Sunny Hostin expressed her disappointment over the presidential election results, stating that Donald Trump returning to the White House has left her “profoundly disturbed.”
Not only Sunny Hostin but also the rest of the hosts of The View have been very vocal about their endorsement of Trump’s political opponent, Kamala Harris.
Throughout the election period, they referred to Trump as to “psychotic” and discussed his “levels of depravity” with their guests.
“I think that in 2016, we didn’t know what we would get from a Trump administration, but we know now. And we know now that we will have almost unfettered power,” Hostin said on the show.
Following Trump’s win, Sunny Hostin deleted her X account, as promised, stating she didn’t want to have anything related to Elon Musk, who now officially joined the U.S. government as a “special government employee,” precisely, the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“I’m not going to buy a Tesla, I’m not going to buy Tesla stock,” she said.
She also added that she used to love Twitter, but once Musk over took it, he ruined it.
“Twitter was a hellscape before Elon Musk, then he changed the name to X, which was stupid,” she said according to Decider, adding, “Nobody calls it X!”
Just recently, a number of media outlets reported that Sunny Hosting called Musk “b*****d” on The View. The article even stated that another host, Joy Behar, apologized to the tech mogul and said Hostin’s opinion didn’t reflect that of The View.
However, the rumors about Hosting ever offending Musk on live TV by calling him “b*****d” turned out not to be true.
Not only no reliable media site shared the news, but there are also no videos that prove that to be true.

Video of SpaceX owner Elon Musk walking off stage and away from his 4-year-old son X Æ A-Xii, leaving the kid on his own, was shared on the social media.
As per the Mail Online, the video was allegedly taken in January after a MAGA rally.
4-year-old X is seen slowly walking behind his father while holding the handrail, descending down the stairs with no adult in sight.
The video shows the boy struggling to get down the metal stairs while his father walks out through a set of doors.
Once the clip was posted on X, owned by Musk, people were quick to judge his role as a father.
“That kid could have taken a tumble and hurt himself,” someone commented. “Doesn’t surprise me that he forgot his child,” another added.
Many agreed the video was “concerning,” with a person writing, “As a father, I simply cannot understand this. I could be grocery shopping alone and will STILL habitually check below me and behind me. I can’t imagine that habit will go away anytime soon.. my sons 3. How old is Elons? [sic] 5?”
However, after the viral clip caused stir on the social media, a new one resurfaced, showing that things weren’t what they seemed and that the tech mogul didn’t really “abandon” his son.
Before waving to the crowd, Musk glances behind to check on his son. Once he reaches the bottom of the steps, he waits for X to get down and even urges him along.
The clip then shows the father and son rejoicing.
Many people argue that even if Musk really walked away from his son, which is apparently not what had happened, the security guards would make sure he was safe and sound.
Musk supporters were angry at the initial clip that portrayed the billionaire as a bad father.
“Good job posting this! The truth always comes out in the end. No one loves kids more than Elon Musk, and no one should ever rush to judge a father based on a single misleading clip,” someone commented.
“Even if he did walk ahead for a moment, who hasn’t? Parents have a million thoughts running through their heads at any moment – especially someone with the responsibilities Elon carries.
“Before pointing fingers, people should stop and ask themselves: Have I ever made a mistake? Have I ever been distracted for a second? No one is perfect, but what truly matters is love, presence, and care and Elon has shown time and time again that he deeply loves and cares for his children.”
Little X often accompanies his father.

The liver represents the second largest organ in the human body. It’s function is to process nutrients from food and beverages while filtering out harmful substances from the blood.
When fats build up in the liver, it leads to a condition known as fatty liver or hepatic steatosis.
Fatty liver is often considered the initial stage of certain liver diseases such as liver fibrosis and cirrhosis.
However, the condition can be reversed if the underlying cause of the fat buildup is identified.
According to Bupa, some of the symptoms of fatty liver include feeling tired, pair or discomfort on the right side of the abdomen, itchy skin, swollen ankles, legs, feet, or tummy, bruising, and yellowing of the skin or the eyes.
The types of this condition are Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (AFLD), caused by excessive alcohol consumption, and Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), related to metabolic disorders.

Although there are no medications that treat this condition, in many cases, changes in the lifestyle can help prevent it and reverse it. Adopting a balanced diet, reducing the alcohol intake, exercising regularly, and managing the weight are the most crucial.
When it comes to the diet, opt for fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, low fat dairy, and healthy fats and oils. Drink plenty of water and reduce the consumption of foods high in sodium, trans fats, saturated fats, and refined carbohydrates.

Certain supplements and home remedies can help with the condition, such as omega-3 fatty acid supplements, Vitamin E, and green tea.

Scientists are investigating a surprising possibility: gum disease may cause Alzheimer’s, challenging long-held assumptions about how the memory-robbing condition begins. Traditionally, doctors attribute Alzheimer’s to a mix of genetics, age-related brain changes, and environmental factors—but a growing body of research points toward gum health as a key player in the disease’s development. If these findings hold up, it might be time to upgrade our dental care routines.
Bacteria in the Brain?
Back in 2019, a team of experts noticed that the bacterium behind chronic gum disease (Porphyromonas gingivalis) turned up in the brains of people who had Alzheimer’s. Meanwhile, lab tests on mice revealed that oral infections could trigger the production of amyloid beta—those pesky proteins often linked to dementia. Although many researchers stop short of saying gum disease may cause Alzheimer’s outright, they agree it’s a connection worth exploring further.
The Mouth-Brain Connection
Stephen Dominy of Cortexyme, a startup that looks into all things neurodegenerative, once explained that we’ve suspected germs might spark Alzheimer’s for a while, but the evidence wasn’t strong enough. Then his team found markers of gum bacteria in both diagnosed Alzheimer’s patients and in some who hadn’t been diagnosed. So the real question is whether dementia leads to poor dental care—or if something lurking in your gums could help kick-start the disease. Either way, gum disease may cause Alzheimer’s is a hypothesis that’s impossible to ignore.
Should We Rethink Prevention?
For now, many experts say we shouldn’t panic. Regular brushing, flossing, and dentist visits are always good ideas, regardless of any potential Alzheimer’s link. Still, the notion that a seemingly distant infection could affect our brain health reminds us that the body is one interconnected system. Keeping an eye on gum health just might be another tool in fighting cognitive decline in the future.

