Final twist in 21-year-old’s claim that she’s Madeleine McCann – DNA test results confirmed

0

The results of the long-awaited DNA test which was to confirm whether the 21-year-old girl named Julia Wendell was in fact Madeleine McCann are finally here.

Julia Wendell from Poland has gone viral after sensationally claiming that she is Madeleine McCann, who went missing from an apartment in Praia da Luz, in Portugal, while her parents were out having dinner. At the time of her disappearance, Madeleine was just 4 years old, and the search for her never stopped.

Julia gathered over a million followers on her Instagram account named “Help me, I need to talk with Kate and Gerry McCann,” with the username “iammadeleinemccan.” Some of the evidence she shared in support of her claims were certain physical similarities with the missing Madeleine, like the famous rare eye defect and other facial features. As of her childhood, Julia said she remembered little to nothing.

In statements made to the Daily Star, Julia said:“I have lived a very hard life and suffered a lot of trauma, my abuser was a German paedophile who was a suspect in the Madeleine McCann investigation.

“I had not heard of this case until I started asking my parents questions about my childhood as I have little to no memory of it. The memories are all very blurry and when I have had conversations with my parents, things don’t seem to add up and they always try to change the subject.”

Further, Julia said, “I don’t remember being taken away. I mean, I don’t remember almost my entire childhood… I have asked for pictures of when my mum was pregnant with me, other medical records and any pictures from my childhood and she never shows them, she just always tells me I’m crazy.

The results of the DNA test show that Julia is not Madeleine. It has further been revealed that Julia is of Polish heritage, with some Lithuanian and Romanian heritage.

Speaking to RadarOnline, Dr. Fia Johansson said: “She is absolutely 100 percent from Poland. She is a small percentage of Lithuanian and Russian but the test results show she is Polish.”

Even before the results were being published, Dr. Johansson, who has been given power of attorney over Julia, said her “gut feeling” told her that her client isn’t the missing child.

“We learned a few things, one being that Julia’s mum is in fact now believed to be her mum, so she is not Madeleine McCann,” Dr. Johansson said.

“They’re not 100% but they believe that Julia’s mum is in fact her mum. They’re questioning her father’s side. They’re checking into that, that’s part of what they’re doing with the DNA.

“But Julia’s mum is in fact her mum is what they’re believing and she is not in fact Madeleine McCann.”

Recently, the search for Madeleine has been extended to 12 more months and £302,470 funding has been approved, which gave fresh hope to her parents.

We truly hope this case will eventually be solved.

Russell Crowe shares heartbreaking update about his loss – ‘he died in my arms…’

0

With roles in films which are considered iconic, such as Gladiator and Beautiful Mind, the New Zealand born actor Russell Crow cemented his place in Hollywood and made a massive mark in the industry of film.

Back in March, 2021, Crowe lost his father, John Crowe who was 85 years old at the time of his passing. He passed away in his home of 25 years in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales in Australia.

This was a huge blow for the actor who shared a tribute to his late father on the social media and wrote, “I’m posting this because I know there are people all over the world who’s heart he touched and who’s ribs he tickled with his sparkly eyes and his cheeky attitude to everyone, and everything. And this is probably as efficient a method as any to pass on the news.”

Further, Crowe added: “I arrived back in the bush last night. Today, although the sun is shining and the torrential rain has abated, this date will forever be tinged with sadness. My dear old man, my beautiful dad, the most gentle of men, has passed away.”

This year, on the second anniversary of his father’s passing, the actor who will appear in the 2023 movie The Pope’s Exorcist, shared another heartbreak, the death of his dog, Louis the Papillion.

Although Crowe tends to keep a low profile and is not very active on social media, he would share photos of Louis. Once, he posted a photo of himself and his dog wearing matching shirts.

Under the cute photo, he wrote, “I’m not at all a fan of dressing dogs up, but, a friend bought little Louis a ⁦@RalphLauren ⁩polo so he can match with dad. I think the other dogs on the farm are going to get jealous. Pretty funny.”

Sadly, Louis got hit by a truck and didn’t manage to survive despite the efforts by Crowe and the veterinarians. “This is Louis the Papillion. 16 months old. Tiny, cheeky, brave. He won my heart. Unfortunately today, on the second anniversary of my father’s passing, Louis was hit by a truck. We tried to get him to the vet, but he died in my arms while I was telling him how much we loved him.”

