Donald Trump not invited to the Queen’s funeral after royals make decision over Joe Biden

0

Donald Trump first visited Britain as a president back in 2018 and although it was a working visit, he didn’t receive an invitation on the behalf of the Queen to meet her.

The visit caused a stir. A huge number of Britons, around 250,000 according to reports, were against Trump coming to Britain and protested on the streets of the country.

As things got heated, then Prime Minister Theresa May decided to change the location of the meeting with Trump.

What’s most, an invitation wasn’t extended to him by The House of Commons to visit the parliament and address it. Previously, presidents Bil Clinton and Barack Obama did receive such invitations.

The most embarrassing moment for Trump was the giant balloon that depicted him as a pouting baby in a diaper holding a phone in his small hands. Reports were that the major of London was the one to allow protesters to fly the humiliating baloon.

This made Trump angry, so he addressed the major, Sadiq Khan, and referred to him as of a “stone cold loser.”

Speaking to The Sum, Trump was reported to have said, “I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, no reason for me to go to London. I used to love London as a city …But when they make you feel unwelcome, why would I stay there?”

In the year that followed, Trump visited Britain once again, but this time, he got to have some tea together with the Queen. At the time of his visit, officials of the United States of America asked Trump to spend a night at the Buckingham Palace, but he was denied the wish because the place was renovating at the time.

Knowing about this entire exchange, the British ambassador in Washington warned the Home Office about how “inept” and “incompetent” the President was. When these cables were leaked to the media, Trump was upset and demanded the diplomat’s recall back to the United States. As a result, the ambassador did lose his job in Washington D.C.

The following day, Trump, alongside his family, was invited to a banquet at Buckingham Palace. In his speech, he referred to the Queen as to “a great, great woman,” as he awkwardly put his hand on her back, breaking royal protocol.

Later in an interview, Trump told Business Insider of his banquet with the Queen, “I have such a great relationship [with the Queen], and we were laughing and having fun. And her people said she hasn’t had so much fun in 25 years. Then I got criticized for it because they said we were having too much fun… I feel I know her so well and she certainly knows me very well right now, but we have a very good relationship with the United Kingdom.”

However, no matter the so-called relationship with the Queen that Trump believed was obvious and existed, he did not receive an invitation to attend the funeral. Other former presidents such as Obama, Clinton and Bush weren’t invited either.

Instead, these men received invites from the British Government to attend a vigil in Washington DC. “We are following convention as you’d expect and have invited all former Presidents as well as President and Dr. Biden and other members of the Administration,’ a British embassy spokesperson said to the media, according to the Daily Mail.

This decision has been made because the capacity of Westminster Abbey is 2200.

The former Presidents were extended invitations to a special service of thanksgiving at Washington’s National Cathedral on Wednesday. The invite described the event as a ‘Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.’

Prince Harry is furious regarding this Royal Family’s choice

0

As the day of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral approaches, the country still mourns her loss.

For most Britons, the late Queen is the only monarch they have ever had as her reign, which is the longest in British history, lasted for 70 years.

Millions of people gathered to say the final goodbye to the woman who made history and served as a pillar who provided her people with a strong sense of stability and security.

Among those who still mourn her loss is Prince Harry.

The passing of his beloved grandma was a huge blow for the Duke of Sussex, especially because he spent the last couple of years away from his homeland and didn’t get much chance to be by her side as he and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and settled in America with their son Archie. While in California, Meghan gave birth to a baby girl, Lilibet Diana, named after her grandmother, late Princess Diana, and great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, whom Prince Philip called Lilibet.

Not being a working royal, Harry has been denied the chance to wear ceremonial military uniform.

His uncle, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, withdrew from public life in the aftermath of the controversy surrounding his relationship with the jailed child abuser Jeffrey Epstein and he lost a series of UK military titles, but he’s still allowed to wear full ceremonial military uniform.

According to reports, Prince Andrew will dress in the uniform he wore while his late mother was a Vice Admiral of the Navy as a final tribute to her.

This enraged Harry who insisted he wore his full unform too but was denied by the Palace.

Instead, Harry will wear a mourning suit.

The Palace further wrote that they request that the focus be kept on the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II since “his decade of military service is not dictated by the uniform he wears.”

What do you think of this? Should Harry be offered the chance to wear his full uniform?

Queen Elizabeth’s mysterious handwritten letter is hidden in a vault – and can only be opened in 2085

During her long reign of 70 years, late Queen Elizabeth developed special relationship with Australia and its people.

She first visited the continent two years after her coronation. Reports are that she had been there fifteen more times during her ruling and was looking forward to each of those visits.

As a constitutional monarch, the Queen was not involved in the day-to-day activities of the Australian Government but played important ceremonial and symbolic roles, one now passed to her heir, King Charles the Third.

Back in 1999, Australians voted on a referendum of whether or not they wanted the Queen to be retained their head of state. It ended with 55% voting in favor of keeping the monarchy, mainly because many were concerned about what the model of a future republic would look like.

