Baby called ‘hideous’ is a gorgeous little girl now

Every person is beautiful in their own way, and the same goes for the newborn babies.

When a baby girl named Angelica was born in 2018, her family was overjoyed. She had beautiful facial features and a heart-shaped port wine stain which made her even more special. Sadly, not everyone saw the beauty of her unique mark.

According to Angelica’s mom, her family accepted her the way she is and even love her birthmark, but there have been those who give themselves the right to comment on this girl’s looks.

“The worst comment online that I’ve gotten is when someone asked if her face had been pushed onto a skillet. Basically, saying her face looked grilled,” Angelica’s mom, Marianna Bowering told the Mirror.

Marianna further said that there were times when her daughter was labeled “hideous” and a “defect.” This affected the family in a negative way and only added to the challenged they faced, but they were determined to overcome the negative effects of the mean words and comments.

No matter what others said, Angelica’s family taught her to love herself the way she is.

In order to help her daughter feel better, Marianna decided to paint her face with what resembled a birthmark just like the one of Angelica.

“I got the idea from vascular birthmark awareness day, where they encourage people to paint a heart on the cheeks,” the mom said, according to The Epoch Times. “Initially I just did the heart with my makeup look but then I thought why don’t I go all out and do Angelica’s port wine stain.”

Whenever someone tried to ‘comfort’ Marianna that her daughter’s mark would eventually fade away or that she could hide it with makeup once she gets older only crushed this mother even more as she couldn’t help but wonder if Angelica would be forced to hide her natural beauty instead of embracing it.

It was a reminder that societies have these norms about what a person needs to look like in order to fit the group and be accepted.

Her family has always told Angelica that she should love herself for who she is. There were times when Marianna would cover her daughter’s wine port stain with glitter so that it could shine bright.

“Thankfully, we’ve done tests and Angelica is totally healthy,” Marianna said of her girl, referring to the fact that children with these types of birthmarks can develop other health conditions. “We just need to have regular check-ups, especially for her eyes as glaucoma can be a concern.”

Harry’s 3-word verdict on King Charles at the coronation – he was moaning about his life, according to a lip reader

Harry’s presence at his father’s coronation was a widely discussed topic ahead of the big event. It was made public that both he and his wife, Meghan Markle, had been invited to the ceremony, but according to the press, they had conditions if they were about to attend what was dubbed the mark of the new era for Britain.

While thousands of people filled the streets of London and many distinguished guests were in attendance, the number of those watching the new King being crowned from the comfort of their home reached 20 million.

Prince Harry was there to support his father, but Meghan stayed in California with the couple’s two children, Archie, who celebrated his fourth birthday on the same day his grandfather was made King, and sweet Lili.

Following the Westminster Abbey ceremony, the royals, including William and Kate and their three children, appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony, but Harry, as a non-working royal, wasn’t invited there. Allegedly, he and Meghan asked to appear on the balcony if they were to attend the coronation, but their wish was obviously not fulfilled and Harry had to settle with only being part of the coronation as a guest.

For the occasion, the Prince, who had his first public appearance after the release of his memoir Spare at the coronation, wore a black custom Dior three-piece suit with coattails. He was not allowed to wear his military uniform as he’s not a working royal following the Megxit when he and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and left Britain behind.

On his neck, Harry wore an honorary cross and had his military medals pinned to the left side of his chest. The star around his neck indicates he is the “Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order” (RVO). Further, it honors his personal service to the monarch of the Commonwealth.

During the procession, Harry didn’t walk alongside his brother William, but other royals. He was then seated next to his cousin Princess Eugenie, who is said to be the only royal to have visited Harry and Meghan in the US, and her husband, Jack Brooksbank. Harry got to sit just two rows behind Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as two of their three children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

“There were discussions that the seating could be arranged on line of succession. But that would have put fifth-in-line Harry front and centre — and with William and Kate,” a source told The Sun.

“Instead the decision was working royals only at the front and work back from there. Harry will be a long way from his father.”

