The Shocking Radio Exchange That Reveals a Terrifying Moment

I’ll be honest: my stomach turned when I heard how horrifying audio captures air traffic controller’s reaction to American Airlines plane collision near Washington, D.C. I’ve read about plane crashes before, but actually listening to the tension and heartbreak in real time is something else entirely. This all went down on Wednesday (January 29) as a CRJ700, loaded with 64 people, collided mid-air with a military Black Hawk helicopter. No one survived—three soldiers and everyone on the passenger jet were lost in an instant.

Moments Before the Impact

The plane was lining up for a runway approach at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, and the helicopter pilot, call-sign PAT 2-5, got instructions to pass behind the incoming jet. He acknowledged, talking about “visual separation,” which basically means he’d keep his eyes on the CRJ700 to avoid trouble. But then everything changed in seconds. If you listen to the recordings, you can hear how horrifying audio captures air traffic controller’s reaction to American Airlines plane collision, with an audible gasp erupting in the tower. My heart dropped just imagining the view they had at that moment.

“Crash, Crash, Crash!”

Other pilots on the radio sounded stunned, too. One voice goes, “Did you see that?” while another frantically calls “Crash, crash, crash—this is an alert three.” Suddenly, the entire airport scrambled: flights got canceled, emergency crews rushed to the water. LiveATC.net has a snippet of the conversation, and I truly felt chills the first time I heard it. The difference between normal flight chatter and catastrophic screams couldn’t be more jarring. It’s a stark reminder of how quickly routine can turn into tragedy.

Aftermath in the Tower

With both aircraft falling into the icy Potomac River, there was no chance for rescue. Everyone on the frequency went from calm to horrified in a blink. One controller apparently told a pilot on the ground, “They’re shutting the airport for an indefinite amount of time.” Talk about devastating. In another snippet, someone describes seeing a fireball near the middle of the river. It’s hard to imagine what was going through their minds as they tried to piece together what happened.

Lingering Questions

Right now, investigators still aren’t sure what caused that final mishap. Maybe the helicopter pilot misjudged distances, or maybe there was a breakdown in communication. All we know is that horrifying audio captures air traffic controller’s reaction to American Airlines plane collision in a way that leaves you with goosebumps. I can’t get over how raw and immediate those voices are—people doing their jobs one second, then grappling with life and death the next.

Father of cancer-surviving daughter who died in the American Airlines crash shares the text that raised his suspicions something was wrong

The crash between the PSA Airlines aircraft owned by American Airlines and the Black Hawk US Army helicopter is one of the deadliest US air crashes in recent years.

Andy Beyer’s wife and 12-year-old daughter, who survived cancer at four months old, were among the victims.

The plane and the helicopter collided mid-air on Wednesday, January 29, shortly before 9 p.m. The tragedy stuck as the American Airlines Flight 5342 was approaching Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington D.C.

64 passengers, among which four members of the crew, who were onboard the plane, and three military members who were flying with the helicopter are all believed to be dead.

Emergency services and officials are doing all in their power to retrieve all of the bodies, but the harsh weather conditions and the icy waters of the Potomac River, where the aircraft plummeted add to the difficulty of the mission.

Speaking to ABC News, Beyer revealed that his daughter, Brielle, and her mother, Justyna, were onboard at the time of the crash.

His daughter was a member of the skating group who was returning from U.S. Figure Skating National Development Camp in Wichita, Kansas.

“She was just such a fighter in everything she did,” the devastated father said of his young daughter. “She just lived life to the fullest with everything.”

GoFundMe

Sharing her skiing accomplishments, Beyer added, “She was so proud of herself in figure skating for the progress she had made … Making that team was one of her life goals. And she achieved it. And she was just so, so proud of herself.”

It was when he and his 6-year-old son went to the airport to pick up Brielle and Justyna that he realized something was horribly wrong.

“When it was time for the plane to land, they hadn’t landed [and] we couldn’t get text messages through,” he explained.

He did see the emergency services, but it wasn’t until a friend of his, who was a controller, who confirmed the crash that he became aware of the severity of the situation.

ABC News

“I didn’t have a lot of hope unfortunately, we had a good cry about it right then and there and then we had to go in with the family waiting room and everything before we, hours later, got any official word of what had fully happened,” Beyer told ABC News.

Those close to the family have set up a GoFundMe page to help the grieving family.

“In a tragic turn of events, we are heartbroken to share the devastating loss of 12-year-old Brielle and her beloved mother, Justyna, who both tragically died in the recent Washington, DC, plane crash,” the GoFundMe states.

“Their absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of family and friends, and we are reaching out to our community for support during this incredibly difficult time.”

Operator of Philadelphia plane crash gave chilling statement after disaster as all onboard feared dead

A plane carrying a family home to Mexico from Philadelphia was involved in a fatal crash Friday night.

The family, including a mom and her daughter, were travelling to Mexico after a life-saving medical treatment in the States. Tragically, the aircraft crashed around 30 seconds after take off.

Along with the mother and daughter, onboard the plane were four crew members, all of which feared dead.

The Learjet 55 was expected to head towards Missouri before flying to what was supposed to be its final destination, Tijuana.

Unfortunately, Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which operated the plane that crashed, released a statement, writing, “We cannot confirm any survivors.

“When an incident like this happens, it’s shocking and surprising,” the spokesperson said further.

“All of the aircraft are maintained, not a penny is spared because we know our mission is so critical.”

Footage from cameras near the area showed a large fireball erupting, which engulfed several homes and vehicle and left several people injured. As per reports, some were taken to the hospital for further treatment.

Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania governor, warned that fatalities in the crash were to be expected, saying: “We know that there will be loss.” He described the tragic Philadelphia plane crash an “awful aviation disaster.”

President Trump released a statement, saying the Philadelphia plane crash was “so sad.”

“More innocent souls lost. Our people are totally engaged,” the statement added.

The response was massive, and people are warned to stay away from Northeastern Philadelphia neighborhood.

As per The Sun, the final words of the pilot flying the plane after the control tower directed it towards airspace, were: “one, two, three point eight, mike tango sierra, zero, five six, medivac, thank you. Have a good day.”

The air controller who tried to stay in touch realized something wasn’t right.

“We have a lost aircraft, we are not exactly sure what has happened so we’re still trying to figure it out for now,” he said, as per The Sun.

“The field is going to be closed, so no in-bounds or out-bounds probably.”

This accident came in the wake of one of the deadliest US air disasters that happened on Wednesday, January 29, when the American Airlines jet collided with a US military helicopter with 64 passengers on board.

A Surprising Turn of Events That Has Everyone Talking

I’ll never forget the moment I realized how Trump Reverses Biden’s DEI and Climate Policies nearly all at once. The news hit like a ton of bricks, whether you saw it scrolling through social media or caught it on the evening broadcasts. These aren’t small tweaks or minor administrative details—these are sweeping shifts that affect so many corners of American life, from how the military names its bases to how we power our homes.

Back to “Old-School” Military Traditions

One thing that still catches me off guard is the decision to revert names like Fort Bragg and Fort Benning. Critics say those old Confederate-linked labels stand for a time we should’ve left behind, while supporters claim they’re restoring military heritage and culture. Either way, it’s hard to ignore how Trump Reverses Biden’s DEI and Climate Policies as part of a broader push to scale back what some call “woke” initiatives—especially in the armed forces. If you ask me, I’m curious how rank-and-file service members are reacting. Are they relieved to see the old names return, or disappointed to lose the inclusivity angle?

Slashing DEI—A Win or a Setback?

