Harry and Meghan upset while waiting for King Charles to respond if their kids are getting royal titles

Queen Elizabeth’s passing triggered changes within the royal family as a new order of succession has been revised when Charles took the throne.

William and Kate were given new titles, Prince and Princess of Wales, titles previously held by King Charles and late Princess Diana.

However, as the Royal Family’s line of succession was altered, it is still uncertain whether Harry and Meghan’s children will be given HRH titles, something they are entitled to based on a rule established by King George V after he issued a Letters Patent in 1917 which read, “…the grandchildren of the sons of any such sovereign in the direct male line (save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales) shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of dukes of these our realms.”

While the Royal Family’s website was updated to reflect the changes affecting the titles of William and Kate, the children of the Sussexes have still been referred to as “Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor” and “Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.”

According to The Sun, however, we should wait and see whether Archie and Lilibet get HRH titles. Apparently, new arrangements are expected to be made in the days to come.

In the past, Harry and Meghan accused the family of stripping their son of his royal titles, although many claimed that with the Queen still being the head of the country, he wasn’t entitled to one. That, however, changed with Queen Elizabeth’s passing.

Speaking to People, a source said, “Archie will almost certainly become a prince one day. Charles isn’t going to disavow his grandson, so it’s hugely unlikely that he’ll change the rules to stop it happening. The Charles also isn’t going to say that Archie can’t use the title any time soon.”

On the other hand, King Charles was reported to have said in the past that he wanted to make certain changes once he accedes the throne. “Charles has never made any secret of the fact that he wants a slimmed-down Monarchy when he becomes King. He realizes that the public don’t want to pay for a huge Monarchy and, as he said, the balcony at Buckingham Palace would probably collapse,” a source close to the family told The Mail back in June of 2022.

Harry has revealed that his relationship with his father was a turbulent one, but now that he became King, Charles reached out to his younger son.

An emotional message from Prince Harry on the passing of his beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II

Prince Harry shared a heartfelt tribute to the woman who always had his back and was there for him whenever he needed someone to turn to, his loving grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Her passing brought grief and left millions mourning the loss of a great monarch who led the country through social changes and overcame troubled times.

When the news of Her Majesty’s deteriorated health was shared with the public, Harry happened to be in Britan as he and Meghan were supposed to attend an event. He was reported to have travelled to Scotland right away, but sadly, he didn’t make it on time. He arrived at Balmoral Castle shortly after her passing.

Harry’s relationship with his grandmother was a special one, and he always spoke of her with admiration. Following her passing, he said he appreciated her service, her excellent advice, and her infectious smile.

“In remembering the life of my grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, as well as lamenting the loss of her, we are all brought back to the role she played as a moral compass for a great number of people via her dedication to duty and service,” Prince Harry shared on the Archewell Foundation website.

“She was globally admired and respected. Her unwavering grace and dignity remained true throughout her life and now her everlasting legacy. Let us echo the words she spoke after the passing of her husband, Prince Philip, words which can bring comfort to all of us now: ‘Life, of course, consists of final partings as well as first meetings.'”

He then added that his memories of the Queen range from the time he was just a child to when she first met his wife Meghan Markle and embraced her great-grandchildren.

“Granny, while this final parting brings us great sadness, I am forever grateful for all of our first meetings — from my earliest childhood memories with you, to meeting you for the first time as my Commander-in-Chief, to the first moment you met my darling wife and hugged your beloved great-grandchildren,” he continued. “I cherish these times shared with you, and the many other special moments in between. You are already sorely missed, not just by us, but by the world over. And as it comes to first meetings, we now honour my father in his new role as King Charles III.

“Thank you for your commitment to service.”

We are all heartbroken for Queen Elizabeth’s passing. We hope this tragedy would reunite William and Harry and they will be able to rebuild their relationship.

For the first time after losing her son, Lisa Marie Presley opens up about her feelings

Benjamin Keough, the son of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough, died two years ago. His tragic passing was ruled suicide as the Los Angeles County Dept. of Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office confirmed that an autopsy revealed an intraoral shotgun wound.

Benjamin was the only grandson of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.

Following the news of his death, a representative of Lisa Marie said in a statement for E!, “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley [Keough]. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.”

Even today, Lisa Marie feels the same pain and she is still grieving the loss of her son who meant the world to her.

Reports were that Benjamin had a “history of depression” and was “known to abuse alcohol and use illicit drugs, cocaine.”

He went to rehab a number of times but was only able to complete a program once.

Many of his close friends claimed that he ‘felt lost’ and struggled to live in his famous grandfather’s shadow.

