Following the sudden and tragic passing of Rick Harrison’s son, Adam, the Pawn Shop’s star breaks silence posting a heartfelt tribute to Instagram.

Adam, 39, died of overdose in Las Vegas on Friday, leaving his family utterly devastated and shocked.

“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔,” Rick wrote alongside a photo of himself smiling with Adam at a bar.

Previously, a representative of the family, Laura Herlovich, confirmed Adam’s death to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss,” the statement read.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, Rick revealed the exact cause of Adam’s death, saying that fentanyl was to blame.

“Yes, I can confirm Adam died from a fentanyl overdose,” the reality-show star said. “The fentanyl crisis in this country must be taken more seriously. It seems it is just flowing over the borders and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.”

Fans, as well as some of Rick’s celebrity friends, were quick to share messages of condolence.

“I’m so sorry man,” wrote Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.

Adam’s brother, Corey Harrison, also paid his tribute to his late sibling on Instagram, sharing an old baby photo of the two of them in a bath.

“Wax wtf I will always love you bubba,” he captioned the image.

Adam was Rick Harrison’s second child from his first marriage to Kim Harrison. Rick later went on to marry his second wife with whom he has son Jake.

While we saw Rick and Corey running the Gold & Silver Pawn and appearing on the show, Adam was not as involved, although it has been reported that he did work with his father.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports overdose deaths, including synthetic opioids, raising 56.6% from January 2020 to 2021.

The Drug Enforcement Agency lists fentanyl as a Schedule II controlled substance “that is similar to morphine but about 100 times more potent.” Depending on a person’s body, even two milligrams, which is less than a grain of salt, can be lethal.

Kate Middleton’s ’embarrassing’ move during first meeting with Prince William: Inside their rocky relationship

Being part of one of the most famous and most influential families in the world, it doesn’t come as a surprise that the Prince and Princess of Wales get a lot of attention both by the public and the media.

Ever since the moment the world learned they were dating, all eyes are on them.

However, no matter how picture-perfect their relationship seems to be, they have their ups and downs throughout the years.

In an interview marking their 2010 engagement, Kate Middleton remembered how their first encounter left her face “bright red.” Meanwhile, William had problems recalling the moment, saying he had to “wrack his brains.”

“I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you,” Kate Middleton recalled.

“William wasn’t there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn’t there from Fresher’s Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other.”

According to the documentary The Day Will and Kate Got Married which aired in April 2021, the two were just good friends at the beginning but one night changed it all. During a student fashion show, Kate wore a sheer dress that wooed the Prince, and the rest is history.

“A switch had been flicked, he suddenly saw her in a different light, and I really believe that was the turning point in their relationship,” Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent, Katie Nicholl, said in the documentary.

A reported by The Telegraph, Prince William said: “We were friends for over a year first and it just sort of blossomed from then on. We just spent more time with each other and had a good giggle, and realized we shared the same interests.”

Their love was deep and they got the entire attention from the media. Kate even made a public appearance with the Royals and attended the Sovereign’s Parade at the Royal Military Academy, in which William attended, along with her family.

And as everyone believed a royal marriage was just around the corner, the two split in 2007.

Recalling the time of their break up, both Kate and William claimed it was actually good for them because they got to “find themselves.” Kate even said that “you can get quite consumed by a relationship when you’re younger,” as per The Telegraph.

The two got back together in 2008 and William proposed to Kate in 2010 during a trip to Kenya with his late mother’s engagement ring.

Today, after three children and years of being together, William and Kate’s relationship is as strong as ever.

In 2021 royal expert Duncan Larcombe spoke with OK! Magazine about how Prince William and Kate ensure quality time together and what their date nights look like.

“Kate and William’s relationship blossomed when they were at St Andrew’s University, doing normal student-y things and just enjoying each other’s company,” Duncan said.

“While the doting grandparents do the babysitting, William and Kate have been able to slip to the local pub for a night out, just the two of them,” the royal expert explained.

“I’m told that they did this to celebrate William’s birthday in June [in 2021]. Another favorite of the couple is for William to cook bolognese for Kate, and they sit on the sofa watching TV. It reminds them of their student days when they first met and their enduring romance began,” the expert added.

Recently, the royals attended the wedding of the Prince of Jordan. Kate wore a beautiful pink dress by the Lebanese designer Elie Saab and the bride wore a wedding gown by the same designer. The newlyweds paid tribute to William’s grandmother, late Queen Elizabeth II when they left the wedding for the reception in a 1984 Range Rover, specially customized for the queen’s visit to Jordan in 1984.

The day seemed to be an impeccable one, but something happened that caught the attention of many who branded William ‘rude.’ Namely, he greeted the bride and when Kate did the same she took some time to chat to her, William urged her to be quick by saying, “chop, chop.”

The author of Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family spoke to Fox and explained the royal couple inevitably have days when they are “really, really cross with each other,” as well as days when they don’t even talk to each other.

Just like every other couple out there, William and Kate have their differences.