Now, beyond military base names, the real spotlight is on dismantling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs. For some folks, DEI training was essential to forging a modern, cohesive military. For others, it felt like an unneeded distraction from warfighting. When I chat with friends in uniform, opinions are all over the map. Some credit DEI with helping them address deeper issues around bias and teamwork. Others think it bogged them down in endless briefings. That’s the tension I can’t get out of my head: on one hand, it’s about making everyone feel welcome; on the other, it’s about making sure the mission succeeds above all else.

A Bold Energy Shift

Of course, none of this is happening in a vacuum. In the same breath, Trump Reverses Biden’s DEI and Climate Policies around fossil fuels and renewable energy. Suddenly, we have an “energy emergency” that fast-tracks drilling projects and reopens areas that once were off-limits. Environmentalists are sounding alarms: they worry we’re tossing our climate commitments out the window. Meanwhile, supporters hail it as a return to American energy independence and job creation. It’s a storyline we’ve heard before—just amplified. Personally, I wonder if this approach will unify or divide the public more than ever.

The Human Factor

Let’s be real: policy is never just policy. It affects real people, from frontline soldiers to families living near newly approved drilling sites. Military morale might shift, especially for those who saw DEI as a step forward. Energy workers could benefit from expanded fossil fuel opportunities, but what about the long-term environmental costs? Every day, I see heated debates on social media, with folks asking if we can’t somehow do both—promote unity and maintain readiness, bolster energy production but still tackle climate issues. Makes me realize just how many gray areas exist in these debates.

Where Do We Go from Here?

The more I read about it, the more I see that Trump Reverses Biden’s DEI and Climate Policies in ways that test our nation’s balancing act between tradition and progress. Are we turning back the clock, or simply restoring a focus on defense and energy dominance? Maybe the answer depends on your vantage point. For now, I’m keeping an open mind and paying attention to how these changes play out, because let’s face it: the consequences—good or bad—aren’t going away anytime soon.

A Startling Discovery Shines Light on a Tragic Collision

I could hardly believe the headline: “Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders Found as New Details Emerge About Washington, DC Plane Crash.” It’s never easy reading about a midair collision, but this one near Reagan National Airport feels especially grim. Investigators say they retrieved the so-called black boxes late Thursday night, offering a glimmer of hope for understanding why 67 lives were lost in a single, devastating moment.

New Clues from the Black Boxes

According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), both the cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder are now on their way to a specialized lab. These devices could provide a second-by-second account of what went wrong before the plane, operated by PSA Airlines as American Airlines Flight 5342, hit a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter. As “Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders Found as New Details Emerge About Washington, DC Plane Crash” continues to dominate headlines, we’re learning that air traffic control operations were “not normal” that night—a single controller apparently had to juggle both helicopter and fixed-wing traffic.

A Troublesome Staffing Issue

It seems the controller was forced to split their attention between pilots flying low along the Potomac and commercial jets arriving on the runway. Such a setup can be risky because different frequencies are used for helicopters versus airplanes—meaning the pilots might not hear each other’s communications. Although the Federal Aviation Administration insists no protocols were technically violated, the day’s staffing levels were a third below what’s considered ideal. Some say it was a recipe for disaster.

Witnesses and Debris in the Icy Potomac

When the collision happened around 9 p.m., both aircraft fell into the frigid Potomac River. Authorities managed to pull dozens of bodies from the waters, yet all 67 people aboard are presumed dead. Family members are left searching for answers, clinging to the hope that the black box analysis might reveal a clearer picture. The FBI’s dive team joined local rescue crews, but the nighttime conditions and near-freezing water added to the challenges.

The Crash That Shook an Airport

Reports indicate that the helicopter was on a routine flight, and the Bombardier CRJ700 had just come in from Wichita, carrying U.S. figure skaters, their coaches, and several other passengers. In a busy airport environment like Reagan National, near-misses happen more often than the public realizes—yet most are resolved by quick corrections or timely instructions from air traffic control. “Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders Found as New Details Emerge About Washington, DC Plane Crash,” however, underscores a situation where the usual safety nets seem to have failed.

Looking Forward

With a preliminary NTSB report expected in about 30 days, officials emphasize that these black boxes are critical to piecing the timeline together. “Not normal” staff levels, possible radio-frequency confusion, and complex flight paths are all factors investigators will analyze. From my vantage point, it’s a painful reminder of how one small misstep can ripple through a system, especially when lives are on the line. It’s no wonder “Cockpit Voice and Flight Data Recorders Found as New Details Emerge About Washington, DC Plane Crash” continues to resonate nationwide—everyone wants to know how we can prevent something like this from ever happening again.

Baba Vanga made chillingly accurate prediction about Donald Trump’s life

Blind since childhood, Baba Vanga – often referred to as the ‘Balkan Nostradamus’ – was a Bulgarian mystic. Most of her predictions were so accurate that it was chilling.

Among the rest, this woman with special abilities who died in 1996 predicted the tragic death of Princess Diana, the 9/11 attack on the Twin Towers, and the Chernobyl disaster.

According to those interested in her predictions, she spoke of events that would take place far into the future, up until the year 5079.

For the year 2025, she predicted troubles in mainland Europe. Also, Baba Vanga predicted that human telepathy would become a reality, not just a realm of science fiction.

She spoke of Indira Gandhi, a prominent but controversial political figure who served as a prime minister of India in the early 1980s. “The dress will destroy her. I see an orange-yellow dress in the smoke and fire,” Baba Vanga said of Gandhi. Indeed, on the day of her assassination by her own Sikh bodyguards, she wore a saffron-hued saree.

The Bulgarian mystic also predicted that the 44th president of the United States of America would be a black man, and even Trump’s attempted assassination during presidential campaign rally in Pennsylvania.

On July 13, 2024, Donald Trump was fired at during a rally in Butler. He was hit in the ear, while a volunteer fire chief was killed. Two other people were wounded.

“For 15 seconds, time stood still,” Trump told the crowd. “This vicious monster unleashed evil. The villain did not succeed in his goal.”

NDTV

The shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, was spotted by officers at Butler Farm Show with a rifle, and a SWAT officer had identified him as a ‘suspicious person’ before taking a picture of him.

Trump was “fine and being checked out at a local medical facility,” a spokesperson said at the time.

In his inauguration speech, Trump said, “I was saved by God to make America great again.”

So, what Baba Vanga’s prediction said of this attempted assassination?

Andrew Harnik/Getty Images

She didn’t specifically predicted a gunshot, but she said Trump would be struck with mysterious illness that would leave him deaf.

Though the injury does not appear to have caused hearing loss, it does not make the prediction any less remarkable.

Barron Trump opens up on relationship with his father

Despite being the son of a New York business mogul-turned-president, the private life of Barron Trump has largely remained a mystery throughout the years, but now, he has finally opened up about his relationship with his father.

When Barron was born, the world heard the news of his arrival into the world just 20 minutes later. The proud father alerted the media that he welcomed his fifth child.

As reported by several newspapers, he called MSNBC’s long-running radio show “Imus in the Morning,” hosted by Don Imus, to reveal the news.

“Everyone’s perfect,” Donald Trump, who was 59 at the time, told Imus.

“I continue to stay young, right? I produce children, I stay young,” while Melania’s website posted that the baby weighted in at 8 1/2 pounds and was 21 inches long.

AP

He grew up in the Trump Tower in Manhattan, where he has an entire floor for himself. Although he has lived surrounded by luxury, he never had a traditional nanny while growing up. Instead, Melania took all the care of him, and that included preparing him breakfast and lunch every day.

