In recent years, dating has been taken to a whole new level. The reason why is the advancement of technology and the emergence of plenty of dating sites most people heavily rely on in the pursuit of true love.

However, as much as dating sites offer easy matching with people we have never met in person before, they also hide the dangers of stumbling upon suspicious people that represent themselves in a completely different light than they actually are.
There have been times when people who started talking and bonded with the help of a dating app experience a total shock when they meet in person.

A woman named Jocelyn shared her experience with someone she met on the dating site Bumble.
According to Bumble’s description, “women always make the first move,” so when she was matched with a man named Myles whom she found attractive, she decided to message him through the app.
After some time, Jocelyn agreed to give Myles her phone number so that he could text her and arrange the two to meet up for dinner.

However, once she received some text messages from him, she knew something was off, and it didn’t have to do with anything he wrote. Namely, she noticed that Myles’ texts were in green, which happens when someone texts an iPhone user with a device that is an Android or such. If he was texting from an iPhone, the message bubbles would be blue. This wouldn’t seem odd at all if she didn’t notice Myles was wearing an Apple watch on the photos he had on the dating app.
According to Apple, “you need an iPhone 6s or later” in order to use an Apple watch, and since Myles had that watch but wasn’t using one, Jocelyn assumed the photos he posted could be of someone else, not Myles’.
In the video below that she posted on TikTok, Jocelyn explained what she found out when she ran an image search on Google.
It was in October 2012 when the lives of the Specht family were profoundly affected by a tragedy.
Richard Specht, a middle school teacher, asked one of his friends to watch his 22-month-old son Reese. The friend agreed, but sadly, the little one somehow managed to get out of the house and head towards the backyard pond where he drowned. In the midst of grief and inability to accept the reality that their son lost his life, the family lost their house just 24 hours later when hurricane Sandy struck.
This family’s world was crushed into a million pieces, but their friends, family, and neighbors were there to offer help and support.
Once they managed to stand on their feet again, they tried to pay their friends and relatives back, but they didn’t want the money so the Specht family decided to set up the ReesSpecht Life Foundation whose goal is to make the world a better place by emphasizing the importance of community, respect, and compassion.
The foundation issued hundreds of thousands of cards reading “Pay it Forward” and distributed them around the country in honor of little Reese who tragically lost his life.
The idea behind these cards was for the cardholder do an act of kindness and then pass the card forward creating an unbreakable chain of compassion passed forward.
Years after the tragic incident, one man decided to show his kindness in a beautiful way and honor the passing of Reese, whom he never knew or met.
While at a restaurant in New York’s Times Square, he decided to leave a generous tip to the waitress. On his bill, which was just $43.50, he tipped $3,000 and wrote down three requests for the waitress.
When she saw the tip, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
The message the man left read:
Thank you for your kindness and humility. My teacher in middle school had such a difficult experience a few years ago, which has sparked me to do this. My only requirements are:
1.) Go to ReesSpechtLife.com and learn!
2.) Don’t let “Pay it forward” end with you.
3.) Since it’s about the idea and not about you, or me, if you decide to share this, don’t use either of our names!

The waitress was eager to learn more of the foundation and that is how she got into touch with Richard Specht. She felt that he would like to know that even though many years have passed, there was still someone who did something touchingly beautiful in his late son’s honor.
She sent him an email and attached the man’s receipt and his message to her.
“My mouth sat agape as a pictured attached to her reply that showed a restaurant receipt with a $3,000 tip on it. I literally did a double, even triple take,” Richard wrote in a blog post. “In staring at that receipt I never noticed the name and it wasn’t until I read the note did I realize that it was a former student of mine. I immediately recalled who he was and realized that I had him at least ten years ago… To think that someone I had a decade ago would honor my little boy, or even remember his eighth-grade science teacher in such a way, blows me away.”
This story is a beautiful reminder that the kindness we offer is one of the most powerful things that makes this world go round.

The cancer diagnosis of Catherine, Princess of Wales came as a huge shock for her and her family, as well as the people of Britain and everyone who adores the royal family.
During the hard times she has been going through and the diagnosis she needed to face, Kate and William tried to protect their three children as much as possible.
Experts believe that the timing Kate chose to post the video in which she opened up of her health state, Friday, 6 pm, wasn’t a coincidence. In fact, the reason was believed to be that their children’s school had closed by that time and they wouldn’t immediately face questions about it from their friends.
“George is ten now and can’t be shielded from any of this now,” a palace source told the Times. “Once it’s at the school gate and in the school playground, he won’t be able to avoid it.”
According to King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold, Kate and William chose a different approach for each of the children when they shared the news of her cancer with them. He believes that the couple most likely “sugarcoated” her health issues when they broke the news to Prince Louis.
“I’m sure it was a very difficult and very different conversation between children,” Grant Harrold told the NY Post. “For instance, for Louis, I’m sure the conversation was more sugarcoated than it was with George and Charlotte.”
The former butler continued, “The older children can understand more, so I’d imagine it was a little more frank but undoubtedly staying positive, which is so important.
“That’s why when you now look at the picture of Kate with her three children, it brings a tear to your eye. For any mother to have that conversation is huge and you can imagine Charlotte and George are going to be good supports for her.”
He added that Louis is too young to understand her mom’s condition.
“It’s a tricky one. I’m sure the children will be handling it as any kids would be expected to handle it, but I think their parents are very good at being calm and collected, and I think that will rub off on the children,” he told the NY Post.

During Easter break, the children will spend their time at Anmer Hall at the Sandringham Estate with their parents where they would have fun egg hunting.
As Sandringham is also one of King Charles’ favorite places, it is certain that he and Camilla have spent some time with Kate and William there.
While Charles receives treatments for his cancer in London, it is his dear wife that fulfills most of the royal duties, and it is safe to say that she’s been greatly praised for that.
Speaking of the current role Queen Camilla has taken upon herself, royal expert Angela Levin said Camilla is “holding the royal family up.”