“From people I’ve spoken to, it’s not as placid. It’s not as perfect as it might seem,” royal author Tom Quinn told Express. “But William adopts the manners and the way of behaving of his grandmother, and Kate is very good at not complaining and adopting.”

He continued: “Both of them have stuck to the thing that made the late Quinn such a remarkable monarch. They very, very rarely complain. And when they do, it’s always in measured terms.”

Further, Quinn said the royal’s marriage isn’t all “sweetness.”

“Kate might seem to be a very calm person, and William also. But it’s not always true. Because the big stress for William and Kate is that they’re constantly surrounded by [palace aides]. It’s like a Jane Austen novel,” he claimed.

“Kate is very much the calm one,” he added. “William is the one who’s a bit hotheaded. We see an example of that in Harry’s book… But Kate is very level-headed. She’s the one who will pour oil on troubled waters and go, ‘Let’s not stir things up.’”

Following her cancer diagnosis, Kate has only had two major public appearances. She attended the Trooping of Colour, an event that celebrates the King’s official birthday, and the Wimbledon final, where she received a standing ovation from the crowd. When she will return to royal duty is yet to be seen. But one thing is sure, that she and Prince William are supporting each other fully – and the scenes on the Buckingham Palace balcony during Trooping the Colour spoke for themselves as William and Kate smiled at each other.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s 6-year-old son Miles is diagnosed with type 1 diabetes

Following the diagnosis of their 6-year-old son Miles with type 1 diabetes, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, along with their young children, are adjusting to “a different, new world for us.”

Teigen shared the news of her son’s diagnosis with her followers in a Wednesday Instagram post after some of them noticed the young boy having a glucose monitor on the back of his arm on a photo of him holding up signs at the Paris Olympics.

“A lot of you noticed something a little special about a photo I posted a few days ago — Luna, Miles and I celebrating Simone (Biles) and team USA. Miles had his arm up, and soooo many of you reached out to say the most beautiful and incredible words I have ever witnessed on this platform,” Teigen, 38, wrote in the post.

“You noticed his type-1 diabetes monitor and extended so much love and encouragement in every way possible. I was, and am, so blown away by the kindness of this community, already.”

Her post triggered an outpouring of love and affection by her fans and followers and she was touched by the reactions.

“A couple weeks ago, our Miles was sick, in the hospital, with a terrible case of shigella, an intestinal infection caused by bacteria in food or water. A lot of his friends were also sick with it, as they went to the same camp and well, it happens!” Teigen wrote in her post.

It was then that doctors noticed something unusual in his blood results.

“But the doctors knew something else was off about his blood tests. I’ve learned since then that this is how so many young children end up being diagnosed with type-1 going to the hospital for something different. After more testing, we learned he is in the ‘honeymoon period’ of a lifetime of T1. Last night we gave him his first shot of insulin and here we go! A different, new world for us and we are certainly learning so much on the fly.”

She ended her post thanking everyone for their kind words of support.

“This post is to thank you so much for your kindness,” she wrote. “It helps Miles so much to know so many other people are going through the same thing and he is not alone.”

Teigen and Legend welcomed Miles in 2018.

Brother of screaming man sucked into sinkhole in his bedroom reveals devastating final thing he heard

Jeffrey Bush has been presumed dead after he was sucked into a huge 100ft sinkhole that opened beneath his bedroom, causing him to vanish more than eleven years ago.

At the time of the incident, the 37-year-old was asleep in bed at his home in Seffner, Florida.

On the fatal night of February 28, 2013, Jeffrey’s brother Jeremy was startled by a loud crash and rushed into the room only to discover a huge crater where his brother’s bed had been.

Assuming Jeffrey must have fallen in, Jeremy tried to reach him and climbed in an attempt to rescue his brother but Jeffrey was nowhere to be seen although his screams could be heard.

As the ground around him continued to cave in, Jeremy was pulled to safety by a police officer from the Tampa Police Department and his desperate attempts to save his brother were to no avail.

“The floor was still giving in and the dirt was still going down, but I didn’t care. I wanted to save my brother,” Jeremy told The Guardian at the time. “But I just couldn’t do nothing.

“I could swear I heard him hollering my name to help him.”

At the time the emergency services arrived, the bedroom had completely crumbled away. “There was no furniture. All he saw was a piece of the mattress sticking up,” a fire rescue spokeswoman.

Equipment was lowered into the sinkhole, but there were no traces of Jeffrey. Experts say that at the surface the sinkhole was about 30 feet across but below the surface it was 100 feet across.

The brothers’ home was later demolished and filled with gravel.

The loss has been devastating for Jeremy and his family, including his wife and daughter who were at the house at the time the sinkhole opened.

“She keeps asking where her Uncle Jeff is,” Jeremy said of his daughter. “I lost everything. I work so hard to support my wife and kid and I lost everything.”

A few years after Jeffrey’s disappearance, the hole opened again and the place was fenced by the authorities as a safety precaution.

In the year 2022, there have been about 27,000 reported sinkhole incidents across the state of Florida, as per the Florida Department of Environmental Protection database.