Fast forward to present day, Barron grew up into a well-behaved young man whose height catches the attention of the public. According to his father, Barron is 6 ft 8.

During the presidential campaign and in his inauguration speech Trump praised his son, asking the crowd if they had heard of his “tall son,” to which they replied with loud cheers.

“He knew the youth vote. You know we won the youth vote by 36 points,” Trump said. “He was saying, ’dad, I got to go out and to this and that one and we did a lot of them, Trump said and added: “He respects them all, he understood it very well. He said ’dad, you got to go out and do Joe Rogan, all these guys that we did. They were all great, right? Barron, they were all great.”

On the Valuetainment podcast, hosts Patrick Bet-David, Adam Sosnick, Tom Ellsworth, Vincent Oshana, and FOX News’ Jesse Watters, revealed details about the relationship of Barron Trump with his father.

Namely, the hosts of the podcast, who hosted the likes of late Kobe Bryan in the past, were invited to dinner at Mar-A-Lago where they had the chance to talk to the young Trump.

One of the hosts recalled: “[We were in the middle of talking] and all of a sudden music comes on so loud. We asked what it was and Barron said, ‘my dad’s the freakin’ DJ [in this house]’.”

Getty Images through Irish Star

“All you see is the president on his iPad, the lights on his face… Barron’s like, ‘I’ll be in my room and the house is shaking. My dad plays the music so loud.'”

One of the other hosts praised Barron to be an awesome host.

However, they all found it hilarious to picture the 78-year-old U.S. president playing loud music while 18-year-old Barron tried to keep his cool.

“Barron has a good head on his shoulder,” they said. “He’s a professional. At the end [of the dinner] he was like, ‘Vinny, whenever you guys want to come for dinner, hit me up’. It was amazing.”

My wife vanished 15 years ago after going out to buy diapers – Last week, I saw her, and she said, ‘you have to forgive me’

The birth of our son Noah was supposed to bring me and my wife even closer. He was a blessing that added to our already happy union. Or at least I thought so, because one day, my wife kissed our baby on the forehead, grabbed her purse, and said she was going to the store to grab some diapers, and then, she simply vanished!

After more time that it usually took for a trip to the store passed by, I started to get worried. I waited a bit more, and then I headed to the store to see why my wife hadn’t returned yet.

On the way there, I was cautiously looking around, but she was nowhere to be seen. I entered every store that was close to our home, but still no sign of her.

Upon returning home, I alerted the police who were convincing me that they were doing all in their power to track down my wife who vanished.

Days passed by, and she was still missing.

My heart broke over and over again which each passing day. At one point, the police told me that she could likely be dead, but it was something I didn’t want to believe could be true.

But where was she? Our marriage was picture perfect. We loved each other unconditionally. She would never leave me and our son.

Unfortunately, it looked like Lisa wouldn’t be coming back because of reasons unknown.

I was forced to raise my son all by myself. I only received little help from my parents, while Lisa’s were never around.

Midjourney

Life was hard. I couldn’t move on without the closure I needed badly.

Some 15 years later, Noah was already a teenager. He grew into a loving boy who asked about his mother every now and then. Sadly, I didn’t have answers, and that was tearing me apart.

One day, that was supposed to be as plain as any other since Lisa’s disappearance, I went to the store to grab some waffles. However, as I was hesitating which brand to pick, I lifted my head and noticed a familiar figure.

A woman standing at one of the aisles, reading the labels of the products, resembled Lisa so much that it felt surreal.

Midjourney

I knew that it couldn’t be. My desire to see her was playing tricks on my mind. Still, I decided to approach closer. At that moment, she turned to me.

“Lisa!?” I said. Her hair had a patches of grey and she was aged, but it was my wife, the one who vanished 15 years ago.

Shocked, I barely found the strength to ask more questions.

She looked straight into my eyes and whispered, “Bryan, I can explain. But you need to forgive me!”

My world turned upside down. I started shaking. “Forgive you? Lisa, where have you been all these years? I thought you were dead,” I said, as anger started building up inside me.

Midjourney

Lisa seemed remorseful. She said she was overwhelmed when she became a mother, and she believed our modest life wouldn’t be enough for Noah.

“Bryan, you need to try and understand my reasons. I could stand living paycheck to paycheck.”

She explained that her parents, who were never interested in Noah, helped her move to Europe, where she attended college and built a career.

“But now I’m here. I have enough money to provide a perfect life for us and Noah,” she said. “You know, I returned because I needed to see you. I was planning to call you. I had no idea I would run into you this way.”

Midjourney

Honestly, I couldn’t believe the audacity. “You though you could disappear just like that and then return? No, Lisa, that’s not how life works,” I said.

She begged me to forgive her, but I couldn’t do that. Not after I raised my son all by myself. Not after all the heartbreak and the 15 years spent in mourning the woman I loved without even knowing if she was death or alive.

I simply turned around and left.

My wife, who vanished and left her family behind, was no longer the person I loved. My feelings for her turned into hatred and anger. But at least I got the closure that helped me finally move on with my life.

Witnesses to mid-air collision near Reagan National Airport speak out

The mid-air collision between an American Airlines jet and a US Army Blackhawk helicopter that occurred near Reagan Washington National Airport on the evening of January 29, 2025, brought shock and devastation.

The deadly collision claimed the lives of 67 passengers from both aircraft that ended in the icy Potomac river.

Fire and EMS Chief John A. Donnelly said that as of Thursday morning, 27 bodies had been recovered, and by late afternoon that number reached 40. Sadly, the harsh conditions and the huge ice cubes in the waters of the river create difficulties for the operation.

During a news conference, President Donald Trump said, “Sadly, there are no survivors. This was a dark and excruciating night in our nation’s capital and in our nation’s history, and a tragedy of terrible proportions.

“As one nation, we grieve for every precious soul that has been taken from us so suddenly.”

Witnesses of the deadly mid-air collision shared their accounts of the tragic night.

Abadi Ismail, who was in the Buzzard Point area near James Creek Marina at the time of the tragedy, said, “I have an advantage view of the Potomac River, the Anacostia River, Reagan Airport, the military base. I have cinematic view so I could see everything that is happening from the moment the crash happened [sic].”

When he heard the loud bang, he was watching television.

“It was a bang, bang, very loud bang, bang. Something I’m not familiar with, something you don’t normally hear.”

When he looked through the window, he saw smoke rising from the south side of the Reagan Washington National Airport. Just moments later, he witnessed emergency services, police, and fire trucks arriving at the scene.

“Every resource within DC were heading toward the crash scene. That’s when I took the video. Somewhere around 8:50 p.m. [sic],” he recalled.

YouTube/fox5dc

“The crash scene is about two miles from where I’m at. Based on what I see, I have friends that work at the DC Park. Based on their analysis on the site, this is not a search and rescue mission at this point. Unfortunately, it’s a recovery mission [sic],” Ismail added.

Another witness, local resident Jimmy Mazeo spoke to WUSA9 and said that at first, he didn’t think much about it and that the collision resembled “shooting stars.”

“We didn’t really think much of it until we saw the fire trucks started going out to the tarmac and the police cars and boats. It was insane,” he said. They only realized that a serious tragedy had taken place once first responders started to arrive.

“I’m really in awe. Of course it’s terrible what happened tonight, but I think that it’s crazy we got to see what happened. I’m praying for all the people involved in this,” he added.

