But what about the impact on the charger itself? The charger being constantly plugged into the wall outlet, whether it’s behind the bed or next to the sofa, could be costing us money or posing a safety hazard.

There have been plenty of stories of phones bursting into flames or exploding during the charging process. In addition to using an authentic charger, it’s crucial to ensure that nothing covers your phone while it charges, allowing the heat generated to dissipate safely.
Unfortunately, using the phone while charging it can pose danger to the user, just like in the case of a 13-year-old girl from the Satates.
It happened that the girl’s mother noticed strange red marks on her daughter’s neck after she complained she was experiencing pain.
The burns were quite serious so her mom took her to the doctor’s. Once at the hospital, it was determined that she got them while talking to a friend with her phone plugged into a wall charger. The presence of a metal necklace led to an electric arc, resulting in the burns.
The mom is now sharing her daughter’s story in order to prevent others from getting burned the way her daughter did.

Dysfunctional families affect the quality of life of each of the members, especially the children. These troubled relationships cause chronic feelings of guilt, shame, or worthlessness, as well as attachment issues.
The teenager who shared her story on Reddit some time ago comes from such a family where the father is basically absent from his children’s lives despite living under one roof with them.
She took to the Reddit thread AITA to explain that it was her mother who took care of her and her siblings while the father wasn’t really involved in their upbringing.
One day, as he got home and left his mobile phone on the table, OP could read the message that he received at that moment which said, “last night was amazing, can’t wait to see you again” and some emojis.
After thinking about it for a short time, she decided to tell her mother that her dad was cheating on her. “She got pretty emotional which I felt bad about, and told me not to worry and that I should just worry about being a kid and let her take care of the rest, so I just let it go cause I didn’t want to hurt her more.”
One evening, the entire family gathered for dinner at OP’s grandfathers. There, her cousin shared the news that she started a new job. Everyone was pleased with the news, but then OP’s father told OP that she should be more like her cousin because she wasn’t any good according to him. But he didn’t stop there. In fact, he continued shaming OP telling her she should focus more on school and a lot more.
At one moment he mentioned that OP lacked respect for him, and that was the final straw.
At this point, OP had it enough. “Hard to respect you when you openly cheat on Mom and don’t even try to hide it,” she said in front of everyone.
The room went silent at first, but then her father started yelling both at her and her mother. The mom then took her kids and told her husband she shouldn’t be returning home.
Once home, OP started receiving text messages from her relatives who accused her of ruining the evening and the family. Her mom, however, told her “that she understood my frustration and I probably should have expressed it better privately but what’s done is done.”
Redditors were quick to comment that OP was NTA.

Theme parks are the magical place for kids. Kids enjoy taking ride or amusing themselves with their favourite movie or cartoon characters. These ‘magical places’ are mostly visited by kids, but adults are no exception at all. Adults also enjoy the theme parks and they love having some fun.
This was particularly true for Dan and his daughter. One day, the normal walk around the theme park turned out to be quite memorable for Dan. The ‘theme park’s magic’ worked and he became an instant sensation in the park. All thanks to his daughter and a piano that could be found in the park.
Undoubtedly, the most famous theme park in the country is Disney World. Millions of people go there with their kids. Kids love taking photos of their favourite cartoon characters, eating ice cream a trying rides.
Dan Gigliello and his 6-year old daughter Lyla were having fun in Disney World like all other visitors. However, while they were walking around the park, they noticed a piano and a pianist. They were listening to the music he was playing and as soon as he stopped, Lyla told the man that her father can play the piano too. This led to unexpected performance.
Justin is a music teacher and he knows how to play the piano. However, he told the man that he is better at signing. Justin thought this episode is over, but Lyla had other plans. She and the pianist made Justin sing.
In the middle of the hall, the pianist and Justin started their performance. With ‘Ave Maria’ Justin amazed all around. This was a life-time experience for him. Many visitors stopped by and enjoyed the performance. Many people took photos and videos of the singer. The days turned out to be quite remarkable for Justin.
Lyla did not hide her happiness. For the local newspapers, she said: “He sang it out loud and almost everyone took a video of him.”
Lauren, Justin’s wife, was also amazed, particularly by the show he prepared. The end of the performance was marked with loud applause. People were amused and loved the show. Justin’s video of his performance was posted on the Internet and thousands of viewers left good comments.
This fame was never expected by Justin. Even though he knows how to sing and play the instruments, he was never even imagining that one day he will become an Internet sensation.
He said to a local publication: “It’s beyond what I ever could have dreamed.”

