After handing her 4-year-old daughter a bag of Burger King food, a mother hears, ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup’

When hungry and in a hurry, the closest fast-food restaurant seems like the perfect option to have your meal for the day. That’s exactly what a mom did when she and her 4-year-old daughter were in for some cheesburgers.

However, when Tiffany Floyd stopped at a Burger King drive-thru near her home in Western New York, she didn’t expect it to turn into an unpleasant experience.

Sharing a TikTok video, she said, “Today I went to Burger King by my house,” and explained that she ordered a cheeseburger for herself and her daughter, requesting it to be without ketchup, which her daughter isn’t a fan of.

However, once having a couple of french fries and taking a bite of the cheeseburger, the girl said, “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.”

Believing that they messed up the order, Tiffany took a look at her daughter’s meal and noticed blood all over it. She was quick to contact the chain and explained there was blood on her daughter’s sandwich and to her surprise, the manager nonchalantly told her than an employee had cut their hand previously and that was how the blood got there. He then told her they would give her a refund if she returned to the restaurant.

Tiffany was shocked by the response and realized the manager thought the blood on the cheeseburger wasn’t much of a deal.

“Now I did reach out to our local health department. They did a report, there’s not much that they can do,” she said, and added that she wants her video to serve as a warning because there were plenty of people purchasing food from the place that day.

Burger King confirmed to People that it temporarily closed its Gettzville location, where the incident took place, for a few days to conduct a thorough cleaning and provide retraining for the staff.

“Every time you get food through a drive-thru, you open the bag up and start eating without even looking. I just want other people there to check to see if they ate it, too.”

Tiffany also added that she now needs to wait a month to have her daughter tested for any blood issues.

The video, which has been seen more than six million times, was commented on by a number of people who were concerned over Tiffany’s daughter’s health.

“omg imagine if the baby did in fact like ketchup?!?!??!!” one person wrote. “thank you so much for spreading your story. I am so very sorry this happened to you and your daughter,” another added.

There were also those who believed they would address the matter differently. “You can totally do more than that! Contact an attorney! I also live in NY and know first hand of an incident on the thruway w/something on a burger that was not a burger…state police were notified etc,” someone commented.

JD Vance is under fire as a ‘hypocrite’ after drag photos from his college days come to light

While Ohio Senator JD Vance (R) remains silent on the newly emerged drag photos, former Rep. George Santos has been vocal on the matter.

On Sunday, a photo of the Republican vice presidential nominee in a blonde wig and a long dress went viral, drawing attention due to its clash with the GOP’s frequent stance against drag and LGBTQ+ rights.

The photos that caused a stir on the social media were posted on X by Matt Bernstein with the caption, “new: i have obtained a photo of jd vance in drag while at yale law school.” 

The authenticity of the photos was confirmed by Travis Whitfill, who provided them, stating, “This was taken in 2012… Photo was taken by a classmate and sent to me.”

As expected, people reacted to the photo, with one person writing, “Ladies and gentleman, a picture of JD Vance in drag while attending Yale Law School. I don’t share this to shame those who do drag, but rather to shame those who attack drag while having a history of enjoying the art form themselves.” Someone else commented: “Feelin’ cute. Might run for Vice President later.” A third added: “Don’t call JD Vance weird because he wore drag. Call him a hypocrite and a bigot for demonizing others who wear drag.”

There were also those who stood for Vance, including Republican U.S. representative from New York George Santos who said Vance’s photos were more of a goofy costume from a college house party than drag, as reported by TMZ.

“To call that drag is disingenuous and I think most dudes at some point in their lives have played around with costumes that are gender bender. Couples do that all the time. The wife will dress up as a guy, the husband will dress up as a woman. It’s definitely not drag,” Santos said.

Being in pain is debilitating because it often limits one’s ability and willingness to engage in various everyday activities and affects their quality of life in general.

When a person experiences pain, they do everything in their power to relieve it. When conventional medicine is not very helpful, they often turn to traditional remedies, trying the methods their grandparents once used to alleviate any discomfort.

One such method is wrapping your feet in aluminium foil. And no, this doesn’t only help with discomfort in your feet, but also to treat various health conditions.

Reduces Fatigue and Muscle Pain: If you experience fatigue or muscle pain, try wrapping your feet in aluminum foil. It is believed that the foil reflects the body’s energy back into the muscles, offering relief from soreness. This belief, however, isn’t supported scientifically but plenty of people swear by it.

