Elephants are very special creatures. During years of extensive research and observation, scientists have discovered that elephants’ mourning pattern is very similar to that of humans.
Speaking to National Geographic, George Wittemyer, a Colorado State University conservation biologist who has studied elephants for a long time, said, “Elephants have respect for their dead, but their interaction with their dead is not something we fully understand.”
He added that these creatures act upon emotion when a member of their herd dies, which is truly fascinating and speaks of their emotional inteligence.
Twitter user Parveen Kaswan shared a video which proved yet again that elephants are able to mourn death. They not only bury the bodies but show respect to the bones later on.
The video shows a number of people and vehicles parked in the middle of the road. The reason why is that a herd of elephants is crossing the street.
What caught the attention of the bystanders was that one of the elephants was carrying something with its trunk. When they took a closer look, they realized that the animal was carrying a dead baby elephant.
The herd then stopped and placed the body of the dead calf on the ground as the rest of the group gathered around it.
“The family just don’t want to leave the baby,” Kaswan wrote in the caption and added that the sight resembled “funeral procession.”
As they continued their journey, another animal took the dead baby with its trunk.

In today’s world, body shaming is something plenty of people face. It seems that the way someone looks on the outside is all that matters. Sadly, it looks like a lot of time needs to pass until we finally stop being superficial and start appreciating people for who they are, not the way they look.
Mahogany Geter, a young woman from Knoxville, Tennessee, was diagnosed with lymphedema, a long-term (chronic) condition that causes swelling in the body’s tissues due to accumulation of protein-rich fluid that’s usually drained through the body’s lymphatic system. Sadly, modern medicine still hasn’t found cure for this condition.
In Mahogany’s case, the fluids are build up in her leg, which makes it extremely big. As a result, this woman gets mocked by strangers who give themselves the right to judge her and call her names.
Recently, the 23-year-old posted a video as a reaction to the hurtful comments she has been getting on the social media.
In the caption, she included some of the mean words she has been told, such as “Why don’t you amputate your leg, ‘it will look better.’”
As she has lived with the condition her entire life, she got used to the fact that there will always be those who would judge her. “It has been so hard to rise above these mean people, but I have no other choice,” Mahogany wrote.
This young woman has been struggling to “feel pretty” her entire life.
“I used to think God had cursed me,” she said. “I felt ugly, like a freak of nature, and cried in private so many times. Then I decided that I was given this condition because I am emotionally strong and I can handle it.”
In order to feel better, Mahogany uses physical therapy and she spends her spare time listening to music, drawing, and creating content on TikTok and YouTube.
“It does get frustrating dealing with flare-ups because I just want to live my life more freely, and it feels like I can’t,” she says.
It is her wish to be able to buy a house for her mother and to raise awareness about the condition she suffers from.
Considered the “Goddess of Pop” by the media, Cher, who is an incredibly versatile woman, has had her fair share in a number of different areas of entertainment. She has adopted a variety of styles and appearances throughout her six-decade-long career and stunned her fans over and over again.
At the age of just 16, she married her first husband, Sonny Bono, with whom she stayed together for six years before calling their marriage quits. Cher welcomed daughter Chasity Bono who transitioned into a man later in life.
Just four days after she officially divorce Sonny, Cher married her second husband, Gregg Allman, with whom she has son Elijah Blue Allman, professionally known as P. Exeter Blue, the lead vocalist, guitarist and lyricist of the industrial metal band Deadsy.
She then went on to date other people and her most recent relationship has caused quite a stir.
Rumors were that the 76 years old singer has been dating music producer Alexander Edwards, who is 40 years her junior.
Cher herself confirmed those rumors to be true.
Last week, she tweeted, “One part of my life is SO AMAZING,” which made her fans curious. Shortly after, she posted a photo of Alexander and added a heart emoji.
She confessed she had already introduced him to her family and added that “love doesn’t know math!”
The couple reportedly met during Paris Fashion Week in October and started dating shortly after.
As her fans are happy she found love, many seem to be overly protective of the singer and see Alexander as a potential trait. In response to those comments, Cher wrote, “As we All Know …I WASN’T BORN YESTERDAY,& What I Know For Sure…There Are No Guarantees. Anytime you make a Choice You Take a Chance. I’ve Always Taken Chances…It’s WHO I Am.”
Cher remains one of the greatest female vocals the world has ever seen, and Alexander is pretty famous and successful in his own right. At just 36, he is the vice president of A&R, the famous record label which boasts a roster of musicians including Rihanna, Nas, Public Enemy and Justin Bieber.
He shares a child with former partner Amber Rose, a model. They split in 2021.
What do you think of Cher’s new love?