It was announced by the Palace in January that Kate was supposed to undergo a surgery at the London Hospital. Despite the fact that the surgery was a planned one, no further details had been released.
Once the procedure was over, Kate stayed at the hospital longer than everyone assumed, and that’s when speculations surrounding her health started. However, in the weeks to come, those speculations and rumors grew bigger and bigger when Kate was nowhere to be seen.

The first time she was spotted in public was with her mother, inside a car. The photo of the Princess’s appearance was taken and shared by TMZ.
On Mother’s Day, Kate posted a photo of herself and her kids posing on the patio. This photo was probably supposed to assure the public that the princess was indeed doing well as the Palace insisted.
But soon after the photo was published, it was determined that someone edited it. It was obvious the image was manipulated, which triggered the news agencies to issue a “kill notice.”
After numerous speculations and accusations, Kate posted on the social media that she was the one who edited the image before posting it online. Many saw this as the Palace throwing her under the bus and not standing up for her.
Eventually, on March 22, Kate Middleton shared with the world that she has cancer. In the video message she posted, Kate explained that following her surgery doctors ran tests and spotted the presence of cancer. She added that she started receiving therapy shortly after but kept her diagnosis a secret up until that point because she and William needed time to figure it out how to share the news with the children.

Now, the public is praying for Kate’s well-being and they are sending their best wishes. When the Princess of Wales would be able to return to her royal duties is not known. She, however, was reported to have been quite busy working from the comfort of her home.
Following her surgery, Kate found the time to send an emotional letter to TV host Kate Garraway whose husband died due to complications from COVID-19 in January.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Garraway shared she had received a letter from David and Victoria Beckham, as well as from William and Kate.
“And from the royal family — Catherine and William sent a beautiful letter, and I know Catherine has been in hospital herself,” the host said.
“Even the King — because there is somebody [who] knows about grief — that anticipatory grief where you know something has a risk of happening and how different it is when it does happen.”

Garraway isn’t the only person who has received a letter from the princess.
On April 6, X user @AllemarieHoll1 touched the hearts of royal enthusiasts by sharing a heartwarming story about receiving a letter from Kensington Palace, the official residence of the Prince and Princess of Wales. In January, she and her family had sent a card to Kate Middleton after her abdominal surgery, and they were delighted to receive a response.
“Back in January, when we were informed our beautiful Princess of Wales had undergone surgery, I sent her a card with our (my family and I) sincerest best wishes for healing and, of course, an abundance of love,” she wrote as reported by Express. “Today, I received this beautiful acknowledgment, and I can honestly say I shall treasure this my entire life.”
The thank you card to her and her husband had Kensington Palace printed at the top and stated, “Thank you for your kind well wishes to Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales. Your thoughtful gesture is very much appreciated.”
Of course, royal fans were quick to comment under @AllemarieHoll1’s post, praising Kate’s sympathetic nature.

Kate and Charles receive plenty of support from both their family and their fans who are eagerly waiting to see them back in public performing their royal duties.
However, royal expert and author Katie Nicholl believes that Kate receives most support from her parents and siblings.
“She has a really tight group of friends and, particularly in Norfolk, really close friends there. But I think the real anchors in her life are her parents… and her brother James… and her sister Pippa,” she said.
“While you certainly don’t see them photographed together very often, they are very much there in the background. They are absolutely fundamental.”

Katie Nicholl continued by explaining that Kate Middleton’s parents felt “very relieved” that their daughter’s cancer was found in its early stages.
“Catherine is going to have the very best doctors in the world looking after her, so she’s in safe hands,” Katie Nicholl added. “Carol and Michael, they’ve always been an incredibly strong couple and also very down to earth… what they’ll be doing right now is they’ll be coming together and supporting her — and not just William and Kate, [but] their grandchildren, too.”
While Kate’s parents didn’t share an official message on the social media regarding’s Kate’s cancer, her brother, James, did.
Posting a photo of him and his sister as kids, he wrote, “Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too.”
Having in mind that she’s receiving chemo treatments, it is not known when the Princess will be able to return to her royal duties.

