Husband labelled ‘immature, insensitive idiot’ after ‘joking’ about wife’s ‘traumatic’ birthing experience

Children are a blessing from God. A mother is no less than a miracle who gives birth to new lives with pain and strength. What happens in the labor room is just between the wife, husband and the doctors and nobody else’s business.

People are assuring a woman that her angry reaction was justified after she revealed that she yelled at her husband during a New Year’s Eve celebration with his family because he joked about her “traumatic” birthing experience.

In the post, the 25-year-old woman explained that she gave birth to the couple’s daughter a few weeks ago, and that, because it was her first child, she hadn’t known what to expect and the experience had been “pretty traumatic”:

I f25 gave birth to my daughter weeks ago, My experience was pretty traumatic and since it was my first, I had no clue what to expect. Forgive me for the vague details for privacy but I’ll mention all the relevant stuff, I promise.

When I went into labor I had the most difficult time of my life, I was in pain for hours. My mom was with me but she had to go and my husband was with me the entire time. I did something so embarrassing in the delivery room, I pooped myself which was unexpected and just…

I don’t know but it was embarrassing and although my medical team were very professional about it, my husband couldn’t help himself and started laughing about it later and even telling my family about it but they didn’t react, just didn’t find it funny and neither did I, In fact, I found it embarrassing and I already told him to stop bringing it up especially when he started joking about getting me diapers for my “opsies!!”. It got really tiring and chipped away from my self esteem and confidence.

We were with his parents celebrating new year’s eve together when I excused myself to the bathroom. While I was getting up he made a quick remark and said “oh yeah, you should go quickly because we don’t want any accidents just like the one we had at the hospital, you know what I mean?” While blinking at me. His family actually laughed and BIL commented “good one!”.

I was astonished and so angry and ashamed, I literally just lost it on him and yelled at the top of my lungs calling him a cruel insensitive jerk for using the difficult experience of birthing his child as a joking matter and humiliating me in front of everybody. He was shocked, staring back at me and not saying a word. All went silent and I just stormed off to the bathroom til we left and that was when he snapped saying I messed up by talking to him like that in front of his family during dinner, I said I couldn’t hold my tongue for that long and after he kept joking about an embarrassing thing when I told him to stop.

He said he was just joking and I went overboard with my reaction and also, I should’ve sucked it up and waited til we got home so we could address this privately and I could even yell at him as long as I wanted. We argued about it after we got home and he kept saying I humiliated him in front of his family during the celebratory evening by being petty and trying to one up him… He even said I should’ve laughed along and not fly off the handle like that.

The argument didn’t end there, as she explained: “We argued about it after we got home and he kept saying I humiliated him in front of his family during the celebratory evening by being petty and trying to one up him…
“He even said I should’ve laughed along and not fly off the handle like that.”
The woman ended the post asking people if she overreacted, but the vast majority were firmly on her side of the argument.

One person wrote: “NTA (not the asshole). What a cruel and immature joke to make, ask him to push a watermelon out his dick and see if he can do it without any ‘embarrassing accidents’.”
Another agreed, commenting: “NTA what the hell? So he can humiliate you by ‘joking’ in front of his entire family about a deeply private, personal and traumatic experience that you have ALREADY ASKED HIM to stop making remarks about, but if you call him out on it in front of those same people, somehow you’re at fault.”
Some also pointed to the fact that it’s common for women to have similar accidents during childbirth and it is completely normal.

One person replied: “Nope, NTA. Your husband is an immature, insensitive jerk. Pooping yourself during birth is quite normal, but to make fun of you about it is not cool.”
Someone else agreed, writing: “NTA. Pooping during labour is natural and expected by the doctors/midwives, that’s why they don’t bat an eyelid when it happens.

“Your husband is definitely TA (the asshole) and needs to grow the hell up and understand that you and your body have been through a traumatic experience.
“He should be supporting you, not bringing you down. You need to tell him that he’s acting like an immature child who is fascinated by poop!”