The prom night was around the corner and my excitement didn’t match that of most students who consider it the greatest night of their life. At the time, I wasn’t dating anyone and didn’t feel like asking anyone either.
As I was thinking about it, I saw my great-grandmother Alma sitting in her recliner, watching old black and white movies, and then it hit me.
“Granny, you ever went to prom?” I asked her. She looked at me and smiled. “Honey, back in the day, girls like me didn’t get asked to prom.”
“Would you be my date, then?” I asked her. Her answer? – “Let me see what I can wear.”
A week later, my great-grandma, who’s been through a lot throughout her life, was wearing the most beautiful dress. I made sure I had a matching tie.
Needless to say, the night was as incredible as I anticipated when I decided to take her to prom with me.
To everyone’s surprise, despite her old age of 89, my great-grandma danced through the night.
Her joyful demeanor was a true delight.
The DJ even dedicated a song to her, Always by Ella Fitzgerald. As we danced, all eyes were on us. My friends were eager to dance with my great-grandma, and at the end of the night, she was crowned a honorary prom queen. She even got a makeshift crown and a sash that read “Prom’s Best Spirit.”
When the night was over, my great-grandma whispered to my ear, “Honey, I’d never dreamed I’d ever have a night like this in my life.”
The following day, the local newspaper wrote about Alma and her incredible experience. Photos of her with the headline Great-Grandma Alma Takes Prom by Storm were shared online, sparking positivity and plenty of comments praising the elderly lady.
This experience taught me that we should always try to make the most of every moment.

I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard James Carville’s bold prediction: Carville says Trump’s White House will collapse in just a matter of weeks. Carville, who’s well-known for his blunt political assessments, believes the president’s flurry of dismissals and executive orders—plus a sinking approval rating—are enough to spark a major meltdown in the administration.
Why Carville’s So Certain
According to this 80-year-old Democratic strategist, Trump’s support has gone from low 50s to upper 30s in no time. Carville argues that key Republican allies might jump ship if the economy falters under recent cost-cutting moves by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). From Carville’s perspective, Democrats can simply step aside and watch, since Carville says Trump’s White House will collapse like a house of cards once moderate Republicans grow uneasy.
Trump’s Fiery Response
The president, unsurprisingly, isn’t taking these remarks lying down. On his Truth Social platform, Trump blasted Carville as a “loser” who can’t wrap his head around the president’s supposed “best polling numbers.” Still, Carville doubled down, telling media outlets that the administration’s in free fall and it won’t take more than a month to hit rock bottom. Is the White House really on the verge of crumbling, or is this just another political standoff? Either way, Carville says Trump’s White House will collapse, and that claim is setting off a storm of speculation across cable news and social media alike.
“It’s over!” James Carville predicts the Trump administration is going to completely collapse in “less than 30 days”. He advises Dems to sit back and let it happen. (Video: SiriusXM/Mediaite) pic.twitter.com/bfA2bMF6pk
When my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I took care of her by inviting her to live with me and my family.
My children loved her unconditionally, and despite her disease, she wasn’t a demanding person.
But then, one day, she went missing.
I was four hours away from home, taking my kids to a summer camp, when my husband, Nate, who was supposed to watch over her, called me and told me my mom vanished.
He got up in the middle of the night and noticed she wasn’t there.
The search lasted for three long and agonizing days.
I froze. My mom seemed lucid, it was obvious it wasn’t the Alzheimer’s talking.
“Why, mom?” I asked her.
And that’s when she told me that she saw Nate in the bedroom with another woman. He tried to convince her that she was imagining things, but she was sure of what she had seen.
Trying to play tricks with her mind, Nate told my mother she no longer lived there, that it was no longer her home, and that she needed to leave.
Nate was the one who let her wander off aware of her health condition.
I looked at Nate, who was shocked. He started assuring me that my mom was talking nonsense, that she wasn’t in her right mind, but I knew my mom was well aware of her words.
Not only he cheated on me, but he was willing to risk my mom’s life in order to protect himself.
I no longer recognized the man I loved and shared my life with.
It didn’t take long before Alzheimer’s took over my mom again, but at least she could warn me of my husband.
In the days to come, I packed my belongings and left Nate for good.

Oscar nominated actor Alec Baldwin showed his support for Kamala Harris during the elections that saw Donald Trump a winner.
Alec Baldwin endorsed Trump’s opponent publicly.
He spoke to the camera and gave an insight into his political views back in November 2024.
According to Baldwin, who played President Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live, and won an Emmy for it, stated that Harris would lead the country better than her political opponent.
“Today is Sunday, two more days is the election – I think nearly all of us know what’s at stake,” he said back in the day. “People say, ‘Oh, the future of the country is at stake,’ and that might be true, but what’s at stake is the next four years.
“In terms of certain problems we have with – yes, the border and yes, what our military is gonna be asked to do and what we’re gonna pay for that – but the environment is the most important thing to me right now, because you can’t undo it”
Alec Baldwin then made some comments about the Tesla and SpaceX owner, who supported Trump’s political campaign with millions of dollars and earned himself the position of the leader of the government efficiency initiative known as DOGE.
“Elon Musk comes up with ideas which are apparently great ideas, people love their Teslas; Elon Musk comes up with ideas but none that I know of are going to solve our environmental problem,” Baldwin said. “Maybe the Musks of the world could turn their attention toward solving those problems on a grand scale, that would be great.”
The actor stated that Harris’ views on environmental issues were better than those of Trump.
Allegedly, Baldwin now threatens to discover Musk’s secrets, saying the tech billionaire doesn’t deserve to stay in the country. However, no reliable media has confirmed this to be true.

My husband was finally getting home after the long business trip, and I was looking forward to a nice family dinner. The entire house smelled of homecooked food, the table was all set, and the coziness of our lovely home only added to the beauty of that evening – which soon turned into a nightmare.
“Honey, I’m home,” Jack yelled from the front door. And before I could get downstairs, our 5-year-old daughter was already all over her dad’s suitcase, looking for “tiny” treasures and asking “Dad, what did you get me?”
Jack was too exhausted to be able to play with Emma, who couldn’t stop bouncing around her dad’s suitcase in excitement.
And then, she came running to me. “Mom, look what I’ve found.”
I was oblivious of the tiny pictures she had in her tiny hand, but when I took a closer look I realized it was an ultrasound. The initials written on the bottom didn’t ring a bell.
When I turned it around, I almost fainted. “Hi Daddy, I’m coming soon. —T ❤️,” were the words written on it.
Never in a million years did I suspect Jack could be having an affair. He has always been so loving, caring, and thoughtful.
My hands were shaking as I was holding the proof Emma found in her dad’s suitcase.
I wanted to confront Jack. But then, I thought it would be for the best if I made him confess everything himself, so I printed a fake picture of an ultrasound with my initials on it.
The following evening, I gave it to him. “Surprise!” I yelled, pretending to be excited about becoming a mom again.
Jack, on the other hand, was shocked.
“What’s wrong, honey?” I asked. “Aren’t you happy? We are going to have another child.”
Jack couldn’t hold it any longer. He looked at me and said, “You know everything, don’t you?”
Of course I knew, but I pretended I had no idea what he was talking about.
Jack couldn’t keep his secret any longer. As tears started rolling down his face, he said, “I don’t love her. It was a mistake,” confessing another woman was carrying his child.
And then, he said, “Maybe we can raise the babies together?”
“What BABIES, Jack?” I asked, furious. “I’m not really pregnant. I just knew you’d reveal your secret under so much pressure.”
Jack did everything to make me forgive him. But I couldn’t. All I could think of was that he was with another woman whenever he was saying he was taking business trips.
The ultrasound picture Emma found in her dad’s suitcase shattered my marriage, but it also made me realize the truth about the man I trusted so much.

