Harry and Meghan obeyed royal rules for the Queen’s farewell – showed “loving support” later

Ever since the moment they were born, the members of the British royal family have been living a life under the spotlight, and now, with the passing of Queen Elizabeth, whose reigning of 70 years has impacted and shaped history in many ways, all eyes are on the royals once again.

Among the rest, many are eager to see whether the relationship between the Sussexes, who stepped down from their royal duties back in 2020, and the rest of the family would get any better. Bridges have been burnt between them and things have been said, but experts are convinced that both Harry and Meghan are doing all in their power to smooth things down as their recent behavior has been interpreted as an attempt to offer an olive branch to the newly appointed King, Charles, and the Prince of Wales, William.

When the media broke the news of the Queen’s ill-health in the morning of the day she passed away, Harry and Meghan happened to be in London for an event. This meant they were right there with the Royal Family through it all.

There is no doubt that Harry was heartbroken because of his loving grandmother’s death. It wasn’t a secret that she adored him and had a soft spot for him. Following Megxit, it was reported that Charles and William were left infuriated, which wasn’t the case with Queen Elizabeth. She was very sad, but she wasn’t mad at her grandson.

During a service at Westminster Hall, which preceded Queen Elizabeth’s funeral, Harry and Meghan were spotted holding hands. The couple faced heavy criticism because it was a formal event, and allegedly, they weren’t supposed to show affection towards one another. According to the media, holding hands during such an occasion was disrespectful.

However, not many share this opinion. Journalist Lorraine Kelly said it was beautiful that the couple held hands as it showed Meghan was very supportive of her husband in his time of grief for someone that meant so much to him. “And on the way out [of the service] quite instinctively, he held hands with his wife as he should,” she told royal expert Jennie Bond.

Bond was on the same page with Kelly and said she couldn’t understand why the media would want Harry and Meghan to follow the protocol of not holding hands during a grand occasion such as that one.

However, the Sussexes seemed to have paid attention to the criticism, so on the day the Queen was laid to rest, they were very formal and kept physical distance between them.

Katia Loisel, a body language expert, noted how the Duchess of Sussex kept her head bowed, hands clasped in front, and eyes downcast, unlike most of the procession that walked with their arms by their sides on the day of the funeral. She believed Meghan’s gesture was a sign of self-protection and showed uncertainty or discomfort and “a sign of respect.”

Another body language expert, Judi James, analysed Meghan’s behavior at the funeral as well. She told Page Six that although the couple did not hold hands during the funeral, Meghan had certainly lent “silent support” to her husband. “She seemed to offer a continuation of that silent support to her husband while sitting and walking with a look of dignity tinged with sadness,” James said.

Pregnant woman notices an angel kissing her unborn child on ultrasound

Carrying a child has to be one of the best feelings a woman can ever experience. Giving birth is a miracle all by itself, and the joy a child brings in their parents’ lives is immense.

A woman named Shantel Carrillo was overly excited when she fell pregnant, so when she was in the fifth month, she shared a photo of the ultrasound on her social media.

Nothing seemed out of the ordinary to her, but her friends were quick to notice something pretty unusual. “It looks like a person is kissing the baby on the photo,” one person wrote, and soon, many commented that they see the image as well.

After looking at the photo closely, Shantel not only noticed the image of a person kissing her unborn child, but she realized that the ‘angel’ shown on the ultrasound looked very familiar.

“It was honestly like a punch in the chest, like, how awesome it was to see that. It’s nice to look at and it’s a great story to tell,” she said as she shared that she was certain the angel kissing her unborn daughter looked exactly like her deceased father.

Shantel then posted a side-by-side photos of the ultrasound and another one in which her dad holds her older daughter.

The resemblance between the two pictures is uncanny.

“It has his nose, his little chubby cheeks, his little double chin, and my dad wore a hat like all the time. It looks like the bill of his hat and his lips are just touching hers so perfectly,” she told Fox5.

Shantel’s dad died of heart attack back in 2016, but she’s now certain that even though he’s no longer around, he watches over them from Heaven.

Asked if she’s convinced the person appearing on the ultrasound is her father, this mom said, “I can’t really think of it as any other way, if you knew my dad he loved to be the center of attention. Makes me feel like he is watching over my new daughter. It’s just a beautiful thing.”

Princess Charlotte is the picture of grace as she tips hat and bows to honor Queen Elizabeth

The passing of Queen Elizabeth marked the end of a reigning era which started way back in 1952.

She was on the throne of England for 70 incredible years during which she gave the country stability and security. The truth is that most Britons have never had a monarch not named Elizabeth, and now that a new dawn arose for the royal family, their every move is closely followed by the watchful eye of almost every person on the planet.

The Queen’s funeral was a grand affair. Everything was perfectly planned and operation ‘London Bridge,’ went smoothly. A huge number of people gathered to pay their respects to the incredible monarch who served her country until the very last day of her life of 96 years.