According to GB News royal correspondent Cameron Walker, there’s speculation that the Princess of Wales could be closer to making public appearances than anticipated. Walker suggests that she “might attend certain events” in the near future.
“Because of the princess’ cancer diagnosis, she is undergoing preventative chemotherapy at the moment. What I am hearing from those close to the princess is that she may well decide to attend certain events if she feels up to it and if she’s keen to go,” Cameron Walker said.
“But in terms of a return to full-scale public duties and as a full-time working royal, I suspect that’s some time to come yet. But perhaps, maybe we’ll see her at some point this summer.”
The royal expert concluded, “But it just honestly depends on how her treatment goes.”

After months of speculations, Kate Middleton has finally put a stop to the rumors concerning her health and her whereabouts. On March 22, the Princess of Wales released a touching video in which she disclosed her cancer diagnosis with the public and the media.

She explained that her cancer was discovered when doctors ran tests following her planned abdominal surgery and it took her time to share the diagnosis with the public because she and William were trying to figure out a way to inform the children first.
“As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte, and Louis in a way that is appropriate for them and to reassure them that I am going to be ok. As I have said to them, I am well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal; in my mind, body, and spirits.”
“We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able. But for now I must focus on making a full recovery,” she added.

Further, Kate addressed those battling cancer.
“For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone,” the princess said.

Recently, an emotional encounter between a cancer survivor and Kate Middleton has come to light.
Amidst Kate’s battle with cancer, royal fan Paul Philip Roberts, now 53, who had undergone surgery for lung cancer recalled the meeting with the princess and revealed that her compassionate nature was on full display during that poignant encounter. The touching moment took place during a visit to Blackpool in 2019 by Kate and William.
As per Express, Roberts praised Kate for showing him that “she cares,” adding that his “heart goes out to her” when speaking to PA about the encounter.
When he told her about his diagnosis, Kate responded with three emotional words: “Just keep going.”
“I’d just come out of hospital and Kate was visiting Blackpool with Prince William, they were touring Blackpool, and it was then that I managed to chat to her,” he told PA. “She did a walkabout, William went on one side and she came the other side, she came to my side, and we were chatting for a good five minutes.”

“We were chatting and I was saying, my life has changed, it was so difficult, you’ve got to go through every emotion. She basically said, ‘What cancer is it?’ and I said it was stage three and that I had my lung out, and she said, ‘Oh my God, that’s awful,’ and she said, ‘Just keep going,’ and she gave us a hug.”
Roberts said it was evident to him that she genuinely cared. He expressed his belief that by disclosing her cancer diagnosis, the Princess of Wales would offer support to thousands of others.
“It’s beneficial to the community and to the world, when you think about how many people she might have saved,” he told PA and concluded by sending Kate Middleton a message of his own.
“Always focus on getting stronger. That’s my message to her, is to focus on getting stronger, and take all the support that you can because it’s crucial. I just wish her all the luck in the world and I hope she manages to get through it, especially for her family.”