Although it is known that Camilla doesn’t want to be under the spotlight, she’s doing an excellent job while meeting with the public.

Not only Camilla steps in for her husband, but she’s also very supportive of Kate Middleton, especially during the time she was away from the public following her planned abdominal surgery.
The Telegraph’s associate editor, Camilla Tominey, claimed that the queen “has been trying to help [Catherine] through the media storm aspect in all of this.”
Tominey said, “I think before [Catherine] made the announcement because she was having to cope with the fallout of everything that was said about the Mother’s Day photo and everything else, I think Camilla lent some support.”
“Because let’s be honest, [Camilla] knows what it’s like to have a difficult press. She knows what it’s like to shepherd children through a media storm,” she added.

So far, no member of the Firm has spoken about Kate or her cancer, but a few days ago, Queen Camilla “broke” her silence while visiting Shrewsbury, where she met many royal fans at a farmer’s market. While there, two young girls handed Camilla a sign decorated a flower and a heart which read, “Send our love to Kate.”
Camilla posed with the sign, and allegedly told the girls, “I know that Catherine is thrilled by all the kind wishes and support,” as per royal expert Rebecca English.

Alesia Cooper, a mother from Irving, Texas, shared a photo of some chicken breasts she bought because the moment she started preparing dinner the chicken shred into strands, looking like spaghetti, and she hoped someone could tell her what was wrong.
“I been debating on posting this but since I had to see it so do yall,” she wrote under the photo she posted online on March 21.
“I was cooking my kids dinner a couple of weeks ago and was cleaning my meat like I normally do and when I went back to start cooking it turned into this (SIC).” Cooper explained.
Stating that the meat was bought from the budget supermarket Aldi, Cooper further wrote, “lol I think it’s that fake meat but I’m not sure anyways…I ain’t made chicken off the bone since.”
As expected, the photo was commented on by people who raised their concerns and shared their theories.
“That’s lab grown chicken, it’s a new way they make chicken because of the last few years with the bird flu and resource shortages they didn’t have produce so last year they announced that they found a way to make chicken in a lab and that’s what’s in stores now,” one person wrote.
“Fake i don’t buy it anymore,” another commented.
“It’s not lab-grown meat or 3D printed meat. It comes from real chickens. The problem is when greedy chicken producers force-feed their chickens growth hormones so they grow way too fast,” someone else added.
As reported by Wall Street, the chicken breast look like this, or take a spaghetti like look, when breeders feed chicken chemicals in order to make them grow bigger.
“There is proof that these abnormalities are associated with fast-growing birds,” said Dr. Massimiliano Petracci, an agriculture and food science professor at the University of Bologna in Italy.
Back in the day, it would take chicken to reach 2.5 pounds market weight in 112 days, and in recent years, chickens reach the market weight of 5.03 pounds in average in 47 days.
“If people keep eating more and more chicken, chickens will probably have to get even bigger…We’ll have to increase the proportion of breast meat in each bird, too.” said Dr. Michael Lilburn, a professor at Ohio State University’s Poultry Research Center.
“What people don’t realize is that it’s consumer demand that’s forcing the industry to adjust,” Lilburn said of the increased consumption of various chicken products such as chicken nuggets, wings, and sandwiches.
“It’s a deceivingly small but vocal minority that are raising a lot of legitimate questions. The bulk of the U.S. population still doesn’t care where their food comes from, as long as its cheap,” Liburn added.

The complexity of family ties sometimes leads to issues that are hard to handle.
A man named Mark shared his life story on Reddit asking if he was in the wrong for refusing to walk his daughter down the aisle on her special day.
After years of believing that Alice was his daughter, Mark learned that his wife, Clare, cheated on him some 18 years ago and that her then lover, James, was the biological father of Alice. This shattered Mark’s life into a million pieces.
Unable to cope with the thought of his wife’s betrayal, he decided to divorce her. This revelation, however, never changed his feelings towards Alice. She was still his daughter and the person he loved the most. In fact, his entire life revolved around her happiness and her well-being.
Sadly, after learning the truth about her biological father, Alice started resenting Mark for no reason. She somehow blamed him for not revealing the truth to her earlier, although he himself wasn’t aware of it until then.
All of a sudden, Alice wanted to meet her biological father and wanted him to be part of her life, leaving Mark behind. She never took into account all the years of love and attention Mark gave her as a father when she made the decision to cut him off her life.
Mark was devastated. He tried contacting Alice multiple times, but she never cared to pick up the phone, and that one time she did, she told him to stay away from her because she was now living with her mother and her real father.
One day, Mark got a call from the college Alice attended. They were worried for her academic progress. Mark was determined to try to get into contact with his daughter again in order to learn why she was falling behind and offer her some help.
“Don’t call me again or I’ll report you to the cops!” she told him, ready to hung up on him.
“Alice, please wait. I swear I won’t call you again, but this time it’s not about me. It has to do with your academics,” Mark said.
“Oh my god! Are you sick of acting like a daddy? How long can you act like that, seriously?” she answered.
“But honey, I was actually worried about you,” Mark told her.
“Mark, that’s enough!” was Alice’s reply. “If you do this again, or even look for me, you know what the next step will be!”
Did she really call him by his name? When did he stop being her dad? Mark was devastated and decided not to call Alice ever again although his heart ached and he loved her more than anything.
Some years passed by, and out of the blue, Mark received a text message. It was from Alice. He started shaking and was short of breath. He dreamed of this moment for so many years. He honestly believed that she wrote him in order to apologize and he was ready to forget everything and welcome her in his life again. But sadly, that wasn’t was Alice wanted.
“Hi Dad, this is Alice,” she started her text. “I am about to get married soon and I want you to walk me down the aisle.
“I understand our relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing, but I really need your help. Adam, my fiancé, has been my only support system since my father passed away two years ago.”
Alice explained that the reason why she needed Mark to be there on her wedding day was because her future mother-in-law told her so. In fact, the mother-in-law was coming from a family in which they were all very close with one another, and she wanted her son to marry someone like that, who respected tradition and family values, otherwise, she wouldn’t approve of the wedding.
So, Alice wasn’t the one who wanted Mark there, she just wanted him to save her relationship and her big day.
She then demanded that Mark forgets everything that had happened between them years ago because he was the one to be blamed for their failed relationship.
Mark couldn’t believe that even after all those years, Alice was still unaware that what happened after he and her mother divorced was her fault only. She only cared about her wedding, and that was it.
After giving it some thought, Mark refused to walk Alice down the aisle.
Some of his friends believed he did the wrong thing, but he knew he wasn’t welcome to that wedding, it was just a way for Alice to present a happy family in front of her mother-in-law.