WUSA9

The mid-air collision was also witnessed by Ari Shulman who was driving home Wednesday night on the George Washington Parkway near Ronald Reagan National Airport when a “spray of sparks” on the sky caught his attention.

“I looked back and [the plane] was banked all the way to the right it was illuminated yellow underneath and there was a spray of sparks on the underside,” Schulman told ABC News chief national correspondent Byron Pitts.

Daily Mail obtained a footage of the collision.

The final messages from Russian figure skaters to their son before the American Airlines plane crash

Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov, Russian champion figure skaters who won the World Figure Skating Championship in Pairs in 1994 were among the passengers on American Airlines Flight 5342 that clashed with an U.S. Army helicopter on Wednesday, at around 9 p.m.

USA Figure Skating revealed that several other members of its skating community were also on board.

The skaters, their coaches and relatives were returning from the National Development Camp held in Wichita, Kansas.

Vadim Naumov and son Maxim

“We are devastated by this unspeakable tragedy and hold the victims’ families closely in our hearts,” the statement by the USA Figure Skating read.

“We will continue to monitor the situation and will release more information as it becomes available.”

Shishkova and Naumov’s son, 23-year-old Maxim, was also part of the camp and many feared that he was also on board, but a teammate, Anton Spiridonov, claimed he left Wichita on Monday and didn’t fly together with his parents.

“I wasn’t on the flight. People I knew, I think, were,” Spiridonov said. “Maxim Naumov was not on board – he left Wichita on Monday.

“He was at the airport with me, going through security at the same time.”

Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov

As per Sankt-Peterburgskie Vedomosti, Russia’s oldest newspaper, the couple sent their son a message, writing how proud they were of his accomplishment and edning on the fourth place in a competition help days prior to the crash.

“We are proud of you, Maxim,” the couple wrote in a social media post. “He climbed to the podium at the Nationals after seventh place in the short program. This beautiful and emotional performance is the result of teamwork. Maxim has earned his place in the team of champions of four continents.”

The couple moved to the United States from the Russian city of Leningrad in 1998, where they became coaches.

Olga Yermolina, a spokesperson for Russia’s figure skating league, told Zvezda that there were no active Russian figure skaters on Flight 5342.

“We have to wait for the official lists,” Yermolina said.

“These are people with other passports who once performed or trained with the USSR or Russian national team, but now they are US citizens.”

DC’s fire and emergency medical services chief John Donnelly said they believe all of the 64 passengers that were on board are believed to be dead.

“We don’t believe there are any survivors from this accident and we have recovered 27 people from the plane and one from the helicopter,” he said.

Further, the Potomac river, where the plane plummeted, had recently frozen, making it extremely difficult for police divers and boats to search the water for bodies.

Officials expect the operation to last for several days.

A Renowned Pilot Speaks Out on Deadly Collision

I nearly dropped my phone when I saw the headline: Hero pilot Captain Sully shares terrifying theory on why DC plane crash happened. If there’s anyone whose opinion I trust about aviation disasters, it’s Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger—the man who famously landed a passenger jet on the Hudson River back in 2009 and saved 155 lives. This time around, Sully’s concerns center on nighttime flights over water, which he suspects might have played a tragic role in the recent collision near Washington, D.C.

Night Flight Complications

According to Sully, the crash that took 67 lives might have stemmed partly from poor visibility when flying over a dark body of water. He noted that fewer ground lights reflecting off water at night can make spotting other aircraft much tougher. As he explained, “All you can see are the lights on them,” which makes determining relative altitude and distance incredibly challenging. Some might question whether an air traffic controller should have stepped in—but as Sully points out, if the pilots see each other and confirm visual contact, the controller can briefly hand over separation duties to them. Sadly, something went horribly wrong.

Hero Pilot Captain Sully Shares Terrifying Theory on Why DC Plane Crash Happened

Sully also spoke on Good Morning America, where he reiterated that at least one pilot had visual contact but still lost the required distance for a safe flight path. When those last lines of defense fail, it’s reminiscent of “dominoes lined up the wrong way,” to use Sully’s words. With nighttime flights, any small lapse can become catastrophic. The fact that Hero pilot Captain Sully shares terrifying theory on why DC plane crash happened should make every airline and pilot re-examine their protocols—especially around busy airports like Reagan National, known for short runways and nearby air traffic.

Runway Pressures and Staffing Challenges

One area of concern emerging from the incident is staffing in the control tower at Reagan National Airport. Some reports mention that the controller responsible for guiding helicopters near DCA was also handling departures and arrivals. Sully noted that because DC’s airport is so close to other airfields—and has such short runways—pilots need specialized training to operate there safely. Pair these complexities with chronic understaffing, and it’s easy to see how the scenario for a midair collision could develop.

Hero Pilot Captain Sully Shares Terrifying Theory on Why DC Plane Crash Happened… and Why It Must Be Addressed

For the first time since crash-landing in the Hudson River, Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger returns to the cockpit of US Airways jet flight 1549 at the Carolinas Aviation Museum Friday, November 18, 2011. Todd Sumlin – [email protected]

Investigators have recovered the black boxes from the submerged wreckage in the Potomac River—offering a glimmer of hope that the final minutes before the crash can be pieced together. A preliminary report already suggests the tower was stretched thin, with the same person talking to both helicopter and plane pilots. Sully’s warning underscores that nighttime flight, water reflections, and possible staffing shortages might have aligned to create the perfect storm. Whenever I recall that Hero pilot Captain Sully shares terrifying theory on why DC plane crash happened, I can’t help but think: if even he’s rattled by these conditions, we should all be paying attention.

Lessons from the Miracle on the Hudson

Sully’s experience is practically legend by now. When his plane lost both engines after a bird strike in 2009, he managed a safe water landing on the Hudson River, miraculously saving everyone onboard. He’s since been a vocal advocate for safety reforms, pilot training, and thorough incident investigations. If the aviation world heeds his warnings about the recent D.C. crash, maybe future disasters can be prevented. But as Sully puts it, “Any lapse could potentially be fatal, even though we have a lot of safety.”

A Tragic Midair Collision: My Inside Look at the Disaster Rocking Washington

I was stunned the moment I heard news of the plane crash near Washington DC—it’s the first major commercial aviation catastrophe the United States has witnessed since 2009. The collision, which occurred on January 29, 2025, involved a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 passenger jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter. As rescue teams sprang into action, the frigid temperatures and strong currents in the Potomac River added to the heartbreak, slowing down any chance of a quick recovery.

The Aircraft, the Timing, and the Chaos

American Airlines Flight 5342 took off from Wichita, Kansas, carrying 64 people—60 passengers and four crew members. It was supposed to land at Reagan National Airport around 9 p.m. But at 8:53 p.m., local authorities started getting frantic calls about “an aircraft crash above the Potomac River.” Meanwhile, the Black Hawk helicopter was on a training mission for the 12th Aviation Battalion, based at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. These soldiers specialize in rapid transport and emergency operations around the National Capital Region. Ironically, the same skills they practice might have come into play for this rescue if they hadn’t been directly involved in the accident themselves.

A Midair Collision Caught on Camera

Air traffic control audio reveals that just before the tragedy, the tower instructed the helicopter pilot to keep clear of the incoming jet. The pilot acknowledged the command, confirming visual contact. However, seconds later, stunned voices from the control tower signaled a catastrophic impact. Videos from EarthCam and eyewitness footage show the plane and helicopter erupting into a fiery collision. One bystander, Ari Schulman, said he was driving home when he saw the aircraft tilt sharply—a full 90 degrees—before sparks lit the sky. Moments later, everything went dark. That’s how quickly this plane crash near Washington DC turned a routine evening flight into a disaster.