‘I hope you’re happy’: Scorned lover takes down cheating ex

Revenge is a dish best served cold … or in a newspaper’s ad page, using your cheating ex’s credit card.

In some bonafide locals-only drama, a woman named Jenny has absolutely rinsed a man called Steve in the form of a full-page newspaper ad. And this, my friends, is why print will never die.

Readers of Mackay and Whitsunday Life in Queensland’s east got a shock when they picked up their Friday edition and saw a full-page ad from a scorned lover called Jenny.

“Dear Steve, I hope you’re happy with her,” the open letter read.

Now the whole town will know what a filthy cheater you are. From Jenny.

“P.S. I bought this ad using your credit card.”

Mackay and Whitsunday Life have been inundated with “dozens” of messages since the shocking letter went to print on page four.

“We do not know who Steve is, but apparently he’s been very very bad,” the newspaper said.

“We won’t be revealing any details about Jenny.”

But unfortunately the final piece of Jenny’s revenge seems to have not been pulled off.

“We have not charged the credit card in question,” Mackay and Whitsunday Life said.

But Jenny’s actions were met with praise from her legion of new-found fans.

“Jenny sounds like someone I want to be friends with,” one person said.

“Not all heroine‘s wear capes. Jenny is my new favourite person,” said another.

“Couldn’t love this more if I tried LOL… Good on you Jenny,” proclaimed another amused commenter.

The public were not as kind to Steve however.

“Never trust a Steve,” one said.

“I would have charged the card,” another person brutally said.

“Everyone who knows a Steve and Jenny have suddenly sat up and taken notice,” someone joked.

All the beefing celebrity couples of the world have nothing on Jenny and Steve. Sorry Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, you’ve absolutely been bested here.

Will we get a follow-up ad from Steve I wonder? Only time will tell. But consider this your reminder to support local news and of course, local drama.

Share if this make you laugh.

Mom gives up child in wheelchair for adoption, 18 years later sees her walking out of luxe car

Sarah Karmel was an ambitious young and beautiful lady who always dreamed big. She wanted to make it to Hollywood, but this wanna be actress soon started hanging with influential people and ended up pregnant.

When she realized she was carrying a child and that her dreams could be crushed, she felt devastated. Her only thought was to get rid of the child, but at that stage of the pregnancy, that was impossible.

All Sarah was interested in was to get back to the parties and the fun life she led before and do all in her power to become famous. She, however, ended up working as a waitress at a downtown 24-hour diner.

She was determined to put the baby up for adoption the moment she was born, but it was then that her mother learned of Sarah’s condition and made her change her mind.

The thing was that Sarah’s mother loved the thought of being a grandma and offered to cover all the expenses about the child and even pay rent and hire a nanny. “I will pay the rent,” Sarah’s mom said. “And I’ll give you an allowance, so you can look after the baby… Please, Sarah, don’t give the little one away! It’s your baby.”

Sarah agreed to keep the baby. She was getting money from her mom and could afford the life she always dreamed of while her mom took care of her baby daughter Mia.

Unfortunately, around the time Mia turned four, Sarah’s mom passed away. She left Sarah plenty of money, but she was careless and spent it very quickly. What she could live out of for years got wasted in a matter of months.

One day, as Mia was playing with her friends at the park, she fell off a climbing frame and injured her spine. When she regained her consciousness, she was at the hospital, unable to move her legs.

Doctors had devastating news. Without surgeries and intensive rehab, Mia wouldn’t be able to walk ever again. Of course, those surgeries and treatments cost plenty of money, and Sarah wasn’t willing to pay for anything. Instead, she simply disappeared and was nowhere to be found when she learned how much Mia’s surgeries would cost. She provided the hospital with a fake address and contact number. A few days later, the hospital received a notarized declaration which said that she’s declining any responsibility for Mia and that she was giving her up for adoption.

