Mom of Quadruplets posts before-and-after photos of her belly to shows how amazing the female body is

From the moment they are told they are carrying a baby until the moment the little bundle of joy is welcomed into the world, most moms have mixed emotions regarding the journey of nine months that most refer to as the best period of a woman’s life. No matter how happy they are, the question of whether everything was going to be fine until they hold their baby in their arms is always present, and this is especially true if the mother-to-be experienced a miscarriage before.

When their son Carson was born, parents Syman and Lindsay Hay from New Jersey were over the moon. But they always knew they wanted a big family so the thought of having more kids was still there.

However, things didn’t go as planned as Lindsay went through several miscarriages and they were told she had “poor egg quality” which meant conceiving naturally would be almost impossible.

WEEK 26 QUAD BUMPDATE! Except I’m actually 26+5 in this photo and sharing at the 27 week mark which you’ll also get an update on in a few days. If you want a sneak peek at what’s going on at week 27, have a look at my story. 🙈 But back to week 26, this was the week I found myself at the hospital for abdominal cramping that just turned out to be… Constipation. So there’s that. You’re welcome. At this point my body seems to be handling the pregnancy well aside from the 500 stretch marks that have appeared out of no where and increased pelvic pressure. There’s also the modest 49 pounds I’ve already gained or the fact that at 26+5 I’m measuring FIFTY WEEKS. Nbd. Babies are all looking great, developing on track, and baby d’s fluid that was once a bit excessive is now back in perfect range. Babies are all SUPER reactive and responsive to me poking at them. It’s truly incredible to feel 4 humans moving at one time. So grateful we have made it this far and am counting every single day as a major win. Trimester 3, I’m comin for ya. 💛 . . . . . #growbabiesgrow #quadruplets #quadmom #quadrupletsofinstagram #quadrupletpregnancy #highriskpregnancy #incompetentcervix #cerclage #emergencycerclage #preventativecerclage #higherordermultiples #rainbowbabies #hopeafterloss #wordsofaffirmation #bumpwatch #secondtrimester #pregnancyupdate #26weeks #26weekspregnant #stretchmarks #somanystretchmarks #viability #summerbabies #momofmultiples #momof5 #expecting #infertility #infertilityawareness #haysfordays #thehayquads

Doctors suggested they should try a treatment with an injectable hormone called Follistim before they turn to IVF. This gave them hope and they decided to give this treatment a go.

“The theory behind the drugs was that if I produced more than one egg per cycle, I’d catch a good one faster. We had to try this, plus timed intercourse six times, before moving on to IVF,” Lindsay told BuzzFeed.

27 WEEK QUAD BUMPDATE! This isn’t my norm update pic since I’ve been camping out at the hospital but I needed to capture the belly in all it’s glory and give everyone an update! — And tomorrow is already week 28!!! Since I had the episode of contractions last weekend they’ve been keeping me under observation and continuing to give me procardia to keep things calm. So far so good and if things continue this way for the rest of the day, I get to go home TOMORROW! Hospital life isn’t fun but I’ve had some really amazing nurses taking care of me and keeping me company. Plus I had a huge outing to the first floor for my growth scan (27 + 5) and the babies look so good! Baby A- 3 lbs. 2 oz, Baby B- 2 lbs. 6 oz., Baby C- 3 lbs. 0 oz., Baby D- 2 lbs. 13 oz.) My face is starting to swell and I’m not loving how I’m looking but these weights are everything to me and makes it all 1000% worth it. For a small person I seem to make some decent sized babies!! My spirits are good and every day my rockstar hubby @syman_1 has been bringing Carson to come see me and we push the hospital beds together so we can have dinner and watch a movie together. The hardest part of this week has definitely been being away from them and I’ve cried a bunch but we’re doing it. Can’t believe today is our last holiday as a party of 3 AND LAST DAY IN THE 2ND TRIMESTER! 🇺🇸❤️ . . . #growbabiesgrow #quadruplets #quadmom #quadrupletsofinstagram #quadrupletpregnancy #highriskpregnancy #incompetentcervix #cerclage #emergencycerclage #preventativecerclage #higherordermultiples #rainbowbabies #hopeafterloss #bumpwatch #secondtrimester #hellotrimester3 #pregnancyupdate #27weeks #27weekspregnant #stretchmarks #somanystretchmarks #viability #summerbabies #momofmultiples #momof5 #expecting #infertility #infertilityawareness #haysfordays #thehayquads

To their surprise and delight, this treatment gave them what they expected for so long, and so much more than the baby they dreamed of. Lindsay was pregnant with quadruplets, which happens once in 700,000 pregnancies.