Reagan National Shuts Down

With one of America’s busiest airports at a standstill, 19 incoming flights were diverted to Dulles International Airport. Officials soon confirmed that both the helicopter and the passenger jet had plunged into the Potomac. D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser spoke at a press conference, emphasizing that the focus was on finding survivors. Families anxiously waited for updates at a support center set up by American Airlines, where counselors did their best to offer comfort. In the midst of it all, one man, Hamaad Raza, revealed he lost contact with his wife just before the collision. He simply prayed someone was “pulling her out of the river right now.”

Racing Against Time in Icy Waters

Nearly 300 first responders, along with the FBI’s Washington Field Office dive team, converged on the river in near-freezing conditions. According to D.C. Fire and EMS Chief John Donnelly, crews were braving chilling temperatures, strong currents, and floating ice. With water hovering around 35°F, hypothermia is a real threat—on top of the typical challenges of a nighttime rescue. Gasping reflexes can kick in within seconds of hitting such cold water, making the situation downright harrowing for anyone who might have survived the initial crash.

Reflecting on Past Disasters

It’s jarring to realize this plane crash near Washington DC marks the first major U.S. commercial aviation disaster since Colgan Air Flight 3407 in 2009, which took 49 lives. While there have been other serious accidents—like the 2013 Asiana Airlines crash in San Francisco and a 2018 Southwest Airlines engine failure—none had resulted in such widespread calamity for a commercial flight until now. Seeing those helicopters scanning the Potomac with their searchlights reminded me of news reels from older tragedies—except this one is happening right here in real time.

The Road Ahead

NTSB investigators are on the case, but so far, few details about the precise cause have been released. People speculate about human error, mechanical failures, or breakdowns in communication. Right now, that’s all just guesswork. For the families awaiting word on their loved ones, the focus is on immediate answers, not speculation. Back in Wichita, a city prayer vigil has been planned for noon on January 30, inviting the community to come together in support of those impacted by the crash. This display of unity feels critical: if there’s one thing we’ve learned from these tragedies, it’s that empathy and togetherness can at least offer a bit of solace in the midst of heartbreak.

For me, the real gut-punch is how normal everything seemed until it wasn’t. One minute, a flight is simply on approach, the next—lives are turned upside down. In the end, the plane crash near Washington DC reminds us that life is fragile, and the simplest instructions—like “pass behind the CRJ”—can become the difference between a safe landing and a national tragedy.

Figure skater final photo from plane before horrible crash in Washington

Among the passengers on board the American Airlines Flight 5342 were six members of the figure skating group.

The plane that was flying from Wichita, Kansas to Washington DC. crashed at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night and plummeted into the icy Potomac river.

It was reported that it carried 60 passengers and four crew members, while the U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter, also involved in the crash, carried three members of the military.

Daily Mail reported that everyone abroad is feared dead at this point.

Spencer Lane, a figure skater involved in the deadly plane crash, documented his trip from the National Development Camp he and the rest of the members were returning from.

The young man’s final post on Instagram showed a photo from inside the plane with the caption, “ICT -> DCA,” codes standing for Wichita’s Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport and Reagan National.

The names of the rest of the members of the Skating Club of Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts, were announced by the club.

They are: Jinna Han, Jin Han, Spencer Lane, Christine Lane, Vadim Naumov and Evgenia Shishkova.

Naumov and Shishkova won the World Figure Skating Championship in pairs in 1994. Their son was also part of the skating camp, but it has not yet been revealed whether he was among the passengers on the tragic flight.

Doug Zeghibe, the head of the skating club, released a statement about its members, who are believed to be aboard.

“Our sport and this Club have suffered a horrible loss with this tragedy.

“Skating is a tight-knit community where parents and kids come together 6 or 7 days a week to train and work together. Everyone is like family.

“Of the skaters, coaches and parents on the plane, we believe six were from The Skating Club of Boston. We are devastated and completely at a loss for words.”

John Donnelly, Washington, DC’s fire and emergency services chief, said, “Despite their efforts, we are now at a point where we are switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation. At this point, we do not believe there are any survivors from this accident.”

According to a statement shared on X by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet was approaching Runway 33 at the airport when it collided with a Sikorsky H-60 helicopter in mid-air. “PSA was operating as Flight 5342 for American Airlines,” the FAA added.

According to President Trump’s first statement, the PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional plane was making a regular and accurate approach to the airport.

“It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn. Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane [sic],” Trump’s statement added.

In an interview with TV host Sean Hannity, Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary, emphasized the seriousness of this crash.

“I can confirm that President Trump has been made aware of the situation, and tragically, it appears that a military helicopter collided with a regional jet at DCA airport right here in Washington, D.C.,” Leavitt said.

“That’s all I can confirm at this point in time, and I can just say that the thoughts and the prayers of the entire Trump administration are with all those that are involved, and we ask the public in this area to please stand by for guidance from law enforcement and allow them to do their jobs as they attempt to save lives right now.”

Our thoughts and prayers go to the families who lost their loved ones in this horrific plane crash.

My ex-husband broke into my house at night while my daughter and I were asleep – then, I suddenly heard her scream

Being married to Liam was emotionally and financially draining. When I tried to talk to him one night, and asked him to try and change for the sake of our daughter, he casually asked for divorce and soon enough, he was my ex-husband.

However, the things that led to our separation haunted me long after. I couldn’t understand how could someone be so selfish the way Liam was.

He only thought of himself and his little whims he was trying to satisfy with our shared finances.

One time, when our daughter Danielle asked me to take her to ballet classes, I decided to cut some of the costs and provide her with the opportunity. Those who had their kids attending these classes know just how expensive they are.

And then, just as I was about to call the academy, Liam came home and told me he invested all of our money on a cripto currency his friends assured him would make him rich over night.

As expected, that turned out to be just a scam that left us broke.

“Liam, you can’t keep doing this, you know that,” I told him one day. But he started yelling and accused me of not believing in him.

Honestly, he was right. I didn’t believe in his plans of making money without having a regular job. So, he asked for divorce, and once I became aware that he didn’t care about being a good husband and father, I agreed.

Luckily, Danielle and I got to keep the house which I inherited from my grandfather.

Midjourney

Since the divorce, Liam hadn’t contacted me. It seemed like he wasn’t interested to know how our daughter was doing either.

And then, one night, while Danielle and I were asleep, someone broke into the house. I heard my daughter’s loud screams and rushed to her room.

She was shaking. “Mom, that man had a crowbar. I think it was… dad.”

Danielle’s words felt like a sharp knife. “Are you sure, honey?” I asked her. With teary eyes, she said, “Yes, mom. It was dad. But his eyes looked scary.”

I couldn’t believe my ex-husband was capable of something like that.

Midjourney

The following morning, I noticed that some of Danielle’s jewelry was missing. It wasn’t much, just a tiny necklace and a pair of earrings my mom and dad gave her when she was born.

Afraid that Liam could do the same thing agin, I asked my mom to take Danielle at her place for some time. In the meantime, I installed security cameras that detected movement. I would receive a notification whenever a movement was detected directly on my phone.

The weeks that followed were calm, and then one night, I received a notification about movement at the front door.

Pexels

Without hesitating, I called 911. “Someone entered my home. Please send help.”

While I was waiting for the police to arrive, I crept down the stairs. I moved passed the kitchen and entered the laundry room. It was then that I realized the person, whom I suspected was my ex-husband, was in the garage.

