Most couples dream of welcoming a baby in their life once they get married. For some, these things go very smoothly, but others struggle to conceive.
The couple from this story belonged to the latter. Although they did all in their power to have a baby, things didn’t go as planned. So after getting pregnant naturally and experiencing miscarriages both times, they turn to IVF. It was quite a pricey procedure, but they were willing to go to any length for a bundle of joy.
The pregnancy was going well, and nothing spoke of trouble. The baby seemed to be perfectly healthy.
On the day of the delivery, when the cute little girl was welcomed into the world, it was discovered that she had a mild form of limb deformity, with her feet being twisted inwards. The family was told it could be fixed surgically, but the father got very angered that he refused to hold the baby.
But he, his mother, and his sister started arguing with the doctors and went totally hysteric, leaving the baby’s mom in complete shock.
After doctors tried to explain that the girl would be completely normal following the corrective surgery, the father said he wouldn’t be paying for such a thing.
In the next moment, he and his part of the family fled the hospital.
A couple of days later, the woman’s mother called her son-in-law to plead him to reconsider his decision, but she learned that he had discreetly filed for divorce a day after his daughter was born.
We can’t imagine that there are people like this father who run away the moment the first obstacle comes on the way.

This is the story of Paul, a 91-year-old man who got teased by a group of bikers, and as you already assume, his knowledge and experience helped him get his revenge.

Namely, Paul was at a diner having a piece of an apple pie and a cup of coffee. He enjoyed his peace when three bikers entered the place. They sat at the corner and approached Paul one by one. The first biker extinguished his cigarette in Paul’s pie and returned to his friends laughing. The second one spit in the old man’s coffee, and the third biker shattered Paul’s dish on the ground.
The bikers were very proud of their mean action as they thought that being rude and disrespectful made them fierce. However, what they didn’t know is that they messed with the wrong person.

Throughout the whole time, Paul remained collected and calm. He paid for his food and left the diner. The waitress went to the bikers and asked them what they wanted. But before ordering, they were quick to brag with what they did to Paul, saying, “The old geezer isn’t much of a man, is he?” The waitress looked at them with a smile on her face and said, “He also isn’t much of a truck driver, as he just backed over your motorcycles.”
Well, they got what they deserved.

Following her performance in Monster’s Ball, actress Halle Berry earned an Oscar and became the first ever African American woman who has won this prestigious award.
Born on August 14, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio, as the youngest daughter of Jerome and Judith Berry, an interracial couple, Berry’s childhood was filled with plenty of challenges. In the early 1970s, her father abandoned her mother who moved her family to the predominantly white Cleveland suburb of Bedford.
The only time she spoke of her father was in 1992 when she said “I haven’t heard from him since he left. Maybe he’s not alive.”
Studying at a school attended by nearly whites-only, she was a subject of discrimination and bullying. However, facing racism at an early age didn’t break her spirit, it only made her stronger and more determined to achieve greatness in life.
Throughout high-school, Berry was included in plenty of extracurricular activities and was a newspaper editor, class president and head cheerleader, among the rest.
Soon after, she pursued a modeling career ending being first runner-up in the Miss USA competition in 1985.
Berry moved on to attend Cleveland’s Cuyahoga Community College where she studies broadcast journalism, but just as she was about to earn her degree, she decided to drop put and focus solely on a career in the entertainment industry.
She moved to New York where she worked as a model before landing a role in Living Dolls, following a role in the CBS prime-time drama Knots Landing.
Berry had her big breakthrough playing late Dorothy Dandridge in an HBO movie about the singer. For it, she won an Emmy and Golden Globe.
“I remember winning the Golden Globe and thinking that this was the epitome of life. I had a marriage, I had a daughter I had these awards. I had paid homage to my hero (Dandridge). I was thinking that my life was too good to be true. I said that so many times, it turned out that it really was too good to be true.”
Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s her career only went upwards and she landed roles in a number of prominent movies, including the film adaptation of the X-men comic book series. She appeared as Storm in X-Men (2000), X2: X-Men United (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014). She also starred in Swordfish, and Die Another Day, among the rest.
Besides being an actress, Berry is also an entrepreneur who has launched her fragrance line in 2009. She has been an ambassador for several brands, such as Revlon, Versace, and Michael Kors, and has supported charitable causes related to domestic violence, cancer research, and mental health awareness.
In 2020, Berry, who’s a mom of two, made her directorial debut with the Netflix movie Bruised which follows the story of a disgraced MMA fighter who looks for redemption and tries to regain custody of her son.

