An 82-year-old woman was caught shoplifting in a supermarket store

The number of people who struggle to make ends meet is way higher that we can even imagine. Not being able to provide for the family is an issue many struggle with, especially these days when the entire world is facing crisis in terms of lack of electricity and inflation. The prices of the basic products get higher and the number of businesses that are forced to shut down grows bigger. Finding a job isn’t as easy it once was. Life is hard for many, especially those who are unable to work because of various reasons.

One 82-year-old grandma was left to take care of her grandchildren. Sadly, because of her age, there was nothing she could do in order to get food. The little money she had wasn’t enough, so she was forced to do something she wasn’t proud of, steal food from a local shop at Via Casilina in Ferentino, Frosinone, Italy.

When an employee spotted her putting canned food in her bag, they confronted her. The grandma was scared and begged them not to call the police. “Please don’t call the cops; I don’t want my grandkids to know,” she kept repeating.

She then explained that she struggled to provide food for her grandchildren as tears rolled down her face.

The store manager was deeply touched by her story. Not only he didn’t call the police, but he let her take anything that she needed. He even told her to stop by whenever she needed food.

“Come grab what you need anytime you want; a few euros don’t matter anything to me,” he said.

We are glad there are still people there as considerate and as caring as this market owner.

Nobody was able to recognize Sandra Bullock’s son

0

Of all the roles she has ever played, including those which brought her plenty of awards and nominations, actress Sandra Bullock is proudest of her role of a mother.

The Blind Side star became a mother later in life when she adopted son Louis in 2010 and daughter Laila in 2015.

Reaching her forties, Bullock didn’t think she would ever have kids, but an event made her think about her life and whether or not she wanted to become a mother. According to the actress, she experienced epiphany when hurricane Katrina struck and an inner voice told her that her children were in New Orleans. Without hesitating, she headed there and filled adoption papers. Some four years later, she could finally adopt her son Louis.

“I looked at him and said, ‘Oh, there you are.’ It’s like he’d always been there. He fit in the crook of my arm, he looked me in the eyes, and he was just wise,” she said of the time she laid eyes on her son.

Louis is now all grown up. Speaking of him, the Oscar-winning actress says “Lou is super sensitive. He’s like Shecky Greene, a Jewish Catskills comic. He’s wise and kind. I saw that when they handed him to me. There was a spiritual bigness to him. I was like, ‘I hope I don’t eff that up.’”

In a November 2021 interview on Red Table Talk, Bullock candidly told Willow Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris that she sometimes wishes she and her children had shared the same skin.

“To say that I wish our skins matched, sometimes I do. Because then, it would be easier on how people approach us,” Bullock said. “And I have the same feelings as a woman with brown skin and her babies or a white woman with white babies.”

Bullock is co-parenting her children with boyfriend Bryan Randall. A source told Closer, “He is completely dedicated to Sandra and the children, and she is aware of this

“The kids have called Bryan ‘Daddy’ for as long as I can remember, and it still makes him smile.”

Bullock is an incredible mother and her children are fortunate to have her in their lives.

‘This is my face:’ Jennifer Lopez’s no makeup photos show her stunning natural look

0

For some, it is written in the stars to be part of the Hollywood glam. This is not solely because of luck or fate, but because of hard work and determination to succeed as well.

When Jennifer Lopez was still just a child, she knew her place belonged under the spotlight and she never gave up on her dream to become a renown celebrity, even if that meant getting into heated arguments with her mother and father who believed she should get rid of her dream of becoming a dancer and get a formal education instead.

Lopez, however, believed in herself and slept at the sofa at the dance studio whenever she and her mom got into a fight.

“My mom and I butted heads,’” Lopez told W Magazine in 2013. “I didn’t want to go to college — I wanted to try dance full-time. So she and I had a break.”

“I started sleeping on the sofa in the dance studio. I was homeless, but I told her, ‘This is what I have to do.’ A few months later, I landed a job dancing in Europe. When I got back, I booked In Living Color. I became a Fly Girl and moved to L.A. It all happened in a year.”