It goes without question that Queen Elizabeth’s death brough immense grief at every Briton, and the news of her passing was received with great sorrow, despite her fragile age.

Her family, more than anyone else, has been affected deeply.

The new ruler of the country, King Charles III, addressed his people with an emotional speech about his dear mother.

“The death of my beloved Mother, Her Majesty The Queen, is a moment of the greatest sadness for me and all members of my family,” King Charles said.

“We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mother. I know her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.

“During this period of mourning and change, my family and I will be comforted and sustained by our knowledge of the respect and deep affection in which The Queen was so widely held.”

Among those in attendance at Westminster Abbey were Prince William and Kate Middleton’s eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Matching her mother’s outfit by wearing black, Princess Charlotte stole the attention of both the people and the media. Showing manners suitable for a princess, she wore a hat and a small diamond brooch in the shape of a horseshoe, a tribute to her beloved great-grandmother who was widely known for her love for horses.

Commentators closely following the event noticed how Princess Charlotte bowed her head in honor of the Queen, and they believe her act looked many years beyond her age.

Before the service, some magazines, including People, wrote that William and Kate had second thoughts when it came to bringing George and Charlotte to the ceremony in honor of the late monarch.

We believe they made the right decision as their children are very well raised and behave in accordance with their titles. Their parents have a lot to be proud of.

Camilla “spat out her tea” at Prince Harry’s suggestion for Meghan and King Charles’ meeting

Ever since Megxit, the relationship between certain members of the royal family has been nothing but strained. Prince Harry, who has made the tough decision to leave Britain behind and settle down in America with his family, has openly spoken of his life as a royal, even telling Oprah that his father, King Charles III, had ‘cut him off’ amid the rift.

The Sussexes found themselves in Britain again as they made a decision to stop off there on their way to The Hague for the Invictus Games weeks before the death of the Queen.

If reports are to be trusted, Prince Harry extended olive branches to his father and his brother in an attempt to rebuild some of the bridges that got burned down since he and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties.

Not only they stopped being working royals who moved to another country, but they made sure the world learned of what was going on behind closed doors.

Considering the royals to be far from ordinary, it didn’t some as a surprise that the infamous all-tell interview Harry and Meghan had with Oprah caused a stir. Millions of people were eagerly waiting to learn the reasons behind the royal rift and the Sussexes did provide a lot of information which left the royal family infuriated.

Now that Queen Elizabeth passed away, many experts claim that the royals would do all in their power to smooth things down between them.

It was reported that Meghan asked for one-on-one meeting with the King, but he allegedly hasn’t responded yet.

Harry, just like his wife, “went in with hugs and the best of intentions and said he wanted to clear the air,” weeks before the Queen’s passing, according to an excerpt of royal expert Katie Nicholl’s book, The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown

“He actually suggested that they use a mediator to try and sort things out, which had Charles somewhat bemused and Camilla spluttering into her tea.

“She told Harry it was ridiculous and that they were a family and would sort it out between themselves,” Nicholl writes.

Harry’s suggestion came when King Charles organized a meeting with him and Meghan before they were about to see the Queen during their visit of Britain.

An insider claimed that Charles, who held the title Prince of Wales at the time, didn’t want his mother to fall for Harry’s sweet-talk, as it was the case with her son Andrew. Charles wanted to make sure the Queen wouldn’t agree to anything without his say-so.

Apparently, the Sussexes were late, and Charles only had 15 minutes with them before he headed to Windsor Castle for the Royal Maundy Service.

Royal author Robert Jobson wrote in The Sun that “Harry will no doubt be torn between wanting acceptance from his family and also the love of his wife. But he has now left himself in a Catch-22 situation.

“He has signed a four-book deal worth millions with Penguin Random House. He needs the money to fund his flash Californian lifestyle.

“Once that book, which is now written, hits bookshelves there will be no going back for Harry.”

We are yet to see what the future holds for Harry and Meghan.

These photos show that the worst neighbors ever do exist

A verse of the Bible says, “Love thy neighbor as thyself,” but the truth is that this isn’t always an easy task. Some neighbors are simply meant not to be loved, because no matter how much we try to build a normal relationship with them for the sake of living nearby, they are unfriendly and unwilling to be nice.

The following photos are the perfect proof that not every neighbor is a good one.

Meghan Markle allegedly requests meeting with King Charles ‘one-to-one’ before she leaves

The day Queen Elizabeth II was laid to rest after 70 years of reigning was the day the entire world stood still. People from all over the country gathered together to pay their respects to the monarch who led the country during troublesome times and significant social changes.

In the meantime, the royal family itself is entering into a new era as Charles becomes King of the United Kingdom and the 14 Commonwealth realms. Prince William, who is next after Charles in the line of succession, and his wife Kate Middleton have officially been given new titles. They will now be referred to as the Prince and Princess of Wales.

