10-year-old girls tries to take her own life because of bullying – bully’s parents mock her mom

0

Jess Caldcott, Lilly-Jo’s mother, felt as though her world collapsed when she discovered the reason why her daughter became withdrawn, sad, and not willing to go out and do what she once enjoyed doing, like riding her bike and being around the family.

The word bullying was ringing inside her head and she became aware her daughter was a victim of constant terror by the kids who were supposed to be her friends.

Initially, the mother encouraged her daughter to ignore all the bad comments she was getting on a daily basis and she brought up the issue of bullying in front of school officials, but nothing useful came out of it. The teasing and the threatening became even more severe and Jess felt as though she failed at being mother because there was nothing she could do to protect Lilly-Jo. The struggle was real and the girl eventually snapped and did something unthinkable.

A day before her 10th birthday bullying was about to take its toll. That day a young life could be lost all because of the peers who decided to mock and hurt the girl who used to be happy and enjoyed her life to the fullest. It was the day Lilly-Jo tried to commit suicide because she wasn’t able to cope with the way she was treated by her classmates any more.

Jess decided to speak up about her daughter’s condition and raise awareness of the consequences of bullying that is unfortunately part of every educational facility and affects the life of many innocent kids who are way too weak to stand for themselves.

“My daughter is fighting for her life because of bullying.”

This mother told Mirror UK how she knew things were getting even worse when her daughter refused to eat or drink the day before her birthday. It was obvious her health was deteriorating as she confessed that she swallowed tablets in attempt to take her own life.

“I sat her down and she admitted she’d taken some pills. I took her to the GP and he said we should go straight to [the] hospital. I thought my daughter was going to die.”

Fortunately, doctors were able to save her and now she is sharing her story with the world.

Lilly-Jo told Mirror UK:

“[The bully] was staring at me in the changing rooms and calling me fat. She saw me eating two crumpets, a drink and a turkey baguette, that was all I had. I’m scared she’s going to call me fat.”

The bullying was going on for quite some time and the things this brave little girl was forced to go through are simply unthinkable.

“[The bully] has pulled her hair, pushed her, smacked Lilly-Jo and also shut a locker door on Lilly-Jo’s head, stamped on her foot when it was broken – the list is endless… I am disgusted my daughter is being bullied yet nothing is being done about it. Nobody seems to want to help at all…

The day after Lilly overdosed I went round to the parents of the girl who has bullied her and showed them the pictures of her in hospital. I wanted to show them the impact of their daughters’ words but they just laughed at me and swore at me.”

Jess claims that the school officials didn’t offer any significant help but despite her claims, Cath Crossley, the headteacher of Witton Middle School, told Worcester News the school did everything to curb the bullying:

“We were made aware of these bullying allegations and took immediate action, following the relevant school policies and procedures. Face-to-face meetings were organized with myself, the deputy headteacher and our chair of Governors with the families involved and the families have also been working with our support worker.

Our thoughts go out to Lily-Jo and her family at this difficult time.”

Schools should do everything in their power to provide a safe physical and emotional surrounding for their students and incorporate into the system anti-bullying policies that will make sure a safe learning environment is being met.

We hope no other kid will have to endure what Lilly-Jo went through. We pray for her health and we hope she will have a happy life ahead.

5-year-old brother carries baby sister’s coffin to say goodbye for the last time

0

The bond between siblings is the strongest there is. Having a brother or sister means having a friend for life.

Meagan and Laurence Collard, a couple from Western Australia, lived a picture perfect life with their two sons, Franklin and Cayden. However, they always wanted to have a girl and the boys wanted a little sister so when Meagan learned she was pregnant with daughter the entire family was over the moon.

Everyone was in anticipation of meeting the newest addition to the family so when Piper Winifred was welcomed into the world it was the happiest moment in their life.

Baby Piper reached every milestone when she was supposed to, and everything seemed fine with her until she started vomiting one day. Her parents took her to a gastroenterologist and when the little one started experiencing fever, Meagan and Laurence consulted a GP. The girl was diagnosed with an ear infection and was prescribed medication.

Unfortunately, around a month later, Piper went through another similar episode. This time, however, Meagan got extremely concerned because she discovered a hard lump on Piper’s stomach.

This raise a red flag and the girl was again taken to hospital. The blood results indicated HIV, hepatitis or cancer. Hearing this, Meagan got extremely scared because she was somewhat certain her daughter couldn’t possibly have HIV or hepatitis because she was tested for those while pregnant. While they waited for further tests to be done, they prayed Piper didn’t have cancer. Sadly, the news were heartbreaking. Piper had neuroblastoma, a form of cancer commonly found in infants.

At that point, Piper’s cancer had spread from her adrenal glands, to the liver, lymph nodes, abdomen, chest cavity, and ovaries.

The family was aware things wouldn’t be easy, but they were determined to fight for their daughter’s life.

At the age of 11 months, Piper went through five sessions of chemo, a stem transplant surgery, radiation and immunotherapy. Al these procedures were painful and tiring, but Piper started feeling better and it looked like it was all worth it.