My next door neighbor, Rebecca, had been part of my life for as long as I remembered. She wasn’t just someone living next door, but a loving and caring woman who always offered cookies and never forgot anyone’s birthday.
Rebecca never married and never had children – at least that’s what I had been told.
She was part of my family while I was growing up, while out of town to attend college, and even after I moved to my childhood neighborhood after staring my own family.
“Come and taste these cookies,” Rebecca would often say. “I think I perfected the recipe this time.”
Needless to say, I always enjoyed her sweet treats.
“Maggie, open the drawer and take out the wooden box,” Rebecca said, “Open it!”
I could feel something unexpected was going to happen. But I did as I was told.
Inside the beautifully craved wooden box was a picture of Rebecca from her young days. She was pregnant. “But she never had children,” I thought to myself. But then, I noticed a tiny hospital bracelet with my name and my birth date written on it.
I froze. “What’s this?” I asked, confused.
Rebecca lifted her head and said, “Please read the letter and you’ll understand.”
The letter in the wooden box was worn at the creases, as if it had been opened and refolded countless times over the years.
In it, Rebecca wrote of her love for me. She wrote that she became pregnant at very early age and couldn’t take care of a baby herself. And then she met my parents, a wonderful couple who couldn’t have children on their own.
There, I stood by the two people who raised me, saying the final goodbye to the woman who gave me life.
Following the funeral, my mom and dad shared stories of how Rebecca would often stop by after I went to bed just to stay by my side and see me sleeping. They told me she loved me unconditionally, and even helped them financially, but they never said anything because she made them promise to keep it a secret.
I wasn’t mad at my birth mom. On the contrary, I was thankful for everything she had done for me, sacrificing her life to watch me grow and be there for every milestone I’ve ever reached, being happy for every success of mine while watching from the distance.
The wooden box she gave me contained more letters that I re-read whenever I think of that incredible woman.

One of the missions of the “Make America Healthy Again” platform set by the newly appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is addressing childhood chronic diseases.
President Donald Trump signed a new executive order relating to this issue that according to the White House affected 30 million children in 2022 only.
“Autism spectrum disorder now affects 1 in 36 children in the United States — a staggering increase from rates of 1 to 4 out of 10,000 children identified with the condition during the 1980s. Eighteen percent of late adolescents and young adults have fatty liver disease, close to 30 percent of adolescents are prediabetic, and more than 40 percent of adolescents are overweight or obese,” the White House writes.
They relate some of these issues with the increased prescription of medications.
As reported by MedPage Today, RFK Jr. will address the causes of childhood chronic diseases based on “unbiased science.”
He said, “We will convene representatives of all viewpoints to study the causes for the drastic rise in chronic disease.
“Some of the possible factors we will investigate were formally taboo or insufficiently scrutinized — the childhood vaccine schedule; electromagnetic radiation; glyphosate; other pesticides; ultra-processed foods… SSRIs [selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors] and other psychiatric drugs; PFAS [per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances]; PFOA [perfluorooctanoic acid]; microplastics — nothing is going to be off-limits.”
In his speech to his employeesRFK Jr. said, “Let’s use protocols that we all agree on in advance and not alter the outcomes of studies when they’re halfway through [because] they look inconvenient. Let’s all depoliticize these issues and reestablish a common ground for action, and renew the search for existential truths with no political impediments and no preconceptions.”
HHS Secretary RFK Jr. pledges “NOTHING is gonna be off limits” in chronic disease investigation
“The childhood vaccine schedule, electromagnetic radiation, glyphosate, other pesticides, ultra processed foods, artificial food additives, SSRI and other psychiatric drugs, PFAs,… pic.twitter.com/kWV2LHuqTG
The executive order Trump signed says the aim is to “re-direct our national focus, in the public and private sectors, toward understanding and drastically lowering chronic disease rates and ending childhood chronic disease.”
The MAHA Commission, which constitutes of representatives from multiple federal agencies and offices focused on health — including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has a goal to revise the policies on “nutrition, physical activity, healthy lifestyles, over-reliance on medication and treatments, the effects of new technological habits, environmental impacts, and food and drug quality and safety.”
Further, the Commission is charged with protecting “expert [scientific] recommendations from inappropriate influence” and “increasing transparency regarding existing data.”
The order calls for the assessment to address the “threats posed” by “over-utilization of medication, certain food ingredients, certain chemicals, and certain other exposures,” as well as examining the prescribing practices for SSRIs, antipsychotics and stimulants.
REUTERS/Nathan Howard
As reported by The Seattle Times, “several Washington physicians agree with the premise of monitoring prescribing practices” but they also believe that the order signed by Trump may stand on the way of the doctor-patient relationship.
Dr. Lelach Rave, interim executive director of the Washington Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics addressed this issue.
“Any parent who has a child who is struggling with depression or anxiety or psychosis, it’s a scary place to be. And there’s a lot of harm that goes with having untreated illness,” he said, as per The Seattle Times. “Not that you discount the risks of medications because they’re real as well, but there is real risk with disease.”
A 100 days after the order was signed, the new commission is expected to submit an initial report including an assessment of “the prevalence of and threat posed by the prescription of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, stimulants, and weight-loss drugs.”
Critics fear that a one-size-fits-all federal policy may lead to delays or denial of treatment for children who truly require it.