High school wrestler forfeits state tournament immediately when he sees who opponent is

Brendan Johnston, an 18-year-old wrestler from Colorado, willingly gave up the chance of placing in the state tournament because the fight he was to participate in was against his fate and beliefs.

Namely, Brendan was schedule to wrestle Angel Rios at the Pepsi Center in Denver for third-place in the 106-pound weight class in the consolation bracket, but the moment he realized his opponent was a girl, he decided to forfeit.

This decision cost him a higher place than the sixth he ended up in.

A few days before this match, Brendan did the same when he was to face Jaslynn Gallegos, a senior at Skyview High in the first round of the tournament on Thursday, as per KDVR.

Speaking to the outlet, Brendan justified his decision saying, “It’s so physical, physically close. I don’t think that’s really appropriate with a young lady. It’s also very aggressive and I’m not really, I guess, comfortable with that.”

He added: “There is something that I really do find problematic about the idea of wrestling with a girl, and a part of that does come from my faith and my belief.

“And a part of that does come from how I was raised to treat women as well as maybe from different experiences and things.

“I don’t think that I am looking at them as not equal. I am saying that they are women and that is different than being men, because I do believe that men and women are different and we are made differently.

“But I still believe that women are of equal value to men. I don’t think that seeing men and women as different [opposes] the idea of equality.”

Both his opponents, Rios and Gallegos, made history after becoming the first females to place at the tournament. Rios placed fourth and Gallegos placed fifth.

Speaking to The Greeley Tribune, Rios commented the match Brendan forfeited and said she understood his decision and respected it but questioned why any wrestler, of any gender, would decide to forfeit in the state tournament after making it so far.

“This whole time that I’ve wrestled, it’s just me trying to prove a point that I am just a wrestler,” she told the Washington Post at the time.

“And so the fact that my gender is something that kind of holds me back still is just a little nerve-racking, but I respect his decision. It’s fine.

“My whole thing is that I’m not a girl wrestler; I’m just a wrestler. So it kind of doesn’t hurt my feelings, but I do kind of take it to heart.”

Another terrible loss for the Bryant family, sending prayers

Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, the father of the late Basketball Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant, has died at the age of 69, La Salle University’s athletics department reported.

Citing La Salle men’s head basketball coach Fran Dunphy, The Philadelphia Inquirer wrote Joe had recently suffered a stoke. The exact cause of death hasn’t been confirmed yet.

La Salle University, where Joe played and coached, said in a statement that he “was a beloved member of the Explorer family and will be dearly missed.”

Just like his famous son, Joe was a renowned basketball player himself. Drafted by the Golden State Warriors as the 14th overall pick in the 1975 NBA draft, he played for the Philadelphia 76ers for four seasons, the then-San Diego Clippers for three seasons, and the Houston Rockets for one season. He also played in Europe.

The 76ers paid tribute to Joe, calling him “a local basketball icon, whose legacy on the court transcended his journey across Bartram High School, La Salle University, and his first four NBA seasons with the 76ers from 1975-79.”

Joe’s sudden passing comes four years after the tragic death of his son Kobe and his granddaughter Gianna, who were killed in a helicopter crash with seven other people.

Kobe’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, wrote on her Instagram story on Tuesday, “Sending our condolences upon hearing the news of my father-in-law’s passing.

“We hoped things would’ve been different. Although the times we spent together were few, he was always sweet and nice to be around. Kobe loved him very much.”

Former Kobe teammate Doug Young praised Joe as the ideal “role model.”

“Joe was our JV coach at Lower Merion and I could not have asked for a more positive mentor, teacher, and role model,” Young told ESPN. “It’s difficult to overstate how much he influenced me and my teammates. He made basketball fun and made us all want to be better; he believed in us. I’ll never forget his infectious smile, his bear hugs and the incredible bond he shared with Kobe. Growing up in Lower Merion, there was no family we loved and admired more than the Bryants, and that started with Joe.”

Arn Tellem, the vice chairman of the Pistons and formerly Kobe Bryant’s agent, expressed his sadness over the loss of Joe and joined the basketball community in mourning a true Philly hoops legend. “Our friendship opened the door for me to represent Kobe as he entered the NBA, a memory I’ll always cherish. Joe was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, whose warmth touched everyone he met.”

Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt’s son, 20, hospitalized: Details

Pax Jolie-Pitt, the 20-year-old son of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie was hospitalized Monday following an accident while riding an electric bike in Los Feliz Blvd in LA during rush hour at around 5pm, as reported by NBC News.

According to a source who spoke to the news outlet, Jolie is by her son’s side and he’s in “stable condition.”

As per TMZ, Pax suffered a head injury after his electric bike was involved in a crash with a car.

According to law enforcement sources cited by TMZ, Pax’s electric bike collided with the rear of the car at an intersection. After the accident, the driver got out of the car to make sure Pax was fine and waited with him until the ambulance arrived.

“A vehicle was waiting at a red light, and an individual on an electric bike rear-ended the vehicle. There is no evidence of a crime and we ended up taking a severe traffic report,” Los Angeles Police Department Officer David Cuellar told NBC News on Tuesday.

