Dad believes there’s nothing wrong with letting 13-foot-python “play” with his baby daughter

We often speak of how important it is for young children to grow around animals because that way they learn how to be more responsible. Well, this usually counts for cats and dogs. But different people love to welcome different kinds of animals in the house and keep them as pets.

A man named Jamie Guarino, who is a professional snake handler, has a huge python. He has had this 13-foot Burmese python called Nay-Nay since it was just a baby. And that wouldn’t be strange if Jamie doesn’t let his three daughters play with the enormous snake all day long. Nay Nay is free to move around the place and the girls seem to love it very much.

Jamie often shares videos on his YouTube channel, SnakeHuntersTV, which show him and his two daughters handling snakes. Recently, however, he posted a video that caused a stir among social media users. It shows his then 14-month-old daughter playing with Nay Nay and climbing onto it.

Many people said how leaving such a young child spending time around a snake powerful enough to kill someone within minutes was very irresponsible. Others defended Jamie saying how he had the python for a very long time and he knew the animal was safe to be around. “This guy has a love for his snakes, which is perfectly fine, but it’s made him blind to the fact that is DOES remain a dangerous animal, especially towards a baby,” one YouTube user said.

Jamie commented on the people’s concerns and said: “When people see this clip they mostly react with fear or negativity. And I don’t understand why. This is an embedded fear, and I think people are brainwashed.

“To those of you who might see this video as irresponsible or dangerous, please take a minute. Don’t judge based on fear or something you don’t understand. Snakes can be, and are, loving animals.”

There are also those who defend Jamie.

“Have massive amounts of respect for this guy… it’s hard for people to understand but he’s a professional he knows his snakes and you can clearly see the snake is chill not particularly interested in the little girl but more interested in having a look around,” someone wrote.

“Snakes are inquisitive animals and they are also very affectionate despite the mean reputation. Listen to this guy folks snakes are NOT what you think they are,” another added.

Despite many people saying how they believe Jamie knows exactly what he is doing, the video got to the hands of the authorities after which the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office asked the Department of Human Resources to investigate whether there was a case of child abuse and neglect.

Prince William wasn’t happy with Prince Charles’ actions before his comments about baby Lilibet

Every family has their own issues, but doing your best to make things right while the eyes of the entire world are at you must be extremely difficult. Just as in the case of the Royal family who have been going through so much recently.

Thankfully, the birth of Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor brings hope that the burned bridges could be finally repaired when it comes to the fragile relationship between The Duke and The Duchess of Sussex and the rest of “The Firm.”

Rumors were that the member of the family who was mostly affected and disappointed by the Megxit and everything that followed, including the bombshell interview the Sussexes gave to Oprah, was Prince Charles. He was said to be extremely mad with Harry for dragging the family name through the mud.

However, it seems that the birth of his fifth grandchild softened him a great deal. Upon revealing the news about the newest addition to the royal family, Prince Charles was visibly happy while visiting a British production plant earlier this week. The proud grandpa was reported saying:

“The development of technology like electric vehicles, or green hydrogen for that matter for heavy transport, is vital for maintaining the health of our world for future generations, something I’m only too aware of today having recently become a grandfather for the fifth time.

“And such happy news really does remind one of the necessity of continued innovation in this area, especially around sustainable battery technology, in view of the legacy we bequeath to our grandchildren,” as per Metro.

And as the entire world is looking forward to seeing Charles and Harry getting on good terms again, rumors about a previous rift between the future King of England and his eldest son William emerged.

Many believe that Charles was minding his words when speaking of the newborn baby because in the past he was “warned” by William not to use his grandchildren for the sake of polishing his public image.

According to The Mail on Sunday’s Emily Andrews, William wasn’t happy with his father revealing details about Prince George with the public in the past and sharing a photo of himself with his grandchildren in the background.

“William felt piqued that his father sometimes ‘used’ his son’s popularity, and that of his wife and three young children, to burnish his own image.

“William was particularly sensitive as he himself is reluctant to use his children as ‘props,’” she wrote.

Prince Charles, on the other hand, believes that grandparents should build a relationship with their grandchildren from very early age.

“It’s a different part of your life,” he once said. “The great thing is to encourage them. Show them things to take their interest. My grandmother did that, she was wonderful.

“It is very important to create a bond when they are very young.”

However, with his youngest son now living in America it would be difficult for Prince Charles to take his own advice when it comes to his relationship with Archie and Lilibet.

Harry and Meghan face criticism over naming their baby daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana

When Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed baby Archie into the world, all eyes were on them. Pretty much everyone was eager to learn the name of the firstborn of the Sussexes. And now, with the arrival of their daughter, things didn’t change. What’s most, even more people were looking forward to the baby’s name revelation, having in mind that a lot has been going on between the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royal family.