Piper was home for Christmas and it seemed like things started to fall into place, but this family’s happiness was short lived.

Their worst fear came true. The cancer was back, and it spread even further than before.

In an attempt to save Piper’s life, her parents tried to place her in an overseas medical trial but they were turned down because the function of her liver was low.

Instead, Piper underwent more chemo sessions in hopes of getting her liver to function a bit better so that they could apply for the trial again. Sadly, after the fourth day of chemo, Piper’s health deteriorated.

On June 17, Meagan and Laurence were told there was nothing that could be done for Piper and told them to take her home. The parents were aware she was living the last days of her life but didn’t know how to tell that to Piper’s brothers.

On June 20, Piper seemed happy and cheerful. She gathered strength to play with her big brothers, but later that day, she started vomiting blood. Meagan called the home nurse, but the only thing she could do was give the little one pain relief meds.

That night, Piper passed away and left her family heartbroken and mourning her loss.

On the day of Piper Winifred’s funeral, her 5-year-old brother Cayden carried her casket. He wanted to hold his little sister for one final time. It was his was of saying goodbye. The sight was heartbreaking and touching at the same time. It showed the love this boy had for his sister and reminded everyone who witnessed the scene that the bond between siblings is unbreakable.

In honor of their little girl who touched their lives forever, her parents shared her story through a Facebook page dedicated to Piper’s fight which aims at raising awareness about neuroblastoma.

Rest in peace, Piper, you are missed and loved.

Two brothers, aged 5 and 7, spent a whole week locked inside their home with their mom’s dead body.

Connie Taylor, 71, was the adoptive mother of the young boys and neighbors said the adoption was only finalized a month before she passed away. Apparently, the woman died of natural causes and collapsed in front of the kids. They tried calling for help, but her phone was locked so they failed to alert 911 of the tragedy.

The boys were only found after one of their teachers got worried and called the police telling them how the brothers didn’t show up at school for a week and no one was answering the phone or called the school.

Connie was described as a loving mother who loved her kids very much. At the moment, the boys are under the care of Connie’s adult biological children.

The tragedy took place in Talty, Kaufman County.

Mom’s creative punishment for her son is getting all the praise from other parents

0

Being a great parent requires a lot of dedication, patience and hard work. So how do you teach a young mind to behave, to follow rules, and be well-mannered? Some parents believe that the best way to achieve all this is through talking. You just talk things through and expect from your child to understand what you are asking from them. Other, however, believe that punishments work best when it comes to teaching their children a lesson. I guess one needs to balance in order to raise their kids right.

One mother shared online that her son got grounded for using his phone after bed time, something he was clearly told he shouldn’t do. But kids will be kids. Most times, they want things to be done their way and object to follow rules.

Well, this mom also shared that in order for her son to get “ungrounded,” he needed to earn 500 points. In case you wonder how those points are earned, she also shared a list of chores which bring certain amount of points. The list goes like this:

Congratulations!
You got grounded!!!
To get rid of your penalty, you must earn 500 points.

Offense: Playing on the mobile phone after bedtime.

  • Write a nice letter to a family member = 10 points
  • Prepare and cook dinner = 50 points
  • 1 load of laundry (get started, hang up, fold) = 100 points
  • Clean and organize a kitchen cupboard = 50 points per shelf
  • Empty the dishwasher = 25 points
  • Load the dishwasher = 25 points
  • Clean and wash off counters = 25 points
  • Clean out microwave  = 40 points
  • Clean and vacuum the living room = 30 points
  • Sweep and mop kitchen = 30 points
  • Wash windows = 10 points per window
  • Water house plants = 10 points
  • Dust living room = 25 points
  • Clean bathroom (sink, toilet and floor) = 50 points
  • Take out trash (and re-bag) = 10 points per garbage bag
  • Clean the litter box = 10 points

The thing is that not many people felt the same with the mother regarding her punishment. Some judged her parenting, but others praised her creativity of teaching her kid a lesson.

Child artist Akiane Kramarik said she saw Jesus’ ‘true’ face in her dreams and decided to paint it on canvas

0

Akiane Kramarik, the girl with incredible artistic talent, took the world by storm when she created what many dubbed a masterpiece of Jesus Christ. She discovered her inner talent at the age of just three when the son of God showed himself to her in her dreams. The little girl was able to put on a canvas the image she saw and believes it was God himself who gifted her with such talent.

Her paintings, which are realistic beyond belief, brought her fame and everyone seemed to learn about this child prodigy. She was even invited on The Oprah Winfrey Show at the age of ten where she spoke about her visions and her talent.

The strangest thing of all is that Akiane’s parents, who are of Lithuanian origin, are atheists. They never introduced their daughter with any religion. Still, Akiane claimed that her visions and vivid dreams were real.

One of the most remarkable paintings on Jesus is the one titled “Prince of Peace,” which Akiane completed at the age of just eight.

“I was so young but I started having these visions and impressions of the world.

“I was just so surprised at the impeccable images I had in my head that I just had to express them in some sort of physical matter,” Akiane explained.