Before the ceremony started, Harry could be seen chatting with Jack Brooksbank, and according lip-reading expert Jerey Freeman, one of the things Harry said was, “I’m fed up with the way they treat me.”

As per The Sun, he also caught Harry saying: “It’s not an ideal situation,” to what Brooksbank replied: “If I can make you feel any better, and even I can do it. It’s not the quiet life, is it?”

“They don’t care,” Harry answered. Jack Brooksbank added: “I haven’t time for that, not if it’s over…”

“It’s an eventuality,” Harry concluded.

Language expert Judi James says Harry made an ‘ignoring’ gesture towards his brother once he arrived at Westminster Abbey.

“Harry performed what looked like an oddly-times act of ignore or attention diversion as his father, brother, and sister-in-law walked in a procession in front of him,” James told the Mirror.

“Harry had been chatting animatedly to [Princess Beatrice’s husband] Edoardo, jerking a thumb over his shoulder at one point, sharing a giggling laugh that seemed to involve his tongue placed between his teeth, and then doing a mutual, mirrored eye gaze with a matching lip clamp smile to Edo that seemed to signal mutual sympathy or empathy.”

Further, she added: “Harry was looking up as Charles, William and Kate arrived to walk past but after looking at his father, Harry turned his head to speak to Eduardo again in a very odd way at a crucial point in the ceremony when all eyes and attention were on Charles and William’s arrival.”

The relationship between Harry and his father and brother, especially with William, seems to be at the rock bottom.

Meghan and Harry’s friend shares picture of Archie – inside his ‘low-key’ fourth birthday party

May 6th marked the beginning of a new era for Britain when Charles was crowned the King. The splendid ceremony was celebrated by thousands of people on the streets of London and was attended by a great number of royals and other prominent guests such as presidents and prime ministers.

However, as Charles ascended the throne, another significant royal celebration took place across the Atlantic in sunny California. Prince Archie, the son of Harry and Meghan turned four.

Before the coronation took place, the couple made it clear that if they were to attend it, they wanted their young son’s birthday to be acknowledged.

At the end, Harry was the only one who was there to support his father on his big day while Meghan stayed home with the children and was getting ready for what was described as a ‘low-key’ birthday celebration.

Omid Scobie, royal expert, spoke of the significance of Archie’s birthday in Meghan’s choice to remain in the US and not to accompany her husband in London.

“I understand that Archie’s fourth birthday (also on May 6) played a factor in the couple’s decision. Expect it to be a fairly quick trip to the UK for Prince Harry, who will only be attending the coronation at Westminster Abbey,” Scobie wrote on Twitter.

Well, although Meghan missed the coronation, Charles still acknowledged his grandson whom he rarely sees when he reportedly raised a glass in a heartfelt toast to celebrate Archie turning four. This happened during the private gathering which took place shortly after King Charles was crowned at Westminster Abbey and the family’s appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony in London which Harry didn’t attend despite being invited.

It was said that Harry was in a rush to catch a plane back home and celebrate Archie’s birthday. He also wanted to get on time to put his son to sleep following the birthday celebration. According to reports, Harry boarded a plane at 3:45 pm and landed in Los Angeles at approximately 6:55 pm local time.

Archie’s birthday was attended by close family members and friends and sources close to the family said his birthday cake was a lemon cake with fruits from the Sussexes’ garden baked by Meghan herself.

Photographer Misan Harriman, a close friend of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, wished Archie a happy birthday with a photo, screenshot of the Netflix documentary, showing baby Archie touching a photograph of late Princess Diana.

Many found this cute, but there were also those who said that the photo was an intention to overshadow Charles’ coronation.

Birthday wishes came pouring in as a number of fans sent messages to the Sussexes.

”Happy Birthday, Archie,” someone wrote. ”We love you and your family. We hope to see pictures soon. Blessings. We celebrate you. Today is great because of you.”

We wish Prince Archie a very happy birthday and many more to come.