In the past, Malcolm Turnbull, former Prime Minister of Australia who served between 2015 to 2018, referred to the people of Australia as “Elizabethans.” In a room full of people gathered in the Great Hall of Sydney University in 2016, he said: “The vast majority of Australians have known no other head of state than the Queen.

“She is so admired and respected that few of us can say — whether monarchists or republicans — that we are not Elizabethans.”

Before the referendum took place, many significant people, among which politicians, visited Britain and had meetings with the Queen.

One of those people was Patrick Lionel Djargun Dobson, an elder of the Yawuru people. He, alongside an Aboriginal delegation, met Her Majesty in 1999.

In the ABC documentary The Queen and Us, Dobson recalled how the Queen treated the Indigenous leaders with dignity and respect “for the first time in our lives.” While he spoke of the meeting with her, Dobson got overwhelmed with emotions.

“It’s a funny thing, to feel a bit emotional about it because she was so welcoming,” he was reported to have said. “And she thanked us for coming. I think for the first time in our lives, we were treated properly. She treated us as human beings.”

NEW YORK – JULY 06: Queen Elizabeth II signs the visitors book as she tours UN Headquarters on July 6, 2010 in New York City. In November 1986, 36 years ago, late Queen Elizabeth II penned a letter to the people of Sydney. Today, the letter lies in a vault in one of Australia’s historic buildings, the Queen Victoria Building, and wouldn’t be opened in the next 63 years.

The letter is addressed to the “Right and Honourable Lord Mayor of Sydney, Australia” and signed by the Queen. Ever since it was written, it has sat inside a glass case inside a restricted area in its dome.

“Greetings. On a suitable day to be selected by you in the year 2085 A.D. would you please open this envelope and convey to the citizens of SYDNEY my message to them,” the Queen’s instruction read.

Meghan Markle’s act following the passing of Queen Elizabeth confirms what we all believed about her

0

No matter how hard and painful the loss of Queen Elizabeth II is for the Britons and people from all over the world, we all hope that the tragedy will help the royal family smooth things down between them.

William and Harry could be seen walking side by side behind their grandmother’s coffin, a sad and devastating sight which made many recall the same scene after the passing of their mother, Princess Diana.

Things between the brothers were rough during the past couple of years. It all started with Harry and Meghan stepping down from their royal duties and settling down in America, thus leaving Britain behind.

Once he left his homeland, Harry spoke openly of the life as a royal and told Oprah that he used to be trapped inside the system, the same way his brother and father still are. Allegations against the royals were brought up, among which those of racism.

Following the passing of Prince Philip last year, many were convinced that the brothers, who were united in grief, would rebuild their relationship, but things didn’t turn out that way. This time, however, experts believe that William and Harry will finally put their differences aside.

Body language experts, among which psychologist Judi James, claim that the relationship between the Sussexes and the newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales has already started improving as they were all seen standing right next to each other. William was said to be spotted extending his arm towards Meghan, asking her to approach closer during the greeting of the crowd gathered to pay respect to late Queen Elizabeth. Meghan seemed to have accepted the ‘invitation,’ which might imply she’s no longer willing to get into conflicts with her husband’s family.

Neither William nor Harry have spoken of their relationship, but as a new era for the country has just started and their father became the King of Britain, everyone hopes they would be there for him. Rumors are that Harry might even consider returning to his homeland for good.

Medic shares sad clue about Queen’s cause of death – but her true condition may never be revealed

0

To say that Queen Elizabeth II, the longest reigning monarch in the British history, will be just missed by her people is an understatement. This incredible monarch not only witnessed history taking place during the 70 years she spent on the head of the British throne, but she was part of it and helped shape it a great deal.

Queen Elizabeth passed away on September 8 and her funeral is expected to take place on September 19.

An incredible number of people spent hours, some even more than 12 or 13, to see her coffin and say that one last goodbye and thank you for everything she had done for the country.

Although her passing was tragic, it wasn’t entirely unexpected given her age and her fragile health during the last months of her life. The media reported the Queen was advised by doctors to rest. She even cancelled and delayed some important meetings due to her health condition this year.

The Queen’s last official duty as the head of the country was a meeting with newly appointed Prime Minister of Great Britain, Liz Truss, whom she welcomed to Balmoral.

The photographer who snapped the last photo of Queen Elizabeth, Jane Barlow, said the Queen did look fragile, but she was in a good mood, as well professional and friendly until the very end.

“I got a lot of smiles from her,” Barlow told Sky News.

When the photo session was finished, Barlow left the room. Then she got another smile from the Queen.

“I was there to photograph her meeting the new Prime Minister but for me the best picture was the one of the Queen on her own. And it has obviously become more significant now.”

On the day of her passing, the media and the wide public closely followed the news of the Queen’s health condition as people started gathering around Balmoral castle. The rumors of her deteriorated health were confirmed when members of the royal family were spotted arriving in Scotland to be by the Queen’s side.

