Amazon driver saves the life of an 83-year-old man who fell in the snow and was unable to move for over an hour

Even if you don’t believe in faith, there were certainly situations in your life that made you think that you somehow found yourself in the right place at the right time, right?

This is the incredible story of James Nowlin, a senior U.S. Federal District Judge, living in Red Rock, Texas.

This 83-year-old man wanted to get his trash out one day. However, the weather was pretty bad and it was snowing heavily, something very untypical for this part of the country, and James thought it would be for the best if he used his car to get to the end of his driveway as it was pretty much a long way for someone his age.

Speaking to the KVUE, James said: “I was in the process of moving it out the front gate kind of across that cattle guard, but I was trying to stay away from the cattle guard.” Unfortunately, as he was doing his best to avoid the cattle guard, he fell on the ground. His left foot went under him and he was unable to move.

What’s most, there was no one inside the house and James was only wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants as he believed he would get back inside in just a couple of minutes. On top of that, he didn’t have his phone with him.

“I could not get on my feet to get back to the car or basically to move anywhere other than push myself with my hands on my butt … which I did back up across the cattle guard to my car … which is parked maybe 50, 60 feet away inside the gate. So I got up to the car thinking I could grab hold of the door handle on the driver’s side and pull myself up. I was unable to do that,” he explained.

James spent over an hour on the ground and got really scared, but then, “an angel and a saint” in the form of an Amazon driver spotted the vulnerable man.

Elisha Infante was driving down one of the country roads in Red Rock and noticed James. She pulled her vehicle over and rushed to offer him help. Elisha took off her coat and wrapped it around James and called 911.

Luckily, it didn’t take long before the medics arrived and rushed James to the hospital where he had undergone a surgery for a fractured femur.

“I thought, ‘That’s somebody’s grandpa,’” Elisha told KVUE. “I know something or somebody put me there, I know that for a fact because I know what I felt and I know a lot of people don’t believe in faith or they don’t believe in stories like this. But it’s real, you know? Somebody sent me there. I never go to Red Rock, ever.”

James knew that if it wasn’t for this amazing lady, he could have easily died in the snow. That’s why, he offered her his thank you by buying her the car she had been saving for. Isn’t that incredible?

Elisha says she will use her car not only to drive herself to work, but also to volunteer with Meals on Wheels and provide medical transports for a local pet rescue. We all need to be Elisha!

Take a look at the whole story in the video below and don’t forget to share it with your friends.

82-year-old lady dances the Charleston and still moves like she’s in her twenties

Commercials! Is there anyone who loves seeing them popping up while watching their favorite TV show? I guess not. But if they are as awesome as the one below featuring a grandma dancing the Charleston, then the answer is a resounding yes.

The 82-year-old lady is barely walking, but she then takes the product advertised and quickly turns vital, just as she was back in the day. She’s wearing a long black dress which goes to short with just a single move, and that makes this grandma really cool.

In the next moment, we see her moving as though she isn’t 82 years old but a teenager.

She does the Charleston dance, and she’s doing it with style. This particular dance was very popular during the 1920s but was later banned because of its apparent sexual nature and likelihood of exposing women’s legs. It is characterized with toes-in, heels-out twisting steps and was named after the harbor city of Charleston, South Carolina.

In fact, the Charleston first appeared in 1923, in a Broadway piece called Runnin’ Wild.

The grandma from the video below, which has been seen over 3 million times, is wearing an outfit typical of the 1920s. And yes, we can all agree she’s a great dancer. Check the video out below.

Vietnam veteran’s dying wish was to see his beloved Yorkshire Terrier one last time

The connection some people have with their dogs is so pure and profound that it melts our hearts.

In fact, every dog owner should love and take care of their furry palls the way this veteran did over the years.

John Vincent of New Mexico is 69 and he still remembers vividly the day he welcomed Patch into his life. He was lonely at the time, and Patch made his days fun and memorable. Sadly, the two are now separated because of John’s deteriorating health.

Speaking about Patch, John told Albuquerque Journal: “He was the smallest, and I wanted one that could ride on my bike. The only hair I had was on my chin, which was called a patch. And he had a little white patch, so we were the patch brothers.”

Imagine these two friends riding a bike together wearing matching googles? We bet they had the time of their lives when John was perfectly healthy and able to spend his days around his furry pal.

Before he went to the hospital, John made sure he left Patch in the hands of the people who would treat him the right way.

But as John started feeling even worse, he told a social worker at the hospice center, Amy Neal, his final wish. And that of course was to see Patch again.

Neal was quick to do all she could to grant this veteran his final wish so she contacted the shelter where Patch was and explained the situation. Danny Nevarez, the director of Animal Welfare was more than happy to bring Patch to his owner.

Patch was quiet during the ride, but once they stopped the car in front of the hospice center, he started wagging his tail. “It’s almost like he knew, he just started whimpering,” Nevarez said. “Like he had that anticipation.”

The moment John saw his friend, he said, “Yeah, that’s me, that’s daddy. Are you so happy to see me? I’m so happy to see you.” Patch answered with a resounding yes in a form of kisses and licks.

