Queen Elizabeth’s ring had an engraved message from Prince Philip inside – and now it might be revealed

Every love story is beautiful in its own way, but some are so special that they serve as a reminder that love is the strongest force on Earth and beyond.

The love story between Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburg, lasted for over 70 years. Those were years filled with mutual respect and unity stronger than most marriages, royal on not, have ever witnessed.

According to royal writers, it only took a single glance at one another for young Elizabeth and Philip to fall in love with one another. She was 14 years old when she first met him during a cousin’s wedding of his. In the years that followed the serendipitous meeting, Elizabeth and Phillip were pen-friends who wrote to one another regularly.

When he asked for her hand in marriage, Prince Philip gave away his royal title, Prince of Greece and Denmark, and converted to the Church of England but it was all worth it.

The Queen described him as her “strength and stay” and was left heartbroken after he passed away on April 9, 2021.

Remembered as the man of his people, Prince Philip dedicated his entire life supporting the love of his life and wife of 73 years.

When the two tied the knot, he even gave up his surname, Mountbatten, and took Windsor instead.

“I am the only man in the country not allowed to give his name to his own children,” Philip once said.

But then, after the Queen’s grandmother passing in 1960, the royal family adopted the name Mountbatten-Windsor, which was given to Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s male descendants who hadn’t receive a royal title. Today, Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie and Lilibet, bear the Mountbatten-Windsor name.

Describing his role in the royal family, Prince Philip once shared with BBC, “The problem was to recognize what the niche was and to try and grow into it and that was by trial and error… There was no precedent. If I asked somebody, ‘What do you expect me to do?’ they all looked blank. They had no idea, nobody had much idea.”

When they celebrated 50 years of marriage, the Queen spoke dearly of her husband in an emotional speech.

“All too often, I fear, Prince Philip has had to listen to me speaking. Frequently we have discussed my intended speech beforehand and, as you will imagine, his views have been expressed in a forthright manner,” the late Queen Elizabeth said. “He is someone who doesn’t take easily to compliments but he has, quite simply, been my strength and stay all these years, and I, and his whole family, and this and many other countries, owe him a debt greater than he would ever claim, or we shall ever know.”

Late Queen Elizabeth wore a Welsh gold wedding ring after her royal wedding in 1947, as is tradition. What not many knew, however, was that Prince Philip engraved a message inside the ring and no one except for the two of them and the jeweller knew what it says. “She never takes it off and inside the ring is an inscription. No one knows what it says, other than the engraver, the Queen, and her husband,” Ingrid Seward, author of Prince Philip: Revealed, revealed to Hello Magazine.

However, now that the Queen passed away, it wouldn’t come as a surprise for the message to be revealed.

The ring, which is made from pure Welsh gold from the Clogau St. David’s gold mine, features a fantastic stone, estimated at three carats. It is flanked by smaller pavé diamonds and is estimated to be worth more than $175,000.

This long-lasting royal marriage ended with Prince Philip’s passing, and now the Queen is gone too, but their love story will always serve as a reminder that true love conquers all.

Former ‘NCIS’ star Pauley Perrette shares emotional message and health update after suffering a “massive” stroke

Best known for her role of Abby Sciuto, a quirky forensic scientist, actress Pauley Perrette gave so much to one of our most favorite crime shows ever created, NCIS.

The reason for her departure with the series came after a series of distasteful incidents, one of which involving her co-star, Mark Harmon. It was reported that the relationship between the two turned ‘rather icy’ after Harmon’s dog, whom he brought on the set very often, attacked a member of the crew. Perrette didn’t like the way Harmon reacted to the attack and believed it was inconsiderate from him to bring the dog to the filming again and again despite the incident.

Speaking of it, Harmon claimed that his Pit Bull was always leashed, but other sources claim otherwise.

When she decided she wanted to say goodbye to the show she was one of the central characters of, Perrette took to social media to send a message to her fans. “I hope everyone will love and enjoy EVERYTHING ABBY not only for the rest of this season but for everything she has given all of us for 16 years,” Perrette wrote. “All the love, all the laughter, all the inspiration… I love her as much as you do.”

The actress, who is now 53, opened up about her health and shared that she ‘cheated death’ a year ago. Through social media, the actress revealed that she suffered a “massive” stroke and gave her fans a new health update.

“It’s 9/2. One year ago I had a massive stoke [sic],” Perrette wrote. “Before that I lost so many beloved family and friends …Yet still a survivor after this traumatic life I’ve been given so far.

“How many times do I cheat death?” Perrette asked in a video she included in the post, sharing her heartbreak of losing her father and her cousin prior to the stoke she suffered.