Even half a millennium after his death, Nostradamus remains history’s most famous astrologer. This French apothecary, physician, and reputed seer, among the rest, is best known for his book Les Prophéties, a collection of 942 poetic quatrains allegedly predicting future events.
His quatrains have been re-read and re-interpreted for many, many years, as many believe that most of his predictions did come true.
It is said that he predicted the Great Fire of London, Hitler’s rise to power, both World Wars, and the nuclear destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those interested in his work, which was written in a combination of Greek, Italian, Latin, and Provençal, believe he also predicted the September 11 terrorist attacks and even COVID-19.

Over the years, it was determined that his predictions were real to a great extent, and sadly, what he wrote about the year 2024 is not bright.
Environmental Disaster
The Frenchman described the year 2024 as a catastrophic for the environment. He predicted a complete disarray and painted a photo of floods and the Earth drying out due to the disastrous ecological imbalances.
A “very great famine through pestiferous wave” could refer to devastating floods that wipe off crops, spread diseases, and cause mass starvation, rather than plain floods.
If these visions are accurate, we may be in for even more disastrous climate events this years than most of us fear.

Conflict between Chinese and Russian Navy
It has been written by many journalists, economists and geopolitical experts, that China’s position in the world would soon change as they would raise as a global power. According to many, if this happens, it may lead to a Cold War between China and the States.
In one of his quatrain which opens with a vision of ‘combat and naval battle’, Nostradamus writes that the ‘Red adversary will become pale with fear / Putting the great Ocean in dread.’
As per many experts, ‘red adversary‘ is a reference to communist China and the rest of the quatrain refers to a confrontation at sea, which might have far-reaching consequences for world peace.

The French astrologer made plenty of predictions about the royals that turned out to be true. Among the rest, he predicted the death of Henry II. In a quatrain, Nostradamus wrote, “the young lion will overcome the older one,” and that he will “pierce his eyes through a golden cage,” and that “two wounds” will ensure a “cruel death.”

Henry II was pierced into his eye and skull during a joust with one of his young soldiers when the soldier’s lance shattered. He then died from a slow and painful death from sepsis.
The death of Queen Elizabeth II was also predicted by the famous prophet, and he was said to have guessed her exact age at the time of her death.
For the year 2024, Nostradamus refers to someone he calls the “King of the Isles,” who has had a controversial divorce and who is “driven out by force.” He wrote the King would be replaced by “one who will have no mark of a king.”
A new Pope
“Through the death of the very old Pontiff / A Roman of good age will be elected,” Nostradamus wrote.
Many believe that there indeed could be a change happening considering Pope Francis’ advanced age and health issues in recent times. According to his writing, the incoming pope will ‘weaken his see’ and continue in office for a some time.

One possible interpretation of “weakening” is that the church’s leadership, under the next pope, will lead to a reduction in its influence and integrity.
Living in the year of 2024,we are yet to witness if any of the prophecies of the great Nostradamus would come true.

In order to make her days a little bit brighter and put a smile on her face, Tiffany, the owner of Wigs By Tiffani in New Orleans, decided to make a trendy wig for Klara.
The video of the moment the sweet girl sees herself with the wig is beyond precious. Luckily, it was picked up by GlobalPositiveNews and shared on the social media. So far, it has been seen by over 3 million people.
It shows the moment Tiffany puts the wig on Klara’s head, while her family waits with excitement. Tiffany tells Klara to close her eyes before the big reveal.
The initial shock of her new appearance turns into one of the cutest smiles we’ve ever seen.

Mark Cropp, a young man from New Zealand, made a decision that impacted his entire life during a night while serving a two-year, three-month sentence for a botched drug deal.
While highly intoxicated on homemade alcohol made from fermented apples, bread, and sugar, he and his brother decided to tattoo Mark’s face using a makeshift ink that was made from toothpaste and melted plastic knives and forks.
Sadly, the night ended with Mark having the word ‘Devast8’ tattooed all over his face, including his jaw and lower face.
This stupid decision affected his life in a negative way once he was released from prison. Eager to start his life over, he was determined to find a job and provide for his wife and daughter. He also wanted to become a respectable member of the society and leave his old way of life behind, but that turned out to be way more difficult than he ever anticipated.
Despite his work experience, no one wanted to hire Mark, and the reason why wasn’t his criminal record but the huge tattoo on his face.

Speaking to the Daily Mail Australia, this hopeless man shared the story behind his tattoo.
“You know there was a long time there where I would devastate everything I touched. I would end up devastating everyone I met or got close to,” he said.
“They would be disappointed with something I had done or said – I was always hearing ‘that’s devastating.’ Once it was started, I thought, I can’t go back on it now. I wish I had stopped while the outline was there to be quite honest. Before I knew it I had this on my face… It was swollen like a bloody pumpkin,” he added.
Willing to do all it takes to get rid of the awful “art”on his face, he sought help from professional who could help him remove it, but no one wanted to step in. Laser removal was way too expensive and there was no way that Mark could afford it, so he decided to turn to social media users.
In a post shared on Facebook, Mark showed his tattoo asking for a job and a chance to start his life over.
The attention his post gathered showed the power of the Internet.
In no time, his plea was shared multiple times, and it caught the attention of the staff at Sacred Tattoo, an Auckland-based tattoo parlor.
Luckily, they offered to remove his tattoo for free, showing their kindness yet again as they’ve been known as people committed to their community.
Following the tattoo removal, Mark was able to land a job at scaffolding company PR Contracting, earning $22 an hour.