Lisa Marie opened up about her son and how his loss impacted her life, saying that Benjamin hated the fact people tried to impersonate Elvis.

In celebration of “National Grief Awareness Day,” Lisa Marie said, “In spite of what some people or our culture would have us believe, grief is something that will follow you around for the rest of your life and you will have no choice but to take it with you. It is not possible to ‘move on’ or ‘get over’ something that has happened to you. Period.”

She further added that mourning can be ‘extremely lonely,’ and that not many people stay around and provide support as time passes by.

“Sadly, that is a reality check for the vast majority of people. Call everyone you know who has experienced the loss of a loved one, regardless of how long it has been since the tragedy occurred, and ask about how they are coping with the loss. Go pay them a visit. They will appreciate it more than you could ever imagine, both now and in the future.

“Support groups that have experienced the same type of loss as you can help a lot. I go to them, and I also host them at my house for surviving parents of children who have died.

“While nothing and I mean nothing at all, can take away the agony, finding support can often help you feel a little bit less alone.”

Lisa Marie said she only finds strength to move on because of her girls whom Benjamin loved to the moon and back.

We are so very sorry Lisa Marie Presley has to go through such pain.

Meghan Markle’s tears at the Queen’s funeral “may or may not be true”, TV host says

As Queen Elizabeth was laid to rest at St. George’s Chapel, next to her father and mother, hundreds of thousands of people gathered together to show their respect for the monarch who ruled the country for 70 years.

The late Queen was a much-loved royal who served her people selflessly and guided her family and the United Kingdom through extraordinary social changes. Besides being a ruler, Queen Elizabeth was also a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Among those in attendance of her funeral, were of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The two kept a low profile during the service.

Meghan wore a black dress but chose not to put on a veil unlike the rest of the female members of the family, including Kate Middleton and Camilla, who has been named Queen Consort. She paid tribute to the late Queen wearing pearls she received from her as a gift.

Meghan was spotted wiping tears from her face, but not everyone believes her crying was genuine.

Today anchor Karl Stefanovic, who doesn’t hide the fact that he’s not fond of the former Suits star, implied that pictures of Meghan wiping away tears might be misleading.

The Duchess of Sussex was standing next to William and Kate’s two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, while waiting for their car after the state funeral. At one moment, she was spotted glancing at Charlotte and giving her a comforting smile.

As he covered the Queen’s funeral for Today, anchor Stefanovic made fun of Meghan for crying at the funeral.

“There’s been lots of photos around and interpretations of photos and reading into photos [meanings] that may or may not be true,” Stefanovic said.

“‘There’s a couple of Meghan, um, with a tear running down her face – apparently – and also even one of Princess Charlotte that everyone was saying she was crying, and we don’t know if it was true or not.”

Despite the rift between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the royals, Meghan has always spoken dearly of her husband’s grandmother.

During the infamous Oprah interview, when allegations were made against The Firm following Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from their royal duties, Meghan explained that she felt very welcome by Queen Elizabeth from the very first moment they met.

“The Queen, for example, has always been wonderful to me. I mean, we had one of our first joint engagements together,” Meghan said at the time.

“She asked me to join her, and I went on the train. And we had breakfast together that morning and she gave me a beautiful gift and I just really loved being in her company, and I know we were in the car—Yeah, she gave me some beautiful pearl earrings and a matching necklace—and we were in the car going between engagements.”

She then added, “And she has a blanket that sits across her, her knees, for warmth and it was chilly and she was like, Meghan, come on, and put it over my knees as well.”

A mother comes to her 8-year-old daughter’s school to pick her up and doesn’t find her, girl returns home at night with baby in her arms

Raising children requires a lot of love, patience, and trust. It is the parents who need to do all in their power in order to shape their children into respected individuals.

Barbara and Edward Hunt, parents of an 8-year-old girl named Madison, decided to move places and settle down in Sausalito, California. When Madison turned eight, Edward insisted that she go to school all by herself. Although Barbara didn’t like the idea, she though it could help her daughter with her self-confidence.

One day, as Barbara felt nostalgic about driving her girl to and from school, she decided she should pick up Madison once her lessons were over.

She parked her car in front of the school and waited for her girl to get out. However, that didn’t happen. Two of Madison’s friends left the school and Barbara was surprised Madison wasn’t with them, but she assumed she was still inside. However, as over 10 minutes passed, the worried mother decided to enter her daughter’s school and see what was going on.

Once in, she spotted Madison’s teacher, Mrs. Blake, who was inside the classroom grading papers. When she saw Barbara, she told her that she was planning on calling her to see if everything was ok with Madison as she missed lessons and didn’t go to school for over a week.

