Meet Mr. Jennings, an 86-year-old man who has donated over $400,000 by recycling

Meet Mr. Jennings, an 86-year-old man who has lived a life of giving and making others happy. Honestly, we don’t see many people like him nowadays, so it’s safe to say that he’s one of the most generous and most dedicated individuals we have ever heard of.

Now, if you wonder what makes this man so special let us share his story with you. Over the course of 32 years, Mr. Jennings, who has suffered two mini strokes recently, has recycled cans, paper, pennies, and other recyclables worth $400,000 that he has donated to the Georgia Baptist Home for Children.

An ordinary day of this extraordinary man’s life consists of driving around town and collecting paper and other materials from the local stores and churches which he then brings to the Chattanooga Recycle Center on Central Avenue. As a lot of people know what he is doing, many leave recyclables in front of his home as well.

He says he won’t stop doing what he’s doing until the “undertaker turns his toes up!”

Mr. Jennings lives by the words “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away,” by great Pablo Picasso.

What an incredible man. We wish him health and only the best in the years to come so that he can help even more children. Way to go, Mr. Jennings, you are one of a kind!

Dad and daughter make breakfast while dancing together not knowing they’re being filmed

Every child should grow up surrounded by love and affection by their parents, because those two people whom they call mom and dad are the safest shelter a child will ever need or ask for.

The video below shows the beauty of the bond between fathers and daughters.

In their fathers, the girls will always have a protector, and that’s the cutest thing there is.

The father from the video is dancing with his daughter while making breakfast. The mom enters the kitchen and witnesses the heartwarming sight of the duo having fun and making sweet memories they will both cherish forever. She decides to take a video which she later shared online and captured the hearts of millions of people.

A lot of girls and women commented how the girl is the happiest out there for having such a loving dad. Those who lost theirs said this reminded them of the times they had their fathers by their side.

Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud that goes in the background only makes the whole thing more special. Check it out below.

Parents bury 2-year-old child in the sand up to her neck under hot sun, while they fool around in the water

Not everyone deserves to be called a parent. While many moms and dads put their children’s needs on the top of the list of their priorities and make sure their little ones are well taken care of and protected, sadly, there are also those who are not really concerned for the well-being of their offspring.

A very sad incident took place recently at the Atlantic Ocean resort of Santa Clara in Buenos Aires, Argentina, showing exactly what we are speaking of.

A lot of passersby were shocked by the sight of a little girl buried in the sand with her head out and under the scorching sun. There was no adult around and it looked like the poor child had been in that position for quite some time. She was extremely hot but unable to move and cover her head. During that time, her parents were having sex in the water.

People gathered around and decided to alert the police of what looked like obvious child neglect.

It took the police quite some time to arrive at the scene and arrest the parents who put their daughter in danger. Speaking to the Argentinian newspaper called Clarin, as quoted by Daily Star, and eye-witness said that the girl was “hungry and sunburnt,” adding: “It was about 95 degrees Fahrenheit so imagine what that poor little girl was like.”

After the arrest, which both the parents resisted, it was discovered that the mother had drugs in her purse. According to the police, she possessed cannabis, ecstasy, and sedative Rivotril.

The two-year-old girl was taken away from the irresponsible parents and placed in temporary care.

4 young boys save starving dog tied with bungee cords at the back of a house

Some people are simply born to do good for others and help this world become a better place. Four boys from Detroit proved that societies sometimes misjudge young people when they dub them careless.

Brothers Kenny, Kenneth, and Kevin Dancy, together with their friend Andrew Daniels were helping an elderly neighbor with her stuff when she was moving places when they came across a heartbreaking sight.

A severely starved dog was tied at the back of one of the houses. The boys knew the poor animal was in a very bad shape and didn’t want to live her there. Soon, the quick-thinking boys untied the dog from the bungee cords, wrapped her in a jacket, and took her home.

They named the dog Sparkles and were determined to help her turn into a healthy dog again. They gave her food and water and made sure she was comfortable. As they were walking Sparkles around the neighborhood the following day, they came across members of the Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue and told them the whole story. This encounter was pure luck.

The rescuers took Sparkles and rushed her to the vet’s. Besides being starved, she also had mange and it was obvious she had been severely neglected.

Later, the shelter staff shared Sparkles’ story on their Facebook page and thanked the young heroes for their good deed. “You could tell they really love this dog,” said Theresa Sumpter, the organization’s founder, speaking to WDIV.

“They were protective of the dog and wanted to make sure the dog was going to a good place.”

The vet determined Sparkles didn’t really have mange as the rescuers thought, but it looked like that because she was very thin. Luckily, that meant she could be put up for adoption sooner than they expected.

Soon after, Pet Tales Rescue, a rescue organization close to Detroit Pit Crew Dog Rescue found the perfect foster mommy for Sparkle.

As for the boys who saved her, they didn’t stop there. After Sparkles’ rescue, they saved two other dogs from the streets.

These boys did an amazing job. They are true heroes we should all learn from.

Boy spends all his savings to buy a bicycle for the gas station attendant

It’s truly amazing how far a simple act of kindness can go. We actually never know how our actions make other people feel or how deep of an impact they have on them. That is why we should always mind our behavior, as well as the words we speak to those around us, no matter if they are our friends or complete strangers we meet along the way of the journey called life.