Eases Joint Pain: Aluminum foil can help reduce joint pain, particularly in the feet, by lowering inflammation and enhancing circulation. Those suffering from autoimmune conditions affecting the joints, such as arthritis, say this method helps relieve their pain temporarily.

Helps with Cold and Flu Symptoms: In the past, people used aluminium foil when they had a cold because they believed the thin sheet made of aluminum metal wrapped around the feet drew out the toxins from the body and helped fight the flu. People still practice this method for the same reason.

Promotes Better Sleep: Another claim is that wrapping your feet in aluminum foil can promote better sleep by keeping your feet warm. The foil’s reflective properties are said to retain heat, creating a comforting sensation that may promote better sleep.

This is how to use it!

The materials needed for this remedy are: Aluminum foil (large enough to wrap around your feet); Bandages or cloth to secure the foil (optional); Socks (for added warmth and comfort).

Prepare the Foil: Cut a piece of aluminum foil big enough to wrap around each foot. For focused relief, use smaller sections for specific areas like the toes or heels.

Wrap the Feet: Position the foil around your feet with the shiny side facing inward.

Secure the Foil: Use bandages or a soft cloth to keep the foil secured, or simply wear socks over the foil to keep it in place.

Duration: Keep the foil on your feet for 1-2 hours for the most benefit. You may choose to do this before sleeping or at a convenient time during the day.

Christopher Reeve’s son, adopted by neighbors, wows with his striking resemblance to his late father

The humble reporter who turned into a superhero marked everyone’s childhood and the name of Christopher Reeve will always come to mind whenever we hear the name Superman.

Reeve achieved the unachievable. He made whole generations fall in love with the character he played. Unfortunately, this great man who could brag with his looks suffered serious injuries during a horse riding accident and spent the rest of his days wheelchair bound. His paralysis, however, didn’t stop him from continuing doing what he did best; being an actor, writer, and a philanthropist.

His fans and family always stood by his side and they were the reason why he never lost hope that his condition may improve one day. Sadly, he passed away in 2004, but his three children are there to continue his legacy. Reeve had son Matthew and daughter Alexandra with his wife Gae Exton, and youngest son Will with his second wife, Dana Reeve. Today, all three run their parents’ foundation, Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation.

This organization’s goal is to help those living with paralysis, and they are very successful at what they do. Will Reeve, who’s 30 now, gathers the attention of the public not only because he continues his parents’ work, but also because of the staggering resemblance to his late father.

When Christopher lost the ability to walk and breath on his own, little Will was only a toddler. In an interview with the People he recalls how he and his dad were very close and did lots of fun things together. Christopher even taught him how to ride a bike by giving him instructions and being extremely supportive. When he lost his real life hero, Will was 11.

Just 10 months after his death, Christopher’s wife and caregiver Dana was diagnosed with lung cancer. She passed away two years later, making Will lose both his parents. At the time, he was 13 years old and moved in with the family’s neighbors, Ralph and Ann Pucci, whom Dana trusted to raise him right.

Will once praised the family who adopted him, saying, “The Puccis are…lifesavers. They are the very best people. […] They are the reason that I was able to emerge from the darkest period of my life – relatively unscathed.

“They took me in, and they loved me, not even like a son, they loved me, and do love me, as a son. The Puccis are my family and they always will be. […] When I say ‘I’m going home’ – it’s their house,” he said.

This young man grew up to his parents’ expectations. He is currently a correspondent for Good Morning America, and has also contributed to ESPN’s SportsCenter and MSG Network, and continues being inspiration for many other young men.

He, however, never puts the foundation on the side and believes that by raising money for helping others, he’s honoring his mom and dad. He told Today: “Their passion for everything is what made them so special. They deeply cared about making a difference in the world in any context. It was a really special experience to grow up in a house with them setting that example. I try to carry on their legacy every day by just doing what I was taught.”

During an interview with People in 2016, Will opened up about his amazing childhood, which he considered a “totally normal” one. 

“They were the people who told me to turn off the TV, to eat my broccoli, to go to bed,” he recalled lovingly. “I understand that not every child experiences going to the grocery store and seeing their dad on the magazine at the checkout aisle, but … it was a totally normal childhood.”

When told that he looks like his father a lot, this young man says, “My parents were beautiful people on the inside, so if I can resemble them that way, I certainly appreciate the comparison.”