We are so very sorry for Crowe’s loss.

Man ignores trolls calling his girlfriend a ‘monster’ and ‘zombie’ – marries her & embraces her 3 kids as his own

The moment we learn how to love ourselves with all our flaws is the moment we really start to live our lives to the fullest.

Being born with a condition that distinguishes us from the rest of the world can be extremely challenging, and many people go through such struggles. The thing is that different doesn’t mean less worthy or less beautiful, and the moment we experience that enlightenment and realize we are perfect the way we are everything changes for the better.

Karine de Souza, a 33-year-old woman from Brazil, was diagnosed with Xeroderma Pigmentosum when she was three years old. This means she’s at high risk of developing skin cancer and her skin gets covered in lesions even after a few minutes after being exposed to sun. As a result, she has been forced to use SPF100 sunscreens at all times, even when she’s at home.

Over the years, she has undergone 130 surgeries to have her lesions removed, and sadly, she ended up with a part of her nose and her lower lip removed.

“When I expose myself to the sun it doesn’t happen in the moment, I don’t feel anything. However, in the future, the lesions appear and need to be removed because of cancer,” she says. Sadly, her condition, which is “one in a million” is incurable.

Today, however, despite her condition, Karine was able to find love in a man named Edmilson whom she met through social media and married recently. The two welcomed a baby daughter together and he accepted her three children from her previous relationship as his own.

Karine is happy she found her happy ending. “He came and he showed me that I could live a true love story,” she said.

Sadly, she still faces mean comments and people calling her names and accusing her of being her husband’s ‘sugar mommy.’

”We have already read many offensive comments calling me a monster, deformed, a zombie,” Karine said, as per the Daily Mail. ”Because of the fact he’s a young man and pretty, that caught people’s attention and they didn’t believe that he was with me because he really liked me,” she added.

The photographer who took the couple’s engagement photographs shared a series of images with the caption:

”In a world where appearance matters more than the feeling, they met not by chance, but by a gathering of souls, an encounter of acceptance and character and love emerged when their souls met and today you are the inspiration to so many people who do not believe in themselves, in life and especially in love.

“THANK YOU every day for being who you are. STOP complaining for being like you are. HUG LIFE, and accept yourself. Much gratitude for teaching me so much. You guys are AMAZING. You are the missing hope in so many people. Thank you for the big hug, and for the wonderful day we experienced together. I carry your smile with me forever.”

His heartfelt words and beautiful photos of Karine and Edmilson soon went viral and caught the attention of many who took their time to congratulate the happy couple.

”Be happy, smile, because life happens only once,” Karine said.

We are glad Karine found the love of her life and the happiness she deserves.

Brooke Shields was body-shamed but her husband had a fitting response

0

The new powerful documentary Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, is what the actress used as a way to take a look back at how far she’s come in her life and her career. Making a name for herself as a model who found herself on the covers of many prestigious magazines and continuing to stare in a number of movies, she has a lot to brag about.

Although she has been regarded one of the most beautiful women of her generation and beyond, Shields hasn’t always seen the beauty in herself mainly because she was criticized of her looks from early age by her mother Teri.

“My mother would get drunk and say: ‘Why don’t you move your fat ass?’ So, I’ve always believed I had a fat ass,” the actress recalled. She had troubles building her self-confidence but then she met someone who has changed that and helped her embrace her beauty; her husband of 22 years, screenwriter Chris Henchy.

“I would walk backwards out of rooms, and he’d say: ‘No, I want to grab onto you,’” Shields said. “He really celebrated my womanliness and my body. And I needed a man to celebrate me.”

Before marrying Henchy in 2001, Shields was married to tennis legend Andre Agassi. Their marriage lasted for 2 years only.

As a 15-year-old girl, Shields was discovered by fashion designer Calvin Klein and was featured in commercials, but even then, she felt self conscious about her looks.

