After a bigoted hardware store owner posted a ‘No Gays Allowed’ sign, he got roasted on Yelp.

In 2015 the gay marriage was legalized by the U.S. Supreme Court. However, in 2018 the Court also added that the people have the right to oppose it. Since then, people were encouraged, or empowered, to oppose that given right.

One such example was the baker’s case in Colorado. A gay couple wanted to order a wedding cake from the Baker, but he actually turned them down. The case ended up in court. During the proceeding, the baker cited his Christian beliefs and pointed them out as a reason for the opposition. Therefore, the court ruled 7-2 in favour of the baker.

“The laws and the Constitution can, and in some instances must, protect gay persons and gay couples in the exercise of their civil rights,” the court found, “but religious and philosophical objections to gay marriage are protected views and in some instances protected forms of expression.”

Since then, bigots have been encouraged to refuse providing services to gay couples by relying on the ‘religious freedom’ right. Another such case, besides the baker’s one, is the Jeff Amyx, owner of Amyx Hardware and Roofing Supplies in Washburn, Tennessee.

In 2018, Amyx decided to put some anti-gay signs in his shop. He has put these: “No gays allowed,” “Choose god or gays,” and “We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who would violate our rights of freedom of speech and freedom of religion.” This was quickly spread virally and Amyx became a target of the Internet community who found these signs inappropriate.

The most important question regarding such cases is why people are losing potential profit and customers just to push their point of view?

Everyone who was angry by Amyx’s actions slammed his business on Yelp. 

Google users when they review his business even categories his store as a gay bar.

However, after some time, Yelp decided to clean up the negative reviews. 

“This business recently made waves in the news, which often means that people come to this page to post their views on the news,” Yelp said in a statement. “While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to these news events, we do work to remove both positive and negative posts that appear to be motivated more by the news coverage itself than the reviewer’s personal consumer experience with the business.”

On the other hand, Google did not do that. They are still listing his shop as a gay bar. In addition, the negative comments have not been removed.

People should understand that we are equal and we have equal rights. Since religious groups have the right to practice their religions freely, why shouldn’t homosexual people enjoy their rights and feel the benefits of the country they live in? It turns out that the country has yet to empower its laws and protect people’s rights.

According to the Healthy.Shared, in case of sciatica, the ball targets the piriformis muscle which is near the sciatic nerve itself.

At the beginning, the pain is intense, so you shouldn’t worry too much. That’s a good sign to continue with the exercise. Apply pressure and endure the exercise.

Pressure on the spot should be applied for 30 or 60 seconds. Then move to another spot. The whole exercise is from 5 to 10 minutes.

Teen who stabbed a man to death over coffee gets 20 years in jail in a case that shocked the nation

A minor incident, which actually may happen to all of us, resulted with the death of an innocent man in Connecticut.

Antonio Muralles, age 52, bought his coffee in the local McDonald’s and he was on his way out. As soon as he started walking along the street, he bumped into two teenage kids, Marquest Hall and James McLamb.

As he bumped in the teenagers, unintentionally he spilled his coffee on them. As we all do in such circumstances, he apologized both of them for the unwanted situation. However, the teenagers did not think like that.

According to Daily Mail, the teenagers did not accept the apology and started threatening the man.

The 15-year old Marquest Hall stabbed the innocent man several times. Ironically and cruelly, he was repeatedly asking the man if he wanted to die.

The tragedy, however, happened.

The attack started with James punching the man. In just a few seconds after the punch, Hall started stubbing the man.

Muralles fell on the ground. However, this was not a reason for the boys to stop. They continued attacking him. The last stab was in his heart, which turned out to be fatal.

However, the investigation proved that this was not the only incident that Hall tried to create. Prior that attack, Hall was trying to come up with a reason for attacking a man with a walking stick.

Unfortunately, very soon, he saw Muralles and he found a chance to release his frustrations. That was tragic and fatal for the poor man.

‘Brutal, senseless and totally unnecessary’

Marquest Hall was charged with intentional manslaughter. He was going to get the maximum punishment. He also pleaded guilty, hoping that he will get less years in prison. News 12 Connecticut reported he will get 20 years behind bars for such charges.

Upon pleading guilty, the judge said there is a possibility for accepting it on base on his age and learning disabilities.