Managing blood sugar is crucial for people diagnosed with diabetes. However, it’s important to note that both high blood sugar (hyperglycemia) and low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) pose significant risks.
Having type 2 diabetes itself doesn’t directly increase the risk of hypoglycemia, but people who take insulin or other insulin production medications may be more prone to low blood sugar.
What triggers hyperglycemia at these individuals are factors such as skipping meals, consuming fewer carbs that needed, or engaging in increased physical activity.
As per NHS, hypoglycemia happens when the blood sugar (glucose) is below 4mmol/L.
This condition is accompanied by certain symptoms. Below, we’ll discuss some of them.
Starting to Sweat
Sudden sweating that is not related to the weather conditions may be a sign of low blood sugar levels. At people with diabetes, these sweats can appear during the night.
The University of Michiganstates that symptoms of hypoglycemia can mirror certain mental issues such as irritability, anxiety, and worry. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as the brain runs primarily on glucose.
The feeling of hunger appears when our blood sugar levels drop and the cells lack energy. While sugary drinks and starchy carbs can boost our sugar levels, this effect is short-lived. Instead, we should consume whole grains, healthy fats, high-protein foods, and non-starchy vegetables to stabilize our blood sugar levels.
One of the signs of nocturnal hypoglycemia, as reported by people diagnosed with diabetes, is having nightmares. It is of crucial importance to consult a doctor about the right prebedtime routine to avoid your sugar levels drop during the night.
Lack of Focus
Struggling to focus or concentrate may be due lack of energy that comes from glucose. This can be triggered by skipping meals in both children and adults.
Low blood sugar levels can affect the nervous system, causing dizziness, weakness, and lightheadedness. Also, people suffering from diabetes may also experience headaches if their blood sugar levels drop.
Sometimes, in case of hypoglycemia, people can feel shaky because the body releases adrenalin to remind you to refuel it. Feeling shaky after a meal may indicate experiencing idiopathic postprandial syndrome (IPS), a condition that sometimes mimics the symptoms of hypoglycemia.
Shutterstock
Affected Vision
When blood sugar levels drop, people, especially those with diabetes, may experience blurred vision, double vision, or “black” spots.
Shutterstock
Slurry Speach
If glucose levels drop below 40 mg/dL, a person can experience slurred speech, muscle twitching, difficulty walking steadily, and emotional changes.
Experiencing troubles falling asleep can be a sign of insomnia, but also of hypoglycemia.
Shutterstock
Seizures and Coma
While moderate symptoms of hypoglycemia can be fixed with regular healthy eating, some of the more serious consequences are seizures, fainting, or even brain damage. As with extremely high blood sugar levels, people with diabetes can experience diabetic coma from hypoglycemia.
Shutterstock
Heart Palpitations
Rapid heartbeat, heart palpitations, and fluttering can be a sign of hypoglycemia.

News reports show that scientists at the infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology discovered new coronavirus. This raises the question about history repeating itself.
Rumors had it that COVID-19 leaked from a lab in China, and US lawmakers claimed they had seen new ‘credible’ information that confirm these rumors, Daily Mail reported in May, 2024.
Allegedly, the Chinese military conducted experiments at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, from where the virus leaked.
Now, virologist Shi Zhengli led a new research on the coronavirus, published in the medical journal Cell.It discusses the presence of new coronavirus strain found within bats. As per the Mirror, the research states that the virus is reportedly related to MERS, a deadly coronavirus that kills one third of those affected with it.
The new coronavirus, HKU5-CoV-2, penetrates human cells like SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for Covid.
Findings warn of a “high risk of spillover to humans, either through direct transmission or facilitated by intermediate hosts.”
Further, the study states: “Structural and functional analyses indicate that HKU5-CoV-2 has a better adaptation to human ACE2 than lineage 1 HKU5-CoV.”
AP
Researchers discovered that “Authentic HKU5-CoV-2 infected human ACE2-expressing cell lines and human respiratory and enteric organoids. This study reveals a distinct lineage of HKU5-CoVs in bats that efficiently use human ACE2 and underscores their potential zoonotic risk.”
As of now, the potential for HKU5-CoV-2 to spill over to humans “remains to be investigated.”
Dr Michael Osterholm, an infectious disease expert at the University of Minnesota, referred to the reaction triggered by this study as “overblown.”
According to him, compared to 2019, when the COVID-19 struck the entire world, there is a lot of immunity in the population to viruses similar to COVID-19 and SARS.

The process of transitioning from one gender to another is personal, but it can also be challenging, requiring strength, determination, and the ability to challenge stereotypes.
Although societies are becoming more accepting of people who transition, these issues remain taboo in many countries. This makes life difficult for transgender individuals.
Jamie Wilson is a transgender musician whose life serves as inspiration for many people who consider going through what he had gone – transition from female to male.
Wilson, who is a well-known name within the transgender community, not only shares his life story but also photos of himself showing the process of his transition.
“When I came out, people refused to believe I was a man because I had looked feminine for 18 years,” he said.
He started his transition by cutting his hair short and wearing men clothes. Later, he had started testosterone therapy, which takes around one to two years for the results to show. A complete change, however, may require up to five years.
“When I first came out people tried telling me ‘this is not who you are’ that’s when I realized you are NOT who people think you are…you are who you KNOW you are,” he said.
According to UCSF, many of the effects of hormone therapy are reversable if the therapy is stopped. This, however, isn’t the case with the surgeries, which are permanent.
This is why it is of crucial importance to talk to medical professionals about all the risks and get informed about every aspect of the transition process before undergoing one.
Addressing his followers on the social media, Wilson says that “Not everyone has to show ‘signs’ to be transgender. You don’t have to pass a test to prove you’re trans…”
He adds: “And you sure as hell don’t need ANYONE’S approval but your own.”
James Wilson’s transition and his self-confidence are truly remarkable.

With Trump becoming the president of the country for the second time, things have heated up. Among the rest, he has signed a plethora of executive orders that correspond to his MAGA agenda. However, his signings of these orders triggered legal challenges.
Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leader Elon Musk is pushing for the GOP-controlled Congress to create a “wave of impeachments” for federal judges after a D.C. court ordered the Trump administration to restore health data that had been taken offline.
Musk took to his platform, X, to respond to claim of a conflict of interest for U.S. District Judge John Bates, who issued a temporary order requiring the government to restore online data removed from the websites of U.S. health agencies.
“There needs to be an immediate wave of judicial impeachments, not just one,” the Tesla owner wrote.
Bates’ decision came following an executive order from President Trump that banned the government from endorsing “gender ideology.”
He ruled in favor of Doctors for America (DFA) who claimed the removal violated the law.
There needs to be an immediate wave of judicial impeachments, not just one https://t.co/3guKf3BBOk
The president argued that the judges intrude his authority by blocking pieces of his agenda. This triggered concerns of whether Trump and his administration would abide the court rulings, as per Reuters.
Trump, however, later told reporters that he would abide the rulings but will appeal those that stand on the way of his agenda and Musk’s plans on cutting on wasteful spendings.
“We want to weed out the corruption. And it seems hard to believe that a judge could say, we don’t want you to do that,” said Trump. “So maybe we have to look at the judges.”
Further, Taking to Truth Social, Trump wrote: “DOGE has found massive amounts of FRAUD, WASTE, INCOMPETENCE, AND ABUSE, but even knowing this, a highly political, activist Judge wants us to immediately make payment, anyway. In other words pay, even though you know the payment was fraudulently requested to be made. DOGE caught them – The Judge just doesn’t care. It doesn’t make sense!!!”
NewsMax TV
The case argued whether DOGE and its employees have the right to access sensitive information about millions of Americans. Judge Bates argued that in order for DOGE to have such authority, it needed to be recognized as an official federal agency under the law.
Ultimately, the judge ruled that DOGE does hold that status and it likely qualifies as a federal agency.
Further, DOGE will maintain access to sensitive records from at least three federal agencies, the Department of Labor, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.
Musk posted on X about this “victory.”