As he dreams and visions quickly lost clarity, she tried to put them on canvas using paints and brushes as quickly as she could.

Speaking of God, in an interview with CNN at the age of 12, she described him “like a bow of light, really pure, really masculine, really strong, and big…His eyes are just beautiful.”

As of Heaven, Akaine said, “All the colors were out of this world. There are hundreds of millions of colors that we don’t know yet. The flowers were very crystal clear…”

Today, Akaine is 27 years old and is working as a poet and an artist. Her piece “Prince of Peace,” was allegedly locked in a bank vault for many years after it was sold to a private collector for $850,000.

What a talented young lady.

If you are impressed by Akaine’s work as much as we are, please SHARE this article with your family and friends on Facebook!

When police receive a letter from a 9-year-old girl, they find $10 bill stuffed inside and take immediate action

0

Chances are your parents “threatened” to call the police on you when you misbehaved as a young child. Sadly, many parents do this and that makes police officers bad and scary people in the eyes of the youngsters.

One 9-year-old girl named Brooke Yost had a feeling that cops are not good people because she knew they place people behind bars, not knowing that what they really do is make sure their community stays safe.

So, one day, as she was waiting in a queue to buy a dozen donuts at a gas station, she realized she didn’t have enough money. She got nervous, and that feeling only grew bigger when she noticed a police officer standing behind her. For some reason, she believed that because of her lack of money, the officer would arrest her. Of course, that wasn’t what happened. Instead, the officer, who didn’t want her to leave the place empty-handed, paid for the donuts.

Ashamed and scared, Brooke grabbed the donuts, said thank, you and left the store.

However, once home, she realized that her thank you didn’t sound genuine, although she was truly grateful. In order to make things right, she decided to write a thank you note. Along with it, she put $10 for the officer in the envelope she sent to the police station.

“My name is Brooke and I am 9 years old. I was at Sheetz and I didn’t have enough money. A nice police officer behind me kindly paid for my item. I thanked him but I felt bad because I didn’t offer him the money I had. So I am donating this money. I want to thank this officer again. Stay safe, Brooke,” the note read.

The letter got to officer Chad Savannah, who paid for the donuts. Brooke’s letter touched his heart. The rest of the officers got emotional as well.

They were glad Brooke sent her gratitude and instead of taking her money, they bought her a $50 gift card. Brooke, however, stunned them again when she decided not to buy anything for herself but donated the card to charity. The officers then decided to welcome her to the station and give her a tour around it, explaining more about the job they do.

Once the story went viral, everyone praised Brooke’s act. Along with that, many agreed that her parents did a right job raising such a loving and considerate child.

“We’re trying to teach our kids right. That’s all we’re trying to do is teach them the right thing to do and to take care of what they owe for. We felt that she owed for them donuts,” Brooke’s mom said.

What a lovely story during these hard times for the humanity.

3 men approach a 77-year-old grandmother at an ATM: They immediately realize that they have chosen the wrong person for the robbery

0

The elderly have been on this planet long enough in order to gather all the knowledge about life and learn how things work, so massing with them is never a good idea.

Interestingly enough, three youngsters who wanted to act criminals learned this firsthand. We are sure they won’t even try getting near old people in the near future. This story may also teach others a lesson before they even try making something as stupid as these gangsters tried to do.

It was a day just like any other for 77-year-old grandma Winifred Peel. She was out taking a walk when she decided to stop at the nearest ATM. That’s when she encountered Piper Dumitru, Florin Geblescu, and Felix Stoica. They had a ‘perfect plan’ that went down the drain when they realized they messed with the wrong person.

As the lady tried to withdraw some cash, she could suddenly feel someone was standing behind her. She very quickly realized how it wasn’t someone waiting in line, but a thief who was there for her money. The person knocked Peel off balance while his friend tried to get £200.

She knew they planned this action as she recalled seeing them the day before. They were following her from the moment she got out of the bank.

This quick-thinking lady knew she mustn’t let those youngsters make her a victim, so she grabbed one of them by the collar and banged his head on the ATM using all her strength. She then alerted the police about the incident.

The officers who came to the scene were able to track the three men down. They were charged and are now where they deserve to be; behind bars. Peel was relieved to learn the attackers were jailed, and says that although she hoped they would serve some jail time, she initially believed they would just be told off.

This incident affected Peel in a way she never though it could affect her. She told Metro, “They did not care about how this would affect me. I would definitely say this has changed my life, I will never have the confidence I once did. I only hope my confidence returns.”

We are lucky this fierce lady wasn’t injured, although she now fears that someone could attack her again. However, thanks to her courage, as well as the fact that she was a regular gym visitor in her 70s, she could get out of that situation as a winner.

Thugs believe the elderly are an easy target, but luckily there are more people like Winifred, who fight back when they find themselves in trouble. Just take a look at the video below. It shows a pensioner who pushes back against the robber who attacks him at the ATM and throws in a bunch of punches.

Next time you think elderly people are an easy target, think again.