Last year, Pax, whom Jolie adopted from Vietnam and is the second oldest child of the ex-couple, made headlines for criticizing his dad in a resurfaced 2020 social media message in which he referred to him as to an ‘awful human being.’

“You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person,” Pax wrote in the post unearthed by MailOnline. “You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so.” Pax concluded the post: “You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.”

Those close to Pitt said the allegations made by Pax were a “depressing smear,” with one Hollywood star stating that Pitt “has great respect for all of his children and it’s depressing to see this dragged up.

“It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of “bad person” when it’s far from the truth. He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes,” the A-lister told The Sun.

Jolie filed for divorce from Brad in 2019 after five years of marriage and their relationship remained stranded, with their kids taking their mom’s side.

Jacklyn Zeman, who played Bobbie Spencer for 45 years on ABC’s General Hospital has died aged 70. As per reports, she fought cancer for a short while prior to her sudden passing.

The news of her passing was shared by the show’s executive producer Frank Valentini.

“I am heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved Jackie Zeman,” he posted on Twitter. “Just like her character, the legendary Bobbie Spencer, she was a bright light and a true professional that brought so much positive energy with her work.”

ABC Entertainment and General Hospital released a statement as well. “Jacklyn Zeman has been a beloved member of the General Hospital and ABC family since she originated the iconic role of Bobbie Spencer over 45 years ago. She leaves behind a lasting legacy for her Emmy-nominated portrayal of the bad girl turned heroine and will always be remembered for her kind heart and radiant spirit. We are devastated by the news of her passing, and send our deepest condolences to Jackie’s family, friends and loved ones.”

Zeman first joined the cast of the long-running daytime drama in 1977, according to Imdb.

Zeman’s sudden passing came three days prior to her birthday and less than two weeks after her final episode of General Hospital, which aired on April 27.

Denise Alexander, Zeman’s co-star, shared a touching tribute. “Oh girl, I can’t stop crying because I keep hearing your voice and laughing. I have always loved and cherished your sweetness, humor, brilliance, and lovely goodness. The finest embraces, too. I will always love you. Denise,” she wrote in a brief letter that was first made available by Soap Hub on May 15.

“I’m very happy that I got to spend so much time with this lovely woman. Jackie had the best stories to tell, a contagious spirit, and such a remarkable life. She enjoyed working on General Hospital,” Laura Wright, who portrayed Carly Spencer, the character who was Zeman’s daughter in the serial show, stated on Instagram.

Tamara Braun was among those who pays their tribute to Zeman. “I am at a loss for words. This hurts and disturbs me beyond words. I wish to hug you. Join us in our laughter. Tell stories. Talk real talk because that’s what we did.”

Zeman is survived by two daughters, Cassidy and Lacey from her first marriage to Glenn Gordon. She was married and divorced two more times to Steve Gribbin and disc jockey Murray Kaufman who went by “Murray the K.”

Rest in peace, Jacklyn Zeman, you are missed.

Prince William’s true feelings for Prince Harry revealed in never-before-seen Diana letters

Princess Diana stood out as anything but a conventional royal. Dubbed the People’s Princess, she was not just a beloved figure but also a fiercely devoted mother.

She frequently broke royal norms to focus on her children’s well-being, often attending and engaging in school activities for Prince William and Prince Harry.

It’s safe to say that her passion for motherhood was unmatched.

Sadly, her marriage to then-prince Charles was a far cry from a perfect union.

Her life was always closely followed by the media, and sadly, that had a lot to do with the tragic car accident in which she lost her life in August of 1997. Allegedly, she was running away from the press when the tragedy happened.

From the moment she became a Princess, everyone wanted a piece of her life. According to The Guardian, magazines were offering up to half a million dollars for photos of her.

Her children were perfectly aware of the way their mother was treated by the media and how that affected her life and Harry promised himself he would never allow his wife to be ever treated the same way. According to him, he even considered leaving the Royal Family when he was in his 20’s.

“Look what it did to my mum, how am I ever going to settle down and have a wife and a family when I know that it’s going to happen again,” Harry said during an appearance on the Armchair Expert podcast. “I don’t want to be part of this,” he added.

William and Harry never miss a chance to remind everyone just how special their mother was.

“When everybody says ‘she was funny, give us an example’. All I can hear is her laugh,” Harry said in an interview he and William gave back in 2017.

“She was one of the naughtiest parents, she’d come and watch us play football and smuggle sweet into her socks, literally walking back from a football match and having five packages of [candy]. And just, the whole shirt was full with sweets.”

“We felt incredibly loved by her, and I’m very grateful that the love still feels there,” William added.” It feels like a good time to remember her and hopefully provide a different side.”

“It was that love, even though she was on the other side of the room, as her son you could feel it,” Harry said.

She did all in her power to provide a normal childhood to her sons. “William adores his little brother and spends the entire time swamping Harry with an endless supply of hugs and kisses, hardly letting the parents near!” Diana’s handwritten letter to a former steward at Buckingham Palace, Cyril Dickman, states, as reported by The Sun.