When someone knocked on Jessica Penoyer’s door, the last person she expected to see was her five-year-old neighbor. He appeared to be carrying a doll in his arms, but a few seconds later, Jessica realized it wasn’t a doll, but his baby sister.
The boy, Salvatore Cicalese, said that his mother was dead at the shower. He then explained that he grabbed a stool and took it to the garage door in order to be able to be able to climb up and flick the switch. Doing that, he added that he tumbled off it once before succeeding on his second attempt.

Hearing all this, disturbed Jessica rushed to the phone and called a police. Soon after, emergency services were able to enter Salvatore’s home. They went straight to the bathroom where they saw the boy’s mother passed out in the tub. Had it not been for Salvatore, his mother would have drowned. It was his quick thinking that helped save her life.

Once she was given medical assistance, the mother, Kaitlyn Cicalese, started feeling better.
She explained that she suffered a seizure and soon lost consciousness. She also added that after the incident, Salvatore won’t stop asking her if she would be okay. He wonders if she is going to suffer another seizure and if she’s sure that she won’t die any time soon. Kaitlyn assures him that nothing like that would happen, but in case she does suffer a seizure, at least she knows her boy would know what to do.

The last couple of months have been tough for the British royalty. Following King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, it was revealed that Catherine, Princess of Wales, was also diagnosed with cancer.
This announcement came after a period of speculations regarding her health and her whereabouts, considering the fact that the Palace hadn’t issued any statements nor the Princess was seen in public.
The only statement the Palace issued regarding Kate’s health condition was that she would be taking her time to recuperate following her surgery and won’t be returning to her royal duties until Easter. Later, they issued another statement assuring the public that the Princess was doing well. This, however, wasn’t enough evidence that Kate was indeed in good health since no one had seen her after a surgery until TMZ shared a photo of her.
On Mother’s Day, Kate posted an image of herself and her three children, but the photo was soon determined to be edited which led news agencies to “kill” it, or issue “kill notices,” which are advisory notices to remove or not use a specific photo.
Eventually, Kate Middleton put a stop to the speculations when she disclosed with the public the news of her cancer diagnosis.

In the video she posted, Kate explained that it was following her surgery that doctors noticed the presence of cancer after running tests.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,” she said. Kate further video detailed that tests following her ‘planned’ abdominal surgery revealed the presence of cancer.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” said the statement. “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
Kate said that she and her husband ask for privacy.
As messages and comments of well-wished came pouring it, it was reported that Harry and Meghan reached out to Kate, both after her surgery and after her cancer diagnosis.
“The King and the Princess of Wales have received support from Prince Harry and Meghan regarding their health,” a source told The Mirror. “The Duke and Duchess contacted both parties in different ways to pass on their concern and best wishes.”

Weeks later, after Kate posted the video, Meghan contacted the princess, hoping it would be the first step to ending the feud, as per the US Weekly.
Another source said that Meghan has been very “supportive” of the idea her husband reconciles with his family.
However, sources say that William is not interested in mending things with his younger brother.
Some believe that Meghan is now taking advantage of the situation surrounding Kate and it all started amidst the scandal with the Mother’s Day photo when Kate and the Palace were accused of manipulating with the photo, while Meghan launched her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard just two days later.
The Instagram page’s bio reads: “By Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. Established 2024,” with a link to the lifestyle brand’s website.
The promotional video shows Meghan cooking in a kitchen and picking flowers. The fact that she released the video and promoted her business mere days after Kate’s Mother’s Day photo scandal didn’t sit well with everyone.

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield accused Meghan Markle of taking advantage of Kate’s situation, mainly from a “marketing perspective.”
He added that the Duchess of Sussex would “not be enjoying” seeing the consequences of the Mother’s Day picture scandal.
“Even CNN, which has been notoriously critical of the monarchy, cited Meghan’s launch as being suspicious and ill timed, while noting that Catherine is about three times more popular than Meghan,” the royal expert said when speaking with GB News’ host Mark Dolan.
“I don’t know if she’s relishing in it, but I do know that it’s clear she’s taken advantage of it.”
GB News host Mark Dolan added that Meghan is “entitled” to launch a brand “whenever she likes.” He concluded that Harry and Meghan indeed “would challenge the idea” that the Duchess took advantage of Kate’s situation, claiming that the timing was coincidental.
A per The Times, Harry and Meghan learned of Kate’s diagnosis from the video, at the same time with the public.
In the public statement they released, the Sussexes wrote, “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

Speaking to People, a person close to the royals said the Sussexes weren’t informed of Kate’s condition beforehand because clearly there is “clearly no trust.”
“They are aware of everything that goes on back in England, but are being left out of any details regarding Kate,” the source told People. “There is clearly no trust.”
Another source told the New York Post: “This goes to show the irreparable damage they have caused. The trust has been broken and the royal family is OK distancing themselves from them.”
Royal historian Richard Fitzwilliams believes that the current situation only shows the true damage of the broken relationship between Harry and William.
“There’s a deep rift between the brothers – that we know,” he told The Sun.
“We also know that they haven’t apparently spoken in many months, and the reason, of course, is that for some four years, they’ve caused endless problems to the royal family, and so they can’t be trusted. William hasn’t trusted Harry and Meghan, and I mean with good reason.”
Fitzwilliams added: “We know with Oprah, the Harry and Meghan programme for Netflix, Harry’s book Spare, and then with the interviews surrounding his book there was no reason to monetise their links with the royal family. The trouble is that’s the only thing that appears to have made a lot of money for them. That raises other questions as to what they’ll be doing in the future.”