Two small single-engine planes were involved in a crash midair Wednesday morning at an Arizona airport, officials said.
Federal Aviation Administration reported that a Lancair 360 MK II and a Cessna 172S collided at Marana Regional Airport, an uncontrolled field with no operating air traffic control tower, just before 8:30 a.m. local time.
The airport also serves as a flight training ground.
The number of non-towered airports in the States is around 20,000. Pilots operating in such airports announce their position to other pilots using a Common Traffic Advisory Frequency.
Justine Brent
As police hurried to the scene, one of the aircrafts seemed intact.
According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the single-engine planes got involved in the crash while “upwind of runway 12,” one of the small Arizona regional airport’s two runways.
The Cessna did not successfully land and the Lancair “impacted terrain near runway 3 and a post-impact fire ensued.”

Each plane was carrying two passengers.
The crash claimed the lives of two people who were in the same plane.
In statement, Marana Regional Airport Superintendent Galen Beem said, “On behalf of the Town of Marana and the Marana Regional Airport, our hearts go out to all the individuals and families impacted by this event. This is an unprecedented event, and we are grateful for the swift response from the Marana Police Department and Northwest Fire District.”
Unfortunately, this crash is another in the series of plane crashes that happened in the past several weeks, including the horrific crash over Reagan International Airport last month that claimed the lives of 67 people when an American Airlines plane collided mid-air with a Black Hawk US Army helicopter.
Another crash, involving a medical jet, claimed the lives of the passengers on board, including that of a young girl returning to Mexico from Philadelphia where she had undergone a life-saving surgery.
Days prior to the Arizona airport accident, a plane flipped upside down while landing in Toronto. Miraculously, there were no victims in the flipped plane.

Sian Ashcroft, a 35-year-old mom of three, received cancer diagnosis of terminal cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) in 2024. Doctors only gave her months to live, but sadly, she passed away just 18 days later, leaving her entire family in shock.
Cholangiocarcinoma represents an aggressive malignancy that originates from the biliary epithelium, both inside and outside the liver.
This cancer has a “dismal” five-year survival rate of between 2-9% compared to the England average for all cancers which is 54%, as per CCA charity AMMF.
In the case of Ashcroft, the first red flag something wasn’t right was her unusual iron deficiency. In order to address the issue, she got some iron medications. However, a couple of months later, in August 2023, she started experiencing abdominal pain.
Sian Ashcroft/AMFF
At first, she suspected food poisoning, but as the pain intensified, she visited a doctor who suspected gallstones.
Ashcroft was admitted for a gallbladder surgery, but during a follow-up appointment, she was told she had a lesion on her liver.
Her cancer diagnosis didn’t come right away, but around two months later, according to her mom, Sue Dowling.
Speaking to BBC, Dowling said, “Sian’s prognosis was an incredible shock for everyone. She had become increasingly poorly, with frequent visits to her GP and time spent in hospital, but her diagnosis came too late to save her.”
As per CCA charity AMMF, this form of cancer is “difficult to diagnose accurately and early” which reduces the chances for surgery, the only potential cure that exists at the moment.
Sian Ashcroft/ AMFF
AMMF chief executive Helen Morement said that in many instances, patients do not match the typical “characteristics”profile” of someone with liver cancer.
“Unlike the other more well-known type of liver cancer, there isn’t an established link to liver cirrhosis, viral hepatitis, alcohol or other lifestyle factors,” she said.
According to the NHS, symptoms include “feeling tired, having a high temperature, skin turning yellow (jaundice), loss of appetite, feeling sick and abdominal pain.”

Visiting the doctor can be unpleasant at times. Of course, it depends on the problem we have, but in general, hospitals aren’t the place we would ever wish to find ourselves at, unless it’s for a joyous occasion such as giving birth.
People ‘reveal ‘awkward’ encounters with their doctors on Reddit and as much as some of them are unpleasant, there are also those that are just hilarious.
1. Unusual Condition of a Patient’s Blue Hands Turns Out to be Blue Jeans

u/raybanomics: Not me, but my roommate went to the doctor because his hands were turning blue. He was born premature and has always had horrible circulation. So he goes to the doctor, who is so puzzled about what’s happening that she calls to consult other doctors.
She returns to the room with alcohol swabs, and the blue starts coming off. Apparently, he had not washed his new jeans, and the ink kept rubbing off on his hands every time he put them in his pocket.
2. Going Commando Leads to an Awkward Encounter

u/olialm1: I had my physical examination and forgot to wear underwear. I pretty much go commando all the time unless I’m wearing a short dress, so when my doctor told me to “put the gown on but keep your bra and underwear on,” I facepalmed.
When he went to lift my gown so he could feel around on my stomach, I turned bright red and said, “I’m not wearing underwear,” to which he responded by giving me this weird look.
3. A Cough Turns Into a Burp

u/kev0h: Way back when I was in peewee football, I had to go for a sports physical. I was pretty young then. When the doctor told me to turn my head and cough, I panicked because I hadn’t coughed in a while, so instead, I burped.
4. The Doctors Clashed over Shorter Limb

u/epona92: My left leg is slightly shorter than my right leg (approx. 1.5 cm, so nothing too drastic), and when I was younger, I had to see a specialist because I also had scoliosis.
The doctor was older and German and had three international interns: one from South Africa, one from Mexico, and one from China.
After taking x-rays, the German doctor returned and informed me that my right leg was shorter than my left, pointing to the hip displacement in the x-ray. I corrected him, but he insisted that my right leg was shorter.
The South African came to my defense and pointed out that he was looking at the X-ray backward. The German doctor didn’t believe any of it, and their argument got so heated that the Mexican and Chinese doctors excused themselves.
5. Motorcycle Mishap Becomes a Timeless Family Tale

u/TheOnlyOne87: I was about five years old at the time. We had a big field beside our house where my two older brothers and I rode our mini motorcycle around. Anyway, I crashed the bike and cut my leg open pretty badly.
So, I was taken to the local doctor for stitches. He pulled down my little trousers, and I wasn’t wearing any underwear. Twenty years later, I still have the scar on my leg. And my lack of underwear is still a regular family anecdote.
6. John Cusack, you say?

u/BosskHogg: A few years back, I ended up getting the flu. My wife took me to a 24-hour emergency clinic near our house. The doctor on duty was in her mid-30s and kind of cute.
My wife was in the waiting room, and I was with the doctor in a patient room when the doctor turned to me and said, “You look just like John Cusack” (which I do).
I told her I get that all the time, but she kept repeating it, and she began sounding creepy. So I’m lying on the bed, trying my hardest not to pass out, and the doctor begins playing with my hair, talking about John Cusack before my wife walks in.
7. Baby Talk Blunder: The OB’s Humorous Comment