In his speech as a King, Charles said, “With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given.”

Having in mind that the relationship between the Sussexes and the rest of the royals has been a troublesome one during the past couple of years, a number of royal experts are convinced that the Queen’s passing will lead to reconciliation.

As Harry and Meghan were spotted together with the newly appointed Prince and Princess of Wales, experts claim Meghan is taking matters into her own hands when it comes to repairing some of the bridges burned with regards to the members of The Firm.

According to NBC and MSNBC’s royal reporter Neil Sean, a ‘reliable’ source informed him that Meghan is trying to get a one-on-one meeting with her father-in-law before leaving Britain. Allegedly, she asked to see him in person via a letter, an act Sean describes as ‘brave.’

Getty Images

“Allegedly, she’d now like, before their return back to California, to have a one-to-one audience with King Charles III,” the expert said.

“According to that good source, this [request] was made in a formal letter; this is how you write to the King, through his equerry and then of course that’s passed on etc.

“Basically according to this letter, she feels it would be an opportunity to clear the air, sort the rights from wrongs and explain some of the rationale behind what they’ve been doing over the last two years,” he added.

Admitting that “you have to admire Meghan’s self-belief, whatever you think,” Sean highlighted the fact that the relationship between Meghan and King Charles has been strained ever since she and Harry stepped down from their royal duties and left everyone in the royal family infuriated.

“Truthfully, we have no idea if this is going to go forward,” Sean concluded in the video.

Do you believe the Sussexes are trying to return to the royal fold in some manner?

Harry and Meghan upset while waiting for King Charles to respond if their kids are getting royal titles

Queen Elizabeth’s passing triggered changes within the royal family as a new order of succession has been revised when Charles took the throne.

William and Kate were given new titles, Prince and Princess of Wales, titles previously held by King Charles and late Princess Diana.

However, as the Royal Family’s line of succession was altered, it is still uncertain whether Harry and Meghan’s children will be given HRH titles, something they are entitled to based on a rule established by King George V after he issued a Letters Patent in 1917 which read, “…the grandchildren of the sons of any such sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms.”

Getty Images

While the Royal Family’s website was updated to reflect the changes affecting the titles of William and Kate, the children of the Sussexes have still been referred to as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.”

According to The Sun, however, we should wait and see whether Archie and Lilibet get HRH titles. Apparently, new arrangements are expected to be made in the days to come.

In the past, Harry and Meghan accused the family of stripping their son of his royal titles, although many claimed that with the Queen still being the head of the country, he wasn’t entitled to one. That, however, changed with Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

Getty Images

Speaking to People, a source said, “Archie will almost certainly become a prince one day. Charles isn’t going to disavow his grandson, so it’s hugely unlikely that he’ll change the rules to stop it happening. The Charles also isn’t going to say that Archie can’t use the title any time soon.”

On the other hand, King Charles was reported to have said in the past that he wanted to make certain changes once he accedes the throne. “Charles has never made any secret of the fact that he wants a slimmed-down Monarchy when he becomes King. He realizes that the public don’t want to pay for a huge Monarchy and, as he said, the balcony at Buckingham Palace would probably collapse,” a source close to the family told The Mail back in June of 2022.

Harry has revealed that his relationship with his father was a turbulent one, but now that he became King, Charles reached out to his younger son.

An emotional message from Prince Harry on the passing of his beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II

Prince Harry shared a heartfelt tribute to the woman who always had his back and was there for him whenever he needed someone to turn to, his loving grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Her passing brought grief and left millions mourning the loss of a great monarch who led the country through social changes and overcame troubled times.

When the news of Her Majesty’s deteriorated health was shared with the public, Harry happened to be in Britan as he and Meghan were supposed to attend an event. He was reported to have travelled to Scotland right away, but sadly, he didn’t make it on time. He arrived at Balmoral Castle shortly after her passing.

Harry’s relationship with his grandmother was a special one, and he always spoke of her with admiration. Following her passing, he said he appreciated her service, her excellent advice, and her infectious smile.

“In remembering the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, as well as lamenting the loss of her, we are all brought back to the role she played as a moral compass for a great number of people via her dedication to duty and service,” Prince Harry shared on the Archewell Foundation website.

“She was globally admired and respected. Her unwavering grace and dignity remained true throughout her life and now her everlasting legacy. Let us echo the words she spoke after the passing of her husband, Prince Philip, words which can bring comfort to all of us now: ‘Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings.'”

He then added that his memories of the Queen range from the time he was just a child to when she first met his wife Meghan Markle and embraced her great-grandchildren.

“Granny, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings — from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren,” he continued. “I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between. You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over. And as it comes to first meetings, we now honour my father in his new role as King Charles III.

“Thank you for your commitment to service.”

We are all heartbroken for Queen Elizabeth’s passing. We hope this tragedy would reunite William and Harry and they will be able to rebuild their relationship.