Mandy Peterson’s story is a reminder that if you do good, good shall come to you.

She and her son Vaughn were having fun riding their bikes in Gillitts, South Africa when the boy felt sick. They quickly got into a convenience store so that he could rest and have some water. Little did these mother and son know how the encounter with one of the store’s employees will get them a friend for life. Tony noticed how the boy wasn’t feeling well and decided to step in, and just in a matter of minutes, lovely Vaughn was laughing and smiling again.

This meant so much for Mandy whose life goal was to raise her child in the spirit of doing good to others. Now that someone else did something good for Vaughn, she was certain he’ll learn how important it is for him to do the same thing for someone in need.

“Over the years I’ve tried to live like that and teach my child to do the same.”

Vaughn and Tony became good friends. They would often chat about bikes whenever Mandy and her son were visiting the gas station where he worked.

“(He) listens so obligingly to him as he chatters away.”

The boy knew how much his friend Tony wanted to buy a new bike, so he decided to save some money and purchase it as a present for Tony. The boy obviously didn’t have the right amount, but he was willing to spend all the silver coins he had been collecting for months.

One day, he approached his mommy with a rather confusing question. He asked her how much she wanted to go on holiday that year, because he was willing to spend his holiday money on the bike instead. Mandy couldn’t believe how kind and generous her son was. She always taught him the real values in life, and this was just a proof that she did parenting right.

“(He) asked if I really wanted a holiday and upon asking why, he said he would rather put his savings toward helping Tony get his bike.”

Mandy and Vaughn had a mission. They were getting the best bike for the best guy they knew. Overly excited, the two went to the Game store and purchased the present.

“Our children make us proud on so many occasions but today my heart and his is so full of the joy at the kind man’s face as he, rather stunned accepted his gift from this 10-year-old boy.”

This good deed triggered another one. The chain of generosity and kindness was getting longer. The manager of the store where they bought the bike learned of Vaughn’s story and they wanted to be part of it.

“Vaughn had such ‘good game,’ we just had to get on board! So we’re giving Tony a Game voucher for the same value as his new bike! And of course we can’t forget about you Vaughn, so we’ll be sending one your way, too. Together we can make the world a better place.”

Luis Farias from the gas station where Tony worked was glad one of their employees was the reason so many kind deeds were taking place in this city, and you won’t be surprised if we tell you how they stepped in too and were happy to be part of this “pay it forward” movement Mandy and her son started.

“Dear Mandy and Vaughn, Your kind gesture and generosity is unmatched. We at Caltex Gillitts would like to thank you for your support and generosity and to show our appreciate, we would like to make Vaughn’s dream holiday come true and it’s on us.”

If this story isn’t going to make you do a kind deed yourself, we don’t know what will.

6-year-old gentleman delivers roses to 155 girls and women from his community

“Being a gentleman never goes out of fashion,” and it looks like 6-year-old Casey Boyd of Main Brook, N.L., who truly is a lady’s man, knows this all too well.

This past Valentine’s day, this young boy made the day of 155 women from his neighborhood by delivering roses to them and reminding them just how special they are.

In order to make this plan of his come true, adorable Casey was saving money the entire year. At the end, he could afford a rose for every girl and woman. In return, he got plenty of hugs and kisses. The ladies who were lucky enough to be given that special attention by the young gentleman were over the moon. Some of them even cried tears of joy, and it was the best thank you Casey could ever hope for.

Lynn Boyd, the boy’s mom, who is obviously doing parenting right, helped her son deliver the roses.

Speaking to CBC Radio’s St. John’s Morning Show, Casey said: “I just wanted to put smiles on everyone’s faces.”

At the end of the tiring day, he also gave his mom a bouquet. Well, she is the most special lady in his life and she taught him how to be caring and loving.

Casey says he has already started saving money for next year’s Valentine’s day, too. Way to go young man!

Man saves dog from being euthanized not knowing she was pregnant

Life is full of surprises, and many times, when we lose hope and when we least expect it, a miracle happens and reminds us that nothing is impossible.

Emma was a shelter dog who resided at a Charlotte animal shelter. Sadly, this isn’t a “no-kill” shelter, and poor Emma found herself on the list to be euthanized.

But then, someone took a notice of this lovely girl and took the time to inform an animal lover, Nicholas R., of the state Emma had found herself in. Nicholas though he could foster the dog and eventually adopt her. He got in touch with Dorsey Patrick, the Director and Founder of Jesse’s Place, who was willing to step in and help Nicholas get Emma under his wing.

According to Fox 46 Charlotte, Nicholas wrote to the organization: “I’m interested in fostering and possibly adopting this sweet girl…I’m very patient, calm, gentle, and have plenty of time to work with her. My last rescued boy died in 2016 from cancer.”

In no time, Emma found herself in a loving home. However, no one was aware that she was hiding something. To the surprise of everyone, the dog was pregnant. Days after she was rescued from certain death, Emma gave birth to 6 puppies. So, Nicholas didn’t only save her life, but that of her babies too.

According to him, Emma and the little ones are doing fine. We are so glad Nicholas stepped in for this mother just in time. May God bless him for his kindness.