This was awesome news, but knowing she lost babies before, both Lindsay and her husband feared for the life of the four babies she was now carrying.

“I was in a lot of denial because I was told I had poor egg quality, and I just didn’t believe it. My husband was silent and white as a ghost,” Lindsay said.

23 WEEK QUAD BUMPDATE! Interrupting my baby shower spam for a super late update. I’m actually 23 weeks and 5 days today so some of my “symptoms” are going to overlap with my 24 week update in a few days. Spoiler alert: I have a stretch mark. Actually make that three. While I know what my body is doing is incredible, I’m not ready for the sentimental comments just yet. I am having a vain moment and grieving my “perfect” stomach, ok? 🙈There was a time hubby and me wondered if I’d ever have a pregnant bump again though so I truly am grateful and embracing it, but sometimes it’s hard and I’m just keeping it real. This week we had my first cervix check post cerclage and it’s actually lengthened which is a huge relief. Babies are developing right on track, my blood pressure is great, and I’m up 35 pounds! Can’t wait to hit viability (!!!) in just two short days and check on my sweet babes again next week. PS: Swipe to see how I want to feel, vs. how I really feel. #tiredasamother . . . #growbabiesgrow #quadruplets #quadmom #quadrupletsofinstagram #quadrupletpregnancy #highriskpregnancy #incompetentcervix #cerclage #emergencycerclage #preventativecerclage #higherordermultiples #rainbowbabies #hopeafterloss #wordsofaffirmation #bumpwatch #secondtrimester #pregnancyupdate #23weeks #23weekspregnant #summerbabies #momofmultiples #momof5 #expecting #infertility #infertilityawareness #mdw #haysfordays #thehayquads

Luckily, each of the ultrasounds showed the little babies were developing normally.

“You carry the pain of miscarriage with you wherever you go, and even after being on the other side with my rainbow babies here, it still hurts. I don’t think I’ll ever fully heal. It definitely made me stronger, though, and gave me new perspective and appreciation for just how big of a miracle these babies and all babies really are,” this mom-to-be said.

The pregnancy wasn’t an easy one, however, and Lindsay spoke of her fears, her anxiousness, and the uncertainty she felt all the way. On top of that, she experienced fatigues and nausea.

At 20 weeks into her pregnancy, doctors told Lindsay how her cervix was getting thin and that she had to take a lot of rest and reduce her movements. When she reached 30 weeks and 4 days, doctors told her it was the time for her bundles of joy to be delivered.

On Tuesday, July 23rd, we finally met our four little loves that I fought so hard to get here! The birth was seriously the most incredible experience of my life and I was on the biggest adrenaline high imaginable. The c section went perfectly and we even had a clear drape so that once the handy work of the doctors was over we were able to watch the babies being pulled out and delivered. They all came out kicking and screaming and breathing on their own, and their cries alone made it all worth it. This is the first baby I got to see up close and personal but we aren’t quite sure who is who since they all pretty much look identical. All blonde and delicious even if it’s hard to tell with their little tubes! But without further ado, let us introduce you to our babies. 💛 Ps, while I can’t get to every message right now just know we are so appreciative of all your kindness and support along this journey! We love you! #quadruplets #thehayquads

This brave mother gave birth via c-section and welcomed four healthy babies into the world. Because they were tiny, the quadruplets had to spend around seven weeks in the NICU after which they headed home to be around their big brother and their caring mommy and daddy.

Lindsay documented her incredible journey with a lot of photos of her huge belly and kept her Instagram followers updated. Many commented that it really takes a strong personality to give birth to four babies all at once and loved how Lindsay spoke of her pregnancy and their children.

Her fans were eager to see how life is like with five children in the house, but Lindsay couldn’t really post every day because she had her hands full. “I rarely get a minute to myself. I’m constantly in motion and have learned how to move quickly and multitask. I sleep less. I worry more. But I will say this: The expression ‘full hands, fuller hearts’ has never resonated with me more. I am so overjoyed with happiness and fulfillment, and every day I wake up wondering how I got so lucky. I have everything I prayed for and more. We are so blessed,” she wrote.

What was really special about this mother is that she breastfed all of her children. It does sound like a lot of work, but she wanted to form that special bond with each of them. The Hays are a blessed family and we wish them all the best in the years to come.

Wife in coma hears husband whisper ‘you’re a fighter’ as plug is pulled

This is the amazing story of a mother and a wife from Arizona named Lyndee. One day, as this 45-year-old woman’s son entered the house, he saw her helplessly laying on the floor.

Seeing his mother in such state terrified him very much, but he pulled himself together and called 911. Lyndee was quickly rushed to hospital where she stayed for 12 days.