From stepping down from their royal duties, to moving to the States and accusing the Firm of racism during the bombshell interview, the relationship between the royals sort of broke down, and despite the numerous attempts to fix it, not much has been achieved. Hopefully, welcoming little Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten- Windsor will serve as a step forward in smoothing things up.

However, many people, as well as royal experts and biographers, criticized Harry and Meghan for the choice of the name of their girl.

Before her birth, the two claimed it would be very unlikely for their daughter to be named after her grandmother, late princess Diana, because they believed the name would come not only with a responsibility but would also “increase the public interest in the child’s life,” according to a source cited by Page Six. At the same time, the source indicated that Diana could be the middle name of Harry and Meghan’s second child.

The name pays tribute to two very important women in the life of Harry. His grandmother and his mother.

Lilibet is the Queen’s childhood nickname. Apparently, she used to pronounce her name like that when she was still very young and her grandfather, King George V, continued to call her that throughout his life. It was also the name Prince Philip used for his queen.

According to The Guardian, shortly after his marriage to Queen Elizabeth, the Duke of Edinburgh wrote a letter to his mother which read: “Lilibet is the only ‘thing’ in the world which is absolutely real to me.”

One of the people who criticized the couple over the name is royal commentator Richard Kay. He wrote in a column for the Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan took things too far naming the girl Lilibet.

“By giving the baby the name Lilibet, the Queen’s private family nickname – even though they intend to use the diminutive ‘Lili’ for their daughter – there is a risk,” Kay wrote, as quoted by Express.

“Will it be seen as a presumptuous choice for a royal baby who is eighth in line to the throne, but who will grow up on the other side of the world speaking with an American accent?”

He continued: “And how might Prince Charles feel about his fifth grandchild carrying such an intimate family pet name that he has never used himself? It is tempting to wonder if Harry would have been so emboldened in his choice if his grandfather Prince Philip – the only close family member permitted to call the Queen ‘Lilibet’ – had still been alive.”

Other royal commentators and biographers, including Angela Levin, believe the Queen herself isn’t thrilled over the name of her 11th great-grandchild.

“I think she’s desperately unhappy because they were desperately rude about her, I don’t think it’s a good idea. I think it’s quite rude to her Majesty the Queen,” Levin said, according to the Daily Mail.

She added: “It was a very private nickname from her husband who hasn’t been dead for very long. Prince Charles would never dream of referring to his mother as Lilibet.

“He’s never used it – it was a special name, especially for the the Duke of Edinburgh’. She added she believes it was ‘demeaning’ for the Sussexes to have used it”.

Piers Morgan lashes out at Meghan Markle just days after birth of 2nd child calling her a “liar”

Congratulations from members of the British Royalty, as well as from people from all over the world, came poring in after the birth of Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten- Windsor, the daughter and second child of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

However, the great news of the arrival of the sweet baby didn’t prevent those who are not fond of the Duchess of Sussex to open up about the way they feel when it comes to her and her actions which hurt the royals over the past year. One of those people is famous television host Piers Morgan who is lashing out at Meghan again, just days after she became a mom for the second time.

During his appearance on 60 Minutes Australia, Morgan went on to criticize the Duchess pretty much about everything, and that included the name she and Harry chose for their daughter. He openly stated that naming the baby after the Queen was to say the least, ironic.

“You have this couple who have been trashing the royal family and the monarchy for the last few weeks and they have named the baby after the Queen, who is, of course, the head of the royal family and the monarchy,” he told Today Show Australia.

Morgan continued by saying that the name choice could also be an attempt for the Sussexes to smooth the relationship with the royal family.

“Maybe it’s their way of reaching out, as the Americans say, to the royals and wanting some kind of end to this on-running feud,” he said.

Just hours before his appearance on TV, he tweeted that he wouldn’t be commenting on anything related to the birth of Lilibeth because of “her parents’ constant pleas.”

“For those asking for my reaction to the new royal baby, I am respecting her parents’ constant pleas for privacy and declining to comment,” he tweeted.

The feud between Meghan Markle and Piers Morgan has been going on for quite some time. In one occasion, he even called her a liar and said he didn’t believe her when she spoke of her mental struggles during the Oprah interview.

What’s most, he was forced to quit his job as a host of Good Morning Britain after he refused to apologize to Meghan for disbelieving her.

“I didn’t know this at the time but Meghan Markle had complained to my boss at ITV on the Monday night,” Morgan said on 60 Minutes Australia. “It was demanded I apologize for disbelieving her, otherwise I would have to vacate my chair.”