Isabella Strahan, the daughter of Good Morning America host Michael Strahan, has been undergoing chemotherapy since her emergency surgery in October.
Isabella was diagnosed with medulloblastoma in October 2023. Previously, she struggled with constant headaches during her freshman year of college at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
“I didn’t realize anything was wrong until probably around October 1,” she told Roberts. “That’s when I definitely noticed headaches, nausea, couldn’t walk straight.”
“I’m feeling well. Not too bad,” she said and added she is to start therapy next month.
Before she was diagnosed, Isabella felt dizzy at times and she believed that was the reason behind her headaches, but one day in October of last year, she felt ill and started vomiting blood. That’s when she knew something serious was going on.
“I was thinking, ‘Hm, this probably isn’t good.’ So I texted [my sister], who told the entire family.”
“That was when we decided, ‘You need to really go get a thorough checkup,’” Michael said. “Thank goodness for the doctor. I believe this doctor saved her life by saying, ‘Let’s perform the whole checkup.’”
The 19-year-old USC student and model has been openly sharing her cancer journey through a YouTube series to raise awareness and support for Duke Children’s Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina. In her latest video, she shared a positive update on her condition.
Isabela told her fans that she will be done with chemotherapy in May because her treatments were reduced.
“My doctor just called me and told me I only have to do two more rounds of chemotherapy, and it’s like the biggest thing. I’m so happy,” Isabella shared.
“I’ll be done in May. And I can kind of try and have a summer to feel better,” she continued. “And I’m so happy cause I thought I’d be done at the end of July. I was supposed to do six rounds in total. And then I really would just have to go straight back to school. I’m so happy.”
However, in her newest video, Isabella revealed she’s back in the hospital for a third unexpected brain surgery.
“There’s ups and downs to this…. I’m in a down right now,” she admitted and explained that when her fever exceeds 100.4 degrees, she must seek medical help. “I started hysterically crying because I needed to get an IV and I haven’t had an IV in so long. They’re giving me fluids right now and antibiotics.” Isabella then went in for another procedure.
“So they did a little procedure. I’ve had this one before. They stuck a needle in three spots and drain fluid and I was completely awake for this. My first completely awake surgery.”
As a result of this her chemotherapy has been pushed back. But no matter this setback, Isabella is feeling better.

“George is ten now and can’t be shielded from any of this now,” a palace source told the Times. “Once it’s at the school gate and in the school playground, he won’t be able to avoid it.”
According to King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold, Kate and William chose a different approach for each of the children when they shared the news of her cancer with them. He believes that the couple most likely “sugarcoated” her health issues when they broke the news to Prince Louis.

“I’m sure it was a very difficult and very different conversation between children,” Grant Harrold told the NY Post. “For instance, for Louis, I’m sure the conversation was more sugarcoated than it was with George and Charlotte.”
The former butler continued, “The older children can understand more, so I’d imagine it was a little more frank but undoubtedly staying positive, which is so important.
“That’s why when you now look at the picture of Kate with her three children, it brings a tear to your eye. For any mother to have that conversation is huge and you can imagine Charlotte and George are going to be good supports for her.”

He added that Louis is too young to understand her mom’s condition.
“It’s a tricky one. I’m sure the children will be handling it as any kids would be expected to handle it, but I think their parents are very good at being calm and collected, and I think that will rub off on the children,” he told the NY Post.
During Easter break, the children spent their time at Anmer Hall at the Sandringham Estate with their parents where they had fun and went egg hunting.
As per GB News host Bev Turned, Easter was a perfect time to discuss what was happening. She noted that Kate “wanted to tell her children in her own time,” adding that the princess “didn’t want to be pushed into it” even though the speculations grew.
“She’s got them off for Easter for 2 or 3 weeks now, and she can talk to them and keep them close,” Turned said.
Now that the holiday is over, the family is likely stressed over the fact that the children are getting back to school where they could be questioned of their mom’s cancer by the schoolmates.

Royal experts believe that Prince George may feel the most pressure.
“George might have a retinue of bodyguards who probably know 17 ways to kill someone using only their bare hands, but even they can’t protect the boy from schoolyard tattle and kids talking,” Daniela Elser wrote in a column for News.com.au.
“It would seem that by and large the Lambrook community has, and will continue to, rally around the family, however there are limits and kids, even ones who start their day with boiled quails eggs and celery salt, are only kids. How will George, Charlotte and Louis cope having to be back at school where all of their classmates and the entire world knows their mum is unwell?”
Elser continued, “The good news is that William, Kate, and their three have another blessed week of peace and quiet and more nature than you could shake an antique mahogany stick at before this all descends on them, and George realizes he’s lost his Latin primer.”

After quite some time, the young prince was spotted in public with his father during a football match. Aston Villa played French side Lille in the Europa Conference League and the father and son cheered their favorite club on.
It was obvious that the father-son duo had plenty of fun, especially because Aston Villa won 2-1.
“Just wow. Two future kings just enjoying a fabulous night without security to the Tee or some type of stupid drama. Prince William and Prince George are the finest father and son duo,” one person wrote on X, as per Express.
Another added, “Just normal dad & son stuff of two unassuming future Kings.”