John was at ease he could spend time with Patch and was glad he learned his dog was getting a new family very soon.

“It was such a heart warming moment! They were so happy to see each other and to say their goodbyes. It was an honor to make this veterans final wish come true,” the shelter wrote.

Honestly, I don’t think any form of love can ever beat that of a human and their dog. Share this touching story if you agree.

Mother gets an earful after judging dirty construction worker in store

Some days you just need to run into the grocery store to pick up something quick.  You may have just been at the gym, home with sick children, or maybe just getting off from work.  When this man decided to pick up a few things after work in Washington State he never gave it a second thought until… After a few minutes, he noticed a little girl staring at him. Andy Ross was legitimately dirty after a long day’s work in the woods, he knew it but didn’t give it too much thought.  Now standing in line the little girl was still staring. The mom whispered to her daughter, “That’s why you need to stay in school.” Obviously she was saying this to her daughter assuming Andy was a failure based on his looks. Andy wasn’t letting this slide if for no other reason then to let that little girl know the truth and educate  her with his story.  He confronted the mom and totally left her speechless with her preconceived ideas of him being a loser. The he posted this message on Facebook, what a powerful and surprising post.
“So I had a very interesting ‘educational’ conversation with a woman and her daughter today. As I entered the store before I got home, a little girl kept staring at me. Which is fine. I know that kids are curious when they see someone, especially as dirty as I was. They ended up in front of me as I was checking out. Little girl still staring, her mother told her to stop staring. As they finished and headed towards the door, I hear her mom say quietly to the little girl, ‘That is why you need to stay in school.’ I figured this was a great time to educate this mother and her 7/8-year-old daughter. The following is our conversation:’ “First, I happen to be a very educated dirty man. I not only have a high school diploma, I also have a college degree and many medical certifications. So assuming that I am uneducated because of my appearance is actually quite ignorant in itself.”
“Secondly, if you are telling your daughter to stay in school because I have tattoos up and down my arms, that will actually suppress her creativity and potentially hinder her imagination as she develops. Again, contradictory to your point ma’am. I am proud of my tattoos and artwork that Forrest Bateman put on my body. It’s a representation of my pride in my country and my service over multiple combat tours as a special operations medic.”
“Third, if you’re referring that statement to the hat (not featured) I’m wearing because it features an elk, you might not understand it. I happen to co-own Evergreen State Outdoors and am proud to own an outdoors company and support my rights to hunt and responsibly be a gun owner.”
“Finally, I chose to work in a construction industry. I am proud to say that I am apart of building America and I enjoy my job everyday. I tried working a desk job when I got out of the service and it wasn’t for me. I enjoy working with my hands and being outdoors. Subsequently, it comes with being dirty some days. I make good money, have benefits, and am able to provide for my family without issue.”
“So my appearance reflects nothing to do with my level of intelligence or pursuing a higher level of education.”
Andy’s post should remind us all to never judge a book by it’s cover and to always remember people have many reasons for doing what they do.

5-year-old girl blows the audience away with incredible performance of Dolly Parton song

We never really know when our talents will be noticed by the right people. A lot of stories about celebrities and their road to stardom start with someone “discovering” their abilities in odd ways.

Hopefully, the girl that we are going to tell you about will find her place in the music industry once she gets a bit older, because she will have an incredible story to share about how her singing went viral and how she ended up on Ellen’s show.

Violet Burdick, who is only five years old, and her musician father Ryan posted a video of her performing Dolly Parton’s famous song Jolene on YouTube and people loved it.

Soon after the video went viral, Violet’s aunt Erin decided to send a copy of it to Ellen. Needless to say, the show’s crew was mesmerized by Violet’s singing abilities so they decided to invite her over together with her dad.

Ryan said he had no idea Erin sent Violet’s video to Ellen, but he wasn’t mad. On the contrary, both he and his girl were eager to meet the famous host. They traveled from New York to L.A. and had to get tested for COVID-19 three times, but it was all worth it.

Once at Ellen’s, Violet charmed everyone at the studio, as well as those watching on TV, with her incredible vocal. She and her dad also spoke of just how much they love Dolly Parton and how much they appreciate all she does for the battle against the coronavirus, including funding the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. They also spoke of Dolly’s contribution to the community through the “Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.”

And as we all know already, Ellen won’t be her if she hasn’t a surprise in her sleeve.

Once Violet’s cute performance came to an end, she and Ryan were told they were getting an all-expenses-paid vacation to Dollywood in Tennessee.

Ryan hopes Violet will become a singer one day, and in case she does choose to get involved in music, he’s there to support her every step of the way. He also knows just how much Ellen is doing for these prodigy kids who show up at her show. “That is one nice thing about that show, they follow up with the child performers and to see them later and how they progressed. That is fun,” the proud dad said.

Twitter says Donald Trump’s ban is permanent even if he runs for president again

Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial lasted for five days and the Senate voted to acquit him of inciting the Capitol riots which took place on January 6, 2021. This means he will be eligible to run for the office in four years time.