“I thought there was hypocrisy, I thought there were downright lies coming out in the interview,” he added. “I saw my job to hold them to account like I would to a government minister and for doing that, within 36 hours I had to leave the job,” he added.

Further, he spoke of Harry and Meghan’s claims that they got married three days prior to the wedding ceremony witnessed by people from practically every corner of the world.

“Well, that’s not true. They couldn’t have got married three days before they said they did because that would make the Archbishop of Canterbury a criminal,” Morgan told Sky News at the time the interview which caused a stir aired.

“There were a lot of things coming out of Meghan Markle’s mouth that I knew to be untrue.”

Morgan also spoke of his concerns that people are not allowed to have strong opinions nowadays. “You’re not allowed to disbelieve a liar like Meghan Markle. I’m sorry to call her that but she tells lies… We’ve proven that,” he said.

As it looks, Morgan never misses a chance to speak ill of Meghan Markle. Just six months after she tied the knot with Prince Harry and became a part of the royalty, Morgan wrote about Meghan in a column for the Daily Mail: “Meghan Markle is a ruthless social climbing actress who has landed the role of her life and is determined to milk it for all she can – and that’s why the Palace is beginning to turn on her.”

On June 4, the arrival of baby Lilibeth “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was announced, and once again, all eyes were on the proud mom and dad, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex who caused quite a stir during the past year.

Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and moved to America. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, they didn’t get the chance to return to Britain, except for Harry, who attended his grandfather’s funeral but was in a rush to get back to Meghan and Archie and missed his grandma’s birthday. As a result, Prince Charles, as well as the Queen and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, didn’t get the chance to see little Archie for quite some time.

However, despite the fact that their relationship with Harry and Meghan isn’t the brightest at the moment, the royals were thrilled with the birth of sweet Lilibeth. They shared a statement congratulating the new parents. It read: “The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news.”

According to many, the Queen was probably consulted about the baby’s name, but many believe she isn’t impressed by the choice. In fact, according to royal biographer Angela Levin, Meghan and Harry’s move is somewhat “rude.”

The birth of Lilibet “Lili” Diana Mountbatten-Windsor brought new hopes in restoring the broken relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family.

The proud mom and dad announced the arrival of their second child who is the Queen’s 11th great-grandchild and eighth in line to the throne writing:

“June 4th, God bless us with the arrival of our daughter Lily. This is more wonderful than we could have imagined, and we are grateful for the love and prayers that have poured out on us from different parts of the world.

“We thank you for your generosity and continued support during this special period in our family’s life.”

The name is a beautiful tribute to the baby’s great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth whose childhood nickname is Lilibet. In fact, it was how late Prince Philip called the Queen. The name Diana, of course, pays tribute to Harry’s late mother.

Congratulations on the new arrival in the royal family came from all around the world. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge expressed their happiness writing: “Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana. Wishing them all well at this special time.”

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall tweeted: “Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie on the arrival of baby Lilibet Diana. Wishing them all well at this special time.”

In fact, some more good news came as many believe that the birth of Lilibeth will be a reason more for Prince Charles to forgive his son and his daughter-in-law and will try to overcome the hard feelings towards them after everything they said about the royals during the Oprah interview as well as during Harry’s appearance on Dax Shepard’s The Armchair Expert podcast where he spoke of the “genetic pain and suffering” his father passed on him.

During a visit to a British production plant yesterday, Prince Charles, who was reported to be visibly happy, said:

94-year-old lady receives her high school diploma 77 years after dropping out of school

When it comes to reaching significant milestones in life, it’s better late than never, just as in the case of this adorable elderly lady named Grace Lee McClure Smith who received a high school diploma from Hazel Green High School at the age of 94.

Smith dropped out of school some 77 years ago to marry the love of her life at only 16 years old.

However, according to Tim Hall, Director of PR at Madison County Schools, Smith’s entire life was closely connected to the school. “She came back and for more than 30 years, she drove a school bus in Madison County, she served our students and got them safely to school and safely home for 30 years,” he said.

On June 2, 2021, Smith became Madison County’s oldest high school graduate ever. That’s something, isn’t it?

Smith’s granddaughter Erin Wilson, who arranged her granny to be part of the ceremony said: “She never ever mentioned regretting anything in life. She would never take it back because she absolutely loved my grandfather and that was just what she wanted to do, but I think this was very important to her.”

Speaking of one of the best and most exciting days of her life, Smith said: “I feel like I don’t deserve it. There’s a lot more people that are much more deserving than me. I’m just doing my job, love it. I love most of it most of the time. Good times!”

What a lovely ceremony. Congratulations, Grace Lee McClure Smith!
