luckily our paths finally crossed at the right time. It’s one of those things where you just feel happy being around a person. I never thought I would get married, but she changed that. Glad I waited for the one.”

The couple is currently residing in Florida until their Savannah, Georgia home is ready. We are so happy Ty settled down with the woman he loves.