The medics were unable to identify the reason for Lyndee’s condition. And as her husband Steve, her daughter Amanda, and her son Steven prayed for a miracle, doctors said there was nothing that could be done and advised the family to turn off her life support.

Hearing this, her family decided to do what they were told. They also agreed for Lyndee’s organs to be donated afterwards as she always said she wanted to be an organ donor.

“My family knows I am an avid organ donor so when my organs started to fail, they made the decision — it was time to make that decision,” Lyndee would later explain.

Family members visited Lyndee to say that final goodbye to the amazing woman that she has always been. But, no one knew that Lyndee wasn’t brain dead as everyone believed. She could hear every word her loved ones said to her during the time she was in coma.

The phenomenon of being unable to move and react, but being able to hear is known as being “locked in,” and Lyndee was experiencing it firsthand.

“I remember people talking to me,” Lyndee recalled. “I remember when people came to visit, my niece reading to me.”

When the time came for Lyndee’s husband to say goodbye, he said, “You’re a fighter. I need you to fight.”

This made Lyndee even more determined to find the strength to tell everyone that she was still there.

“In my head, it was very clear what I was saying, but it wasn’t to them,” she explained.

Then, at one moment, she whispered, “I’m a fighter.”

Both her family and the doctors were left in complete shock. Steve even told the doctors how they made a huge mistake as his wife did everything they said she wouldn’t do ever again. She woke up, and spoke.

Amanda recalled the moment she found out her mother was alive. “I looked at her, and she just says, ‘Hi,’ and I just fell to my knees,” she said.

The road to full recovery was a long and a tough one as Lyndee had to learn how to walk and feed herself again. She also experienced a number of health issues along the way and underwent four surgeries.

“They released me with home healthcare to continue learning everything,” she said.

Now, four years after she fell in coma, Lyndee Brown Pellettiere-Swapp still has no answer of why she fell unconscious that day. She doesn’t even know how she woke up from the coma. But what’s important is that she’s doing great now.

She wants others to hear her story and know that “Just because you’re not conscious doesn’t mean you can’t hear.”

“So you should talk to your loved ones if you are in that situation. They hear you,” she told CBS 5 Arizona.

Her story teaches us that we should never take things for granted and we should always make sure we tell our family and friends how much we love them as life can turn for the worse when we least expect that.

“Keep your family close and don’t let them go. I don’t take for granted that I get to come home and kiss my mom,” Lyndee’s son Steven said.

“Every day I come home from work, seeing her and talking to her,” Steven continued.

Queen Elizabeth “scolded” Harry for using offensive language a day prior to his wedding

Harry and Meghan marked their third wedding anniversary by announcing they were building its next Community Relief Center in India in partnership with World Central Kitchen through their Archewell Foundation.

They didn’t celebrate big because Meghan is heavily pregnant with the couple’s second child, a baby girl due this summer.

However, we can’t help but think back of what was one of the most watched wedding ceelbrations ever. The beautiful ceremony of tying the knot between Harry and Meghan took place on on May 19, 2018. Among the guests were a lot of celebrities such as George Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams, James Corden, and Oprah Winfrey. Meghan wore a wedding dress designed by Givenchy’s then-creative director, Clare Waight Keller, and the stunning Queen Mary’s bandeau tiara which belonged to the Queen’s grandmother, Queen Marry.

News on an incident which took place a day prior to the royal wedding involving the tiara has emerged recently.

A royal source revealed that Meghan requested from one of the Queen’s closest aides and friends, Angela Kelly, to give her the tiara to try on. Angela, who is a fashion designer and dressmaker who has served Queen Elizabeth for over 20 years, refused to allow an access to the tiara at such a short notice. It has been reported by The Mirror that Angela said how Meghan and Harry didn’t follow the royal protocol and added: “I’m very sorry, that’s not how it works. There’s protocol in place over these jewels. They’re kept under very tight lock and key. You can’t turn up and demand to have the tiara just because your hairdresser happens to be in town.”

Allegedly, Harry wasn’t happy with the answer and used rude language. The Queen was alerted of “the incident” and requested a meeting with her grandson. It was said by the royal source that she “scolded” him for behaving in such a rude manner and using “bad language.”

We can’t be sure if the royal source is telling the truth or not. The fact is that the royal family is now experiencing a “turmoil” and trying to reconcile their differences after the Sussexes stepped down from their royal duties, left Britain, and accused the Royals of many things, including racism.