u/LuckieMotor: When I was newly pregnant with my daughter, I was at my OB’s office for a pelvic exam. After I stirrup up, my doctor checks my vagina and says, “Oh, you’ll be fine if you have a big baby; there’s PLENTY of room in here.”
I’m sure she meant that I have a wide pelvic arch and would have no trouble with a vaginal delivery, but what I heard was something entirely different.
8. A Comment turns To be a Compliment
A doctor smiling. | Source: Pexels
u/pickanotherusername: I was ten when I was taken to the emergency room with a ruptured appendix. They had trouble diagnosing my problem and sent me in for an enema. The doctor was doing his thing. So I said, “You must be the least popular doctor in the hospital.” He responded,” I don’t get many thank-you cards.”
9. An Awkward Encounter with an Attractive Doctor
A female doctor smiling. | Source: Pexels
u/FruitF***ing: Well, it’s not that awkward, but it was April Fool’s Day, and right before I went to class, I decided to go dominate the toilet. To my surprise, the toilet paper was all red.
By this time, I’m freaking out going to the doctor, thinking I bled out of my butt. I go to an urgent care and pay my $100 fee. A very attractive doctor has me bend over to look at my buttocks. That was the awkward part for me.
She says I’m probably okay if I didn’t feel any pain. An hour later, I’m sitting at home wondering if I’m going to die. I realized the night before I got very drunk, smoked, and ate a whole bag of flaming hot Cheetos to myself. Turns out that eating a bunch of those turns your poop red.
10. Taste Buds!?
A lady smiling. | Source: Pexels
u/va_bene: I had a sore throat, and when I tried to get a good look at it in the mirror, I noticed these large, pink spots all over the very back of my tongue.
I spent a week fretting over it, wondering what they were and why they weren’t going away until my mom worried enough that she went with me to my doctor.
Upon examining my throat and tongue, he pronounced what I saw were my taste buds. I have never seen my doctor, an incredibly stoic man, smile so wide. My family is never going to let me live it down.
11. A Fart Mishap Leaves the Doctor Wondering
A pregnant woman having a consultation with a doctor. | Source: Pexels
u/FearlessEyes: I went to the doctor when I was about eight months pregnant. At that point in my pregnancy, I was VERY gassy, and if I tried to hold it in, it would get painful after a while.
While I was sitting in the doctor’s office, I felt like I had to fart. I held it in for a while, thinking that if I did fart, the doctor would be in at any moment. Fifteen minutes passed, and nothing.
So I decided to let it go. The tiniest little fart ever, but it stunk really bad. Thirty seconds later, the doctor walked in and asked me what that smell was.
12. This Took a Different Turn
A doctor talking to a male patient. | Source: Shutterstock
u/PalmerKid: When I turned 30, I suddenly became a hypochondriac. I thought that EVERYTHING was cancer or worse. So, I’m seeing my doctor for an annual physical, and I mentioned that I was having some pains in the left side of my chest.
I asked, “I know this is rare, but could it be breast cancer?” (I’m male, btw). The doctor checked around seriously and then, with a straight face, asked me, “Does the pain hurt worse when you have your period?” That was pretty much the end of my year of hypochondria.
13. The Awkward Hug Fail

u/AnalogDigit2: I hadn’t seen my doctor in over a year, and he met me outside the examination room before I went in. He spread his arms, and I was a little surprised.
I started to move in for a hug before he stepped back a little and made a clearer indication that he was just politely gesturing me to enter the room before him. Sheepfaced, I put my head down and marched into the room.
14. An Emotional Hospital Visit
A woman crying. | Source: Pexels
u/lieshy: I had a full-fledged panic attack when they sent me to the “renal” unit at the hospital. I cried for an hour because I didn’t want a bum exam. The best part of the story? I was seventeen years old. I should probably have paid more attention in class, I guess.
15. My Sports Injuries Turned to a Normal Conversation

u/KakunaUsedHarden: So, not a particular incident, but I get a lot of sports injuries that hurt so bad until I see a doctor. But the appointment ends with a normal conversation anytime I visit the doctor.
I say, “It hurts so much!.” The doctor responds, “Does it hurt when I do this?” I reply, “No.” Despite additional pressure and questioning, I consistently say it does not hurt. The doctor concludes, “I think you’ll be fine.”
16. I Accidentally Kissed the Doctor’s Hand

u/reedyforkmike: I took my son (one year old) to the doctor to get checked out for an ear infection. He got upset as the doctor examined him. I’m holding him on my lap the entire time, whispering in his ear and trying to keep him calm.
As the doctor goes to look in his ear, I comfort my son by kissing his head. Unfortunately, the doctor had just placed his hand there to hold him in place.
I gently press my lips right on the guy’s hand! I pulled away, didn’t say a word, and we both pretended like it never happened.
17. From Giggles to Gas
A woman laughing on the couch. | Source: Pexels
u/[deleted]: I had pimples on my face when I was about fourteen and looked like a human pizza. My mom took me to the doctor, and everything started normally.
The doctor was an oldish lady in her 50s; she seemed nice. Then something made me lose it when she started making hand gestures to her crotch, saying. “Do you get any pains around here?”
You can probably guess what would happen; with the sense of humor of a fourteen-year-old, I started laughing so hard I tried to stop myself by coughing. But the coughs caused me to fart.
18. The Holiday Hymns Added a Merry Twist to Gynecologist Visit

u/gummbee: I’m a student, so I always make my appointments for winter break. For the season, they play Christmas songs throughout the office.
Near the end of my appointment, it was time for my pap smear test. I climb on the table and open wide when a choir begins singing, “Oh, Come all the faithful.”
19. The Quirky Dentist’s Chair That Gave Me Giggles

u/doh_ramey: I’ve never done anything incredibly embarrassing, but there is one thing that gives me anxiety about going to the dentist. I don’t mind them fiddling around with my mouth, and I can stand the twinges, scrapes, and more.
The problem is that when the dentist/hygienist pumps the chair lever, it rises in little jumps. I can’t help it, so I start to giggle. I know it was cute when I was six, but now I’m twenty-six, making me look very strange.
20. Wisdom Teeth Aftermath

u/WhiskeyandWine: I was under anesthesia after having my wisdom teeth removed. While waiting for my ride in the not-so-empty lobby, I vaguely remember seeing someone else with a bunch of gauze hanging out of their mouth; seeing this, I started to laugh at them.
Sure enough, my friend arrived to see me laughing at myself in the mirror. My friend asked the receptionist if I was alright, to which she responded, “Oh yeah, he has been like that for more than five minutes now.”
21. The Day a ‘Zit’ Took Center Stage

u/bad_pie: I had a small lump on the side of my chin. I thought maybe it was a pimple. It was there for a few months, so I got nervous and went to the doctor.
He looks at it for a few seconds and then squeezes it hard. It Hurt pretty bad. Turns out it was a zit. When it popped, he said, “Woah! It hit the wall!” Then, pointing at the wall, he says, “We’ll sanitize that later.”
22. Strange smell

Deleted user: My husband started to smell really bad… I mean, REEK. I made an appointment for him with the urologist and decided to go with him for support. He went into the doctor’s office and the doctor closed the door.
Five minutes later, the doctor comes out and his face turns red when he sees me.Doc (barely holding back laughter): You might want to go in and see for yourself.
Me: ‘Doctor, what’s going on? Why are you laughing?’ Then my husband comes out. He: Honey… I’m not sure how to say this… But I’ve been cheating on you.”
His words hit me like a freight train, and I felt my heart shatter into pieces. I looked at him, searching for any sign of the man I thought I knew, but all I saw was a stranger. The doctor, realizing the gravity of the situation, quickly excused himself, leaving us in an awkward, painful silence.
I stood there, devastated, as the truth of his infidelity and the reason behind his sudden change in odor sank in.
That smell was caused by a venereal disease, which the doctor diagnosed in him, and he knew that I didn’t have it, so the betrayal was obvious. That day opened my eyes to everything.

