Harry might be looking for a “convenient excuse” to skip his late mother’s statue reveal ceremony

A lot has been going on between the members of the British royal family lately. From Harry and Meghan stepping down from their royal duties, to leaving The UK and moving to America and the now-infamous interview they had with Oprah, it all added to the strained relationship between Harry and the rest of the family.

The accusations made by the Sussexes left the royals speechless. They were having a hard time moving on from the claims made by Harry and Meghan, including revelations about the conversations senior royals had about how dark Archie’s skin might be and Kate making Meghan cry on her wedding day.

After the interview, a source told US Weekly: “The interview was the final nail, it’s over. Meghan burned all of her bridges and Kate has no interest in speaking to her.”

Initially, it was planned for Harry to travel back to Britain in June, for the reveal of his late mother’s statue that would mark what would have been her 60th birthday. However, Prince Philip’s passing forced him to meet his family earlier than planned.

While in UK, Harry met with his brother and father, who he claimed were trapped in the system during the Oprah interview, and although the public was hoping for the things between the three to get better, that didn’t happen.

Source told Radar Online that “the meeting after the family laid Prince Philip to rest was not scheduled. Harry felt ambushed by his dad and brother which is no way to start a peace process.”

Apparently, the meeting was “unproductive,” but experts now claim that Harry might be having second thoughts about splitting from the royals. “His heart is on two different sides of the Atlantic now,” Paul Burrel, Princess Diana’s butler of 10 years, told Closer. “Meghan will be faced with that dilemma – the bombshell that Harry now feels split in two.”

Despite that, other royal experts claim that Harry might be reconsidering seeing his family again in June for the statue reveal and will likely come up with a “convenient excuse.”

Russell Myers, royal editor at the Daily Mirror, said on talkRADIO, as quoted by the Express, “I’m told he is still committed to coming. Both camps are. Certainly Kate and William will welcome him if he wants to come back.”

“His intention is to come back. One may wonder, if his wife has just had a baby, I’m sure he could jump on a private jet and made a flying visit.”

“But, will it be a convenient excuse so he doesn’t have to come back and face the family?” he added.

The bond between siblings is the strongest and most profound there is. This relationship is deepened even further when a parent is lost. In tragic times like that, siblings get even more connected to one another because they feel the same heartache.

And this is true for anyone, no matter if you are an ordinary person or a member of the Rotalty.

On the day the Princess of the People, Lady Di, died, William and Harry lost their loving mother. She was loved by many because she was never afraid to stand for what she believed in. Her courage and heart of gold were something not many possess.

Today, however, the bond between the brothers is almost broken after Harry and wife Meghan decided to step down from their royal duties and move to the States, and later gave a bombshell interview during which they made accusations against the royal family, with Harry even saying that his father and brother are trapped in the system.

After the funeral of Prince Philip in April this year, it looked like the relationship could be fixed as Harry and William met after almost a year, but that wasn’t really the case.

Losing their mother was devastating for Harry and William. The sight of them walking behind her coffin broke millions of hearts.

After her passing, the young princes were allowed to choose an item from their mom’s personal jewelry collection to hold on to, as revealed by Princess Diana’s personal butler Paul Burrell in the Amazon Prime documentary The Diana Story. Paul recalled that Prince William was the first to choose. “I’d like mummy’s Cartier watch, the one that Grandpa Spencer gave to her for her 21st birthday,” he was reported to had said. Prince Harry chose his mom’s famous engagement ring. “I remember when I held mummy’s hand when I was a small boy and that ring always hurt me because it was so big,” Paul cited young Harry saying.

The two brothers now only had those pieces of jewelry and the memories to remind them of their mother.

Years later, when Prince William met Kate Middleton and knew she was the one, Harry believed she should have their mom’s ring. He knew that piece of jewelry was way too precious to Princess Diana and felt it should be passed on to someone just as special as Kate. Paul said of that touching moment, “Harry said to him: ‘Wouldn’t it be fitting if she had mummy’s ring? Then one day that ring will be sat on the throne of England.'”

William was honored and proposed to Kate in 2010 with that ring that still has a sentimental value for both the brothers.

William asked Kate to be his wife during a trip to Kenya and made whole Britain happy. Seeing him starting his own family filled people’s hearts with joy. Everyone knew his mother was watching from above and smiling.

The Prince spoke of the ring and told ABC News, “Well as you may recognize now, it’s my mother’s engagement ring and it’s very special to me, as Kate is very special to me now as well. It was only right the two were put together.”

“It was my way of making sure mother didn’t miss out on today and the excitement and the fact that we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together,” the prince added.

Harry himself wanted to honor his late mother when he got engaged to actress Megan Markle and designed the engagement ring himself.

The yellow-gold ring has three diamonds. The central stone is from Botswana, a place Prince Harry keeps close to his heart, and the diamonds on the sides belong to Princess Diana and are part of her personal collection.

Meghan said she was very happy and very honored to be having a ring that will always remind her of her husband’s mother, whom she never met, but Harry loves deeply. “It’s so important to me to – to know that she’s a part of this with us,” Meghan was reported saying.