Man who lived homeless for years saves baby in stroller from rolling onto busy highway at the last second

Not all heroes wear capes, and a man named Ron Nessman is the perfect proof of that.

This man has been homeless for several years before he finally found a place to call home when he moved in with his sister Donna just recently. Having started his life over, the next step was finding a job. So, Ron went to a job interview one day, but little did he know that it would be the day when a deed he made would turn him into a real-life hero.

Ron’s act was caught on what many dubbed a heart-stopping video showing a stroller with a baby inside rolling towards a busy highway in Hesperia, California.

As the stroller starts rolling, the baby’s minder, which was later reported was its great-aunt, falls on the ground and is unable to stand on her feet in order to catch the stroller.

Ron found himself in the right place at the right time and witnessed the entire thing. He was then forced to make a split-second decision when he noticed the stroller and he simply ran towards it as fast as he could.

“I knew I could get it and I got it,” Ron told KTLA. “And I’m thankful for that because I really wouldn’t want to see the end result if I wasn’t there.”

Ron then expressed sympathy for the woman who was taking care of the baby and said she did all in her power to catch the stroller.

“She tried everything she possibly could to get up,” he said. “Her knees were bleeding when I got up to her she was still shocked and she was crying.”

As of the rescue, he said, “I noticed the stroller was going towards the traffic and I instinctively ran towards the stroller and dived before it went into the traffic and there was a child inside the stroller.

“I was thankful I was at the right place at the right time.”

Meg Ryan makes first appearance in 6 months – and fans say she looks ‘unrecognizable’

Meg Ryan, the America’s sweetheart who was dubbed the “girl next door,” gained fame during the 80’s and 90’s. Landing roles in movies which are considered iconic even today, such as Sleepless in Seattle, she quickly rose to stardom and became a fan favorite actress.

Today, Ryan, who is 61, tends to stay out of the spotlight. In fact, she hasn’t been spotted anywhere for six months, until recently when she made a public appearance to lend support to friend Michael J. Fox at a screening of his forthcoming production, STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie.

The two friends posed together and were all smiles. It was obvious they had a lovely time together, but what many noticed is that Ryan looked somewhat ‘unrecognizable.’

Fans argued that the You’ve Got Mail star has undergone surgical procedures to appear younger, although she spoke of plastic surgeries before and said she hadn’t had any.

Some of the opinions shared online regarding Ryan’s looks were far from flattering.

“This is Meg Ryan,” one Twitter user commented. “Hopefully women will learn from this. Plastic Surgery is for Frankenstein.

“Meg Ryan spent thousands to make herself unrecognizable and hideous,” another added.

“Wtf has Meg Ryan done to her face?!” a third wrote.

One person wrote: “Yikes…just say no to Botox and fillers ladies. Don’t take it from me, take it from Madonna and Meg Ryan.”

In the past, Ryan has made it clear that she’s not affected by the mean comments about her. “I don’t pay a lot of attention, frankly,” she told Porter Magazine in 2015. “There’s a lot of hatred in the world today. It’s so easy to judge. Imagine being a hater, how stupid.”

The screening of Michael J. Fox’s forthcoming production was held at the Alice Tully Hall in the Lincoln Center, New York. Ryan appeared to be at good spirits as she got to meet and pose with Billy Murray and Elvis Costello, among the rest.

STILL: A Michael J. Fox Movie features the Back to the Future star’s life with Parkinson’s disease.

He disclosed his condition with the public in 1998 and semi-retired from acting two years later as his health worsened. It took young Michael a lot of time to accept the reality, but he finally decided to make the best out of his life despite the struggles the disease forced him to face.

“Parkinson’s sucks, but it’s a great life, so thank you for it,” the actor said. “Pity is a benign form of abuse. I can feel sorry for myself, but I don’t have time for that. There is stuff to be learned from this, so let’s do that and move on,” he continued.

“You don’t die from Parkinson’s. You die with Parkinson’s. I’ve been thinking about the mortality of it. … I’m not gonna be 80. I’m not gonna be 80.”