Barron Trump, the youngest son of business mogul turned president, Donald Trump, has started a new chapter in his life. Currently, he’s attending Stern Business School at the New York University.
Donald Trump and his other children, Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka Trump, and Tiffany Trump, have all graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, but Barron didn’t make the same choice. He is, however, still following in his dad’s footsteps by studying business.
“It’s a very high-quality place. He liked it. He liked the school,” Trump said of his son’s choice of university. “We liked NYU. I’ve known NYU for a long time, but it’s one of the highest-rated schools.
“I went to Wharton, and that was certainly one that we were considering. We didn’t do that,” Trump continued. “We went for Stern. He’s a very high-aptitude child, but he’s no longer a child. He’s just passed into something beyond childhood, he’s doing great.”

When it comes to the private life of Barron Trump, little is know to the public.
People magazine once reported that he is well-liked among the girls.
“He’s at Stern, so he’s studying business in some way,” a source shared with the magazine. “He’s a ladies man for sure, he’s really popular with the ladies.
The source continued: “He’s tall and handsome. A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him.”

In an article published by Vanity Fairin mid-February, the president of NYU’s College Republican club, Kaya Walker, provided some answers about Barron Trump, and that brought her in trouble, forcing her to step down from the position, something she later regretted.
Speaking of Barron, Walker told the publication, that he’s “sort of like an oddity on campus. He goes to class, he goes home.”
Once other sites re-posted the article, it has gone viral, with millions of people reading it. Walker then resigned and wrote an open letter about her resignation, saying it was the College Republicans of America who advised her to do it.
“I must consider the health of our organization,” Walker wrote. “I do apologize to everyone that I love and respect that was caught in the crosshairs of this willful and malicious misreading of my comment.”
NYU College Republicans President Kaya Walker calls Barron Trump an “oddity on campus.”
She explained that the media and the public had taken her comment out of context.
“I’ve been killing myself trying to support the conservative movement,” Walker said. “Everybody knows that it’s an uphill battle being a Republican at NYU. I’ve put my everything into building up my chapter. I built [attendance] up exponentially. It’s been insane, especially this past year, we’ve seen such a rise in membership and had such a great time.”
She continued: “[AF Post] took it to say that I was saying that Barron was strange for being a commuter — which I thought was crazy because I’m a commuter. They [made it] look like I was calling the president’s son weird, but I feel like anybody who can read would know that’s not what I was doing.”
Further, Walker concluded: “I just feel bad that he’s having this hard college experience, and I understand that he wants to be left alone.
“I don’t even know Baron Trump. I campaigned for his father. Why would I have any ill intent towards him?” She noted that Barron is “watched like a zoo animal.”
In response to recent events with our NYU chapter, College Republicans of America formally invites Barron Trump to join us in reshaping the Republican Party. https://t.co/ydxk0gVC9xpic.twitter.com/P56fNsFqyU
The College Republicans of America were quick to address Walker’s comment, writing that it “does not align with the values and principles upheld by our organization” and that it was “inappropriate.”
Further, they invited Barron to join its NY branch.
“Barron Trump represents the future of the conservative movement, and we would be honored to have him join College Republicans of America,” College Republicans of America President Will Donahue said.
“Strong leadership is built on resilience, courage, and the humility to rise above petty hostility — qualities that Barron has already demonstrated. We invite Barron to join us in shaping the future of our party,” he added.
Barron Trump hasn’t commented on the matter.

Experts warn that in a decade time, US hospitals might be operating at near capacity, with hospital occupancy becoming a raising issue in the country.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the average hospital occupancy nationwide was 64 percent. That number has increased to 75 and researchers expect it to rise by another 10 percent in less than ten years’ time.
This can easily lead to deadly consequences due to issues such as long waiting time in emergency departments.
Dr. Richard Leuchter, assistant professor of medicine at UCLA Health, said in a statement, “We’ve all heard about increased hospital occupancy during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, but these findings show that hospitals are as full, if not more so, than they were during the pandemic, even well into 2024 during what would be considered a post-pandemic steady state.”
A study published in the journal JAMA Network Open modeled future hospital occupancy scenarios through 2035 using data from the period between August 2020 and April 2024 with national hospitalization rates and the U.S. Census Bureau’s official population projections.
Dr. Leuchter argued that in case this projection becomes a reality and the national hospital occupancy reaches 85 percent or greater, as some research suggest, “it is likely that we would see tens to hundreds of thousands of excess American deaths each year.”
Authorities may consider undertaking preventive measures to avoid a potential hospital bed crisis in the country. Some can possibly include prevention of hospital bankruptcies and closures “partly by revamping hospital reimbursement schemes and regulating private equity involvement in healthcare; addressing factors driving staffing shortages such as provider burnout, and changing policy to expand the pipelines of healthcare professionals.”
“In the slightly longer term, we need more innovative care delivery models that can reduce hospitalizations by diverting would-be admissions to specially-designed acute care clinics,” Dr. Leuchter said.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has been appointed the new Health and Human Services secretary after being confirmed by the Senate. This new position will certainly bring a number of changes.
In his speeches, JFK Jr. has highlighted that nutrition is the key element of health. With that said, his priorities are the reduction of “the dominance of ultra-processed foods” and the removal of “food additives and chemicals.”
Many of the food additives, largely used in many foods, could soon be examined and even banned, many believe. The new Health and Human Services secretary is especially vocal about artificial colors such as Red Dye 40 and Yellow No. 5 and their usage in the US food supply.
REUTERS/Nathan Howard
He, however, didn’t mention banning any particular foods.
Asked by Fox News host Laura Ingraham which food additives he’d effectively remove from the US, JFK Jr. argued that he won’t outright ban any because of the “freedom of choice.”
“If you want to eat Twinkies, you ought to be able to eat them,” he said.
He, however, promised to introduce “radical transparency” in informing the public about food ingredients and their health impacts.
RFK Jr. highlighted the need of healthier options at schools. He criticized the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for promoting processed foods and sugary drinks.
“We shouldn’t be subsidizing people to eat poison,” he said.
Speaking to host Steve Gruber in September, 2024, RFK Jr. tied the artificial colors in fast food to lower life expectancy.
As of the fast food chains like McDonald’s, he suggested they should return to its initial practice of cooking the fries in beef fat tallow rather than seed oils. He considers seed oils “one of the most unhealthy ingredients in foods and the reason they’re in the foods is because they are heavily subsidized,” and cause inflammations.