It was pediatrician Anna Joubert who broke the news to Mia. The child was devastated, to say the least. “My mom’s not coming back?” she asked in a state of shock. “Is it because I’m broken? Please tell her I’ll get well! I will!”

These words touched Dr. Joubert to the core. It was then that she decided to treat Mia as her own and cover all costs regarding her healing. Eventually, she and her husband adopted Mia and helped her walk again.

Years later, when Mia turned 18, she and her adoptive parents were headed to a nice restaurant to celebrate Mia’s graduation from law school with highest honors.

Mia turned into a gorgeous young lady, with long legs and blonde hair. She truly resembled a princess.

As she and her mom and dad stepped out of the limo, they spotted a homeless woman begging for money in front of the place. When the woman saw Mia, who was wearing designer clothes and expensive jewelry, she thought she was an easy target.

When Mia’s mom took the wallet out to hand the woman some money, Mia took her hand and told her not to do it. She recognized the woman, it was Sarah, her birth mother.

“You?” she asked. “Mom, is that you?” to what Sarah replied, “No, honey, I’m not your mom. Nice, pretty girl like you? Only had one kid, and she was a useless cripple!”

“That would be me,” Mia said calmly. “I’m the useless cripple. Or I was. As you can see, I’ve recovered, thanks to my parents.”

“Please,” Sarah said, clutching at Mia’s arm. “Please help me out! You can afford it. With those fancy clothes and jewelry? You struck it lucky with those two — and you can thank me for it!”

“Thank you?” asked Mia. “Yes, I can thank you for all the nights I cried, wondering why I didn’t deserve your love, believing I deserved to be abandoned. Here, mother, here are my thanks.”

Mia then took out a $20 bill and put it in Sarah’s hand. She then entered the place with the two people who gave her a new lease on life and meant the world to her, her adoptive parents.

Jennifer Aniston’s mom left the actress nothing when she died, source claims

Friends, one of the best and most iconic sitcoms ever made, helped turn the cast into worldwide stars. The series, which ran for 10 years, follows the life of six friends from New York. They are all quite different in character but function perfectly as a group. Each of the characters is very relatable and much loved by the wide audience.

The series finale aired on May 6, 2004, and was watched by around 52.5 million American viewers, making it the fifth-most-watched series finale in the history of television.

Jennifer Aniston, who played the role of Rachel Greene, rose to fame with this role. Adored by millions, Rachel’s fashion style triggered a whole new trend, including the famous long bob hairstyle.

Steve Granitz/WireImage

Born to parents who were actors themselves, it wasn’t surprising Aniston chose the same career. Her mother, Nancy Dow, was a prominent actress, and her father, John Aniston, has been a huge star on soap operas. He played on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives for which he earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2017.

While she was still pretty young, Aniston’s father abandoned the family. Although she was mad at him at times, the actress said she didn’t hold grudges towards him.

“There are people in my life that are like, ‘How do you even talk to that guy?’ But what’s the point of holding on to [anger]? That’s so toxic,” she told the Hollywood Reporter in 2015. “We’re human beings. Human beings make mistakes. Human beings are not perfect. And by not forgiving someone, it’s not allowing human beings to evolve and become better people.”

Barry King/Liaison

Aniston and her brother John stayed with their mother, but Aniston’s relationship with her was always a struggling one. They hadn’t spoken in many years, but Aniston still paid all her mother’s medical expenses during the final years of her life. Nancy Dow died at the age of 79 due to several health issues in 2016.

“It is with great sadness that my brother John and I announce the passing of our Mother Nancy Dow,” Aniston and her brother John announced in a statement. “She was 79 years old and passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends after enduring a long illness. We ask that our family’s privacy be respected as we grieve our loss.”