Lopez had her big breakthrough with the iconic film Selena where she played pop singer Selena Quintillana-Perez for which she was awarded a Golden Globe nomination.

“When I first came on the scene, I wasn’t trying to be the size zero model or say I wasn’t Latin and change my name, I was Jennifer Lopez,” she explained.

“I had a big butt, I embraced that, but I didn’t just wanna be the Latin actress or the one who played those roles. I wanted to do different roles.”

As more roles came along the way, Lopez decided to pursue yet another career, one in singing.

“I remember feeling comfortable up there and in my own skin, and that performing came naturally to me,” she said of the experience in an interview with InStyle.

“It was a great thing for [Selena Quintillana-Perez] to be my mentor, in a way, and to teach me so much about, yes, how to navigate this business, but also how to navigate through life,” she said in another interview.

“You never know what’s going to happen. You have to live in the moment, you have to seize the day. And so I decided after that movie to make my first record. And I did.”

In just two weeks, her single If You Had My Love sold platinum and other hits and albums followed. All of a sudden, ‘Jenny from the block,’ became the queen of the music scene and she was there to stay.

Today, Lopez is one of the most famous female performers there are.

This gorgeous woman has been married four times. Her two marriages didn’t last long. With her third husband, Marc Anthony, Lopez has twins Emme and Max who are now teenagers.

“They just made my life so much better,” Lopez told Today in 2017 of her children. “I’m forever grateful that…you know, I didn’t have kids until later and so I almost thought that it wasn’t going to happen for me, so I’m very aware that I was blessed with that. It could have been something different.

“I don’t take it for granted one day.”

Lopez is now married to actor Ben Affleck, and their love dates back to 2001 when they were a thing and were known as ‘Bennifer.’ However, just days before tying the knot, they split and it took them 20 years to get back together again.

When rumors of their renewed romance emerged, everyone was stunned and surprised, but they didn’t care about what people had to say.

‘”I’ve never been better,” Lopez said on The Zane Lowe Show. “I’ve really gotten to a place in my life where I’m great on my own.”

“Once you get to that place, then amazing things happen to you that you never imagine in your life happening again,” she continued. “I love all the love that’s coming my way right now and all of the good wishes… It’s the best time of my life.”

The couple tied the knot in mid-June.

“Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world,” Lopez wrote in her newsletter.

“Behind us, two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three-hour drive from Victorville on their daughter’s second birthday—all of us wanting the same thing— for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage.”

Lopez is never afraid to show off her natural beauty. She often posts photos of herself without makeup on and we believe she looks stunning.

When ‘accused’ by fans that she had undergone plastic surgeries, Lopez says, “That’s just my face!! For the 500 millionth time, I have never done Botox or any injectables or surgery!!”

Some time ago, she posted a video of herself in a white wardrobe with no makeup.

“I don’t have any special lighting or anything, this is just morning light. I don’t have any special filters on here, this is my face,” she said in the video. “As you can see, no makeup yet. I should put myself together.”

Tom Hanks’s quiet condition and how he is coping with it

0

Tom Hanks, or ‘Mr. Nice Guy,’ is one of the most beloved actors in Hollywood. Over the course of his career, he played many roles which are until this day considered iconic and has plenty of awards under his belt. Among the rest, he is the recipient of two consecutive Academy Awards for Best Actor for his roles in Forrest Gump and as a gay lawyer with AIDS in Philadelphia.

Born July 9, 1956 in Concord, California, to parents who divorced when he was still very young, Hanks experienced difficult upbringing. His mom and dad both got involved in relationships with other people, so young Hanks saw stepbrothers and stepsisters come and go out of his life.

By the age of ten, he had already lived in ten different houses, but he still managed to turn into a decent young man.

As he was growing up, he learned that it was humor that could help him get accepted by the people whom he met, especially the students at the many different schools he was forced to enroll to.