One time, she told the chef to cancel lunch for the boys because they wanted to go to McDonald’s with her. “And I said, ‘Oh my God – your Royal Highness, I can do that, I can do burgers.’ And she said, ‘No, it’s the toy they want,’” chef Darren McGrady told Marie Claire.

Her tragic passing was a huge blow not only for Britain, but for the entire world, especially for her sons, who were 12 and 15 at the time.

Recalling that traumatic experience, Harry described the moment he got word of his mother’s passing in his book, Spare. He described how his father sat beside his bed, telling him: “Darling boy, Mummy’s been in a car crash.

“There were complications. Mummy was quite badly injured and taken to hospital, darling boy,” Harry recalled his father saying. “He always called me ‘darling boy,’ but he was saying it quite a lot now. His voice was soft. He was in shock, it seemed.

“With a head injury. They tried, darling boy. I’m afraid she didn’t make it.”

The prince further claimed that Charles put his hand on his knee, saying: “It’s going to be OK,” but that he “didn’t hug” him.

“Everyone knows where they were and what they were doing the night my mother died,” Harry stated.

“I cried once, at the burial, and you know I go into detail about how strange it was and how actually there was some guilt that I felt and I think William felt as well, by walking around the outside of Kensington Palace.”

“There were 50,000 bouquets of flowers to our mother and there we were shaking people’s hands, smiling,” he continued. “I’ve seen the videos, right, I looked back over it all. And the wet hands that we were shaking, we couldn’t understand why their hands were wet, but it was all the tears that they were wiping away.”

Princes William and Harry walking behind her casket on the day of her funeral is an image many Britons could never forget.

Later, Harry slammed the decision that the two young boys had to walk through London with the world watching.

Sadly, after everything William and Harry have been through, their relationship is now stranded. It seems that it all started when Harry decided to leave Britain behind. The relationship between the two brothers was ruined even further with the release of Harry’s book Spare, which led to more bridges to be burnt.

Olympic boxing coach dies at Paris Olympics: Tragic details

The Samoan Olympic boxing team is mourning the devastating loss of Lionel Elika Fatupaito, their highly respected coach who passed away on Friday, the 26th, in the athletes’ village located in Seine-Saint-Denis, France.

According to reports, the cause of death was a cardiac arrest. He was 60.

Fatupaito became ill in his room at approximately 10:20 a.m. local time on Friday, shortly before the opening ceremony was scheduled to start in Paris. According to Le Parisien, he was accompanied by an athlete when he had the sudden medical emergency. Despite the intervention of emergency services, he was declared deceased at the scene from “natural causes.”

The investigation has been handed over to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police.

The International Boxing Federation (IBA) has extended its deepest condolences following the tragedy that cast a shadow over the Games. They honored Fatupaito’s steadfast dedication, noting that his passion and commitment to boxing “have left a lasting impression on the sport.”

“His legacy will continue to inspire future generations. Our thoughts and prayers are with Team Samoa and all those affected by this profound loss,” the message further read. “Our thoughts and prayers are with Team Samoa and all those affected by this profound loss.”

The Samoan Olympic body’s president Pauga Talalelei Pauga said in the Oceania statement: “Lionel was one of Samoa’s top boxing coaches and a great believer in the Olympic ideal.”

The Paris organizing committee expressed they are “deeply saddened to learn of the death of a member of the Samoan delegation. Our thoughts are with his family, his loved ones and his delegation.”

Fatupaito was in France to assist in coaching the sole boxer from Samoa, Ato Plodzicki-Faoagali. Plodzicki-Faoagali is scheduled to begin his 92-kilogram competition on Sunday against Belgium’s Victor Schelstraete. The 25-year-old, originally from Australia, is participating in his second Olympic Games.

Plodzicki-Faoagali expressed his emotional struggle, stating on Instagram that the past week has been exceptionally difficult and mentally draining, particularly in light of the recent loss of his coach.

Expressing his gratitude to the people of Samoa for their cheering and support, the boxer also paid tribute to Fatupaito, writing, “Thinking of you coach, wish you were here in the corner today.”

Sinéad O’Connor’s cause of death finally comes to light, one year after her death

The news of the sudden passing of one of the greatest Irish and world singers, Sinéad O’Connor, shook the world a year ago. O’Connor had been found ‘unresponsive’ after police were called to her flat in Herne Hill. Her life ended a little over a year following the passing of her son, Shane Lunny, who died of suicide at the age of 17.

O’Connor was devastated by Shane’s loss. “Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul. We were one soul in two halves. He was the only person who ever loved me unconditionally. I am lost in the bardo without him,” the late singer posted about her beloved son in her last Tweet.

Now, a year after O’Connor’s death, her death report, which revealed her cause of death, was obtained. The cherished singer and activist passed away due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and asthma combined with a low-grade lower respiratory tract infection.

This report comes six months after the London Inner South Coroner’s Court confirmed her cause of death to be “natural causes.”