Warner Brothers Television/Fotos International/Courtesy of Getty Images

According to In Touch Weekly, Aniston didn’t inherit anything from her mother after her passing. Instead, Dow left her money to one of her relatives, along with a collection of her personal writings about her famous actress daughter. “Nancy wrote down everything about Jen, and that material is now in the hands of someone who could profit from it,” a source claimed. “She was a penny-pincher, and the alimony she received from Jen’s dad, John [Aniston], was pretty much never touched.”

Aniston didn’t make any comments regarding these claims. She, however, spoke of the relationship between her and her mother in the past.

Asked by Sandra Bullock for Interview Magazine how she’s always positive, Aniston said: “I think that it comes from growing up in a household that was destabilized and felt unsafe, watching adults being unkind to each other, and witnessing certain things about human behavior that made me think: “’I don’t want to do that, I don’t want to be that.’”

Youtube/HBO

At the time she embarked on her Friends adventure, the relationship between Aniston and her mother became even more complicated. It all culminated when Dow published her memoir From Mother and Daughter to Friends: A Memoir.

Apparently, according to Dow, Aniston didn’t live up to her expectations, which left the Horrible Bosses star with “deep wounds.”

“She was from this world of, ‘Honey, take better care of yourself,’ or ‘Honey put your face on,’ or all of those odd sound bites that I can remember from my childhood,” Aniston told Elle Magazine.

She would say things like, “You have a big nose,” and whenever Aniston tried to respond to the criticism she was silenced so she somehow learned to live with the mean comments.

“My mom said those things because she really loved me. It wasn’t her trying to be a b***h or knowing she would be making some deep wounds that I would then spend a lot of money to undo. She did it because that was what she grew up with.”

At least they managed to smooth things down before Dow’s passing.

Scientists discover something disturbing in human blood

After thorough research, scientists are overwhelmed to discover particles in the human blood and we humans are the ones to be blamed for this highly disturbing discovery.

It was determined that the tiny particles, which were traced in the blood of around 80% of the people who took part in the study, come from the air, as well as all from the summit of Mount Everest to the deepest oceans.

That humans, as well as animals, consume tiny particles of plastic through food and water is not something new having in mind the fact that the planet we live in is highly polluted and full of waste. These particles have previously been discovered in humans’ and babies’ faeces.

The results of the research show that in half of the blood samples taken from 22 healthy individuals, 17 of which were positive to presence of plastic, there were parts of PET plastic which is prevalent in drink bottles. 1/3 of them contained polystyrene, used for packaging food and products, and a quarter of the blood samples contained polyethylene, the most commonly produced plastic.

Professor Dick Vethaak, an ecotoxicologist at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in the Netherlands, gave an insight into the result of the research and explained, “Our study is the first indication that we have polymer particles in our blood – it’s a breakthrough result. But we have to extend the research and increase the sample sizes, the number of polymers assessed, etc.”

However, this is just a start, as further research needs to be conducted.

“It is certainly reasonable to be concerned,” Vethaak said in an interview with the Guardian“The particles are there and are transported throughout the body.”

“We also know in general that babies and young children are more vulnerable to chemical and particle exposure,” he added. “That worries me a lot.”

The number of plastic particles in the blood samples of the participants varied. Since this is a pioneering study, we are yet to learn more and investigate what exactly this means for humans in the long run.

“The big question is what is happening in our body?” Vethaak said. “Are the particles retained in the body? Are they transported to certain organs, such as getting past the blood-brain barrier?” And are these levels sufficiently high to trigger disease? We urgently need to fund further research so we can find out.”

Further, in a review paper, professor Vethaak wrote about the risk of cancer. “More detailed research on how micro- and nano-plastics affect the structures and processes of the human body, and whether and how they can transform cells and induce carcinogenesis, is urgently needed, particularly in light of the exponential increase in plastic production. The problem is becoming more urgent with each day.”

This is really huge and should serve as a wake-up call for humanity to undertake immediate action regarding air pollution and proper waste disposal. Planet Earth is suffocating on our watch and that needs to change as soon as possible!