As I pushed the door, I noticed a person wearing black and having a crowbar in his hand trying to push down the shelf with the tools.

“Liam!” I called his name.

He froze and looked at me. He was wearing a mask, but I could recognize his eyes from a mile away.

Midjourney

“What do you think you are doing?” I asked.

He didn’t say a word, just started walking towards me.

Scared, I rushed towards the other side of the garage and pushed the button that opened the door.

Just as my ex-husband tried to run away, two police officers told him to freeze and drop the crowbar.

I approached him, wanting to know what he was after.

“You stole your own daughter’s jewelry, what else do you want?” I asked, fueled with anger.

Liam looked at me and said that while he was packing, he noticed a safe behind one of the shelves and wanted to see what was inside.

Midjourney

“A safe?” I asked. I had never noticed the safe Liam was talking about, but now as I knew it existed, I was eager to learn what was inside.

The following morning, I contacted a locksmith who opened the safe. Inside, there weren’t any gold bars or jewelry, just neatly placed bank documents.

It turned out my grandpa had deposit boxes where he kept his fortune, and they were all registered to me.

When I faced my ex-husband in the courtroom, where I testified against him for breaking into my home, I thanked him for telling me about the safe.

“Thanks to you, I am now a rich woman,” I said as I smiled at his face. “And you? I really hope your time in prison would teach you a lesson.”

12-year-old dies after fatal allergic reaction to milkshake

Milkshake made in a dirty blender containing traces of nuts led to the tragic death of 12-year-old schoolgirl Mia-Shay St Hilaire, who suffered severe allergic reaction.

Her devastated parents say the tragedy could have been easily avoided had the London café followed safety regulations. This only added to their heartbreak.

As per BBC, Mia-Shay, who was allergic to tree nuts, visited the Pop Inn Café on Southwark Park Road, South-East London, and ordered milkshake. However, they prepared her order in the same blender they had previously made a drink containing almonds and hazelnuts.

Mia-Shay was rushed to the hospital where she sadly passed away.

The incident took place on August 30, 2023.

Southwark Council’s food safety team launched an investigation in order to determine the circumstances preceding Mia-Shay’s fatal allergic reaction. They concluded that the blender used wasn’t washed before making Mia’s milkshake. As a result, traces of the nuts remained in it and ended in Mia’s drink.

CCTV footage from the café showed the worker, Baris Yucel, 47, failing to clean the blender.

The failure to follow the safety regulations directly contributed to the severe allergic reaction and the young girl’s passing.

On December 2024, Yucel admitted six criminal charges relating to the young girl’s tragic passing. Some included failure to provide allergen information for customers, failure to prevent cross-contamination during food preparation and serving food containing an undisclosed allergen.

Croydon Magistrates’ Court fined him £18,000 and gave him a 100-hour community order.

Mia-Shay’s parents said, “We think of Mia every day and knowing her death could potentially have been prevented so simply, only adds to how heartbroken we are as a family.

“We hope this conviction and fine sends a loud message to businesses serving food and drinks across the country, of the devastating consequences of failing to take food safety seriously.”

Yucel’s lawyer said “a day does not go by when he does not think about the child and her family.”

We are so very sorry for this devastating loss.

Choir begins singing ‘Lone Ranger’ theme with backs to the crowd

If you believe a classical piece of music can’t have a touch of comedy added, then you’ve probably missed the masterpiece performance by the choir at Timpanogos High School.

These young people’s rendition of the classical The William Tell Overture, or widely known as the Lone Ranger, composed in the early 1800s by Gioachino Rossini, has long been talked about.

The memorable performance started with the members of the choir delivering the overture in perfect acappella before turning their backs to the crowd, with one of the singers facing the crowd, pretending she had forgotten the moves.

This brought laughter from the audience, who were likely unaware of the show that was about to unfold before their eyes.

Just seconds later, the male members, dressed in formal attires, started their hilarious antics. They started galloping across the stage on imaginary horses and it wasn’t long before the girls joined them in and sent the audience into laughter.

The carefully planned choreography, combined with humor and precision, shows that the choir perfectly rehearsed the show. It not only intended to entertain the audience but also to take the internet by storm.

As the finale of the performance approached, the members of the choir received a loud applause.

This is without a doubt one of the most unforgettable shows. It is definitely worth watching.

Inside the Harrowing Collision: How a Routine Flight Ended in Tragedy

I still can’t believe the American Airlines plane crash audio that’s been circulating—it’s downright chilling. One moment, everything seems business as usual, and the next, two aircraft collide in midair, sending pieces of wreckage into the frigid Potomac River. Hearing the distressed voices and shocked gasps made it all feel painfully real.

A Catastrophe at Reagan National

The nightmare unfolded near Reagan National Airport, forcing an immediate shutdown of all operations until at least 11 a.m. ET. Officials say the American Airlines commuter jet, Flight 5342, had 60 passengers and four crew on board. Meanwhile, a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter with three soldiers was on a routine training flight. By the time rescuers arrived, both were submerged in the freezing river. At the time of reporting, there were no confirmed survivors, and families clung to hope while the world watched in shock.

What the Recordings Reveal

Radio chatter picked up by air traffic control captures every tense moment, shedding light on how this disaster may have happened. First, you hear a controller ask the Black Hawk crew, “PAT 2-5, do you have the CRJ in sight?” and shortly after, “PAT 2-5, pass behind the CRJ.” Moments later, the helicopter pilot radios back, requesting “visual separation.” Then comes the unmistakable gasp—caught forever on tape—hinting at the exact moment of impact. It’s the kind of split-second chaos the American Airlines plane crash audio brings to life, and it’s frightening to imagine.

Aftermath and Disbelief

Following the collision, another pilot confirmed he saw flares around the Potomac. An approach controller added, “Both aircraft are in the river, a search and rescue is underway.” Hearing that still gives me goosebumps. Reagan National essentially froze, with flights diverted and passengers left in limbo. American Airlines set up a center inside the airport for loved ones of those on Flight 5342, offering what little comfort they could muster. Meanwhile, first responders battled icy waters in a desperate attempt to recover victims.

Frustration from the Top

Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform, venting frustrations over how this could have happened on a clear night with the plane’s lights in full blaze. He questioned why the helicopter didn’t adjust altitude or alter its path, and criticized air traffic control for “asking if they saw the plane” instead of giving explicit instructions. The president’s words captured the sentiment of many: How could a routine flight path end in such a tragedy? It’s a question that may take investigators months to answer, if ever.

The Bigger Picture

Shocking as it is, this crash is just one in a string of aviation disasters in recent memory. A helicopter collided with a radio tower in Houston back in October 2024, reminding us how quickly things can go wrong in the skies. The American Airlines plane crash audio underscores how even small moments of confusion or miscommunication can have devastating outcomes. Investigators will no doubt scrutinize these tapes frame by frame, second by second, to uncover the exact series of events that led to this heartbreak.

Why It Matters

For me, the haunting air traffic recordings serve as a stark reminder that no amount of technology or training can entirely eliminate human error. If there’s any consolation, it’s that these tapes will help aviation experts learn valuable lessons to prevent similar tragedies. Still, that’s small comfort for the families left reeling—and for everyone who heard that gasp echo across the control tower frequency.

Man shares haunting final text from wife aboard American Airlines Flight 5342 just before crash

Hamaad Raza, the man whose wife was on board American Airlines Flight 5342 when it collided with a US military helicopter, shared the last text she had sent to him.