The singer gained worldwide fame with her rendition of Prince’s Nothing Compares 2 U.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad,” her family said in a statement to The Irish Times. “Her family and friends are devastated and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”

O’Connor’s death prompted a wave of tributes, with Ireland’s taoiseach at the time, Leo Varadkar, stating: “Her music was loved around the world, and her talent was unmatched and beyond compare.”

Actress Jamie Lee Curtis was among the public figures who honored O’Connor on the year of her passing.

“I once heard Sìnead sing acappella in an empty chapel in Ireland. It was under construction at the private home of our host. It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard in my life. We then went together to see Eminem at a festival. I loved her. Her music. Her life. She was a victim of child abuse and a huge change agent for unfair and unjust draconian laws that she helped change in Ireland,” Curtis wrote on Instagram. “She was a warrior. She was a rebel. She ripped up a photograph that was on her mother’s wall because of the hypocrisy of the abusive life she was raised in under the banner of the church. This is so sad. Watch the NOTHING COMPARES documentary. Brilliant. Heartbreaking. Rest well. Rest in power. Rest in peace.”

A week before her death, O’Connor shared with her fans that she had recently returned to London after a 23-year absence, expressing that she was “very happy to be home.”

O’Connor, who converted to Islam and changed her name to Shuhada Sadaqat was buried as a Muslim in a Catholic cemetery last summer.

Experiencing a miscarriage is one of the most painful and heartbreaking events a person can endure. It provokes feelings of sadness, immense grief, and sometimes guilt.

Many parents to be experience shock and disbelief upon learning of the miscarriage as the mind struggles to process the devastating news of change of circumstance. All of a sudden, it feels like all the dreams have been shattered like a piece of glass. Anxiety about future pregnancies is also present, which adds to the difficulty of the situation.

Sadly, the number of couples who have gone trough this devastating experience is huge and although every person deals with the loss in their own way, the pain is almost always the same, and it hardly goes away.

Whitney Quinton and her husband Brett welcomed a son in their lives, but they always dreamed of having more children. Unfortunately, Whitney experienced health issues, including endometriosis, for which she had undergone a surgery, and falling pregnant again was difficult.

After some years, and a miscarriage, she did learn she was carrying a baby and only hoped for the best.

During the first couple of weeks everything seemed normal. But one day, while at a regular check-up, Whitney waited for the scans way longer than usual and that was the first sign that something was wrong.

“I started getting worked up while we waited and my husband tried to reassure me it would be okay,” she explained to Love What Matters.

“My mind was going a thousand miles a minute thinking about all of the things she could have and how scared I was.”

The news that followed was dreadful. Their daughter’s heart was at a different spot, she was missing a kidney, and her long bones were not growing. The scans also showed severe abnormalities with her limbs.

“[The radiologist] then stated in very direct terms, ‘You can terminate this pregnancy in the next three weeks if you are unable to handle this,'” Whitney wrote.

“I let out a scream I didn’t even know I was capable of. I fell to my knees and kept screaming and I immediately had sheets of tears streaming down my face. My husband continued to rub my back while he too wept.”

The following two weeks were extremely difficult; both physically and emotionally. She and her husband were tired and heartbroken.

Whitney underwent plenty of tests and they all showed that in case their daughter survived by any chance, she would have a very low quality of life.

“Day and night, my husband and I cried. We felt like we had nothing left to give. Selfishly, we wanted her.

“To us, she was perfect even though there were so many complications with her health. It didn’t matter to us. But as parents you learn that it’s not about what’s best for you, it’s about what’s best for her and what she would want.”

They turned to God and prayed all the time, hoping to be given some clarity about the decision they were about to make.

“Two days later, we agreed that neither she nor I needed to suffer for one more minute. The induction was scheduled for a few days later, and the evening came for me to take the medication to induce labour. I would be delivering her the next day.

“I had blurred vision and was so gravely ill that I told Brett I loved him many times in case I died, I was supposed to attend my work party the night before as I thought it would be better to have a distraction instead of sobbing all evening. The time came to leave and my health turned a corner.”

Whitney’s experience delivering her baby was, as expected, both painful and traumatic.

“I woke up and the nurse came to check on me. In my sleep, our daughter, Ruby-Jo, had arrived,” she wrote.

“The doctor came in to pick up her tiny, 1- pound, lifeless body and I went into complete shock.”

At that moment, she was overwhelmed by feelings of extreme sadness, anger, and guilt.

In the midst of her heartbreak, her husband whispered words she would never forget.

“Whits, it’s okay. You did it,” he told her. “She’s finally home and she’s perfect. She’s with our family in Heaven, and she’s not in pain anymore. I am so proud of you.”

“Not a day has gone by that I don’t think about the words my husband said to me that day,” Whitney wrote. “He saved me then, and his words continue to save me daily when I fight demons with the Earth-shattering decision we had to make for her.”

“She is sealed to our family and, someday in Heaven, we will all be reunited,” Whitney wrote.

“I will embrace her and I know she will thank us for relieving her of all of her suffering. We will thank her for teaching us how to turn to God, to have more compassion, and be there for others during tragedies to lift them up.”