“I was excruciatingly dreadfully shy. I was also the one who simultaneously yelled out funny subtitles during comic strip movies, I managed to stay out of trouble,” the Sleepless in Seattle star recalled.

At the time he was starting his acting career, Hanks was married to American actress Samantha Lewes. The two had a lot in common. For one, they were both children of divorced parents who experienced difficulties early in life.

They had one son, actor Colin, and one daughter, Elizabeth. Hanks and Lewes divorced in 1987. It was a difficult time for Hanks who struggled coping with the bad thoughts that haunted him. As a result, he sought therapy three times a week.

Lewes died in 2002 at the age of 49 from bone cancer.

In 1981, Hanks met actress Rita Wilson on the set of TV comedy Bosom Buddies. They were reunited some three years later, in 1985, on the set of Volunteers. He and Wilson married in 1988 and have been together ever since.

In 2013, Hanks reveled that he had been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.

Today, he’s doing his best to raise awareness about the ‘silent’ disease.

However, fans got worried over their favorite actor’s health condition after a video of him appeared online showing his hand shaking as he appeared to struggle to keep a steady hold on a microphone. He then placed his left hand on top of his right hand and then eventually swapped hands completely.

Many fans defended Hanks, with one of them saying that it happened because he’s diabetic. Apparently, hand shaking might take place in case of low blood sugar levels.

No matter what it is, we hope it isn’t serious.

Melania Trump is not eager to join her husband on his presidential campaign, expert claims

0

Donald Trump, who served as the 45th president of the United States of America, announced he would be running for the position yet again. He held a press-conference at his Mar-a-Lago waterfront estate in Florida, and shared the news of his 2024 candidacy with the words, “In order to make America great and glorious again, I am tonight announcing my candidacy for president of the United States.”

He then proceeded, “Two years ago, we were a great nation, and soon, we will be a great nation again. This will not be my campaign, this will be our campaign, all, together.

“I have no doubt that by 2024, it will sadly be much worse, and they will see clearly what has happened and is happening to our country – and the voting will be much different.”

However, as the business mogul is eager to start the campaign for his possible tenure, members of his family are not as excited.

Shutterstock/Drop of Light

It has been reported that his daughter Ivanka Trump, who played a vital role in his campaign in the past and served as his advisor during his presidency, won’t be getting involved into politics ever again even if it is her dear father who is running for president.

Ivanka posted on her social media, “I love my father very much. This time around I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics.”

She then added, “While I will always love and support my father, going forward I will do so outside the political arena. I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and I will always be proud of many of our Administration’s accomplishments.”

Ivanka, however, wasn’t in attendance of her father’s press conference.

Rumors are that Trump begged Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner to join him in his campaign but their answer was a resounding no.

“Trump thought he could convince Ivanka this weekend to come back and campaign for him as she was the most requested speaker after the president himself last time around,” the source said.

“But so far she’s resisting his entreaties and holding firm, as is Jared. They both feel they got burned in Washington and don’t want to go back and expose themselves and their children to another bitter campaign.”

As it turns out, Ivanka isn’t the only member of Donald Trump’s close family who won’t be joining him in his campaign as his wife Melania isn’t happy with his decision either.

While serving as a FLOTUS, Melania was rarely seen at her White House office.

“Mrs. Trump was working from home long before the country was,” former White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham wrote in I’ll Take Your Questions, referring to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“When warranted, we would have in-person meetings, but those generally took place in the Map Room across from the elevators to the residence. There we would plan out schedules, respond to pressing queries, and discuss goals. Other than that, the first lady kept to her rooms in the residence.”

According to her friends, Melania isn’t ready to be living in the White House again as she tends to lead a more private life out of the eyes of the wide public.

“Being the first lady again is not what she wants,” one person close to the Trump family told CNN back in September.

“For her, it was a chapter — and it’s over, and that’s that.”

Melania, just like Ivanka Trump, believes her place doesn’t belong into politics.

“You’re not going to see her at rallies or campaign events, even if he ‘officially’ says he’s running again,” another person said.