Unfortunately, shortly after, Buckingham Palace released a statement announcing Her Majesty’s death.

“The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and the Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

The new ruler of the country, King Charles III, spoke emotionally of his dear mother.

“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family,” he said in a statement.

“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.”

King Charles added: “During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”

Getty Images

The cause of death hasn’t yet been revealed and the truth is that it may never be.

The public, however, started making guesses and noticed that on the last photo taken of her, Queen Elizabeth’s hands happened to be bruised.

Experts claim that the Queen met the medical criteria for “geriatric syndrome”, a condition used to describe the features of common health conditions in older people that don’t fit into specific categories.

Based on the British healthcare system’s measuring criteria to gauge a person’s frailty using a test known as Prisma 7 because it includes seven criteria, Her Majesty met five, including being over 85, needed a walking stick, requiring regular help, and being forced to cancel activities.

Getty Images

Doctor Ginni Mansberg believes that Prince Philip’s passing last year also took its toll on the Queen’s overall condition.

“She lost her husband of so many years, and statistically, the number of partners who die within twelve months of losing a partner … that is a very high risk time,” Doctor Mansberg told Weekend Sunrise.

“Grief puts additional strain on the body, and it’s really hard to lose somebody to who you’ve been married for that long, on top of everything else, on top of being in your mid-90s.”

Other experts, among which Dr. Deb Cohen-Jones, suspect Queen Elizabeth suffered from peripheral vascular disease, a blood circulation disorder that causes the blood vessels outside of your heart and brain to narrow, block, or spasm.

“It can sometimes result in heart failure. If your peripheral circulation is that poor, organs aren’t receiving a good blood supply. It can be a sign of multi-organ failure,” Dr. Cohen-Jones said.

No matter the exact cause, one thing is certain, Queen Elizabeth was one of the most loved and most respected monarchs. She will be dearly missed.

This world-famous pop star weight gain had fans concerned

0

Lana Del Rey, born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant on June 21, 1985, has made an astounding career in the world of music. Her songs bring a sense of melancholy, and the lyrics to her sons, along with the music, are so profound that she became a sensation for all the right reasons.

As the videos for her songs Blue Jeans and Video Games took the world by storm, Lana Del Rey gained so much attention that she became a star almost overnight.

It didn’t take long before she conquered the music industry and received a number of awards and nominations, including the International Breakthrough Act at the Brit Awards in 2012, just at the start of her career.

Recently, however, the Born to Die singer is again at the center of attention, but it isn’t about her music.

Lana Del Rey’s appearance has changed drastically since the start of the coronavirus pandemic and her fans were left worried for her health. The singer gained significant amount of weight and doesn’t even resemble her old self, which led to people start fat-shaming her.

In September 2022, after the singer attended the Malibu Chili Cook-Off, photos of her emerged online and they caused a stir on Twitter. This wasn’t the first time Del Rey to be heavily criticized about her looks. In fat, the fat-shaming she has gone through started back in 2020 after she and her sister were spotted shopping decorations for 4th of July.

And as the number of those criticizing her for her look has been huge, many of her fans took her side and started using the hashtag #WeLoveYouLana in her defence. Needless to say, people got so obsessed with her that the hashtag started trending.

The lyrics of her unreleased song Boarding School, which is oriented on the American boarding school culture, reads, ‘I’m a fan of the pro-ana nation. I use the pills to prevent the f-food cravings.’ Fans are convinced this indicates that Lana had an eating disorder, anorexia, and drug addiction.

A recent photo of her shows her wearing cropped denim shorts, a cap, black mask, and white sneakers.

“Ew, I had no idea Lana del Rey is fat. Thought she was prettier too, I am disappointed,” one person wrote.

Another person, however, wrote, “Lana Del Rey is a queen idc if she gained weight, she’s still perfect.”

Back in 2021, Land del Rey deactivated her social media accounts in order to pursue other interests.

Grandpa has found a new way to scare off all of the telemarketers

0

No matter if you are young or old, I am sure you are a fan of the iconic Disney characters, among which Donald Duck. And yes, the first things that comes to your mind when listening to this name is probably the blue sailor shirt with a red bow tie and cap, as well as his distinctive voice which is hard to imitate.

Well, a man that goes by the name Donald Sizemore is probably the best imitators of this famous duck’s voice and we can see that from the video below, which we all have to agree is beyond hilarious.

Source: YouTube – Inside Edition

The phone is ringing and Mr. Sizemore picks it up. It is a telemarketer on the other side of the line so he decides to do Donald Duck’s voice. Confused, the telemarketer asks whether he’s the real Donald Duck, and the conversation goes on for a while before the other side realizes something weird is going on and hangs up the phone. I don’t know about you, but I would have never hanged up on one of my favorite Disney characters ever.

Some say the telemarketer only got what they deserve for disturbing people over the phone, but I guess they are only doing their job.

Anyways, if you want to listen to Mr. Sizemore speaking exactly like Donald Duck, then check out the video below.