Bride killed just moments after saying ‘I Do’

Aric Hutchinson and Samantha Miller had both said ‘I do’ and looked forward to their life as a married couple, but sadly, their happiness was short-lived after what was supposed to be the best night of their lives ended with a tragedy.

Mere hours after exchanging their vows, the newlyweds left their reception on Folly Beach, an island off the coast of South Carolina, through a canopy of sparklers, and boarded into the back of the low speed vehicle (LSV), a street legal cart, similar to a golf cart. The cart was operated by Aric’s relatives, Benjamin and Brogan Garrett, who were seated at the front. They were just two blocks away from where Aric and Samantha stayed, when a vehicle operated by Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, slammed into the back of the LSV.

Komorski was driving a rent-a-car Toyota.

Tragically, Samantha died of blunt force injuries at the scene of the crash, according to the coroner’s office, while Aric was heavily injured, suffering head injury and broken bones. He remains in critical condition. Benjamin was also seriously injured and hospitalized, with nephew, Brogan facing injuries but being released from hospital on Friday.

Komorski was said to be under the influence at the time of the crash. Data retrieved from her rental car indicated she was driving 65 mph in a 25 mph zone, and only briefly hit the brakes before crashing around 10 p.m. Friday on Folly Beach. It was confirmed by the Safety Department Director Andrew Gilreath that the LSV had lights and was legal to drive at night.

“I don’t know what the distraction was, but she literally ran into my daughter going 65 miles an hour. Sammie and Aric were on the back of the golf cart and so she basically just whammed my child,” Samantha’s heartbroken mother, who had danced with her daughter just hours before the tragic crash, said.

“We were in our pajamas sitting on the balcony…and started to hear the sirens. And the sirens kept going,” Samantha’s sister, Mandi Jenkins, said. After she texted her sister and there was no response, they drove to the scene and what they saw was horrifying.

Komoroski was charged with reckless vehicular homicide and three counts of driving under the influence causing death. She is facing up to 25 years in prison on each DUI count.

At the police station, Komorski refused to provide a breath sample, but a warrant was issued for two viles of blood, results that are not yet available.

Aric’s mother, Annette Hutchinson, started a GoFundMe page to help with her son’s medical bills and Samantha’s funeral costs.

“Aric is in serious condition and has had one of two reconstruction surgeries, numerous broken bones, and a brain injury, he will have a long recovery. Ben and Brogan were also injured, Ben seriously.” She added: “I was handed Aric’s wedding ring in a plastic bag at the hospital, five hours after Sam placed it on his finger and they read each other their vows. Aric has lost the love of his life.” This campaign has raised almost $600,000 on Wednesday of its $100,000 goal.

Another GoFundMe page started by Samantha’s sister Mandi helped raise almost $37,000 of its $10,000 goal.

“Samantha was fearless and that’s exactly how she spent the last day of her life. She was so excited to start her life with Aric. She had no nerves or hesitation that day. You could feel the love on the beach.”

We are so very sorry for this devastating loss. May she rest in peace.

Queen Camilla’s grandson suffered major injury before coronation

King Charles and Queen Camilla received their royal crowns at Westminster Abbey in the presence of other royals and prominent guests who witnessed the historic moment.

The coronation that Britain hasn’t seen in over 70 years was celebrated by thousands of fans in the streets of London.

The event started with ‘The King’s Procession,’ when they arrived at Westminster from Buckingham Palace. First came the Recognition, where King Charles – standing beside the Coronation Chair – was presented to the people gathered at the Abbey by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The ceremony then proceeded with the Anointing when the King’s ceremonial robe was removed, and he took his place in the Coronation Chair. The Archbishop of Canterbury anointed the king’s head, breast, and hands with holy oil while a golden cloth was held over the chair to conceal Charles from cameras and those present in the Abbey.

King Charles III was presented with the Royal Orb, which stands for moral and religious authority, the Sceptre, which represents power, and the Sovereign’s Sceptre, a symbol of justice and mercy.