“Instead it’s going to be Lara (Eric Trump’s wife) or Kimberly Guilfoyle (Donald Trump Jr’s girlfriend). They have that same urge Trump has to run again; Melania absolutely does not.”

Shutterstock/Debby Wong

During the 2020 debate between Trump and Biden, the former lashed at his opponent several times. Biden believed Trump acted unpresidential, and apparently, Melania thought the same.

According to Mike Pence’s book So God Help Me, Melania handed notes to her husband reminding him to be more patient, advice he took.

CNN correspondent Kate Bennett told Anderson Cooper that the former first lady doesn’t feel like being part of yet another capmaign.

“Showing up in a news story is not something the ultra-private Melania Trump enjoys, and Trump was soon apologizing on Truth Social to her for what he called ‘made up’ stories about her involvement,” Bennett said on CNN.

“She doesn’t like being in the news. She certainly doesn’t like her name being attached to the rants and ravings of her husband,” she added.

Al Pacino worries his fans in last photos

0

Al Pacino is without a doubt one of the most prominent and most influential actors of the 20th century. With iconic roles in films considered classics, such as Godfather, Scarface, The Devil’s Advocate and more, he cemented his place in Hollywood.

Pacino was born April 25, 1940, to parents who were Italian immigrants. When he was two, his mom and dad divorced and he went to live with his mother and her parents. It was Pacino’s grandparents who first took him to the cinema where he fell in love with acting. And it was a love at first sight.

Over the course of his career, Pacino earned nine Academy Award nominations and received an Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in Scent of a Woman.

The actor never married but has three children. His love life has been a turbulent one.

Shutterstock/Tinseltown

The actor welcomed his first child, daughter Julie Marie, with acting coach Jan Tarrant, whom he dated for a year. In 1997, he got romantically involved with Beverley D’Angelo, the mother of his twins. They both said that they wanted to have children together just mere months after meeting each other. D’Angelo gave birth to Anton James and Olivia Rose at the age of 49, in 2001.

“I got pregnant at 48, delivered six weeks after I was 49, and by 51, I was looking at a landscape as a single parent,” D’Angelo said of her life after separating from the actor.

When the couple split, it wasn’t a pleasant experience neither for them nor for their children. Pacino and D’Angelo fought over the custody of their twins, and it was a bitter battle.

The actor accused his former lover of treating their children as hostages.

Recently, new photos of the great actor emerged and fans were left worried for his condition. Well, having in mind that The House of Gucci star turned 82 this year, it is more or less expected for him to resemble an old man.

Some say that the actor was affected by the split with girlfriend Meital Dohan. Speaking of the breakup, Dohan, who was 39 years his junior said that their age gap was simply too big.

“I tried to deny it, but now he is already an elderly man, to be honest. So even with all my love, it didn’t last,” Meital told Israel’s La’Isha magazine.

“The age gap is difficult, yes.”

“I had a fight with him and left him recently, but of course I really love and appreciate him, and I was glad to be there for him when he needed me, and to be a part of his legacy,” she added, according to the outlet. “It’s an honor for me. I’m glad this relationship happened between us, and hope we remain good friends.”

Dohan also said that they actor didn’t buy her many gifts.

“He only bought me flowers,” she said. “How can I say politely that he didn’t like to spend money?”

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Pacino has $120 million and owns plenty of properties. He, however, spends lots of money on different causes close to his heart such as the organizations PETA, Feeding America, and Save the Children among the rest.

We hope Al Pacino’s health serves him great in the years to come.

Frightened rescue dog hides in the corner facing the wall until her soulmate comes along

0

Chloe is yet another abandoned dog. Unfortunately, the number of dogs, as well as other animals, who end up at shelters because their owners left them behind is huge.

When she found herself at the place that wasn’t her home, Chloe hid her head and faced the wall. She refused to allow anyone to approach her because she was intimidated. She had no idea why her owner wasn’t by her side or who were the people at this unfamiliar place.