“I modeled swimwear when I was 15, and even then I didn’t think I had a swimsuit body,” Shields recalled in a recent interview. “I was a cover girl, not a supermodel. I was ‘neck up’ — the face, the eyebrows — and I was always described as ‘athletic’; ‘not rail-thin’; ‘not a runway model.’ Those messages, they seep into your consciousness,” the actress finished.

A few years ago, she teamed up with Calvin Klein yet again and they did another campaign together. “I knew that if I didn’t look my best, I’d be embarrassed and mad at myself. I stopped drinking beer and wine, and I worked out three times a week. I was the best version of myself,” she said, adding, “I was also hungry.”

One would say that it is unexpected that someone as praised for their beauty and as famous as Shields has had insecurities, but before everything else, she’s just a human, like all of us.

In a recent interview with People, she opened up about a horrific experience which took place around 30 years ago when she was assaulted by a Hollywood executive soon after graduating from Princeton University. “I’m more angry now than I was able to be then. If you’re afraid, you’re rightfully so. They are scary situations. They don’t have to be violent to be scary.”

She believes that she fell victim because “People weren’t believing those stories back then. I thought I would never work again.” On top of that, she kept blaming herself. “I kept saying, ‘I shouldn’t have done that. Why did I go up with him? I shouldn’t have had that drink at dinner,’” she said.

At the time, she shared the horrific experience with her close friend and former security consultant Gavin de Becker only, but she now speaks openly about it in hopes of helping others not to feel alone. “Everybody processes their own trauma on a different timeline. I want to be an advocate for women to be able to speak their truth.”

Even today, Brooke Shields looks as stunning as ever and has an incredible career.

Pat Sajak discusses his emergency surgery and says he believed he was going to die from the pain

0

The Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak underwent an emergency surgery for a blocked intestine and felt like he was going to die. The pain he experienced was excruciating and he’s now sharing details of the ordeal he went through during a Good Morning America appearance.

Sajak was returning home from his daily walk with his daughter when he suddenly felt “horrific pain” in his stomach. He was rushed to the hospital where he was treated with different medications but nothing seemed to work.

“I was lying on the bed in the fetal position,” he explained. “They try to treat your pain with numerous medications. And none of it – none of it – worked.”

Luckily, one of the painkillers started working and took his pain away.

“All of a sudden, I wasn’t thinking about the discomfort,” he explained. “I just got these amazing pastels and faced flowing out of it.”

“I could hear my wife and daughter talking in the background. They sounded a mile away but were right next to me,” he added. “They were conversing with one another. And I recall thinking, not morbidly, this must be death. This must be how death feels.”

As he was concerned for his condition, he was at the same time concerned for his wife and children and got saddened by the thought of them “having to cope with the fallout.”

Luckily, the surgery was a successful one and he soon realized that his worries were unfounded and that he was in fact just high from the meds. “It turns out that I was merely high,” he laughed.

The doctors were unable to detect what caused his blocked intestine in the first place. “I’ve been feeling extremely terrific for several weeks,” Sajak explained. “I’ve been back in the studio, doing shows. Even after spinning the wheel, nothing popped. So I believe that is OK.”

During his time off work, co-host Vanna White filled in for him. She said that hosting the show without Sajak felt weird because they have been together on it for over 37 years. “Those three weeks without him were very hard. I really missed him. I just can’t imagine doing this show without him, you know? And I hope he feels the same with me,” she said.

We are glad Pat Sajak is now doing well.

Steve Irwin’s wife reveals what her husband thought about his life

0

It has been 16 years since the passing of one of the greatest animal and nature lovers the world has ever seen, great Steve Irwin.

Irwin died back in 2006, leaving the world mourning his loss. During filming at the Great Barrier Reef, Australia, Steve was pierced through the chest by a stingray.

“He was having trouble breathing. Even if we’d been able to get him into an emergency ward at that moment we probably wouldn’t have been able to save him, because the damage to his heart was massive,” Justin Lyon, an underwater cameraman and Steve’s close friend told Australia’s Network Ten television.

“As we’re motoring back I’m screaming at one of the other crew in the boat to put their hand over the wound and we’re saying to him things like, ‘Think of your kids, Steve, hang on, hang on, hang on.’ He just sort of calmly looked up at me and said, ‘I’m dying.’ And that was the last thing he said.”