In the period that follows, Kate would be focused on her health and her children. The family would spend the three-week holiday the children are on at Anmer Hall in Sandringham, the place where Kate feels most like home.
Allegedly neither she nor William have any plans of reconciliation with Harry and Meghan when Harry is expected to visit Britain in May. According to Tom Quinn, the possible meeting between the brother would be “very brief.”
“Given Kate’s cancer diagnosis, Harry will certainly make efforts to see his brother and Kate when he returns to the UK in May – if it happens at all it’s to be a very brief carefully choreographed meeting and organised to last a short time so that the brothers can avoid any difficult conversations,” Quinn said.
He added: “At the same time Harry knows how it will look if he comes back to the UK and doesn’t see his brother and Kate. It’s going to be a very awkward time.”

Somehow, everyone assumes that it is the grandparents’ responsibility to take care of their grandchildren while their parents are out of the house. And, while most grandparents are more than happy to step up and spend some quality time with the little ones, parents sometimes take advantage of them and give them too many responsibilities around the children.
A grandmother took to Reddit to discuss a rather sensitive issue.
It turned out that after four years of being a stay-at-home mom, her daughter-in-law has finally secured a well-paid job. The problem arouse when she failed to find a suitable babysitter for her two children. In an attempt to solve this issue, she turned to her mother-in-law and asked her if she could temporarily take care of the kids. It was for just a week time.
The grandmother said she couldn’t. However, she stated the reasons behind her decision.

Allegedly, her daughter-in-law was overly demanding.
She asked from the woman to prepare vegetarian food for the children without providing for it. Further, the kids weren’t allowed to spend any time in front of the TV and the grandma was asked to keep them active and entertained at all times. The daughter-in-law even demanded that the grandma comes with educational worksheets for her older child who is four years old.
On top of that, she said she didn’t want the grandma’s friends over. The grandma wrote that this would affect her daily interactions with her friends.
When her son called her and asked her to take care of the kids, the woman explained that she didn’t want to because his wife was demanding and unreasonable.
The grandma added that she didn’t mind babysitting her other son’s children.

The responses on her post were mixed.
“I’m so sick of people treating grandparents like free childcare. They’re just kids and it’s okay if the rules slide for a week…that’s why kids love going to their grandparents!! I think you should make it clear that you’d absolutely love to take them if DIL is willing to compromise but if she won’t budge then that’s not on you she can find someone else to be a boot camp instructor,” someone wrote.
Some were more critical of the grandmother, saying: “I thought you were going to say you’ve been asked to look after them full time but you’ve been asked to help for a WEEK. Yes ok the rules are a bit much but you’d rather your DIL not get this job to support the family because it would inconvenience you for 5 whole days. Do the right thing and help your son and DIL out.”

Jen and her husband, a couple in their 70s, were about to attend the wedding of their youngest granddaughter Eloise. Having four other grandchildren who were all married already, Jen and her husband were looking forward to attending the special day of Eloise. As per tradition, that no one was really aware of except their grandchildren who tied the knot in the years before, the couple purchased the cheapest item from the registry list and were about to hand the bride a check on $40,000.
Not being aware of this tradition, Eloise got really mad when she realized her grandparents bought her the cheapest item on their register list, an air fryer. She was quick to call them and slam them for their poor choice of gift.
“Seriously, Grandma? I just got your gift. An air fryer? That’s the cheapest thing you could find on my registry!” She said after calling her grandma on the phone.
Jen, not wanting to spoil the surprise and reveal the real gift, told her granddaughter that the item was indeed a very useful one.
“Useful? Come on, you know you can do better than that. Everyone knows you have the money. I just can’t believe you’d be this cheap with me. It’s embarrassing,” Eloise responded, visibly disturbed.
“Yes, you’re right. We are cheap, old, and useless. The only thing you DIDN’T know is that the day before the wedding, we were going to gift you a check for $40,000,” Jen revealed, but Eloise didn’t want to listen to her.
“No, it’s clear. You just don’t love me enough to show it. You know how much pressure I’m under with the wedding. And then, this? It’s like you don’t even care,” the young woman said as she hung up the phone.
Jen talked to her husband and they both agreed Eloise didn’t deserve their money because of her behavior and ungratefulness.
A few days passed by and Eloise called her grandparents again.
“I just found out that it’s true you gave the money to everyone else when they got married. Why didn’t I get anything?” she asked.
“We felt after your reaction to the wedding gift, it wasn’t right to go ahead and gift you the money,” Jen responded.
“So, you’re punishing me? Is that it? Because I was upset about an air fryer?” Eloise pleaded.
“It wasn’t about the air fryer, Eloise. It was how you spoke to us, the disrespect. That’s not something we expected or can support,” Jen explained.
“But that’s so unfair! I was stressed, Grandma. Planning a wedding is hard, and I just snapped. I didn’t mean any of it,” Eloise said while crying.
“We understand that it’s a stressful time, but actions and words have consequences. We hoped you’d understand the value of family and love over material things,” her grandparents said with determination.
“But you don’t understand! Can’t we just forget all this happened? I need that money, Grandma,” Eloise kept pleading them.
Eloise then threatened she won’t be attending any family gatherings, including Christmas, but that didn’t change her grandparents’ mind.
“We love you very much. This has nothing to do with cutting you off. We just hope you’ll reflect on this and understand why we made our decision,” they told they granddaughter.

Fox News host Pete Hegseth recited a prayer from the Hallow app for Lent this past Sunday on “Fox & Friends” and not everyone is happy about that.
“We have more ‘Fox and Friends’ coming up, but you know what, this is a transition for transitions if you’ve ever had one,” he said as he laughed.
Weekend co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy then joined in saying, “So ‘Fox and Friends’” to pray on live TV.
“This is very ‘Fox and Friends,’” Hegseth concurred, “so ready your heart.”
“It’s the 5th Sunday of Lent, and our prayer series continues with the reading of prayer from the Hallow app,” the host went on. “We all need it, let’s do it this morning, close your eyes — if you would, bow your head.”