Barbara couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Madison would get out every morning, claiming she was going to school. So, what could have possibly been going on, she kept asking herself.

The first thing this shocked mother did was call her daughter’s number. Madison had a phone and a tiny diary with information about her in case she gets lost. This time, however, she wasn’t answering her phone.

Barbara called her husband and demanded he arrive to school as soon as he could. He was totally puzzled. If Madison wasn’t going to school, then where was she?

The worried parents looked everywhere, but to no avail. Finally, they decided to head home and call the police. But just as they arrived near their family home, they spotted their daughter.

However, as much as they were happy to see her, they were so confused that they could hardly utter a single word. Madison was carrying a baby in her arms. Where could she possibly find a baby when she was still just a child herself?

Barbara and Edward glanced at each other, perplexed, and then the mom asked, “Who’s that baby, Madison? And who was the small boy who just left?” asking about a boy whom they saw waving goodbye to Madison. “Sorry, mommy,” the girl whispered as she lowered her head. “Can we please go inside and talk?”

“No, Madison!” Barbara said sternly. “You need to answer me first! Do you know how worried daddy and I were? We were going to call the police!” Madison shook her head. “No, Mommy! Please! They’re going to take Layla away! Please do not call the cops! I must keep Layla safe!” “Darling,” Edward told Barbara. “Let me handle this, okay? So Madison is the baby’s name, Layla?” he asked. “Where did you find her, honey?”

“Layla is my friend Terrence’s sister, daddy. His granny is sick and cannot care for Layla, and she refuses to go to the hospital because she says the cops will take Layla away. Layla’s parents went to the angel two months ago,” Madison explained.

The parents exchanged looks as they both realized that the baby’s grandma was afraid social services could take the little one away from her.

“And why didn’t you go to class, honey? Mommy called you today, but your phone was turned off,” Barbara said.

“I’m sorry. I go to Terrence’s house every day to look after Layla, so I don’t have time to go to classes… I return home when he gets home from school. We were playing with Layla today, and I didn’t check my phone.

“When I finally decided to call mommy, the phone was dead. Terrence’s granny was very sick today, so Terrence and I spent the entire day caring for her. That’s why I was late. I’m sorry. I didn’t tell you anything because I was scared I wouldn’t be able to play with Layla again.”

At that moment, although they were mad at their daughter for skipping classed, the Hunts were also very proud of her for stepping in for a friend in need.

Madison asked if it was possible for them to take care of the baby.

“Well, honey,” Barbara said. “We can’t keep someone else’s baby like that with us, but daddy and I will figure out a way to help her. Let’s go inside now. It’s getting cold.”

The following day, they visited Layla’s grandma, Mrs. Peterson. As she realized the woman was truly unable to take care of her grandchildren because of her old age, Barbara started spending more time in their house, helping with the kids.

Eventually, Barbara decided to ask Mrs. Peterson to move in with them together with Terrence and Layla.

“I am an old bird, and I am always worried about what will happen to my grandchildren after I die. I’ll be relieved and glad to know they’re in good hands if you take them in,” Mrs. Peterson said. But she eventually agreed to move in with the Hunts who started an adoption process. It took around two months for Layla and Terrence to legally become Barbara and Edward’s children.

Amazing gesture from Prince William and Princess Kate for Prince Harry and Megan Markle

Queen Elizabeth’s passing united her grandsons, Prince William and Prince Harry, in grief.

Their relationship has been a tumultuous one over the past couple of years following Harry’s decision to step down from his royal duties together with his wife Meghan Markle.

Harry claimed that he was trying to defend Meghan from the pressure media and the paparazzi imposed on her, thus trying to prevent his mother’s history with the press to be repeated. He believes it was the media that pushed late Princess Diana into her death as she was forced to live under their watchful eye.

Ever since leaving Britain, Harry and Meghan accused The Firm of a bunch of things, including racism, as they claimed a senior royal questioned the skin of then unborn Archie. Further, Harry claimed that his brother and father have been trapped inside the system, just the way he used to be.

This made Prince William and King Charles angry, with the latter accusing Harry of dragging the family’s name in the mud.

Following the passing of Prince Philip, many were convinced that the brothers would reconciliate, but sadly, that didn’t happen. This time, however, they seem to be on a way to smooth things down between them.

The two stood shoulder to shoulder several times as they marched in processions behind their grandmother’s coffin. Both Meghan and Kate wore black dresses, and the Prince and Princess of Wales invited the Sussexes to look at the tributes and flowers left outside Windsor Castle with them. The four greeted the crowds together and spoke to some of the well-wishers.