“I’ve been through a lot in the last two years — things that are harder than having a stroke,” she said. “But I’m still here and I’m so grateful. And thank you, those of you who are my friends. Thank you. God bless you all. I’m still here.”

Speaking to Entertainment Now, Perrette went into details about the moment she had the stroke.

“I woke up and had no feeling on the entire right side of my body,” Perrette said. “At first I thought I had just slept funny. When I kept realizing the extent of the numbness; couldn’t feel my finger touching my face, couldn’t feel my face being touched by my finger, couldn’t feel my laptop sitting on my lap, no feeling at all on the right hand side — I could have burned myself or cut my finger off and wouldn’t have known — I called my doctor and he said, ‘GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM IMMEDIATELY.’”

She was then sent to the emergency room.

“Walked into the ER and said, ‘Hey, I can’t feel the right hand side of my body and…’ BAM! OMG! I was on a gurney with a million things stuck in my arms and a bunch of medical people rushing me somewhere,” the actress recalled. “They know how serious a stroke is and how immediate care is imperative.”

This month it’s been a year since the health issue Perrette experienced and she says she’d doing great and that she recovered completely.

“I am doing great and am super healthy now,” Perrette told People as she tried to raise awareness. “I want to thank everyone for their concern and take this opportunity to really plead for everyone to educate themselves on the signs of a stroke and the importance of getting medical help immediately.”

“Also that you can have a stroke AT ANY AGE, which I did not know. Teenagers can have a stroke,” she added.

When it comes to her personal life, what we know about Perrette is that she was married once, but the union ended in divorce. She even asked for a restraining order after separating ways with ex Coyote Shivers.

As per her own claims, Perrette isn’t dating anyone at the moment.

“Tried it. Not for me. Not at all,” the actress stated. “Probably the best decision I ever made in my life was the time that it took me to go like, ‘Wait a minute. This is silly. I don’t have to have a boyfriend, or a husband, or a girlfriend, or anything, you know?’”

Perrette added: “I don’t need any of that. Like, I do whatever I want. I do whatever I want. And I think that is rad!”

We are so happy Pauley Perrette overcame her health issue and we look forward to seeing her in a new project in the future.

Harry still regrets his final conversation with Diana – he grew desperate to numb the pain of her passing

Queen Elizabeth’s passing brought grief all over the world, but it also brought inevitable change within the Royal family.

For 70 years, the Queen served her nation the best she could, and her people would always remember her as the pillar who provided them with strong sense of security. She had been ever cautious, wise, disciplined and discerning in Her Rule, and the new monarch, King Charles III certainly has big shoes to fill when it comes to leading the country.

The Queen’s funeral is expected to take place on September 19. She would be laid to rest at the King George VI Memorial Chapel in Windsor Castle. The body of her late husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, is expected to be relocated and the pair reunited to lie together.

As the news of the Queen’s passing affected millions of people, not only from Britan but the entire world, her beloved grandson, Prince Harry, expressed his sorrow for his grandmother’s loss.

Harry, who left Britan and settled in California together with wife Meghan Markle, has always been a much-loved figure by people from all over the world. He grew up under the watchful eye of the wide public. However, what Britons felt for their Prince was affected by his decision to step down from his royal duties and turn his back to The Firm.

What is most, he spoke of his brother and father as of people trapped inside the system; the same system he was part of his entire life.

During the infamous all-tell interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Sussexes accused Harry’s family of racism after a member of the royalty questioned the skin color of then unborn Archie.

This caused the relationship between Harry and his family to deteriorate, but now that his grandmother died, his father became the King, and a new era for the family started, rumors are he might end up back in the royal fold.

Most of Harry’s upbringing was in a way closely connected to the loss of his mother. Just like William, Harry still has a void in his heart that his mother’s dead brought.

He was aware of how negatively the media affected Lady Di’s life and the pressure she constantly felt, and that was one of the reasons why he left Britan, because he didn’t want his wife to go through the same suffering.

Even today, years after her passing, Harry still has regrets, one of them being the last conversation he had with her, which was very short.

Prior to the car crash in which she lost her life, Diana called her sons, who were spending time in the Scottish Highlands with their cousins. When she talked to Harry, he was eager to end up the phone call as soon as possible because he wanted to continue playing outside. He, however, wasn’t aware that would be the last time he spoke to his loving mother.

“I can’t really necessarily remember what I said but all I do remember is probably regretting for the rest of my life, how short that call was,” he said.

“If I’d known that that was the last time I was going to speak to my mother the things that I would – the things I would have said to her.”