As he kept reading the prayer from the screen, co-hosts Campos-Duffy and Will Cain bowed their heads in respect.
“Jesus, today we begin the holy period of passion tide,” Hegseth read. “In these last 2 weeks of Lent, help us understand the mystery of your sacrifice and surrender, make us keenly aware of your love for us. We ask that you make yourself known to us, help us to feel the grace of your presence.”
He went on to thank Jesus for the “selfless love You showed on the cross.”

This isn’t the first time for a Fox host to be expressing their faith on live TV. In the past, host Kayleigh McEnany said, “I really believe he thinks God is leading the way — this will all get figured out,” referring to a segment concerning Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson.
“To everyone out there, pray for him as our speaker,” co-host Ainsley Earhardt added on the same episode of Johnson. “Our country really needs some guidance from God right now.”

Catherine, Princess of Wales, shared her cancer diagnosis with the world, putting a stop to the numerous rumors and speculations that had been circulating in the media ever since her planned abdominal surgery.
In the video she released, she explained that the cancer was detected following her surgery, when doctors ran tests. She further detailed that she and William needed time to share the news with their children before going public with the news.
Royal experts believe Kate released the video on Friday at 6 pm with a reason, and it’s because their children’s school had closed by that time and they wouldn’t immediately face questions about it from their friends.
“George is ten now and can’t be shielded from any of this now,” a palace source told the Times. “Once it’s at the school gate and in the school playground, he won’t be able to avoid it.”

According to King Charles’ former butler Grant Harrold, Kate and William chose a different approach for each of the children when they shared the news of her cancer with them. He believes that the couple most likely “sugarcoated” her health issues when they broke the news to Prince Louis.
“I’m sure it was a very difficult and very different conversation between children,” Grant Harrold told the NY Post. “For instance, for Louis, I’m sure the conversation was more sugarcoated than it was with George and Charlotte.”
The former butler continued, “The older children can understand more, so I’d imagine it was a little more frank but undoubtedly staying positive, which is so important.

The family won’t attend church on Easter Sunday, but King Charles and Queen Camilla likely will.
“It’s understood that King Charles may attend a church service on Easter Sunday with a smaller royal turnout if his health allows it,” Hello! Magazine’s royal expert, Danielle Stacey, said.
“Charles has minimized his contact with larger crowds to reduce risks as he continues his cancer treatment,” she continued. “While we’ve seen the King conduct small audiences at Buckingham Palace, he’s not attended any large-scale gatherings since his diagnosis, such as the reception for Korean War Veterans last week, the Commonwealth Day service and the memorial for the late King Constantine in Windsor last month.”
Anmer Hall, the country home in Norfolk, located around 110 miles outside of London, is said to be where the Princess of Wales feels “most at home.”
In the past, she said she is happiest “with my family outside in the countryside.”

When Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were still alive three years ago, it was reported that the children surprised them with “personalized Easter eggs, which they made and decorated themselves.” This year, grandpa Charles and step-grandma Camilla will likely receive such a cake.

When Kate Middleton underwent a planned abdominal surgery in mid-January, everyone hoped she heals well. However, things didn’t seem right when she was nowhere to be seen, with the Palace assuring the general public that the Princess was doing well.
Soon after, speculations and rumors started circulating around, and they only intensified after Kate posted a photo posing with her three children on the patio on Mother’s Day. The reason why, as we all know already, was that the photo was manipulated. This was quickly noticed by photoshop experts, but the truth is, one doesn’t need to be an expert to see that someone had edited the image before publishing.
Later, Kate posted on her social media that she was the one who edited the photo and while people praised her for confessing the truth, they slammed the Palace for not defending her.
On Friday, Kate put a stop to the rumors when she decided to address the public via a video in which she spoke of her health and revealed that after her abdominal surgery doctors ran tests that revealed the presence of cancer.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” Kate video detailed. “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
The Princess further detailed that it had taken her time to recover from the surgery and “to explain everything” to her children George, Charlotte and Louis.
“As you can imagine, this has taken time. It has taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment. But, most importantly, it has taken us time to explain everything to George, Charlotte and Louie in a way that’s appropriate for them and to reassure them that I’m going to be okay. As I said to them, I am well, and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that will help me heal. In my mind, body and spirits. Having William by my side is a great source of comfort.”

In the video, she asks for privacy during this difficult time for her and her family.
The Princess of Wales continued, “Having William by my side is a great source of comfort and reassurance too. As is the love, support and kindness that has been shown by so many of you. It means so much to us both. We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able — but for now, I must focus on making a full recovery.”
“At this time, I am also thinking of all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease, in whatever form, please do not lose faith or hope,” she concluded. “You are not alone.”

During Kate and Charles’ absence, it is their spouses who stepped in and took upon themselves to carry out royal duties.
Royal expert Angela Levin appeared on GB News, saying that Queen Camilla is “holding the royal family up.”
“I mean, to wait till you’re 73 is a long time before you can take the crown. I think obviously, at his age, it’s very difficult, but he’s very determined, and he’s only really just started to be king,” Levin said. “Supporting him very much, absolutely by his side, is Queen Camilla, who is going to all the engagements that they would have gone to together on her own.”
“And so that way he will feel it’s still moving, it’s still running, and they can discuss it and talk about it. And I think that’s marvelous. I mean, she is holding the Royal Family up and being strong. If you imagine 30 years ago, people were saying the whole Royal Family would absolutely disintegrate, and she would be of no use.”
Besides having revealed that she doesn’t want to be under the spotlight, Camilla is doing an excellent job and is very “accessible.”
“To support her husband. She understands him very well because they’ve been together for over 50 years, before they even got married. it’s a long time and they make each other laugh,” Angela Levin added. “They have the same sense of humor, they understand each other, and if you see them when they’re out, they move together. It’s very tandem.”

Today, it’s safe to say that Camilla is a much-appreciated member of the family, but both she and Kate once went through a media scrutiny.
For Kate, it was back in the day when her and William’s relationship went public, with the medial labeling as “Lazy Kate,” and “Waity Katie.”

In an interview with Today, The Telegraph’s associate editor, Camilla Tominey, claimed that the queen “has been trying to help [Catherine] through the media storm aspect in all of this.”