Jenny Marr was 34 when she and her husband decided it was time for a baby. But things didn’t go as planned and they only learned they were expecting a year later.
They would have been more than happy with one baby, but what life had in store for them shook their world for the better.
When the time came for them to hear their little one’s heartbeat for the first time, Dr. Murray revealed something extraordinary.
“Dr. Murray began doing the sonogram, and all of a sudden she got this funny look on her face and turned the screen away from us,” said Jenny. “I immediately started thinking something was wrong with the heartbeat. I told her it was okay and that she could tell me if there was a problem.”
“Oh no, there’s definitely a heartbeat,” the doctor responded. “Actually, there are three babies in there.”
A week later, another sonogram revealed yet another baby. The Marrs were about to become parents of four.
“It sounds horrible to say, but I don’t know if it was necessarily tears of joy. We were completely overwhelmed and frankly, terrified,” Chris Marr, Jenny’s husband, said.
“The fact that we didn’t have any medical intervention, and no history of multiples in either of our families, made the news a total shock,” Jenny added.
They didn’t use any fertility treatments but conceived naturally and the chances for that are extremely slim. What is even rarer is that the babies, Harrison, Hardy, Henry and Hudson, are identical monochorionic quadruplets. So far, there have been only 72 such cases recorded in the world’s medical literature.
We are so happy for this beautiful family of 7, yes, the family’s dog Zeke makes another member.

Becoming parents is what most couples dream of so when they learn they are expecting, they are overjoyed and looking forward to the new chapter in their lives.
Jocelyn and Ignacio Robertson, a couple from North America, were about to become parents for the first time. Jocelyn fell pregnant shortly after tying the knot.
The pregnancy went well and each ultrasound showed the baby was developing the way it should. But then, just days before she was supposed to give birth, Jocelyn noticed she was bleeding.
As she got concerned for the baby, she called her husband and asked him to get home as soon as possible. He rushed her to the hospital, but there, they received shocking news. The baby’s heartbeat wasn’t present. As they couldn’t believe what they heard, they asked for a second opinion but the outcome was the same. The baby died in the womb in the ninth month of pregnancy.
Jocelyn was then forced to undergo a C-section.
She was devastated and had a hard time accepting the reality.
But then, something extraordinary happened. Something doctors dubbed a miracle.
Once the baby was out, they could hear he was breathing. In a matter of minutes, the little one was transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit where his breathing and heartbeats improved even further.
When they first held it in their arms, the proud parents said, “We just became aware of it at that time. It is a miracle that Noah is here, and I will be eternally grateful.”
Just days later, he was able to be taken home by his mom and dad.

Actor Michael Douglas shared a video on Instagram in which he wished his fans a good week, but what they couldn’t help but notice is his bold new look.
Michael’s long hair, which is dyed in a shade of ginger color, raised a few eyebrows and people’s opinions of whether the change suits him right or not are divided.
The Fatal Attraction star, 78, didn’t address the change in appearance but as many fans reminded him that he’s their favorite actor, others questioned his choices.
“Sorry Michael, the hair makes you look older not to mention the wrinkles. Go dye your hair back to grey and get a haircut,” one person wrote. “Your dyed red hair looks hideous. You look good with grey hair. Hope the dyed hair was for a movie or t.v. role you’re filming,” another added.
“Men – go figure. MD has wonderful hair for a guy his age, and looked handsome naturally silver – you do not look younger MD with ginger hair, simply odd? That said, your head, your hair, your weird color scheme,” a third commented.
There were also those who said they loved Michael’s new look.
Recently, Michael and his better half, gorgeous actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, celebrated their birthdays, 78 and 53 respectively. The pair shares same birth date. They celebrated with a huge chocolate cake and both of them posted photos of the joyous occasion.
“Thank you all for the kind birthday messages! We love you all,” Michael captioned the photo, to which his wife replied: “So much fun sharing my birthday with you.”