“The Crocodile Hunter,” installed the love for the nature and the animals into his children, Bindi and Robert, and now they are both following into his footsteps and are doing their best to keep his legacy alive.

Through his passion and the out-of-this-world videos and documentaries of incredible species, he made millions look at the nature and the creatures living in the wild and the oceans with fresh eyes. Not only was he an animal lover, but a very famous advocate and conservationist too.

Despite the time that has passed since his passing, wife Terri still misses him badly. Although he’s no longer around, she is forever grateful she had her ‘happily ever after’ with him.

“Every day is hard, and after 16 years, the sadness stops being a rock in your heart and starts walking beside you,” she opened up during an emotional interview on the program Anh’s Brush with Fame.

Further, Terri said the word ‘famous’ never existed in Steve’s life. He never let fame affect him in any way, but he remained humble until the very last day of his life. “Famous wasn’t a word that occurred to Steve. I loved that about him, he was never pretentious, never big-noted himself, and we did put everything we made for wildlife and still do back into conservation, I’m really proud of that.”

Sharing the devastating news with the kids, which were still very young at the time they lost their father, was the hardest thing of all. How do you tell a child they will never see their dad again?

“I just remember this incredible sense of responsibility, this feeling of overwhelming grief but ‘what do I do next? I kind of collected my thoughts and then had to go out to the car and tell Bindi and Robert … which was really hard,” Terri confessed.

Terri then tearfully recalls the last time she saw Steve. She, Bindi and Robert were flying to Tasmania while Steve stayed behind to film the documentary.

“I remember him at the airstrip waving goodbye. That was the last time we saw him.”

She says he would have been surprised by the outpouring of love and grief by the millions of people who loved what he did.

Rest in peace, Steve Irwin. Your family keeps your legacy alive.

Her daughter called her fat after they went swimming – now her response has the internet cheering

0

The number of obese people is getting bigger and bigger, especially in the United States, and the number of those who struggle to lose weight or maintain it is probably even greater.

Allison Kimmey is a 30-year-old mother of two who has decided to accept her body the way it is after years of dieting and being size two to four. Today, she’s size eight, and that doesn’t make her less happy, on the contrary, she feels relieved that she doesn’t put any pressure to get slimmer on herself any longer.

Allison even has an Instagram account, @allisonkimmey, where she posts plenty of photos and videos which serve as inspiration for many.

Instagram/@allisonkimmey

What she tries to achieve is send a message of self-love and positivitity and remind people to love themselves the way they are. This message, however, doesn’t always get to everyone, and in Allison’s case, it sadly didn’t get to her young daughter.

Recently, this mom took her son and daughter at the pool hoping to have a blast and some fun time. When the time came for them to head home, the girl took a look at Allison and called her fat.

Instagram/@allisonkimmey

Allison described the experience on her social media and it went like this:

Me: “What did you say about me?”

Her: “I said you were fat, mama. I’m sorry.”

Me: “Let’s talk about it. The truth is, I am not fat. No one IS fat. It’s not something you can BE. But I do HAVE fat. We ALL have fat. It protects our muscles and our bones and keeps our bodies going by providing us energy. Do you have fat?”

Her: “Yes! I have some here on my tummy.”

Me: “That’s right! So do I and so does your brother!”

Her brother: “I don’t have any fat. I’m the skinniest. I just have muscles.”

Me: “Actually, everyone, every single person in the world has fat. But each of us has different amounts.”

Her brother: “Oh right! I have some to protect my big muscles! But you have more than me.”

Me: “Yes, that’s true. Some people have a lot, and others don’t have very much. But that doesn’t mean that one person is better than the other. Do you both understand?”

Both: “Yes, mama.”

Me: “So can you repeat what I said?”

Them: “Yes! I shouldn’t say someone is fat because you can’t be just fat, but everyone HAS fat and it’s okay to have different fat.”

Me: “Exactly right!”

This mom wanted to teach her children that no matter if one has more lbs than others, everyone is equal and no person is better than the other because they are thinner. However, this was also a lesson to her followers and other people out there.

“If I shame my children for saying it then I am proving that it is an insulting word and I continue the stigma that being fat is unworthy, gross, comical and undesirable,” Allison wrote.

We truly believe that people like Allison are an inspiration.