James McLamb also got what he deserved. He was charged with second-degree assault and he got five years behind bars.

In addition, McLamb apologized to the Muralles family.

Stamford Police Department adds that McLamb had also weapon charges with a $2 million bond. These two incidents are not related, though.

School recalls yearbook after realizing student’s quote has a deeper, very sexual meaning.

Before you leave your mark in the real world, you leave your legacy printed in the yearbook. No matter if you were the coolest person in high school, or a real nerd who only cared for getting straight A’s, it eventually all fades away, but the quote you choose to stand there proudly under your graduation photo is there, well, pretty much forever. Some students choose words of wisdom, others try to be witty, and those like this person named Jordan opted for something pretty inappropriate. And now we can’t help but wonder, how the hell did this quote passed and got published.

Before the school even noticed what slipped through their fingers, a redditor that goes by the name Bwawo posted it online. The school then yanked out the yearbooks from the students, but we guess it was way too late as it’s already everywhere.

The redditors say how the yearbooks still on sale were recalled, and if it wasn’t for this guy who shared the quote with the whole world, Jordan would have probably gotten away with it.

Teacher mocks boy’s faith in front of the class – student’s clever reply completely stumps her

Religion is a private thing. It’s up to the people themselves to choose what to believe in and what not to believe in.

It’s also perfectly fine if one person does not believe in anything. Such people exist and it’s their own right to be atheists.

Nevertheless, there are believers and non-believers who try to push their point of view and convince the others in order ‘to choose the right path’. This is very rude and unacceptable in the modern world.

Regarding this issue, there is a fantastic factious story that involves a teacher and her students. The teacher’s intention is to tell her students what to believe in, and Adam’s reaction shuts her up.

The teacher is non-believer and she tries to place her views in front of the students.

“Go out in the schoolyard”

To demonstrate that God did not exist, Ms. Smith asked Adam:

“Adam, can you see that tree outside the window?”

“Yes,” the boy replied.

“Adam, can you see the lawn around the tree?”

“Yes,” the boy replied once again.

“Now go out in the schoolyard and look up at the sky,” Ms. Smith told him.

Adam nodded, and walked out in the schoolyard. He looked up at the blue sky for a few moments, then walked back into the classroom.

“Did you see God out there?”

“I saw the sky,” Adam said, happy to have been out in the yard for a few seconds.

“But did you see God up there?” the teacher said in a mocking tone.

“Nope, I didn’t,” Adam answered truthfully.

“Exactly. We can’t see God, because he’s not there. He simply doesn’t exist,” the teacher said with a jeering smile.

“Can you see miss Smith?”

Suddenly, Adam’s classmate Felicia eagerly raised her hand, and the teacher nodded for her to speak.

“Adam, can you see that tree outside the window?” little Felicia asked.

“Yes,” he replied.

“And can you see the lawn around the tree?”

“Yes,” Adam said.

“And did you see the sky out there?”

“Yes!” Adam said, a bit frustrated at all the questions.

“And can you see miss Smith?”

“So according to what we’ve been taught…”

“Yes,” Adam replied, now getting a bit curious.

“And can you see her brain?” little Felicia asked.

“Uhm, no,” Adam replied.

Felicia smiled at miss Smith.

“Okay, so according to what we’ve been taught today, miss Smith doesn’t have a brain!”

Simon and Garfunkel’s most iconic song, “Bridge over Troubled Water,” that was released back in 1970 as part of their fifth and final album, made it among the best-selling singles of all time, with over six-million copies sold worldwide. It won Grammy Award for Record of the Year and Song of the Year and was a number one hit on The Billboard Hot 100. This everlasting song topped the charts in countries from every corner of the world and is one of the most performed songs. Some of the famous names who did covers are Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin, but we have to agree that the singer who did greatest justice to this song is Josh Groban.

Groban’s powerful vocal never ceases to amaze the crowds and each of his performances gives us goosebumps. Listening to him singing resembles pure magic. The fact that David Foster chose him to sing in place of Andrea Boceli speaks a lot about this singer and actor’s talent. His renditions are unique as he’s able to incorporate a bit of his personality in each and every one of them.

During one of his concerts held in Madison Square Garden, he surprised the cheering audience with “Bridge over Troubled Water.” The moment they heard the notes of this piece of music which carries the influence of gospel tunes, the hall was filled with loud applause.