Harry never truly got over the pain of losing his mother. He even confessed that he only cried twice to express his feeling of grief. The first time was in 1997 when he visited his mother’s grave.

“There’s not a day that William and I don’t wish that she was still around, and we wonder what kind of a mother she would be now, and what kind of a public role she would have, and what a difference she would be making.”

We all miss Princess Diana, she was truly one of a kind.

Boy, nearly 7, who lost half his face after being attacked by dogs is called ‘monster’ in public

Ryder Wells from North Carolina is a nearly seven year old boy who had to overcome a lot during his short life and is still fighting. When the boy was only 21 months old, he and his family were visiting friends for Thanksgiving when Ryder was brutally attacked by two 100-pound Rottweilers.

The terrific incident resulted in sweet Ryder losing half of his face. He also had his teeth crushed and suffered from a broken arm and punctured lung. Doctors’ prognosis weren’t bright, but the little fighter survived. Over the course of 5 years, Ryder had to undergo around 50 surgeries to reconstruct his face.

Until he gets mature, he will need to have more surgeries, including nose and teeth reconstruction.

Ryder’s family is proud of their hero son, but they are at the same time concerned for him because he now attends kindergarten and is always starred at, not only by his little friends, but adults too. And although he’s still very young, he is aware of everything. Speaking to The Mirror, his mother Brittany said how “He wears glasses and a cap and sometimes he’ll hang his head to hide his face. But I just tell him every day that he’s beautiful, different is beautiful and it’s ok to be different.”

Gofundme

Recently, the family was at the park when a child pointed at Ryder and started yelling, ‘monster’, before he ran away. This didn’t happen for the first time. “Out shopping the other day someone shouted ‘ew’ at him. It’s hard and it breaks my heart as a parent that after everything he’s been through, people aren’t always nice over something he can’t help.”

Brittany is afraid that things could get even worse once Ryder starts going to school because no matter now innocent children are, they are not really considerate.

She fears her sweet boy may easily become a victim of bullying and is doing all in her power to raise awareness about the effects of bullying on someone like her son. She wants everyone to think twice about how they treat people who are different and hopes her son will be accepted by the society. “I just reassure him as much as I can but I’m absolutely terrified about when he goes to school. There are always going to be a couple of kids who aren’t kind,” she adds.

We should all teach our children to embrace differences and always treat everyone with respect because that would help children like sweet Ryder have a better life.

King Charles’ ‘sausage’ fingers spark concerns: The Queen said he had ‘interesting’ hands even as a baby

With the sudden passing of Queen Elizabeth II, changes in the British Royal family took place. Prince Charles now became King Charles III and William and Kate received the titles of Prince and Princess of Wales.

The newly appointed King gave emotional speech to the nation and spoke dearly of his late mother and everything she had done for the country and its people during her 70 years of reign.

“Her dedication and devotion as Sovereign never waivered, through times of change and progress, through times of joy and celebration, and through times of sadness and loss,” King Charles said, adding a few heartfelt words for his wife of 17 years, Camilla, who becomes Queen Consort.

“I know she will bring to the demands of her new role the steadfast devotion to duty on which I have come to rely so much.”

Charles added that despite the sorrow around the nation and Commonwealth, people would always “remember and draw strength from the light of her example.”

Other members of the royalty also expressed their sadness over the Queen’s passing. Prince Harry was among them. On his Archwell website, Harry wrote, “Granny, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings – from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren.”

He then added, “I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between. You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over.

“And as it comes to first meetings, we now honour my father in his new role as King Charles III.”

Queen Elizabeth witnessed history being made over the years and she certainly was part of history herself. Her reign saw 15 different Prime Ministers, from Winston Churchill to the newly appointed Liz Truss. It was Truss with whom the late Queen had her last duty as a royal when she welcomed her to her summer home, Balmoral Castle, located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, shortly before her passing.

Truss, as well as senior MPs, swore a new oath of allegiance to King Charles.

As King Charles takes over the throne, photos of his fingers raise concerns regarding his health.

Namely, the King’s fingers look swollen, but it turns out he was born that way.

During a visit to Australia in 2012, King Charles allegedly joked about his fingers, referring to them as to his ‘sausage fingers.’

After William was born, Charles sent a letter to a friend informing him that he became a father. In the letter, he wrote, “I can’t tell you how excited and proud I am. He really does look surprisingly appetizing and has sausage fingers just like mine,” as per Howard Hodgson biography Charles, The Man Who Will Be King.

The Queen herself was aware Charles’ fingers were ‘different’ from the moment he was born.

“The baby is very sweet and we are enormously proud of him. He has an interesting pair of hands for a baby,” a letter from Queen Elizabeth read.