Olivia Newton-John’s daughter shares heartbreaking post following her mom’s passing as old interview reveals what she thought of the afterlife

Besides being a huge, huge star and someone millions of fans throughout the world admired for her happy spirit, her dazzling smile, and the positive energy she radiated whenever she went, late singer and actress Olivia Newton-John was before everything else a mother.

Her daughter Chloe Lattanzi, who has inherited her mother’s beauty and music talent, and who is following into her footsteps, posted an incredibly touching video of the two performing the song Window in the Wall together. The song is a tribute of the love they felt for one another, and now it was shared on Instagram as a tribute to Newton-John, whom Chloe describes as the mother everyone wishes for.

“Has this world forgotten how to love,” the lyrics read. “Are we blinded by the hate we leave inside? No one is giving in or giving up. The lines are drawn and there is no compromise. This isn’t who we are…”

In the Instagram caption, Chloe wrote, “You are my lighthouse mama. My safe place. My heart space. It has been my honor and continues to be my honor to be your baby and best friend. You are an angel on earth and everyone touched by you has been blessed. I love you forever my life-giver, my teacher, my mama.”

Olivia Newton-John passed away on monday, August 8, after a lengthy battle with breast cancer. It was her husband who shared the devastating news on the social media.

“Dame Olivia Newton-John (73) passed away peacefully at her Ranch in Southern California this morning, surrounded by family and friends. We ask that everyone please respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time,” the statement began.

“Olivia has been a symbol of triumphs and hope for over 30 years sharing her journey with breast cancer. Her healing inspiration and pioneering experience with plant medicine continues with the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, dedicated to researching plant medicine and cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in her memory to the @onjfoundation.”

In the past, newton-John spoke of her relationship with Chloe and said the two were very close and that bond became even stronger during the pandemic when they spent most of their time together.

“I worked my whole life, and the longest period I can remember being home was my pregnancy with Chloe and the first year or two of her life. So it’s been wonderful reconnecting with my baby. She is my reason to be.”

Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer three times during her life and she battled the disease for many, many years. In an interview with A Life of Greatness podcast, Newton-John spoke of her diagnosis and how she contemplated her death.

“I have quite a few times,” she said, adding that it was “sooner than I would have wanted. I mean — we all know we are going to die. I think we spend our lives probably much in denial of it.”

“What I feel about it is extremely personal, so I find it hard to put into words. I believe that we are all part of one thing,” Newton-John continued.

“I’ve had experiences with — how can I put it? — spirits or spirit life or felt the spirit world or have heard things that I believe there is something that happens. It’s almost like we are parts of a big computer and we go back to the main battery. I don’t have a definite definition of what it is. Some people call it ‘heaven.’ Some call it ‘the universe.’ I just think there is a great knowingness out there that we become part of.”

In that same interview, she shared her thoughts about afterlife saying that all versions of what people believe afterlife to be “seem to have the same ending. Either we come back as something else or we go to heaven or we join others in the spirit world. But most humans want to believe that we go on.”

“I don’t know if that is so,” she continued. ”I hope that I can let people know when it happens if it is.”

Rest in Peace, Olivia Newton-John.

Boy got accompanied by 24 police officers on his first day of school

Losing a parent can be devastating for a child, especially when they are still very young and unable to understand why their mom or dad is no longer around. But you know what they say, it takes a village to raise a child, and the colleagues of a police officer named Justin Scherlan, who lost his life due to complications of an old injury he sustained while on duty, prove this to be right.

As the fellow officer left this world way too soon and his four kids were left without a father, over two dozen officers from the Amarillo Police Department in Texas decided to step in for the children and escorted to school so that they knew they were not alone.

Neither the kids, nor their mom Jessica was aware of the big surprise.

The most special of all was the surprise for little Jackson, who started first grade. It was his first ever day to school and it meant the world to him that he wasn’t alone on his special day.

Officer Jeb Hilton shared with TODAY that “everyone was having a terrible time regulating their emotions that day.”