It was Halloween and the diner where I’ve been working for some time now was expected to be full that evening. However, my babysitter quit in the last minute and I was forced to bring my four-year-old son, Micah, to work. He had put his firefighter costume on, and was ready for a real Halloween treat.
The night was busy, so I gave Micah some crayons and a grilled cheese at a back booth and told him to stay there while I was handling the dinner rush.
However, between refilling coffee and taking orders, I glanced at the booth and noticed my kid wasn’t there.
My heart started pounding as I went from corner to corner looking for him. He wasn’t in the bathroom, so I went into the kitchen to see if he had wondered there. And yes, there he was, speaking to a firefighter.
The man in the uniform seemed to be interested in my son’s words. He was listening to him very carefully, and at one moment, he started crying.
Unaware of what was going on, I approached closer.
I realized Micah was sharing his dad’s story with the broad-shouldered man.
My husband was also a firefighter who had lost his life in a fire the year prior. Micah didn’t know the details, he just knew his dad was a hero who died saving lives.
The firefighter was touched by Micah’s words. Wiping his tears, he crouched down to Micah’s level and asked him, “Who was your daddy, buddy?”
When Micah revealed his dad’s name, the firefighter started crying even harder and embraced him in a hug. “Your dad was my friend. He truly was a hero,” the firefighter said.
It turned out the firefighter and my husband attended training together and then ended up working at the same fire station.
He reached to his pocket and took out a small, silver badge, worn, but still shining. “This belonged to your dad,” he said as he handed it to Micah. “He once gave it to me for good luck, but now I want you to have it.”
Micha was too young to understand what the firefighter was trying to tell him, but at that moment, I realized that the grief over my husband’s passing didn’t only belong to us. It was shared.
I knew some of my husband’s colleagues, and now I was glad to meet this gentle man, whose name was Tyler.
That night taught me that love doesn’t fade with loss but continues to live on through the memories, the unexpected bonds, and even silver badges passed down.
My husband was gone, but Micah and I weren’t alone. We had all those wonderful people around us who continued my husband’s legacy by being there for us when we needed them most.

According to statistics, one in five children has experienced b**lyin* at some point in their life. The victims of b**lyin* are affected to the extent that it leaves a mark on their lives years after the attacks take place. It undermines their self-confidence, and they may start seeing themselves as less worthy than their peers. Sadly, in some cases, like that of Cassidy Trevan, it can even lead to death.
Cassidy Trevan was a victim of b**lyin* by her school friends.
Sadly, this made her life a living hell. She even took a whole term off school to deal with the trauma.
Being just 13 years old, Cassidy couldn’t find a way to fight her peers.
“The b**lyin* started out with just insults and stuff and she got slapped across the face once or twice,” her mom told 9News Australia.
Eventually, she returned to school, and the girls who once mistreated her tried to be her friends. After offering their apologies, it seemed like they regretted how they treated Cassidy, but sadly, their attempt to make friends with her wasn’t genuine.
The following day, they invited her to join them at the Springvale festival where they had arranged two older boys to s***ally assault her in a nearby house.
“They were older boys that Cass didn’t know. Two girls who sat and waited. Two boys who shared her and timed each other. One boy stood guarding the front door,” her mom revealed.
Cassidy Trevan reported the incident to the police, but they eventually dropped the case because of lack of evidence.
This intensified the b**lyin* to the extent that forced Cassidy to take her own life.
At the time of her tragic passing in December, 2015, she was just 15 years old.
After the suicide, her mother, Linda, found a handwritten note by her daughter.
This is what she wrote:
“I was a student at (school name omitted) and I was r***d by some of the students who still attend that school. I know this already probably sounds like attention-seeking but it’s honestly far from it.”
She further wrote: “I have many reasons for doing this which I’ll also explain.
“My aim is to warn other people (students mostly but also parents) about what happened because I’m worried if they could do it to me they could do it to other kids like me, or at least try to. You actually have the power to stop this from happening. Remember the people who did this to me were school students at (omitted), it’s hard to believe, I know. But it’s true.
“I’m not doing this for revenge to those students that r***d me, set up the r**e, b**lied me about the r**e, teased me about the r**e or anything like that. I’m also not doing this for attention seeking like I mentioned earlier, I want to make that clear.
It continued: “I’m doing this because over 1500 students years 7-12 are currently enrolled at the school and they need to be warned.
“I feel because of what happened to me, and because the staff at the school did nothing to help me (which I’ll talk a bit more about later). It’s now my duty to warn you all and to make you aware of what happened. (Not just what you may have heard around school but what actually happened.)”
“But I’m also doing this for myself. I want to finally after 1 and ½ years be left alone. It’s surprising just how many students at (omitted) have heard stories of me and weirdly enough still get told stories of me to this day. I still continue to get students I’ve never met contacting me Facebook calling me a s**t. I’ve moved schools, I’ve moved house and still I’m being contacted and b**lie*. I can’t stop people from spreading rumours, but at least I could try and spread what really happened seeing as it’s still being talked about anyway. But as I said this honestly is more so for students who are unaware of this and are in danger of those students.
“My name is Cassidy Trevan, and I was r***d.
“If anyone every tries this on you trust me it’s worth fighting! Fight! If you don’t you’ll regret it for the rest of your life like I do. You can do it.
“Be careful, be warned, be safe.”
The loss of even one young life to b**lyin* is one loss too many. We should all work together to put a stop to this behavior and do all in our power to protect the victims.
Cassidy Treva, rest in peace.

I was stunned when I watched a video shows vaping dangers up close, bringing to life exactly what happens when those chemicals hit your lungs. It’s not just that vaping can be addictive because of the nicotine—this simulation reveals how harsh it can be on your respiratory system, too. According to the NHS, we still don’t fully know the long-term damage, but stories of people losing parts of their lungs or landing in the hospital offer a pretty clear warning sign.
Source: Freepik
The Ugly Truth About Chemicals
In the clip, produced by The Infographics Show, viewers see how the chemicals in e-cigs build up in the alveoli (tiny air sacs in the lungs). This gunk can have a “paralytic effect,” harming the cilia that filter out toxins. Once that filtering mechanism gets wrecked, doctors say you’re basically opening the door to infections and illnesses. Considering how many kids are into vaping these days, it’s pretty alarming that video shows vaping dangers in such a graphic way.
Early Studies, Serious Warnings
We don’t have decades of research on vaping, but recent investigations have found lung inflammation and other respiratory issues in users. One 2023 study pointed out that nearly 4.6% of middle schoolers in the U.S. are already vaping—equating to millions of teens.
Source: Freepik
And though the NHS acknowledges vaping is “less harmful” than traditional cigarettes, they still insist it’s not risk-free. Watching how a single puff affects your airways, it’s hard to argue with that. If you haven’t seen it, this video shows vaping dangers in a way that’s impossible to ignore.