“You’re free to go home:” Fox host Sean Hannity slams Prince Harry over First Amendment comments

The infamous Oprah interview placed the Sussexes under the spotlight and their work and life in America is now number one discussed topic, especially because they are giving even more interviews and speak publicly of their life as Royals and how everything changed after they left Britain.

Recently, both Harry and Meghan were part of a television fundraiser VAX Live: The Concert to Reunite the World

Harry, however, seems to be more present in the media, which he tends to slam whenever he gets an opportunity. Speaking on the Armchair Expert podcast, Harry touched on a lot of topics. Among the rest, he spoke of his upbringing and said how his father, Prince Charles, handed down a “cycle” of “genetic pain and suffering” and how he wants to break that cycle.

“I don’t think we should be pointing the finger or blaming anybody. But certainly when it comes to parenting, if I’ve experienced some form of pain or suffering because of the pain or suffering that perhaps my father or my parents had suffered, I’m going to make sure that I break that cycle so that I don’t pass it on basically,” Harry said.

Shutterstock

“There’s a lot of genetic pain and suffering that gets passed on anyway, as parents we should be doing the most that we can to try and say ‘you know what that happened to me, I’m going to make sure that doesn’t happen to you.’”

Harry continued: “I never saw it, I never knew about it, and then suddenly I started to piece it all together and go OK so this where he went to school, this is what happened.

“I know this bit about his life, I also know that’s connected to his parents. So that means that he’s treating me the way that he was treated. Which means how can I change that for my own kids?”

He explained how he wanted to leave the royal life when he was in his twenties and admitted he started therapy.

Harry also said that he feels more free now that he lives in the States but described America’s First Amendment as “bonkers” and added that you can find a loophole in anything. “I believe we live in an age now where you’ve got certain elements of the media redefining to us what privacy means. There’s a massive conflict of interest,” Harry said.

This didn’t make Fox host Sean Hannity happy so he decided to teach Prince Harry a lesson. During his lengthy monologue, Hannity said:

“I have a message for Harry, who is now attacking one of America’s most sacred rights, the freedom of speech under our First Amendment. Harry, we really don’t need you coming from England to give us lectures on the First Amendment.

“And if he can’t understand the importance of free expression and the importance of constitutional principles that allow for a free exchange of ideas and ideals and opinions that have made America the greatest country on Earth. Maybe it’s time for you to move to a place more compatible with your restrictive ideas.”

The host added that it was the amendment that actually allowed Harry to trash his family during the Oprah interview and other occasions.

“We don’t really need lectures about customs or sacred freedoms,” Hannity continued.

“And by the way, you’re free to go home, make amends at the palace with the people that you and your wife hurt deeply. And by the way, you’re enjoying the freedoms protected under the First Amendment as you’re living in America and an expensive place. Let not your heart be troubled.”

However, many found Harry’s appearance on the podcast humorous and beautiful as he also touched on many light-hearted things.

Simon Cowell says his old “scary” electric bike he hurt his back on was a death trap

Simon Cowell, the judge of the X Factor and Got Talent shows, suffered a very bad accident after he fell off his electric bike last year. Sadly, he hurt his back and had to undergo a six-hour surgery. At the time, he posted on Twitter thanking the well-wishers and giving them advice to be extra careful when using an electric bike for the first time, thus saying they have to read the manual thoroughly.

Cowell’s recovery took some time, but thankfully, he’s now feeling great and is back to his job commitments.

Speaking of his incident, Cowell shared with Extra TV that he was in a complete shock when he saw the X-ray of his back. “I knew I’d broken my back the minute I landed. It was really, really kind of sudden and it hurt,” he said. “It could have been a lot worse. When I saw the X-ray, I really nearly could have smashed my spine to pieces, so I literally wouldn’t have been able to walk.”

People Magazine reported at the time, that it only took Cowell two days after the surgery to start walking again.

Shutterstock

According to Daily Mail, Cowell is in excellent shape and makes sure he walks several hours a day in order to stay fit.

“Cowell hasn’t worn trainers as much as he does now for over 20 years,” a source told Daily Mail. “He feels fitter than ever before and is keeping to a normal routine rather than being on the phone until into the early hours of the morning.”

Shutterstock

Last week, TMZ reported to have spotted Cowell riding a new electric bike, very different from the one he hurt his back on.

“First of all, I bought a crazy, crazy bike,” Simon told TMZ. ”Even though [the bike he had his accident on] had pedals on, this is not what I would call an electric bike.

“The one I had was basically a motorcycle with an electric engine when you have to wear a proper crash helmet, leathers. This thing was nuts,” he added. “I didn’t know how powerful it was before I got on it. And I fly 6-8 feet in the air and landed on my spine.”