The Palace, however, has not revealed what kind of cancer the King has, or where he is receiving treatment. “No further details are being shared at this stage, except to confirm that His Majesty does not have prostate cancer,” the Palace stated.
During the time of receiving treatment, the King would postpone public-facing duties.
His majesty is grateful to the medical professionals for their swift intervention.
King Charles made the decision to make the news of his diagnosis public in order to prevent speculations, as well as to raise awareness about cancer and support those battling the same disease.
According to medical professionals, the King’s cancer might be near his prostate; in his liver, stomach, or lung.
Dr. Stuart Fischer from New York said, “Usually, people don’t die from prostate cancer itself. There are medicines to help, like anti-testosterones, which can stop the cancer from spreading.”
He added: “If the cancer has spread to places like the lung and liver, it’s hard to treat. If that’s the case, he might have a few years left to live, if he’s lucky.”
Another doctor, Dr. Gabe Mirkin, spoke to Radar and explained that the King’s cancer was discovered while they examined him with a sonogram, CT scan, or MRI.
“When cancer spreads to other organs, usually people don’t live longer than five years,” Mirkin said.
We truly hope that King Charles would be able to overcome any obstacles that come on his way to fully recovery.

Reba McEntire delivered a powerful rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ before the Super Bowl game between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.
Wearing a bedazzled pair of black jeans and a metallic beige blazer accessorized with a big-buckled belt, the 68-year-old country superstar stole the attention of players, coaches, Super Bowl attendees and military service members around the world who watched from the comfort of their home.
Reba nailed the performance with both talent and emotion and brought many to tears.
The cameras caught Chiefs All-Pro defensive lineman Chris Jones getting lost in the lyrics and visibly crying.
As the National Anthem came to an end, a U.S. Navy flyover also soared over Allegiant Stadium.
“So much emotions going around tonight,” a fan wrote of Reba’s performance on X.
“This was pretty awesome,” wrote another. “Kudos to #KansasCityChiefs DT Chris Jones for his raw emotion during the National Anthem.”
As well as Reba, pre-game entertainment came from Post Malone and Andra Day.
Although this was the first time Reba performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, she has performed ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ plenty of time throughout her career. What’s most, she was discovered while singing the anthem some 50 years ago at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma, and that was the start of an incredibly rich career spanning decades.

The British royals seem to be having a lot on their plate recently. This last month had been a hectic one, with Kate Middleton undergoing an abdominal surgery which requires plenty of time for recovery and King Charles being diagnosed with cancer.
According to the Palace, the Princess of Wales would only be able to return to her royal duties around Easter, although she does some work from home even now.
Kate’s planned abdominal surgery shook things a bit not only for her but for her husband as well. Just like Kate, William was also forced to either postpone or reschedule many of his royal duties during her hospital stay because he needed to take care of the couple’s three children who hadn’t visited their mother at the London Clinic.

William had the help of the family’s nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo.
Borrallo has been with the family since Prince George was just 8 months old.
“She is not married and doesn’t have a boyfriend, as her life is totally dedicated to the family she is working with. She is known for being totally professional – married to the job,” an insider told Hello Magazine.
When the couple are away from home, the nanny makes all the decisions regarding the children.
Borallo was trained at the prestigious Norland College in Bath. “Maria is firm, but she never acts unilaterally with the children on discipline. Kate and William, along with Maria, are strict with the children but have this magic ability to appear not to be,” a royal insider said.

When she was hired, Kensington Palace released a statement: “Maria is a full-time nanny who started work with us recently and will be accompanying the Duke and Duchess and Prince George to New Zealand and Australia. We will not be giving further details on Maria or her employment, except to say that the Duke and Duchess are, of course, delighted she has chosen to join them.”
Speaking with Hello Magazine, parenting expert Jo Frost explained that Maria is a very important person for William, Kate, and their children.
“The blessing of her nurturing ways and wonderful service to the family leave the children in good steady hands, affording William the flexibility to be present as a father, attend to his royal duties where he can at home and be the emotional support he will want to be for his wife,” she said.

As of William, royal biographer Angela Levin states that he now faces a “difficult time” having to balance between his work and his private life. On top of that, his brother Harry was in Britain, and as we all know the relationship between the two is still a rocky one. The royal expert said that William “got used to Harry being rude, unkind and attacking his wife.”
“It’s very hard for him. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with Harry at the moment, and you can’t blame him. Because he’s been so rude and told untruths about both William and Catherine,” Angela Levin told GB News.
“I don’t know how you completely can change that. It’s difficult, isn’t it? It’s difficult to completely turn over a relationship and forget all the past. I don’t think people can do that.”

Isabel Webster, the host of the GB News show, said she believed the Prince could feel “lonely” at this time.
“This is somebody who’s estranged from his brother, he lost his mother in tragic circumstances, recently lost his granny, who was one of the few who understood the responsibility he faces,” she said. “And one of his uncles is disgraced; now his father and wife are both unwell.”
Levin responded: “Harry said to me when I was writing his biography that he and William couldn’t be closer, we trust each other totally. We are together. We have the most amazing relationship because we’ve had the same experiences, terrible, difficult experiences. But now that’s not the case.”
On Wednesday night, Prince William attended London’s Air Ambulance Charity Gala Dinner. There, he held a speech and thanked everyone for their kind wishes regarding both his wife as well as his father, King Charles, who was diagnosed with cancer on Monday.
“Good evening everyone. Thank you all for being here. And thank you to those whose hard work has made this evening possible. I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you, also, for the kind messages of support for Catherine and for my father, especially in recent days. It means a great deal to us all. It’s fair to say the past few weeks have had a rather ‘medical’ focus. So I thought I’d come to an air ambulance function to get away from it all,” William said.