Despite the loss he suffered, Will didn’t let darkness fill in his life. Instead, the memory of his parents served as a guidance for him to turn into a respected individual.

In a Daily Mail article, Will wrote, “There’s something my father used to say and which I use frequently today to not only honor his legacy, but to imbue a new generation with his timeless spirit: ‘A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.’”

People once listed Christopher Reeve on their cover as one of the 25 most intriguing people, and Will is happy he could now share his story about Superman with the magazine. Take a look at the video below to learn more of Will’s life and the foundation he now runs.

In April 2023, he shared that he’s dating a woman named Amanda Dubin. As per her LinkedIn profile, Dubin is an event planner and specializes in event planning and production. She currently works at a company called Victoria Dubin Events based in New York City.

Jennifer Aniston ‘hugely concerned’ for Brad Pitt following shocking allegations made by his son

The separation of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston was met with disbelief by their many fans, but as much as they were heartbroken by the news, they were equally intrigued and excited to see how Brad’s on-screen chemistry with Angelina Jolie would translate into real life.

Brad and Angelina’s relationship eventually turned into a high-profile romance and a marriage.

However, in 2016, Jolie filed for divorce following allegations of an incident involving Pitt and their eldest son Maddox on a private jet. The FBI and the Los Angeles Department of Child and Family Services investigated, and Pitt was quickly cleared of any child abuse charges, as noted by US Weekly.

The divorce and lengthy custody battle that followed are remembered as one of the most bitter celebrity disputes in recent history.

What’s most, the former couple are still involved in a legal battle. Jolie’s allegations included claims that the actor tried to pressure her into signing an $8.5 million NDA to hide “years of abuse,” US Weekly reports.

The exes share six children together. Shiloh, born in 2006, twins Knox and Vivienne, and their adopted kids Maddox Jolie-Pitt (22), from Cambodia, daughter, Zahara Jolie-Pitt (18), from Ethiopia, and Pax Thien (19) from Vietnam.

During the custody battle, Madox testified against his father. At the time, US Weekly cited a source, “Maddox has already given testimony as [an] adult in the ongoing custody dispute and it wasn’t very flattering toward Brad.”

Further, the source was reported to have said: “He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie. Maddox wants to legally change his last name to Jolie, which Angelina has said she doesn’t support.”

The couple’s second oldest child, Pax, hasn’t been fond of his father either since the split.

In 2020, Pax posted a photo of Pitt and wrote on the social media, “You time and time again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.” The post which has since been deleted further read, “You have no consideration or empathy towards your four youngest children who tremble in fear when in your presence. You will never understand the damage you have done to my family because you are incapable of doing so.

“You have made the lives of those closest to me a constant hell. You may tell yourself and the world whatever you want but the truth will come to light someday.”

Those close to Pitt said the allegations made by Pax were a “depressing smear,” with one Hollywood star stating that Pitt “has great respect for all of his children and it’s depressing to see this dragged up.

“It’s frustrating to see Brad being painted as some kind of “bad person” when it’s far from the truth. He chooses to keep a dignified silence and that speaks volumes,” the A-lister told The Sun.

Another person who showed they care for Pitt was his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, who was said to be “hugely concerned” for the Fight Club star after Pax’s deleted post resurfaced on the social media.

Despite the challenges of their split, Aniston and Pitt have preserved a close friendship. Aniston has consistently supported Pitt through various hardships, demonstrating the strong connection they nurture. A person close to the exes said, “Jen cares deeply about Brad and vice versa.”

Jennifer Lopez’s ex Alex Rodriguez shares cryptic message after she files for divorce from Ben Affleck

As Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially parting ways, their on-again, off-again relationship has made headlines across the globe.

The singer/actress filed for divorce on their second wedding anniversary, August 20, and Bennifer stopped being a thing for the second time.

The couple first started dating while filming the 2003 romantic comedy Gigli. They were first engaged almost two decades ago, but decided to postpone their wedding the next year, citing the overwhelming media attention.

After they split in 2004, they rekindled their romance and tied the knot in a surprise wedding held in Las Vegas in 2022. A month later, they hosted a celebration for family and friends at a Georgia mansion that Affleck had originally bought when they first began dating some 20 years ago.

When they reunited and Affleck proposed for the second time, Lopez said, “I feel so lucky and happy and proud to be with him. It’s a beautiful love story that we got a second chance.”