Tominey said, “I think before [Catherine] made the announcement because she was having to cope with the fallout of everything that was said about the Mother’s Day photo and everything else, I think Camilla lent some support.”

Once united, Prince William and Prince Harry are now far from the perfect picture of what a bond between two brothers should look like.
Their relationship became a rocky one ever since Harry and Meghan stepped down from the royal duties and started revealing information about the members of the Firm, accusing them among the rest of racism.
How deep the wounds of their broken relationship are is something we can never know for sure, but one thing seems certain, the bridges they burnt won’t likely be rebuilt in the near future as the anger between them is still hard to fade away.
Currently, the royal family is experiencing hard times as two working royals, the King himself, and Catherine the Princess of Wales are battling cancer.
After numerous speculations about her health and her whereabouts, Kate decided it was the time to put the stop to the rumors and open up of her condition, revealing she had cancer.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous,” she said in the video released on Friday.
Kate further video detailed that tests following her ‘planned’ abdominal surgery revealed the presence of cancer.
“My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment,” said the statement. “This of course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.”
But Kate is not alone. She has the support of her people, her family, and her friends, who all sent messages with well-wishes.
Among those who reached out to both Charles and Kate are the Sussexes. Following the announcement of Kate’s diagnosis, Harry and Meghan issued a formal statement, though it’s also now been said that the couple “reached out privately” as well.

Royal expert and author Tom Quinn said: “Harry and Meghan have been in contact with William, but their private message was simply one of sympathy and didn’t include any suggestion the brothers should make up and let bygones be bygones or that Harry should fly back to the UK soon.”
Quinn added that William’s response to his brother’s message was not in the “warm, informal” way two grown up siblings who have gone through so much together are expected to communicate.
“There is just too much ill-feeling for that. William, who is still hurt by everything Harry has said in the past, has responded, but the response is very much engineered by the palace and it’s hardly the kind of warm, informal response you would expect from one brother to another. It’s more like the sort of communication you would get between two slightly wary diplomats.”

Speaking of his past affiliation with Democrats, Musk wrote, “To be clear, my historical party affiliation has been Independent, with an actual voting history of entirely Democrat until this year.
“And I’m open to the idea of voting Democrat again in the future.
“Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President,” he later wrote after New York Times reporter Jonathan Swan shared a link to a report on former President Donald Trump’s recent meeting with Musk.

“I was at a breakfast at a friend’s place and Donald Trump came by, that’s it,” Musk said in an interview with former CNN host Don Lemon airing on March 18.
“I’m not paying his legal bills in any way, shape or form. And he did not ask me for money,” Musk added.

Hotel workers are one of those people who have literally seen it all. They deal with different people, some of which could be real “Karens,” but they manage to put up with them for the sake of keeping their jobs.
On top of that, they stumble upon shocking and disgusting stuff. Some hotel workers share their stories on Reddit. Read them below.
1. The Unused Toilet
As they were cleaning a guest room, these hotel workers noticed that the floor of the room was all covered in a bunch of rolled up towels. They immediately knew something was off. When they started collecting the towels, they noticed there were feces underneath them.
The smell was overpowering.
But this didn’t stop there. When they entered the bathroom, they noticed piles of feces mixed with urine at various places, including the shower, hidden behind the shower curtain.
What a messy situatation.
2. The Pizza Puzzle
While cleaning a room, a hotel worker found slices of pizza placed at different parts of the room. Some were smeared all over the TV, as though the guests were watching the cheesiest shows. Other slices were found in the dresser, on the nightstand, the sheets, and in the bathroom sink.
The most unexpected place, however, where the last peace was hidden was inside a lampshade.
It doesn’t come as a surprise that the workers were shocked by this “pizza” situation.
3. The Mouse
A couple was staying at a guesthouse but they constantly complained of strange noises and their clothes being nibbled on. As the owners of the place assured them the room was clean, the woman came with a live rat some time later which she threw at the reception desk.
She then demanded refund for her entire stay.
Suspecting foul play, the owners made sure there were no signs of rat infestations in the room and demanded the couple leave the place immediately.
The couple threatened to sue at first, but they later decided to simply do what they were told and fled the place.
4. Too Much Luggage
At a hotel, a couple checked in with an unusual number of suitcases, way too more than one needs for a few days vacation.
What the workers didn’t know, however, was that those suitcases were completely empty because the couple had a plan to steal everything from the room they stayed in, even the windows. Yes, you read that right!
When they checked out and the workers went inside the room to clean it, they were left in shock. Unfortunately, the couple was long gone and the workers lost their jobs.
5. Where’s the Bathroom?
A guest staying at an upscale hotel approached the worker asking for direction to the bathroom. However, they were in such a hurry that they approached the bell stand for directions.
No one assumed that this would lead to a messy situation.
Apparently, the guest was unaware they were suffering from a medical condition and as they walked downstairs, they left a trail of feces behind them, with every few steps revealing more.
Not only they made a mess in the hallway, but they also left the bathroom in a horribly unsanitary state.
The hotel management then blacklisted them despite their threats to leave a bed review for the hotel.
6. The Sleepwalker
At a small boutique hotel, a woman in distress went to the front desk explaining that her husband was sleepwalking and that he was nowhere to be found. She was certain that he entered someone else’s room while sleepwalking.
Not wanting to create fuss or face any potential embarrassing confrontations of checking people’s rooms, they checked the CCTV footage to track the husband’s whereabouts. Luckily, he was found sleeping in an empty room.
That day, the couple checked out but left behind a fun story to share.
7. The Silent Bachelor Party
Bachelor parties are usually loud and involve a lot of drinking. But not the one taking place at this particular hotel. A group of guys, including the groom, checked in but they were very silent, to the hotel workers’ surprise.
Some time later, the bride-to-be entered the hotel asking for her future husband, saying he had forgotten his phone at home.
When a worked and the future groom knocked at the door, they were shocked to see the men fully clothed in the bathtub, engaged in a bizarre toy boat “naval battle.”
Sadly, this led to the cancellation of the wedding.