Simon is set to start filming the new season of America’s Got Talent soon.

Homeowner powerless to remove woman squatting on her property because “the rules are set up in favor of tenants”

Fiona, a hairdresser from Melbourne, Australia, found herself in a very bizarre situation from which there is no way out.

Namely, a homeless woman named Heidi Withers moved to Fiona’s property and refuses to leave the land. She didn’t only place a mattress there, but a bunch of her belongings, including a fridge, and started squatting in a makeshift campsite.

“It’s not just a mattress or a bed. It’s everything. It’s fridges, it’s a couch and god knows what else, all her things are all out there,” the desperate homeowner told Nine News show A Current Affair. “She’s camping there. She’s essentially squatting outside my unit. It’s my place, I am the owner. You would think that I have a say as to who stays there.”

Credit: YouTube Screenshot/ Nine News

But Heidi isn’t the only person living on Fiona’s private property. She has also invited two other people to live with her.

Fiona is desperate as authorities say she doesn’t have the right to remove Heidi from her front garden. The president of the Real Estate Institute of Victoria, Leah Calnan, says the rules are set up in favor of tenants rather than landlords.

The biggest issue is that Fiona doesn’t live in the house herself. Now, in order for her to be able to remove the trespassers, she would have to evict the tenant she’s renting her house to, and that’s a complicated issue.

“I don’t want to evict him. But I do want to evict Heidi from my property. She’s not welcome there. I certainly don’t want anyone to be homeless, but I need something to happen,” Fiona added.

“If she’s got nowhere to go, I’m sure a shelter will help her. There’s got to be help out there.”

Fifth-grade teacher asks students to share a story with a moral at the end of it

Teaching young children is the most humble thing ever. Although they misbehave and are hard to deal with at times, they can really make your day whenever you feel down. So, I guess that being a teacher really is one heck of a cool job. One fifth-grade teacher gave her students an interesting assignment. Namely, she asked them to get their parents tell them a story with a moral. The teacher did expect for those stories to be interesting, but what one of the students had to share with the rest of the class left her in disbelief.

This is totally hilarious. Take a look at what the students shared.

Susie said “We live on a farm and I was collecting eggs from the hen house one day. I gathered the eggs and put them in my basket and set off running toward the house. While running I tripped over a rock and smashed all of the eggs.” “So what’s the moral of the story Susie?” Asked the teacher. “Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket,” said Susie. Next it was Billy’s turn to go. “We also live on a farm,” said Billy. “We have incubators to help our eggs hatch. One night there was a thunderstorm and lightning knocked out the power to the incubators.” “So what’s the moral of that story Billy?” Asked the teacher. “Don’t count your chickens before they hatch,” said Billy. The teacher turned to Janie. “Janie, do you have a story to share?’ “Yes ma’am. My daddy told me a story about my Mommy. She was a Marine pilot in Desert Storm, and her plane got hit. She had to bail out over enemy territory, and all she had was a flask of whiskey, a pistol, and a survival knife. She drank the whiskey on the way down so the bottle wouldn’t break, and then her parachute landed her right in the middle of 20 Iraqi troops. She shot 15 of them with the pistol, until she ran out of bullets, killed four more with the knife, till the blade broke, and then she killed the last Iraqi with her bare hands. “Good Heavens,’ said the horrified teacher. ‘What did your Daddy tell you was the moral to this horrible story?” “He said don’t mess with Mommy when she’s been drinking.”

Trucker gives the funniest order ever for breakfast at his favorite restaurant

Although the stereotype that “blondes are dumb” doesn’t do any harm, many times people actually believe this is true and as a result there are many jokes of people, mostly women, with this hair color.

I believe these people are as smart as the rest, (which is even scientifically proven), but the jokes about them always make me laugh really hard.

This one, however, shows that blondes are witty and intelligent and won’t let anyone mess around with them.

A trucker came into a truck stop cafe and placed his order. “I want three flat tires, a pair of headlights and a pair of running boards.”

The brand new blonde waitress, not wanting to appear stupid, went to the Kitchen and said to the cook, “This guy out there just ordered three flat Tires, a pair of headlights and a pair of running boards.

What does he think this place is, an Auto Parts store?
“No,” the cook said. “Three flat tires mean three pancakes, a pair of Headlights is two eggs sunny side up, and running boards are 2 slices of Crisp bacon.”

“Oh , OK!” said the blonde. She thought about it for a moment and then Spooned up a bowl of beans and gave it to the customer.

The trucker asked, “What are the beans for, Blondie?”

She replied, “I thought while you were waiting for the flat tires, Headlights and running boards, you might as well gas up!”

Has this made you laugh?