Not knowing how to help her, the shelter, Saving Baldwin Park Shelter Dogs, posted a photo of Chloe on their Instagram account looking for a new owner. They knew she wouldn’t make it if she didn’t feel she was loved and cared for.

That is when a woman named Shira, of Animal Rescue Mission, stepped in. She knew just the person for Chloe, a man named Darvish who offered to foster the poor animal.

One day, Shira and Darvish headed to the shelter to pick Chloe up, but it was harder than they thought. She was untrustworthy and afraid to let anyone get near her.

YouTube/ The DoDo

Shira and Darvish, however, were determined to give her a new lease of life. So, with the help of some tasty food, they made Chloe get out of the shelter. But then, making her get inside the car was yet another obstacle. They didn’t force her into anything, but were gentle and let her get inside whenever she needed. After some time, Chloe approached the vehicle and sat on the back seat. At one moment, she felt terrified again and was helplessly looking for a corner to place her head to.

Shira managed to calm the dog down and even received a mini kiss from her. But once they reached Darvish’s home, Chloe needed time yet again to make herself get out of the car and enter her new home.

YouTube/ The DoDo

The first couple of days were tough. Chloe wouldn’t leave Darvish’ bedroom and would spend most of the time facing the wall.

“We just let her roam around the house,” Darvish shared. “She found this corner in my bedroom and she just refused to come out of that corner. So I let her stay for the first day and that’s how we got started.”

YouTube/ The DoDo

But Darvish was patient and let her took her time. A couple of days later, Chloe finally realized she was at a happy place. She got confident around her foster dad and even followed him everywhere.

Witnessing the progress, Darvish knew he couldn’t let Chloe be adopted by anyone else than him.

YouTube/ The DoDo

Once the adoption was finalized, Darvish gave Chloe a different name, Mira.

To see Mira’s full story and how she turned from intimidated dog abandoned by her owners to someone who is confident and happy go to the video below.

Mom is told her son has ear infection – Then doctors see his fingers and panic

0

When baby Archie was born, his mom and dad were over the moon. The Australian couple, Josh Roberts and Katelyn Galea, could never assume that their bundle of joy, who was born healthy could end up fighting for his life.

One day, they noticed Archie’s mouth turned grey after he suffered from what medics dubbed a not much serious ear infection. Unaware of what was going on, they rushed him to the hospital, and it was a 40 minute drive that felt like eternity.

Facebook/ Josh Roberts

Once there, doctors noticed that Archie’s fingers turned purple and what ever he had, it was spreading.

He was immediately put on a ventilator and doctors ran a bunch of tests which revealed that the little one had potentially fatal meningococcal infection, a disease which refers to any illness caused by the bacteria Neisseria meningitidis.

Unfortunately, these illnesses can be fatal and include infections of the lining of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis) and bloodstream.

Facebook/ Josh Roberts

Archie’s case was severe and he was treated with antibiotics. He also received blood transfusion. Doctors weren’t sure whether he would survive as the chances seemed dull.

“This is something you only read about in the paper or see in the news. You would never expect it to hit someone so healthy and so happy,” Archie’s dad wrote on Facebook. “This is one of the hardest times I have ever had to deal with. I have never ever loved something, someone with such passion and love. It doesn’t matter if you are the toughest person on this planet walking into that hospital room and seeing you like this rips me apart.”

Facebook/ Josh Roberts

After some period of time, Archie’s condition stabilized and he was taken off ventilator. But his recovery took months and the parents were in need of funds in order to cover the medical bills which piled up.

However, once this little fighter’s story had gone viral, many people donated on GoFundMe and the family was able to receive AUD $15,000, which was even more than they asked for.

Luckily, Archie’s body fought the infection and he was able to go home.

Facebook/ Josh Roberts

Today, Archie is doing well, but he’s still in the process of complete recovery.

His parents are grateful to everyone who stepped in when they needed it the most. But most of all, they are grateful for Archie’s fighting spirit.

The little one is making progress daily and will likely never remember the ordeal he was forced to go through.