Earlier that day, the Prince of Wales held an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, where he handed out more than 50 honors. Among the recipients was Patricia Sprouse who later took to LinkedIn to share the news of her honor. In her post, she revealed some details regarding Kate and the much-needed help she gets.
“What an amazing experience, the castle was just breathtaking, everyone was so lovely to us as we were just in awe of everything,” Sprouse wrote on LinkedIn. “Prince William said that Catherine had two Filipino nurses looking after her and they were amazing and kind.”

If you ever need advice from people who are not biased, Reddit is the place to be. The AITA subreddit thread is filled with stories of people who want to know if they are in the wrong for acting in a certain way.
A woman shared a story of a family matter which shows the complexity of the relationship within the members of the family, especially the in-laws.
Namely, she wrote that she and her partner Nick had been together for nearly four years. According to her, she and Nick’s family got along well. She would spend the holidays at her in-laws and they would exchange presents. But during an occasion, she learned they didn’t feel that close to her, nonetheless.
As the woman explained, her partner’s family always took a yearly vacation together. This year, she wanted to be part of it, of course, covering her own expenses for the trip.
But when she asked her future mother-in-law if she could go with them, the MIL said no. Her explanation was that OP wasn’t part of the family.
OP was both confused and hurt. When she told that to her partner, he said she shouldn’t be mad because she wasn’t the only one who was left out and that no one significant other had been invited.
The family proceeded with the trip while OP stayed home.
Some time later, as autumn hit, OP decided to invite Nick’s family over and treat them dinner she had prepared herself, including her family chili recipe that everyone loved.
During dinner, Nick’s mom asked OP if she could have the recipe, but OP said no because it was a family recipe kept under wraps. The MIL then said, “But aren’t we a family,” to what OP answered, “Well, according to you, we’re not.”
The MIL was caught by surprise, and she simply said, “Oh, okey,” before leaving the place. Nick got mad at OP for saying that to his mom and hadn’t talk to her in days.
OP, however, believes she’s not in the wrong for refusing to share her family recipe with someone who obviously didn’t consider as such.
Redditors took her side and said she wasn’t in the wrong.
“It’s unimaginable to find out after four years of dating that they don’t consider you family,” one person commented.
“After three months of our dating, my husband’s mother invited me into their family for the first time! I would reconsider my status not only in the eyes of his family but also in his own if he treated me like this even during the years of our relationship and my husband was fine. How they see you is more important than a meal or a trip,” user Haillordvecna wrote.
“Just because they’re hypocrites makes you guilty. With normal individuals, there wouldn’t be a problem. I’d ask Nick to clarify what this very different circumstance is. Family vacations are meant to be spent with family. You’re not family.(he says). Family members use only family recipes. She claims she is not related to them. Make sense of it!” someone added.
“Let’s review that last part. According to his mother, you’re not related, and he didn’t fight. He didn’t advocate for you. He didn’t stay home for support. That’s really charming. Do you really want to spend your life with someone who seems okay with cutting you out of your life?
I think you learned something useful about this man and his family, and it’s not pretty. I believe couples counseling is necessary if you wish to keep this relationship going. Go without him and discuss it with an impartial third party if he refuses to go,” a third added.

When one decides to get a tattoo, what they need to have in mind is that it’s permanent. Choosing the ‘wrong’ design can be painful, costly, and inconvenient.
I don’t thing anyone would like to be stuck with the wrong tattoo for life. Sadly, people sometimes make mistakes and have regrets.
A young woman has gone viral after learning the lesson of getting the wrong tattoo the hard way. She and her best friend did matching tattoos but the final result was nothing less than disappointing.
The design was supposed to commemorate their relationship and serve as a sentimental reminder to the pair, but what they ended up with wasn’t what they had in mind.
After seeing her tattoo, Alaina Nicole shared her feelings regarding it on TikTok. She was reduced to tears and couldn’t hide her dissatisfaction.

What’s most, her followers agreed that the work done was a bit shocking and pretty awful.
One of the people who took their time to comment under Alaina’s video said the tattoo artist pranked her and her friend intentionally. “Whoever did this knew. They knew,” they wrote.
“The tattoo ‘artist’ knew what they were doing,” another person added.

There were also those who believed that the artist only followed directions and it was probably what the two friends wanted, they were just unaware that the final result would look exactly like that on their bodies.

“I think it’s the placement. It should be on fingers, not your arm,” someone else expressed their opinion.
There were also those who came up with ideas on how to fix the design. “What if you each completed the other half and then coloured in opposite halves? That could be a potential fix,” someone wrote.
“Finish the butterfly and colour one side. She does the same and colours the opposite side,” another added.
The caption of the video Alaina shared on TikTok read, “When you try to get cute matching bestie tattoos and you get two limp d***s instead!”
Later on, she added that they fixed the design by completing the other part of the butterfly. This time, they tattoos can be mistaken for anything else.