The plane was flying from Wichita, Kansas to Washington DC. and crashed at around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night.

In a heartbreaking interview with WUSA9, Raza revealed his wife texted him, “Landing in 20 minutes.” When his replies weren’t delivered, he sensed something could not be right.

Raza’s wife, who had traveled to and from Wichita for work, was fearful of flying and never really felt comfortable while on board, Raza disclosed with reporter Larry Miller.

“I’m just praying that somebody’s pulling her out of the river right now, as we speak.”

WUSA9

“That’s all I can pray for, I’m just praying to God”, desperate Raza told WUSA9.

American Airlines Flight 5342 carried 60 passengers and four crew members when it plummeted into the icy Potomac river. The helicopter carried three soldiers.

People reported that members of the U.S. Figure Skating team were also onboard the plane at the time of the crash.

“These athletes, coaches, and family members were returning home from the National Development Camp held in conjunction with the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita, Kansas,” the governing body confirmed in a statement to the publication.

Reuters through The Sun

As per the BBC, approximately 300 rescuers in rubber boats have been sent out on the Potomac River to search for survivors, said John Donnelly, Washington, DC’s fire and emergency services chief.

“The challenge is access, there is wind, pieces of ice (on the water). It is dangerous and hard to work in,” Donelly said.

Later, Donelly said, “Despite their efforts, we are now at a point where we are switching from a rescue operation to a recovery operation. At this point, we do not believe there are any survivors from this accident.”

@metrouk A man waiting for his wife at Reagan National Airport revealed the final text she sent to him before her flight collided with a military helicopter. 64 people were on the passenger plane and three soldiers inside the helicopter. Following the tragic crash, American Airlines issued the following statement: “American Eagle Flight 5342 en route from Wichita, Kansas (ICT), to Washington, D.C. (DCA) was involved in an accident at DCA. The flight was operated by PSA Airlines with a CRJ-700.

“Our concern is for the passengers and crew on board the aircraft. We are in contact with authorities and assisting with emergency response efforts.”

President Donald Trump, who took office on Monday, said he was closely following the issue and confirmed receiving a detailed briefing on “the horrible accident.”

“May God Bless their souls,” he said in a statement. “Thank you for the incredible work being done by our first responders.”

I caught my kids’ nanny getting out of the shower while my husband was home, so I turned on the nanny cam the next day

Upon returning home from work one day, a woman was shocked to see the nanny getting out of the shower. After confronting her, she said that she needed to take a shower because one of the kids spilled the milk on her.

Since this wasn’t a usual situation, the woman demanded a further explanation. The nanny said the kids were napping, so she thought it wouldn’t be a problem to take a shower since she wasn’t really leaving them unattended.

“I still don’t think it’s appropriate for you to shower in my home though,” the woman replied in frustration. The 23-year-old nanny started reassuring her that she did it because she didn’t think it was a big of a deal.

As the two were going back and forth on the matter, the woman’s husband suddenly appeared in the living room. This only made things more twisted as at the time he was supposed to be at work.

Pexels

The husband sided with the nanny, telling his wife she shouldn’t have been angry over a shower.

The woman was confused. She couldn’t help but think that her husband could be having an affair with the woman whom she paid to babysit her kids.

Filled with doubts, the woman decided to take out the good old nanny cam she used when the children were still babies. She installed it in the living room and waited to see if something odd was taking place behind her back.

The following day, she was looking at the cam when she spotted her husband entering the house. She saw him leaving in the morning. He was supposed to be at work, so why was he home at that time?

Unaware of what was going on, the woman told her boss she wasn’t feeling fine and asked if she could call the day off.

In a hurry, she headed home and saw her husband cooking lunch in the kitchen.

Looking at her, he said, “You are early.” She told him they allowed her to go home early because of a power outage that brought the systems down. He seemed to accept her story before saying, “Honey, I have to tell you something,” sounding like he was guilty of a crime.

Then, he confessed something completely unexpected.

The husband revealed that his company had let him go a week ago due to downsizing. He said that he had been too afraid to tell his wife the truth. So, he had chosen to keep it from her, pretending to go to work instead. In reality, he had been spending his days at home, searching for a new job online and helping around the children.

He then said, “Yesterday indeed our daughter spilled milk on our nanny so I told her to go and wash everything while I was there to take care of the kids who were napping.”

Man ate 720 eggs in one month: This is what happened to his body

It all started with a hypothesis that his cholesterol levels won’t level up, and ended with the consumption of whooping 720 eggs in just a month, equaling to 24 eggs per day.

Yes, you’ve heard that right. Medical student Dr. Nick Norwitz decided to undertake an interesting “eggsperiment” that he documented in a YouTube video.

Addressing his followers, Dr. Norwitz said he believes that consuming 60 dozen eggs won’t affect the levels of his cholesterol, especially the LDL cholesterol, or the “bad cholesterol,” despite the fact that 720 eggs “amounts to 133,200 MG of cholesterol.”

In order to prove his theory right, he ate an average of one egg per hour for an entire month.

A post shared by Nick Norwitz (@nicknorwitz)

The results? Well, put into Dr. Norwitz’s wods, they were jaw-dropping.

“Even though my dietary intake of cholesterol more than twintupled, my LDL cholesterol actually dropped by two percent over the first two weeks,” he explained.

Over the following two weeks, the levels of his LDL cholesterol dropped an impressive 18 more percent.

Now, if you wonder how that is possible, since teachers taught us that cholesterol-rich foods increase the levels, Dr. Norwitz provides an answer.

“Basically, when you eat cholesterol it ‘binds to receptors on gut cells and this stimulates the release of a hormone called chisin and chisin binds to its receptor on the liver called GPR1 146 and this inhibits endogenous cholesterol synthesis by the liver so things balance out and the homeostasis is maintained,” he said.

“The purpose of this whole experiment was a metabolic demonstration to discuss the ‘levers’ that can affect cholesterol in different individuals,” the cell biologist metabolism scientist who’s pursuing medical degree at Harvard, shared with Fox News.

“I expected my cholesterol levels not to change by just adding the eggs — and that is indeed what happened.”

Dr. Norwitz, who has done a number of experiments in order to show his interest in metabolic health, further explained that there is no a universal “best” diet.

My husband died in an accident, and I never saw his body – Then, I heard his voice from our daughter’s bedroom

The grief that settled in my heart after my husband’s passing was so profound that I couldn’t imagine my life without him by my side. When I lost him, I was eight months pregnant, and the though of my daughter never meeting her dad crashed me even more. And then, one night the voice of my late husband filled my daughter’s room and I though I was going crazy.

When I received the fateful call that Jeremy was involved in a fatal car crash, my world collapsed.

“Please, officer,” I yelled at the person on the other end of the phone. “Tell me that’s not true. Please say my husband’s alive…”

Unfortunately, Jeremy passed away, and I didn’t even get to see his body. They told me the crash was so bad I wouldn’t even recognize what was left of him.

I was sad beyond what words can say, but I needed to be strong for my girl.

A month later, I gave birth to the most beautiful girl, Sophia.

Even though she was just a baby who didn’t understand anything, I told her stories about Jeremy, and about how much he would have loved her.

Two years have passed, and my pain still wouldn’t go away. I missed my husband more than anything.

Then, one night, as I put Sophia to bed and decided to read a book in the next room, I heard a familiar voice, that of my husband.

Chills ran down my spine. Was I going mad?

The door was locked, the windows were shut, and the house was unusually peaceful.

Before I could come to my senses, I heard it yet again. “I will love you forever.”