Asked about what his late mother would think of his choice, Harry said smiling, “Oh they’d be thick as thieves, without question. I think she would be over the moon, jumping up and down, you know so excited for me, but then, as I said, would have probably been best friends – best friends with Meghan. So no it’s – you know it is days like – days like today when – when I really miss having her around and miss being able to share the happy news. But you know with the ring and with everything else that’s going on I’m sure she’s…”

Both Prince William and Prince Harry pay tribute to the People’s Princess whenever they have a chance.

This is a good joke and the kind you can think about later and start laughing or smiling about. ?♥️?

I would like to share it with you because it’s an absolutely hilarious one! Here’s what happened:

Two hillbillies had noticed a woman choking on her food by chance. But how they responded has the internet exploding in giggles!

As the two hillbillies walk into a local restaurant as they had decided to stop by for a bite to eat. While they dined, they talked about their moonshine operation.

All of a sudden, one woman sitting next to them (she had been eating a sandwich just right across their table) begun to cough. After one minute or so, she continued to do so. It became apparent that she was, actually in real distress.

One of the hillbillies became concerned, looked at her and asked: “Kin ya swallar?” The woman shook her head, signaling a no. Then he asks: “Kin ya breathe?” The woman has begun to turn blue in the face, but still somehow manages to shake her head once more.

The hillbilly then walked over to the woman, lifted up her dress, yanked down her drawers, and gave her right butt cheek a swift lick – with his tongue.

The woman became very shocked, so much so that she has a violent spasm, which caused her food obstruction to fly out of her mouth and out of her gullet. As she tries to breathe slowly and normally, the hillbilly walks away and back to his table.

His friend then told him: “Ya know, I’d heerd of that there ‘Hind Lick Maneuver’ but I never seed nobody done it.”

John Travolta opens up about the grief that followed after his wife’s passing: ‘Only your own journey can heal you’

John Travolta’s career spans many years over which he had played significant roles and has been part of iconic movies. He was, and probably still is, one of the Hollywood heartthrobs whose charm steals hearts.

Throughout his life, the Grease star suffered a number of tragedies which changed his entire life. Back in 2009, while on holiday in the Bahamas, his son Jett suffered a seizure and passed away. The actor and his wife Kelly Preston were heartbroken. Back then, he spoke of the loss to US Weekly and said: “It’s the worst thing that’s ever happened in my life. The truth is, I didn’t know if I was going to make it.”

Unfortunately, in July 2020, Travolta lost his beloved wife Kelly. She died of breast cancer that she fought against privately, out of the eyes of the public. After her passing, the actor shared the devastating news on Instagram. “My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, all the medical centers that have helped, as well as her many friends and loved ones who have been by her side. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered.”

Travolta and Preston were considered one of the most beautiful couples in Hollywood.

And as much as we want to believe that time is the best healer, the truth is that when we lose someone, we can never be the exact same people we were when our life was whole.

In the newest edition of Esquire Mexico, Travolta opened up about the grieving process after Kelly’s passing.

“I have learned that mourning someone, mourning, is personal,” Travolta told Esquire Spain. “Mourning is individual and only your own journey can heal you.”

“This is different from someone else’s journey. The most important thing you can do to help another when they are in mourning is to allow them to live it and not complicate it with yours. That’s my experience.”

Not having his beloved wife by his side, Travolta decided to dedicate his time to his children, Ella, 21, and Ben, 10. Ella is following into her parents’ footsteps and is choosing a career in acting.

That he is a very devoted father is something we can all see, and his latest commercial for the Super Bawl shows him doing some of his legendary dance moves together with his daughter.

“It was magical, because there is no one in the world with whom I wanted to dance more than with my daughter Ella,” he told Esquire.

“It worked on so many levels! First, as a unique piece of entertainment that people enjoyed watching; second, it allowed me to introduce my daughter to the whole world on a huge stage, show her talent and beauty; and it also became a beautiful tribute to his mother.”

We love John Travolta so very much and we hope he will be able to eventually overcome the grief that came with his wife’s passing.

John Travolta says dancing with Princess Diana at the White House felt like a “fairytale”

John Travolta dancing with Princess Diana remains up until this day one of the most iconic moments of pop culture.

Although he has shown his incredible dancing skills in a number of movies, including Grease, Saturday Night Fever, and Pulp Fiction, just to name a few, the actor had his most famous dance back in 1985 at the White House after he barely gathered courage to ask the Princess of the People for a dance.

During the White House state dinner hosted by then-President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan, Nancy approached the actor and told him that the Princess wanted to dance with him. We can only imagine the joy and excitement young Travolta felt at that particular moment when he was struggling to find the right words and invite Lady Di to the dance floor.

Last week, Travolta spoke to Esquire Mexico and recalled the iconic moment, comparing it to a fairytale.

As reported by People, the now 67-year-old actor said: “I didn’t think they’d ask me to dance with her. I had the great privilege and honor of doing so, and I thought, ‘There must be a reason for doing this and I better give it my all,'” he revealed. “That meant lead the dance well and make sure we had fun. That was the easy part, but just the fact of greeting Diana appropriately, being confident and asking her to dance was a complicated task.”

