The world can be a scarry place with those with disabilities, and this isn’t true only for humans, but for animals, too.
When the family adopted Ace, a beautiful black and white cat, he had already spent a lot of time at the shelter. The reason why was that he was missing an eye, and nobody wanted him.
However, when a woman named Norma and her family welcomed him into their home and their lives, Ace thrived. He enjoyed spending time at the porch, sunbathing and scratching.
Sadly, however, whenever he tried approaching a passerby, they wouldn’t stop because of his missing eye. Norma said people were afraid of the cute feline because despite him being the best pet anyone could ask for, a sweet cat with bubbly personality.
Since Ace wanted to be outside most of the day, Norma decided to install a security camera and check on him while she was inside the house. What she didn’t expect, however, was a sweet visit from an unknown young boy.
When she was going through the camera footage, something she did from time to time, she noticed a boy on his bike stopping in front of their home. He approached Ace, and the cat was happy to see him, which made Norma realize that wasn’t their first meeting. She was certain the boy visited before because Ace felt calm in his presence.
The boy started cuddling Ace, and the two spent some time together. It was definitely one of the cutest sights Norma has ever witnessed.
In the days to come, she was waiting for the boy to return, and that’s exactly what happened.
The boy made a stop by their porch again, and that’s when Norma decided to get out and greet him. She told him he could come and play with Ace any time he wanted.
Her words planted a huge grin on the boy’s face. It was obvious he enjoyed being around Ace. And he wasn’t scared of him like most people.
“A friend of Ace’s is a friend of ours,” Norma said and meant it.
She later shared the footage on the social media and a number of media outlets picked it up, highlighting the pureness in children and animals.