“Oh, my God. That’s Jeremy’s voice. Could he be… alive!?”

I rushed to Sophia’s room, and looked around. There was no one there. She was sleeping peacefully. Was I imagining things?

No. I wasn’t. Just as I was about to leave the room, I heard the voice one again. “I will love you forever.”

And then it hit me. It was the teddy bear my girl had pressed tightly to her chest.

My MIL, Gloria gave it to Sophia for her 2nd birthday.

In the morning, I called Gloria on the phone, demanding answers.

“Gloria, why did you do it?” I asked her.

“Did what, Kelly?” she asked back.

“The teddy bear, and Jeremy’s voice. I taught I was losing my mind, that I was going crazy. I even though my husband could be alive.”

Gloria said that every time Sophia asked about her dad, her heart broke. So, she decided to take a recording from our wedding video and have it sewn into the teddy bear.

“‘I love you forever,’ those were his wedding wows to you, Kelly,” Gloria said.

I knew Gloria meant the best, but I felt overwhelmed. However, I wasn’t angry or mad.

That evening, as Sophia went to sleep, I took the teddy bear and pressed it over and over again, listening to the sweet voice of my husband.

I knew he was looking at us from above.

Moments before my wedding, I learned the truth – So, I ran

Moments before I was about to have my dream wedding and walk down the aisle, I learned the truth about the man I believed was my always and forever.

Grant and I met in high school, and we were those high school sweethearts films are made about.

After three years of dating, he proposed, and that’s when I felt like every piece of the puzzle called life fell into place.

The next thing was planning our wedding.

I was overly excited and wanted everything to be just perfect – from the venue, to the wedding gown to the menu.

No wedding planners, just me, my imagination, and a childhood dream come true.

When the big day finally arrived, I was overjoyed. Everything I had always dreamed of was now my reality – until the real reality struck.

My friend, Lila, called my name, worry written all over her face.

My heart sank even before she was able to utter anything. “What’s wrong?” I asked.

Without saying a word, she handed me her phone. There was a photo of Grant there, kissing another woman. The worst thing of all, it was all over the social media after someone shared it on Reddit with the caption, “Someone’s fiance is kissing a woman, and it’s not the bride.”

It was taken two days prior, on Grant’s bachelor’s party.

“What are you going to do?” Lila asked me. “Are you ready to go on with the wedding?”

I loved Grant so much that I couldn’t live with the knowledge that he had been with someone else just before he was about to marry me.

“Lila, I’m sorry, but I can’t do this,” I said as I handed her the bouquet and left the church before I even entered it.

I had no idea where to go or what to do.

As I was walking down the highway, I could feel the stares of the drivers who were wondering why would bride leave her own wedding.

And then, at one moment, I heard a loud honking and someone yelling my name. “Sadie, Sadie, is that you?”

The car stopped and that’s when I saw Ethan, Grant’s older brother.

Ethan was the black sheep in the family. No one really ever liked him or understood him.

“Where are you going, Sadie,” he asked me. “Aren’t you marrying my brother today?”

I just said, “No,” and entered his car, asking him to drive me away.

But that wasn’t what Ethan did. Instead, he turned the car around and headed towards the chuch.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“You know, both you and my jerk of a brother deserve a clean closure. You need to confront him and start over if that’s what you really want.”

Midjourney

By the time we returned to the church, most of the guests had already left.

Grant was surrounded by his friends and family who comforted him.

When he saw me, he rushed towards me. “Sadie, where have you been?” he asked, looking worried.

“Grant, I saw the photo. You and that other woman.”

He tried to explain that it was all a huge misunderstanding and that he never meant to cheat on me, but he was drunk.

But I didn’t care about his excuses. The damage was done.

Grant then turned to his brother, Ethan, and asked him if he had anything to do with me leaving him at the altar.

They even started arguing, but I didn’t have the strength to listen. I went home, took the gown off, and promised myself not to trust anyone unconditionally ever again.

I cut every contact with Grant, but his brother was a different story.

Ethan and I remained good friends. He provided me with the support I have always needed. What’s most, I invested the many I had been saving for a house and my honeymoon into his farm and we became business partners.

Somehow, a year after I left my own wedding, life felt good again.

A Surprising Revelation: How Kai Trump Coped With Her Grandfather’s Shooting

I was beyond intrigued when I learned about Kai Trump’s response after her grandfather was shot—it wasn’t at all what I expected from a 17-year-old in such a high-profile family. Sure, the Trump name carries a certain weight in the public eye, but there’s more depth to this teenager’s journey than you might think. Through golf, a tight-knit bond, and a unique upbringing, Kai has managed to forge her own path, even in the face of sudden tragedy.

Early Arrival, Big Personality

Kai Madison Trump entered the world on May 12, 2007, as the first grandchild of Donald Trump. Born two weeks early—while her mother, Vanessa, was at a charity event—Kai seemed destined to make an entrance in a grand way. Her father, Donald Trump Jr., beamed from the hospital, and even the then-future president admitted he was warming up to the idea of being a grandfather.

Keeping Low-Key… for a While

For much of her childhood, Kai stayed out of the public spotlight. Rare glimpses of her would appear at events like the Mar-a-Lago Club’s Grand Prix. Then 2016 rolled around, and the entire Trump family was thrust onto the campaign stage. Even so, Kai maintained a low profile that year. But everything changed by 2024, when she publicly congratulated her grandfather’s second shot at the White House. Suddenly, people noticed her—a lot.

A Passion for Golf

One thing that sets Kai apart is her fierce love of golf. As she’s grown older, it’s become clear she’s not just playing for fun. She attends The Benjamin School in Florida, known for churning out golf prodigies, and even snagged a ladies’ club championship at Trump’s West Palm Beach course. With her grandfather as a frequent golf partner—and occasionally her fiercest competition—Kai has emerged as a force on the green.

When Donald Trump was injured, the media frenzy exploded. But the story that struck me was actually Kai Trump’s response after her grandfather was shot. She didn’t retreat or shy away from public events. Instead, she stepped onto the stage at the Republican National Convention, claiming she wanted to share “who he really is” with the world. It was an unexpectedly heartfelt speech, revealing a genuine bond and a teenage granddaughter’s pride in her “normal grandpa” who sneaks her candy and soda.

A Deeply Personal Moment

According to Kai, their time together right after the shooting was extremely emotional. In her words, both she and Donald teared up while reconnecting. She described it as a moment she’ll carry with her forever. The more I read, the clearer it became: Kai Trump’s response after her grandfather was shot wasn’t just about loyalty. It was also about a very real family connection that many outsiders overlook.

Eyes on the Future

At just 17, Kai is juggling both her emerging public persona and a dream of becoming a pro golfer. She’s already committed to the University of Miami’s women’s golf team, a major step toward elevating her game. She took a moment to thank her grandfather for giving her access to amazing courses, and even joked about how competitive he can be when they face off. I can only imagine the intensity on those fairways.

Staying Grounded

While you might assume a Trump grandchild would be swept up in headlines and controversy, Kai insists that her last name doesn’t define her. In fact, many folks are pleasantly surprised by her down-to-earth attitude and genuine politeness, especially considering the high-octane world she’s grown up in. Looking at pictures of them together, I see the type of closeness that might not be so obvious to the rest of us.

I kept returning to Kai Trump’s response after her grandfather was shot because it highlights how she handles stress and public scrutiny with a maturity well beyond her years. She’s got big ambitions, a supportive (if sometimes larger-than-life) family, and a willingness to carve her own path—no easy feat when you share the Trump surname.