“They are rather large, but with fine long fingers quite unlike mine and certainly unlike his father’s. It will be interesting to see what they become. I still find it hard to believe I have a baby of my own!”

However, now that he became King, doctors raised concerns regarding his health. Dr. Gareth Nye, Senior Lecturer at the University of Chester, spoke to the Daily Star and explained that King Charles’ swollen fingers might be a result of oedema or fluid retention.

“Oedema is a condition where the body starts to retain fluids in the limbs, normally the legs and ankles but also in the fingers, which causes them to swell,” Nye said. “Oedema is a common condition and mostly affects people over the age of 65 as the ability for fluid control is restricted.”

He added, “To see if this is the cause, pressing the swollen area for about 15 seconds would cause a depression in the area.”

The state of his fingers could also be a sign of arthritis.

“There certainly aren’t any immediate health concerns to be concluded from swollen fingers and is most likely a sign of his age;” Dr. Gareth Nye concluded.

King Charles’ private life was a turbulent one. His marriage to Princess Diana ended in divorce after he got involved in an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles. The late Princess learned of her husband’s cheating, and she even confronted Camilla once. Lady Di died in a tragic car accident five years after the divorce.

People laughed at her after someone snapped a photo of her as she fell inside the grocery store

Very often, people who don’t seem to fit in what is considered ‘normal’ by the society get judged and are made fun of by others and that is the sad face of humanity.

Back in 2012, a woman named Jennifer Knapp Wilkinson got involved in an accident that made her a meme and a subject of humiliation. Despite the number of years that passed by, she is still affected by the photo of her falling from a wheelchair that went viral overnight.

Namely, Wilkinson was overweight, and it wasn’t her fault entirely. She had been experiencing severe pain in her spine which prevented her from having much physical activity and that added to her weight. Her disease made her body weak, especially her legs. She had also been experiencing difficulties maintaining balance and was struggling with depression.

At the time the viral photo was taken, Wilkinson was at a supermarket, using a wheelchair to navigate around. At one point, she reached towards a pack of juice for her husband, but she fell out of the wheelchair.

Sadly, instead of helping her stand on her feet and asking if she was okay, someone snapped a photo of her which they later shared online.

Many people took their time to comment on the photo which showed this woman in a state of helplessness. Sadly, they didn’t feel sorry for her. Instead, they made fun of her weight. That crushed her, but it also made her aware that she was in need of a change that would make her life a bit easier.

Wilkinson says she gained ‘fame’ with the embarrassing photo of her, and she wants to spread a message that obesity is a disease.

She is now trying to live healthy, but with all the health issues she is facing, that’s not really easy.

The reason why Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley were never parents

He was the King of Pop and she was the daughter of the King of Rock and Roll. What a couple one would say, and they wouldn’t be far from the truth about Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley.

When the two tied the knot, it felt like bringing two music dynasties together.

However, their marriage was short-lived and only lasted for two years, period during which Jackson faced accusations of child molesting. It was widely reported that Jackson was dependant of his wife amid the personal struggles he was going through, and she was huge support.

Back in the day, she was reported saying, “I believed he didn’t do anything wrong, and that he was wrongly accused and, yes, I started falling for him. I wanted to save him. I felt that I could do it.”

Later, she tried to persuade him to settle the allegations out of court and go into rehabilitation to recover. The King of Pop subsequently did both.

Having had two children from her previous marriage to Chicago-born musician Danny Keough, daughter Riley Keough, an actress and model, and son Benjamin Storm Keough, Presley didn’t want any more children, so she and Jackson didn’t have any.

The two alienated because of her decision not to make him a father.

Still, Jackson became a father. Two of his children, Michael Joseph “Prince” Jackson, Jr. and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson were brought into the world by the singer’s second wife and friend of many years Debbie Rowe. In fact, rumors were that he married her so that she could help him become a father, something the pop icon wanted badly.

Debbie was still more of a friend than a wife. In fact, she was more like a surrogate than a mother and wasn’t attached to the children.

“My kids don’t call me Mom because I don’t want them to. They’re Michael’s children. It’s not that they are not my children, but I had them because I wanted him to be a father. People make remarks, ‘I can’t believe she left her children.’ Left them? I left my children? I did not leave my children. My children are with their father, where they are supposed to be. I didn’t do it to be a mother… If he called me tonight and said let’s have five more [children], I’d do it in a heartbeat,” she said during an interview with English journalist Martin Bashir.

In 1999, Michael and Debbie divorced, and he got full custody of the children.

The star’s third child, Prince Michael Jackson II, or better known as Blanket, was born in 2002, but information regarding who his mother is has never been revealed.