When Neil Young heard the band perform at Farm Aid 2014, he invited them to record with him in the studio, which marked the start of a long-lasting collaboration.

That Lucas is an incredible musician whose vocal resembles that of his father a lot could be seen from a video of him performing the classic Always On My Mind.

The video of Lucas singing one of his father’s most famous songs captured the attention of millions. Many say that if you listen to it with closed eyes, you can easily mistake him for his dad, and we can’t agree more.

When they announced their decision to step down from their royal duties, the spokesperson of Harry and Meghan said in a statement: “As evidenced by their work over the past year, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain committed to their duty and service to the U.K. and around the world, and have offered their continued support to the organisations they have represented regardless of official role.”

However, Queen Elizabeth herself had “written confirming that in stepping away from the work of the Royal Family, it is not possible to continue with the responsibilities and duties that come with a life of public service,” the announcement by the palace said. It added: “While all are saddened by their decision, the Duke and Duchess remain much loved members of the family.”

U.K. media, as well as many influential international magazines, have slammed their decision to split from the royal family, but both Harry and Meghan believed it was the best thing to do when it came to their family. During the Oprah interview that caused a stir on the social media, Harry once again defended their decision to move from Britain because he didn’t want “history repeating itself,” referring to his late mother.

According to Meghan, before the split with the Firm, she and Harry allegedly asked for a permission to move to another country in the Commonwealth, perhaps South Africa or Canada. However, the answer was a resounding no.

“Anything to just … because just by existing, we were upsetting the dynamic of the hierarchy. So we go, ‘Okay, fine, let’s get out of here. Happy to,’” Meghan recalled during an interview with The Cut.

In January of last year, Harry published his much-anticipated all-tell memoir Spare which sold in a staggering 1.4 million copies on its first day in the UK, United States, and Canada. Spare has been released in 16 different languages worldwide.

“We always knew this book would fly, but it is exceeding even our most bullish expectations,” Larry Finlay, managing director of Transworld Penguin Random House, said.

“As far as we know, the only books to have sold more in their first day are those starring the other Harry (Potter).”

Despite that the need for privacy and more quiet life was one of the reasons why Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and left Britain behind, they haven’t stopped giving interviews and speaking of the members of the Firm.

In his book, among the rest, Harry wrote that following the birth of Prince George, he wasn’t welcomed in the home of William and Kate in a way he expected he would be, despite the fact they lived within a walking distance to one another. He also labeled Camilla “dangerous” and spoke of the argument between Kate and Meghan at the time of Harry and Meghan’s wedding, the one the world first learned about during the infamous Oprah interview when Meghan revealed that Kate made her cry.

However, now that Charles and Kate both fight cancer, it has been reported that Harry and Meghan reached out to them in separate occasions.

Many hope that this difficult time for the royal family would also be the time when olive branches are offered from both sides.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward has indicated that Meghan Markle has two specific demands for reconciliation, one of which is a “groveling apology.” Seward also highlighted Prince William’s position, noting that he also insists on a genuine apology from Harry for the perceived years of disrespect towards him and Kate.

According to another royal expert, Tom Quinn, doubts the possibility of reconciliation, citing Meghan’s belief that Kate should have offered her more support during her time as a working royal.

Recent events, such as Kate Middleton’s health issues, have not eased tensions. Although there have been suggestions for a joint family gathering, Meghan’s reluctance and unresolved grievances continue to impede progress.

Prince Harry’s upcoming visit to the UK for the Invictus Games anniversary event could potentially facilitate interaction, but Meghan’s concerns about her children’s safety and the unresolved issues pose significant hurdles.

Given the complexity of the feud and the demands for apologies from both sides, the possibility of reconciliation remains uncertain.

Steve Martin announces his retirement from acting – ‘Once you get to 75, there’s not a lot left to learn’

After a career which spanned six decades, legendary actor and comedian Steve Martin was ready to call it quits. But then a new show came, Only Murders in the Building, earning him three Emmy nominations. What followed was a stage show, a new book, and plenty more projects, but this time, he is truly winding his career down.

This incredibly versatile man became a household name when he joined the cast of “Saturday Night Live.” His immense acting talent and his wit took his career to a whole new level and he became a familiar face on our screens, bringing laughter to millions of fans.

Martin has plenty of awards under his belt and the list of films he played in throughout the course of his career is relatively long.

Among the rest, he’s known for classics such as ‘Pink Panther’, ‘Cheaper by the Dozen’, and ‘Father of the Bride,’ among the rest.

As most people tend to retire when they reach the age of sixty-something, Martin didn’t only do projects and films at that age, but he also became a father for the first time ever when he and wife Anne Stringfield welcomed a daughter in 2012. At the time, Martin was 67.

Speaking of the decision to pack up his career, Martin said, “There’s a time in your career when people are dying to see you… Now is the time in my career when I’m the one who’s got to show up.”