“Think of the setting. We were at the White House. It’s midnight. The stage is like a dream. I approach her, touch her elbow, invite her to dance,” he said. “She spins around and gives me that captivating smile, just a little sad, and accepts my invitation. And there we were, dancing together as if it were a fairytale.”

In 2016, during Good Morning America appearance, the Pulp Fiction star said that if he could bring anything back from the 80′, he would chose to have another dance with the royal.

Back in 2007, Travolta spoke to the Dutch TV station Één, saying: “I’ll never forget it,” he added. “I’m so honored that I was able to experience this, and I know for a fact that it was her highlight of being in the United States; it was her favorite moment. So I feel I made her life better, she made my life better, and I’m very sorry that she’s not here,” as per People.

Plumber took job at cancer-sick 91-year-old’s home, and his invoice is now going viral

If you feel like your faith in humanity has been lots, fear not, as 52-year-old plumber James Anderson is here to restore it.

This kind man with a heart of gold fixes things for vulnerable people without charging them any money.

He used to run a business that he shut down in order to create the non-for-profit company Depher.

Although he has been working for free for some time now, it wasn’t until recently that the story of his kindness spread across the country.

Namely, the bill he gave to a 91-year-old lady with acute-leukemia with total of zero dollars to charge was posted online by the woman’s daughter and vent viral.

On the bill, James, who is a father of five, wrote, “No charge for this lady under any circumstances. We will be available 24 hours to help her and keep her as comfortable as possible.”

“A lot of people close to me ask: why are you getting yourself in to debt? Why are you doing this?” he said.

“To me, debt is debt… I would rather owe some money to somebody and another person be alive and happy and safe.”

Since he started providing free or low-cost plumbing for those in need in 2017, his dept has risen to around $9,940. But he believes that it is nothing compared to the happiness of those he helps.

“It’s an ethos that’s in my heart and it will always stay there.”

Just recently, he decided to ask others to be part of his company so that more vulnerable citizens get the help they desperately need.

“I’ve spoken to quite a few engineers around the country and they’re all for it… it’s just getting the funding,” he said.

“I don’t want any person who is elderly and disabled in this country, in this day and age, to die or suffer because of a cold home or a lack of funding to repair the boiler.”

“It shouldn’t be happening – that number should be down to zero. Simple as that.”

Since his invoice went viral, many people became familiar with his work and James was able to raise $100,000 in donations. He’s no longer struggling to keep his non-profit afloat. 

James really is a very special person. Nowadays, it’s very rare to meet someone who puts the happiness of others above their own, but James is a proof that those people do exist and make this world a much better place.

Autistic boy is devastated after his plants get stolen but is sure the cops will help him find them

Officer Rule from the North Bend Police Department went an extra mile for a 4-year-old autistic boy who was saddened because the peppers he was growing got stolen.

Sweet Johnny from Oregon was taking care of his pepper plants and made sure he was checking on them every single day, until one morning when he noticed that they were missing. Johnny felt devastated. He wanted his plants back and couldn’t imagine who could have possibly taken them from the garden.

His parents alerted the police of the incident and Johnny was sure the officers would go above and beyond to find his pepper plants. “Don’t worry, mommy and daddy, the cops will catch him, and they’ll bring my peppers back,” the sweet boy said.

Officer Rule didn’t discover who was the person behind the stealing, but that didn’t prevent him from putting a smile on little Johnny’s face. This incredible man brought Johnny even bigger pepper plant than the one he had.

Thanks to Officer Rule, everything in Johnny’s world seemed right again.

Tiny-home village offering housing gives homeless people the chance to get back on their feet again

The reasons why people end up being homeless are various. According to The National Homelessness Law Center, the top causes of homelessness are lack of affordable housing, unemployment, poverty, mental illness and lack of needed services, and substance abuse.

Based on a number of reports by different organizations, the number of people who didn’t have roof over their head and experienced homelessness on a given night between 2007 and 2020 is 580,466.

It is very obvious that the country struggles to find a solution for this issue, and a woman named Debbie O’Malley, Bernalillo County Commissioner, seems to have found a way to reduce the number of homeless people.

Her idea of a tiny-home community is now a reality and functions perfectly.

The village of tiny homes was built on an unused lot. Those sharing the homes have their ow bed, a fully-stocked kitchen, and a bathroom.

The project started back in 2016, after the voters at the council approved $2 million bond and was only able to be finished in February of this year all thanks to the help of the community. It took that much time because the team working on the project faced a number of challenges, and that included finding a location. Luckily, the Albuquerque Indian Center agreed to lease their land.

“I hope that people see the story and they see what’s happening and they’re like, ‘You know what, we could support something like this in our community,’” Debbie says.

Those renting the homes are only supposed to pay $30 per month and the idea isn’t for them to stick around for long. Debbie believes that providing the homeless with a place to stay and shower would increase their chances of finding a job and getting back on track.