After two years of dating, Sally and Richard knew it was the time to tie the knot. They were young, both 26 at the time, but they felt like they were meant for one another. Well, at least Sally thought so.
Shortly after their wedding, Richard vanished.
Being an orphan and having no family, Sally had no one to turn to in order to seek information. He didn’t leave any trace, and the only thing Sally could do was wait. She was in constant contact with the authorities, but they were unable to provide her with any answers.
Years have gone by, and Sally’s friends tried to convince her to start dating again, but Sally could never think of such a thing knowing her husband could return. Even the thought of quit waiting for her husband made her feel guilty.
Instead, Sally decided to focus solely on her career as an engineer, which required traveling around the country.
One Sunday morning, while she was away from her hometown, Sally decided to attend a service at a local church not knowing that she would receive yet another blow that would shake her world.
Once the service was over, Sally headed towards the exit but she was stopped by a familiar voice.
Her heart skipped a beat when she realized it was Richard’s. As he was exiting the church as well, he spotted Sally and their eyes met.
“Honey, are you okay? Are we coming?” the woman next to him said. “Okay, waiting for you in the car,” she added and left.
Richard walked towards Sally and whispered, “Not here. See me in an hour at Tom’s Cafe, River Street, 6.”
An hour later, Sally was waiting for him at the location, shocked and puzzled, seeking an explanation.
“I know you want an explanation. I definitely owe that to you,” Richard said.
It turned out that before meeting Sally, Richard dated a woman named Meghan. They were high-school sweethearts, but they eventually decided to break up, and that’s when Richard started dating Sally.
However, he never forgot his former love and decided to be together with her again, vanishing from Sally’s life and starting a new life with Meghan.
“You know that I didn’t remarry and waited for you all these years?” Sally said.
“What?? No… You couldn’t,” Richard said in disbelief.
“I did.”
“I’m sorry, Sally.”
Sally left the place. As much as this discovery was painful for her, she finally found a closure and decided to start her life over. Once home, she called Jake, the man her friends convinced her to start dating, and found love again.

One of the things I miss dearly during these months that the pandemic made hard for everyone are the weddings. Well, who doesn’t want to share the joy of two people who fell in love and decided to spend their lives forever?
I miss the music, the fun, and all the friends and relatives who gather together to celebrate the special occasion. However, until this madness is over, all we can do is turn to our memories and watch photos and videos of the days before we were forced to socially distance from one another.
The video below is just a nice reminder of all the things we took for granted before 2020 knocked on our doors.
What is very beautiful about this wedding video is that is shows the groom and his mom hitting the dance floor. We usually witness the bride and the father dancing during such occasions, but this time it’s different and we love it.
Gabe Helguera has to be very proud of mom Susan who does an incredible job keeping up with him. They show their awesome dance skills on famous Michael Jackson’s song Billie Jean, but as the song goes on we see it’s a unique medley, which was mom’s idea.

When Luke, a 6-year-old boy, came back from school one day, he was overly excited to share with his mom that he had found his twin sister at school.
“Mom,” Luke started, “I swear…”
“What did we say about swearing?” his mom, Amy, asked him.
“Mom,” he continued, “I’m telling you, Luna is my twin sister!”
“Luke,” Amy responded with confusion, “You’re an only child, honey.”
“No, Mom! I’m serious. Luna and I have the same birthday, and we look alike. The teachers think that we’re twins, too,” the boy insisted.
For the rest of the day, he wouldn’t stop talking about Luna, her likes and dislikes, her favorite things, and more.
As Amy kept reassuring him that he was an only child and it wasn’t possible Luna to be his sister, Luke went to his room and grabbed the class photo. Amy had seen that photo before, but she didn’t pay attention to the rest of the kids.
When she saw Luna, she was a bit shocked. The resemblance between her and her son was uncanny.
Knowing there could be something behind this rather than a pure coincidence, Amy asked Luke if he wanted them to invite Luna and her mom over. Luke was over the moon.
“Do you think she’ll come?” Luke asked. “Like really come over?”
“I’ll speak to her mom tomorrow when I drop you off,” Amy smiled to her son.
When her husband Jeff returned home from work that night, Amy didn’t mention anything to his because it was too late and she had forgotten all about it.
The following morning, when she dropped Luke to school, Amy met with Luna’s mom, Penelope and the two arranged a playdate.
“Luna talks about Luke all the time, Amy,” Penelope said. “This will be great for them to spend time together outside of school.”
In the afternoon, Amy and Luke were waiting for his friend to come and baked some cookies. Jeff was home as well.
“What’s going on? We’re having people over?”
“Yes,” Amy said, but didn’t mention anything else.
Once at the door, Penelope and Luna were about to enter the place when Luna spotted Jeff and ran towards him, yelling, “Daddy!”
Jeff went pale and Luke said, “See, mom, I told you she was my sister.”
The room turned quiet as the three adults stared at one another.
“It was a long time ago, Amy,” Jeff started explaining. “Well, it was just before we found out that you were pregnant with Luke.”
Penelope stood quiet, it was obvious she knew Amy was Jeff’s wife when she agreed to take her daughter there.
“So, you knew?” Amy asked her husband. “The entire time, you knew?”
“I had to meet her,” Jeff said. “There was nothing else I could do.”
“I told Jeff to keep it a secret,” Penelope said. “I didn’t mind being a single mother to Luna, and my family helped me whenever I needed them.”
“I never meant for any of this to happen,” Jeff said then.
“Why would you put the kids in the same school?” Amy asked. “Did you really think that their paths were not going to cross?”
Then Penelope started to talk, “Jeff didn’t know about the school. I enrolled Luna in it recently, and anyway, Jeff knows the bare minimum about my daughter — it was what he wanted.”
Amy needed the time to think. She was mad at Jeff, but she also needed to think of her son. Her trust was broken, but she agreed on couple’s therapy for the sake of her son.