Following the crowning of the King and the Queen, they returned to Buckingham Palace in a ceremonial procession known as ‘The Coronation Procession.’

Both Charles and Camilla had four Pages of Honor who were holding their robes during the ceremony as they walked through Westminster Abbey.

“Throughout the Coronation Service on 6th May, Their Majesties will each be attended by four Pages of Honour. The Pages will form part of the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey,” a statement from Buckingham Palace read.

“The King’s Pages of Honour will be His Royal Highness Prince George of Wales, Lord Oliver Cholmondeley, Master Nicholas Barclay and Master Ralph Tollemache.”

The Queen Consort’s Pages of Honour were Her Majesty’s grandsons, Master Gus and Master Louis Lopes and Master Freddy Parker Bowles, and Her Majesty’s great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot.

Gus Lopes, the son of Camilla’s daughter Laura Lopes, suffered a broken arm during the weekend but he was still able to proceed with his role of a Page of Honor.

“‘Gus broke his arm in a bike accident while on holiday,’ a family friend tells me. ‘The cast has been removed, but he must have it in a sling on the big day,’” Richard Eden wrote for the Daily Mail.

“Though this is far from ideal, Gus has the appreciable consolation of being completely at ease with his step-grandfather. The bond between them developed when Gus and Louis were very young.”

Eden continued: “Should Gus seek inspiration for remaining steady on parade on Saturday, he need only think of the bravery and stoicism of his great-grandfather, Camilla’s father, Bruce Shand, who was awarded two Military Crosses, as well as being wounded, during his wartime service. Gus’s grandfather, Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles, who commanded the Blues and Royals, will be in the Abbey to provide him with encouragement.”

During the walk, Gus was positioned to the right of Camilla’s robes, so he only had to use his left arm to carry the robe.

Camilla’s grandchildren are close to King Charles. During an occasion, she said, “When we are with my husband in Scotland, he reads them Harry Potter. And he does all the voices, because he is a brilliant mimic. They sit spellbound. They love it.”

When Kate and William married, Camilla’s granddaughter Eliza served as the youngest bridesmaid. All of her grandchildren spent this past Christmas at Sandringham with the rest of the royals.

Man finds 50-year-old wallet inside abandoned locker – the photos inside leave him speechless

Treasure hunting is a hobby for some, but a full time profession for others. Treasure hunters scavenge people’s homes, garages, and basements for treasure and they bid for storage units with unclaimed goods, so they never really know what they will stumble upon. Sometimes, they end up with nothing, but other times, they discover valuable finds.

Anton Lulgjuraj started his journey of buying up old storage units in New York state years ago. He has never found anything life-changing, but he did find a wallet once which made for a newspaper worth story.

When Anton bought a storage, he ended up with a bunch of stuff belonging to an Air Force pilot. What caught Anton’s attention, however, was a small locker. When he cracked it open, he discovered a warn out wallet inside.

The wallet belonged to a woman named Diane Hall. There was a California driver’s license from the late 1960s, an actor’s equity card, and a handful of old photographs inside, which tickled Anton’s curiosity. He wanted to learn more and even try and find the person this wallet belonged to.

As he dig through the Internet, he realized that Diane Hall was in fact actress Diane Keaton.

He thought she would like to have her old wallet so he sent her a message, but didn’t get a response, well, not until his story got picked up by the media.

“I think anybody always hopes that like if they lose a wallet, there’s a hope that, you know, one day you’ll get your wallet back,” Anton said. “And you know, so like, this is great.”

When Diane read the story in New York Daily News, she posted on Instagram that she was delighted with Anton’s find.

“SOMEONE FOUND A WALLET I LOST 50 YEARS AGO! THANK YOU, MR. LULGJURAJ!,” her post read.

“PLEASE DM ME! THIS PHOTO WAS IN IT, I’M ON THE FAR RIGHT, CAN YOU BELIEVE THOSE BANGS?!”

We are glad the Something’s Gotta Give star acknowledged Anton’s discovery.
