Melania Trump is one of those people who is simply captivating. From the moment she started her modeling career in the US, she has attracted the attention of many, and becoming the wife of one of the most influential business moguls, Donald Trump, has only heightened her presence on the world stage.

The First Lady’s elegance, poise, and distinctive style have made her a constant figure in the public eye, admired by many for her grace and sophistication.

Many agree that Melania Trump is an intriguing person, and her new official portrait — released a day after her husband was sworn president for the second time — proved that to be true yet again.

The portrait was shot at the White House, showing the former model wearing a dark business suit and white shirt as she rests her hands on a reflective table in the Yellow Oval Room.

Through the White House’s opulent windows, the Washington Monument rises in the background, adding historical weight to the image.

The portrait was captured by Belgian photographer Régine Mahaux, who has been photographing the Trump family for over two decades. She also took Mrs. Trump’s official portrait back in 2017, during her husband’s first term in office.

“I was really honoured to be chosen to shoot this official portrait for the second time,” Ms Mahaux told the BBC.

“As an artist to work with such an inspiring woman is a great privilege. She is a perfectionist and is really involved in the creative process.”

The portrait triggered mixed reaction, with some agreeing that Melania looks as stunning as ever, and others criticizing her pose and even choice of outfit.

“I swear she’s looking more and more like her husband,” one person commented. “Why am I seeing a Donald Trump hard eye glare??” another questioned.

A third remarked, “She looks like a female version of her husband.”

“Why does she pose like she’s the president? SHE IS NOT THE PRESIDENT 💀,” wrote one user.

As expected, there were those who found the portrait beautiful and classy.

“The choice of black and white highlights a timeless, classic strength. She chose to shoot in front of the Washington Monument. I wonder if she plans to be more active in Trump’s second term,” noted another user.

Melania has consistently shaped her public image with precision, keeping herself apart from day-to-day politics while stepping forward at carefully chosen moments. Her latest portrait underscores that balance — style used as a statement, presence as power.