When it comes to his show Only Murders in the Building, Martin created alongside John Hoffman, starring Martin himself, singer-actress Selena Gomez, and Martin Short, the 77-year-old comedian told Variety, “I’m very happy with my character not growing. They always say, ‘What’s the arc of the character? What does he learn?’ Once you get to 75, there’s not a lot left to learn, there’s only more mistakes. So I don’t worry about those things. [It’s about] being true to the character. If Marty Short is true to Oliver, and I’m true to Charles, then we can’t go wrong. They’re real people.”

He then added, “When this television show is done, I’m not going to seek others. I’m not going to seek other movies. I don’t want to do cameos. This is, weirdly, it.”

Not many can say they had a career as outstanding as that of Steve Martin. Saying goodbye to Hollywood with a win in his pocket is possibly the best kind of farewell.

No one expects 16-year-old to sound just like Elvis Presley – then he takes the mic

There are some artists, whether singers, actors, or another type of performers, who leave an impact so profound that their legacy lives on long after they are no longer around.

Take Elvis Presley for example. No matter how good someone is when it comes to creating music and performing it, there will always be only one king.

Popular comedian died in a ‘freak’ accident

Tony Knight, a comedian and a ‘dog listener’ passed away unexpectedly in a ‘freak’ accident. A family member confirmed that the British comic, who resided in Australia, died in June while attending the Rock ‘n’ Cars Festival in Lavaur, France.

“He was only 54 and having the time of his life,” the family member told Fox Digital News.

“He was fit, healthy, happy and had everything going for him, he was charismatic, funny, passionate and so very loved by [his partner] Hayley, his family and his friends all over the world.”

According to the French media, Tony was the only person injured when a large tree branch fell onto him and five other people.

He later died of the injuries he sustained. Local authorities are currently investigating the accident that claimed his life.

Fans of the comedian shared their condolences on the social media. “Disturbing news regarding Tony Knight. Tragic incidents are often difficult to hear about. It’s important to remember how much happiness and laughter his comedy brought to so many people,” one person wrote on Facebook.

Tony’s lifelong partner, Hayley Wright, set up a GoFundMe page in his memory to help cover funeral and hospital expenses. By July 5, the fundraiser had collected over $8,000 of its $20,000 goal.

Tony had been preparing for a UK comedy tour in the months before his death.

He was also well-known for his love of dogs and referred to himself as a “dog listener” on his website. Hayley’s sister mentioned on the GoFundMe page that Tony “helped people all over the world” learn new ways to communicate with their pets.

The comedian was set to embark on a series of shows in the UK called Mad Dogs and an Englishman, which was also scheduled to appear at the Edinburgh Fringe. The show was marketed as “The world’s first-ever comedy show about dog behavior. Stand up (and sit).”

Remembering Clint Eastwood’s beloved partner

Oscar-winning actor Clint Eastwood is mourning the loss of his long-time girlfriend Christina Sandera.

Her death, confirmed on July 19, was attributed to a heart attack, with the Monterey County Health Department listing cardiac arrhythmia, an abnormal heart rhythm, and atherosclerotic coronary artery disease as contributing factors. At the time of her passing, Sandera was 61.

She and Eastwood, the iconic Dirty Harry actor, were a couple for the past decade.

Eastwood paid his tributes to his late partner in a heartfelt statement shared through the local Carmel Pine Cone newspaper. “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” he wrote.

Their relationship started shortly after Eastwood’s nearly 20-year marriage to his second wife, Dina, ended. The couple often kept their romance private.

They reportedly met when Sanders was a hostess at his Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, which later became their sanctuary.

Eastwood’s daughter, Morgan Eastwood, also paid tribute to Sandera after her passing. “A devastating loss for our whole family. Thank you Christina for being a good partner to my Dad (red heart emoji) you will be missed.”

Sandera stood by Eastwood’s side during significant events, particularly those related to his films. Their first public appearance together was at the 2015 Oscars when Eastwood’s movie American Sniper received several nominations, including Best Picture.

She remained a steadfast supporter of her partner throughout their relationship. In 2017, they attended the Cannes Film Festival together, highlighting their close bond. The following year, she accompanied Eastwood and his entire family to the premiere of his film The Mule, underscoring her significant presence in both his personal and professional life.

Despite being in a relationship with an icon, Sandera preferred to stay out of the limelight.

Mom angry after finding teacher’s ‘warning’ message on her 7-year-old daughter’s homework

One mam shared her 7-year-old daughter’s worksheet from school and the teacher’s remark on it caused quite a stir on the social media. Namely, the girl, Alyssa, was warned not to write in cursive.

“Stop writing your name in cursive. You have been warned several times,” her teacher wrote on the paper.

According to many, although cursive is not prioritized at all schools, it does take time and practice to excel it so Alyssa should have been praised for writing in cursive, not warned not to do it.

While teachers must be respected, discouraging a child like Alyssa from practicing cursive seems unjust.

Rather than sending discouraging notes, teachers should give constructive feedback to students who choose to master this intricate art.

They should recognize the child’s dedication to cursive writing and offer positive reinforcement. Though not emphasized everywhere, cursive deserves recognition for the important skills it imparts to young learners.