However, even if that is the case, Twitter, who banned Trump from using the platform, won’t let him use it ever again. This decision was made on January 9, when the platform added a special “fact-check link” beneath many of the former president’s tweets, including one where he called mail-in ballots “fraudulent.”

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter said in a statement released a few days after the Capitol riots during which five people lost their lives, among which a police officer.

“In the context of horrific events this week, we made it clear on Wednesday that additional violations of the Twitter Rules would potentially result in this very course of action.”

Twitter Chief Financial Officer Ned Segal spoke to CNBC, saying: “The way our policies work, when you’re removed from the platform, you’re removed from the platform — whether you’re a commentator, you’re a CFO, or you are a former or current public official.”

“Remember, our policies are designed to make sure that people are not inciting violence, and if anybody does that, we have to remove them from the service and our policies don’t allow people to come back.”

What do you think about Twitter’s decision to ban Donald Trump from using their platform ever again?

Baby girl gets out in the summer rain for the first time ever and her sweet reaction melts millions of hearts

Growing up, little children come across many things that are completely new to them, and it is their curiosity that leads them through life and teaches them about everything that surrounds them. Of course, having their parents and loved ones by their side to guide them through their experiences is a true blessing.

Sweet Harper is a little girl who seems to love the rain so very much. Well, we do understand why she enjoys the drops falling down and wakening that specific scent that radiates from the ground. Whereas some people hate the idea of going out when raining, there are also those who love feeling the drops getting down their skin, and Harper belongs to the latter.

Source: YouTube Screenshot-Swift Family

When her dad sees it started to rain, he offers his lovely daughter to take her out for a couple of seconds, just for her to feel the drops of rain on her face. Needless to say, she is over the moon by this “journey” she gets to experience for the first time in her life.

Being out in the rain is so fun that Harper can’t stop giggling. In fact, she managed to put a smile on millions of faces who have seen the video of her playing in the summer rain.

Realizing Harper is happy, dad decided to get her out while carrying her in his arms one more time. And later, he took her hand and let her walk, thus many agree he’s one really cool dad.

Who knew that such a little child having fun in the rain could become one of the cutest videos ever? Take a look at Harper below. Isn’t she adorable?

Donald Trump’s sister Maryanne is secretly recorded saying her brother is “a cruel” man with “no principles”

Pretty much everyone is familiar with the life story of Fred Trump, one of the wealthiest men and most successful businessmen in the U.S. He built his empire with nothing but a hard work and then left most of it to his son Donald Trump.

When Donald inherited the construction business in Manhattan, people knew the Trump empire will only grow bigger and bigger, and that’s exactly what happened.

Besides becoming a magnate just like his father, Donald Trump also became the 45th President of America. However, he’s not the only successful person in the Trump family.

One of Donald’s older sisters, Maryanne Trump Barry, had a very rich career and helped promote the family’s name in her own right. From what she has been saying of her younger brother over the years, the relationship between the two was a perfect one, but then, recordings of her speaking of Donald emerged in 2018 and 2019 and the wide public realized she hadn’t been completely honest in the past when it came to her relationship with the former president.

Maryanne pursued a career as a lawyer and became one after graduating from Hofstra University in 1974 and earning a law degree. Shortly afterwards, she got her first job with the U.S Attorney’s Office in New Jersey.

Her career moved on when she was appointed as a Federal Judge in 1983 to the District Court of New Jersey by President Ronald Reagan and was later appointed to the U.S Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit during President Clinton’s presidency. Maryanne retired in 2011.

She used to spoke of her father’s wealth and said in many occasions how she sort of “stepped down” because she didn’t want to be Donald’s rival in running the business. “I knew better even as a child than to even attempt to compete with Donald,” she told New York Mag. “I wouldn’t have been able to win. He was building models when he was very young. Huge buildings.”

In the book The Trumps: Three Generations That Built an Empire, Maryanne wrote: “There’s no question Donald helped me get on the bench. I was good, but not that good.”

However, despite the support the siblings had provided for one another during the years, The Washington Post published secretly recorded audios in which Maryanne could be heard describing Donald Trump as a “cruel” man with “no principles.”

“All he wants to do is appeal to his base,” Maryanne tells her niece Mary Trump in one of the recordings. “He has no principles. None. None. And his base, I mean my God, if you were a religious person, you want to help people. Not do this.”

“His g——- tweet and lying, oh my God,” the sister added. “I’m talking too freely, but you know. The change of stories. The lack of preparation. The lying. Holy s—.”

“He got into University of Pennsylvania because he had somebody take the exams,” Maryanne Trump Barry said in the recording. “SATs or whatever. That’s what I believe.”

The White House rejected these allegations.

Mary Trump is the daughter of Fred Trump Jr. and Donald Trump’s niece who was doing all in her power for Trump not to become a president as she was involved into an inheritance dispute with the Trumps.

As for the rest of Donald Trump’s family, and that includes Maryanne Trump Barry, they all support Donald and are very close to him until this day.