He added that “it was simply one of those moments that truly grabs your heart, plus the fact that the family was startled to see everybody there.”

As he arrived at school, sweet Jackson took his time to thank each of the officers separately by giving them a hug as they stood in a line at the school’s corridor.

Officer Hilton said,“It was Jackson’s very first day of school ever, so we really wanted to be there for him and support him.”

This was a clear message that these officers will always be there for the Scherlan family.

“We spend a lot of time with each other on the job and go through a lot of difficult situations. We consider ourselves family, and we absolutely wanted to step in there and show their family that they will be taken care of,” officer Hilton said.

Isn’t this one of the most touching gestures you’ve ever witnessed?

Olivia Newton-John’s final photo is a burst of pure joy and a reminder of her happy spirit

Olivia Newton-John will always be remembered as someone who radiated joy with her presence. Her gorgeous smile triggered millions more, and her stunning beauty, along with her immense music and acting talent, turned her into an icon of the ’70s and the ’80s.

Her family announced her passing on Monday, August 8, via a statement her husband posted on the social media. The singer and actress battled cancer a great part of her life. She passed away from breast cancer surrounded by her family and friends.

David Redfern/Redferns

Among the rest, Newton-John would always be remembered by the iconic role of transfer student Sandy who fell for the greaser Danny Zuko. Grease helped Newton-John raise to stardom and become an American sweetheart. The musical itself turned into a true classic and was the highest-grossing film of the year, becoming the highest-grossing movie musical of all time, a record it held for decades.

”I don’t think anyone could have imagined a movie would go on almost 40 years and would still be popular and people would still be talking to me about it all the time and loving it,” Newton-John told CNN in 2017. “It’s just one of those movies. I’m very lucky to have been a part of it. It’s given so many people pleasure.”

As a singer, she won four Grammy Awards and got a star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“I’m so lucky that I’ve been through this three times and I’m still here. I’m living with it. It’s just reinforced my gratitude,” she told 60 Minutes Australia when speaking of her breast cancer diagnosis.

“We know we’re gonna die at some point, and we don’t know when it is. When you’re given a cancer diagnosis or a scary honest diagnosis, you’re suddenly given a possibility of a time limit,” she explained. “So every day is a gift.”

Ever since she was diagnosed for the third time, Newton-John stepped out of the limelight and didn’t share many photos of her, except for throwback pictures of her younger days.

In 2018, she and Travolta put on their costumes from the time they filmed Grease and walked the red carpet and danced the moves for the 40th screening anniversary of their smash-hit.

“First time in costume since we made the movie,” Newton-John captioned a photo on her Instagram and added: “So excited!!”

Travolta, who has been her friend until the very and said of his co-star, “Olivia is a survivor and she’s smart and she’s got a lot of life in her and I think she looks at it from the glass half full always and that’s her beautiful, natural approach towards life and I think we all need to do that.”

When she passed away, he shared a heartfelt tribute on the social media. Along with a photo of the two, the actor wrote, “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!” He signed the post, “Your Danny, your John!”

Newton-John was married to husband John Easterling, an American businessman and environmentalist. The two tied the knot in 2008.

“I’m very lucky I have a wonderful, beautiful husband who is just so loving and fantastic,” she told People in 2016.

”I always tell my friends you’re never too old to find love. I found the love of my life at 59 going on 60! I’m grateful.”

On the rare occasions when she posted new photos of herself during the last couple of years, Newton-John always wore her dazzling smile. In December 2021, she posted a photo, wishing everyone happy holidays.

On April 18, 2022, to the delight of her many fans, the actress posted her most recent photo on Instagram, smiling and full of joy.

Her passing comes right before the release of a series that was supposed to be a prequel to Grease called ‘Rise of the Pink Ladies.’

This incredible woman lived her life to the fullest and was a true fighter and we will always remember her as such.

Rest in peace.