The Kennedys are without a doubt one of the most famous American families ever. When John Kennedy became the president of the country, people felt a pleasant change. He was loved by millions and appreciated by even more. His presidency was referred to as the “Camelot Presidency,” because it brought hope to many young politicians.
His wife, Jackie Kennedy became a national treasure. She was a supremely stylish and eloquent young woman who spread optimism when she took the role of FLOTUS.
Since they had toddlers, Jackie went on a mission to restore and preserve the White House as well as turn it into more children-friendly place with a tree-house and swings.
Once her work on the White House was done, she gave a tour of the place broadcast by CBS and watched by over 80 million people. For her work, Jackie won herself an honorary Emmy Award.

When John became a president, his daughter Caroline was just four years old. The Kennedys had three children together, with their son Patrick Bouvier passing at just two days old.
Speaking of the time her father was the President, Caroline recalled how she would go to his office every morning where she was “making construction paper necklaces, eating candy, and running around his desk.”

The entire country mourned the loss of their beloved president and Jackie was left to raise her children all by herself while her family remained the center of attention.
In order to provide some privacy for Caroline and John F. Kennedy Jr., Jackie moved to Georgetown and later to New York City.
“She was absolutely protective of us,” Caroline told The Boston Globe when speaking of her mother, adding that Jackie’s kids were “the most important thing to her.”
Caroline started school and then attended Radcliffe College, which is now part of Harvard, for her undergraduate studies. She got interested in photography and went on to intern at the New York Daily News. At the same time, she worked as apolitical intern for her uncle, U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy, during the summers.

When she started her internship at the magazine, no one saw her as Caroline but as the daughter of the late president and people were in a way intimidated by her.
Sadly, no matter how much she enjoyed being a photographer, she was forced to quit because “she could never make her living observing other people because they were too busy watching her.”
Caroline earned her bachelor’s degree in 1988 and started working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. At the same time, she was appointed president of the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial support, creative resources, and staffing to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
She served as a member of the national board of directors for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, and as chief executive for the New York City Department of Education Office of Strategic Partnerships, among the rest.

Her role in politics became bigger and bigger. Allegedly, when Hillary Clinton ran for President, Caroline was in the race for her spot in the Senate, but later withdrew because of reasons unknown.
In 2013, Caroline was appointed U.S. ambassador to Japan, a position she held until 2017. She was appointed the United States Ambassador to Australia in May 2022.
Speaking of her father and the role he played in the American history, Caroline told CNN, “He is a historical figure.
“I miss him every day of my life. But, growing up without him was made easier thanks to all of the people who kept him in their hearts.”

When it comes to her personal life, Caroline tends to keep it private, if that’s even possible.
She has been married to husband Edwin Schlossberg since 1963. Schlossberg has served as part of the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, after being appointed by former President Barack Obama. He has written 11 books and has a Ph.D. in Science and Literature from Columbia University. One thing we know about him is that he doesn’t want to be under the spotlight.
“Publicity doesn’t interest me,” he told Chicago Tribune. “The thing that interests me is work. We’re living in a culture that if you spend a lot of time thinking about what other people think about you, it distracts you from what you care about. I like what I do, and that’s what interests me.”
The couple raised three children together, Rose, and actress, Tatiana, an environmental journalist, and Jack, who is a lawyer and graduate of Harvard Law and Harvard Business School.
Recently, Caroline and Edwin became grandparents.

Caroline Kennedy does all in her power to keep her father’s legacy alive. His loss had a huge impact on her life and forced her to go through grief and drama throughout the years, but she is very successful at what she does and leads a beautiful life.