However, what caught the attention of many was the gesture William made as Kate and her children were about to take their seats in St. George’s Chapel for the committal service. As Kate was about to go in first to the pew, William asked her to wait and let Harry and Meghan go through first.

We truly hope William and Harry would be able to rebuild their relationship.

Photo of firefighters laying across the lawn goes viral

Not only members of the military, but firefighters too put their lives on the line for the safety of the general public.

It does take lots of physical strength and courage to be doing such a demanding job, and that is the reason why not everyone can be a first responder.

Firefighters are real-life heroes who stand between total destruction and minor burn marks, grabbing the hoses as tight as they can, aware that the safety of either individuals or even the entire country depends on them. But what happens after they finish with the fight for the day is truly heartbreaking.

A firefighter named Pedro Bras and his crew had been fighting against a massive blaze in Portugal in 2017, one that had already killed 64 people. The flames started spreading with incredible speed and the firefighters were not only battling the fire, but they were fighting time as well.

After hours and hours of hard work, these real-life heroes needed to gather their strength, so they took some rest. Bras snapped a photo of the fellow firefighters taking a nap and lying on their coats.

Image Credit: Respeito pelos Bombeiros | Facebook

This is all the break the restless firefighters get when they leave the battleground before duty calls again.

These heroes are taking the much-needed nap with their uniforms on, and their helmets next to them just in case they need to get back and continue their heroic work while completely covered in soot.

Looking at the photo, we better understand the sacrifice all the firefighters make in order for ordinary people to be saved and their homes to be kept untouched by the burning flames.

Once the photo was shared on the social media, it went viral and received a huge number of comments from people who dubbed these people ‘heroes.’

“Portugal’s firefighters resting, this just broke my heart,” one person wrote.

These real-life superheroes are risking their lives as we speak…90% of Portugal’s ‘bombeiros’ are volunteers,” another added.

Ohio boy found killed in his own bed when mom comes to wake him up

A mother from Ohio experienced the worst heartbreak a parent can ever go through after she found her son unresponsive in his bed when she went to his room to wake him up one morning.

Shayne Edwards Jr. was described by many as a loving young man who brought so much joy in the lives of everyone who has ever met him. He loved school and enjoyed being around friends. He was a high school student at Elyria High School and adored his classmates and his teachers.

Kristin Marie, Shayne’s mom, spoke of her son as of a vibrant boy whose company made everyone’s life a bit better. There was never a dull day around this boy with infectious smile.

Shayne was a freshman, and he was looking forward to high school, but then a tragedy struck and his life was cut short in a manner no one could have ever imagined.

In the early morning of September 12, 2022, Kristin went to Shayne’s room to wake him up, expected to be greeted with a smile, like always. Instead, she noticed her son was irresponsive and she could never guess what was going on.

In a state of shock and disbelief, the devastated mother called 911.

Medics stated that the boy was dead and police officers said the boy was killed while sound asleep by a drive-by bullet.

Police Chief William Pelkom at the Elyria Police Department revealed that there was evidence of gunshots toward the late teenager’s home. He said there were at least five people in the house at the time of the shooting, and it couldn’t be determined if the youngster was the intended target.

The news of Shayne’s passing affected the entire community. It was hard to understand that a young life was taken in such horrific manner.

“[Shayne] loved his family unconditionally. And it’s unfortunate that this happened, especially around our neighborhood. You know, we see it, sometimes [from] far away, and it doesn’t hit [us] as hard,” a friend of the family who wanted to stay anonymous said.

Marie, who is grief-stricken and has a hard time accepting the fact that her son is gone penned an emotional post on social media, where she explained that her heart is broken.

“When I wake up tomorrow, my son will only be here in the Spirit. No more hearing his laugh. No more feeling his hugs. No more ‘I love you mom,'” this devastated mother wrote.

Friends of the family started a GoFundMe page to help them with the funeral expenses. So far, around $12,000 have been raised.

“It saddens me to have to write this post, because it’s something you never imagine having to do. Our families are so appreciative of the support and outreach we have received,” a Facebook post by Shayne’s uncle David Alen Axford read.

Elyria Mayor Frank Whitfield held a press conference where he offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.

“This is not normal, and I think it’s important that we don’t treat is at such. This is a 14-year-old boy who was shot and killed. This is not normal, and like many of you, I’m not only grieving, but I’m angry,” Mayor Whitfield said.

The police are hoping they would be able to track down the person who fired the shot which killed this young man.

Please SHARE this story with your family and friends on Facebook to send your prayers to Shayne’s grieving family.