In 2024, Lopez introduced The Greatest Love Story Never Told, a documentary that detailed the story of her self-produced album This Is Me… Now and her long-standing quest for self-love. Affleck was the driving force behind her decision to execute the project.

“I was like, ‘I don’t write, I don’t do this.’ He was like, ‘You do, you write, you direct, you produce, you choreograph, you do all the things,’ ” she recalled their conversation. “‘Start stepping into that, start owning a little bit of who you are.’”

In the documentary, Affleck confessed he wasn’t fond of Lopez’ desire to have their relationship under the spotlight, but learned to “compromise.”

The rumors surrounding their separation started circulating in May 2022 after the couple weren’t spotted together for nearly two months. At the time, neither Lopez nor Affleck commented on the speculations about their allegedly ‘broken’ relationship. What’s most, when a journalist asked the Jenny from the Block singer about the rumors at a press conference in Mexico for her Netflix film, Atlas, in May, she answered, “You know better than that.”

When he missed her birthday party and was said to have moved his belongings from the home they shared, it was obvious their relationship had taken a wrong turn.

Now that the news of Lopez and Affleck’s divorce came to light, Lopez’ ex, retired MLB player Alex Rodriguez, shared a cryptic quote to Instagram Stories on Tuesday which made many question whether it was aimed at Lopez.

“You either go one way or the other, you might as well be the one deciding the direction,” he posted.

According to People, a source claimed that Rodriquez’s post was purely coincidental and “has nothing to do” with Lopez.

Lopez and Rodriguez were together for four years.

“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects,” they said in a joint statement at the time. “We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have is to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”

The singer was seen being close with Affleck not long after her separation from Rodriguez.

Jennifer Lopez files for divorce from Ben Affleck — court documents disclose major twists

The rumors about the trouble in the paradise turned out to be true as singer/actress Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce from husband Ben Affleck on the date of their second wedding anniversary, August 20. As per TMZ, Lopez filed legal documents Tuesday in L.A. County Superior Court herself, without an attorney.

The date of their separation was listed April 26, 2024.

Further, TMZ revealed that there was no prenup, meaning everything the two A-listers made during their two years of marriage is community property. During those two years of Jen and Ben being a thing, he starred in Air and Hypnotic, and produced The Instigators, among the rest, while she landed roles in Shotgun Wedding, The Mother, This Is Me … Now, and Atlas.

According to the documents, Lopez has chosen not to seek any financial support from Ben Affleck as part of the divorce settlement, asking the judge to deny Affleck spousal support as well.

This, however, doesn’t mean the two have settled the money-related aspects that arose from their separation. As per TMZ, talks on the topic continue.

Speculation surrounding the ‘Bennifer’ relationship increased after the pair were caught on camera during a seemingly uncomfortable and tense exchange at the 2023 Grammy Awards. The photo of Affleck from the event in which he seemed to be bored had gone viral and people took it as yet another sign that their relationship was coming to an end.

Affleck has been said to have moved out of the couple’s Beverly Hills mansion earlier this year,although neither he nor Lopez commented on the matter. In fact, when asked about the rumors of their frail relationship by a journalist during a press conference in Mexico for her Netflix film, Atlas, in May, Lopez answered, “You know better than that.”

Meghan Markle’s direct order to Prince Harry during Colombia tour exposed by lip reader

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may no longer be working royals, but their latest tour to Colombia reveals that they are definitely treated as though they are still working for the crown.

On the first day of what is planned to be a four-day tour, the Sussexes visited a school to discuss the impacts of social media with students and later spoke at a summit on digital responsibility, which was partially organized by their Archewell Foundation.

The office of Colombia Vice President Francia Márquez, who extended the invitation to the Duke and Duchess, stated that the couple will be meeting “leaders, youth and women who embody the voices and aspirations of Colombians committed to progress,” as per BBC.

Having faced criticism, bullying, and attacks on social media, Harry and Meghan were prompted to campaign for a safer internet.

Recently, they launched the Parents’ Network, an initiative designed to offer a safe and supportive community for parents dealing with the impact of social media harm on their children.

Speaking to CBS, Harry said, “I think, one of the scariest things that we’ve learnt over the course of the last 16, 17 years that social media’s been around, and more so recently, is the fact that it could happen to absolutely anybody.”

He added: “We always talk about in the olden days if your kids were under your roof, you knew what they were up to; at least they were safe, right?  And now, they could be in the next-door room on a tablet or on a phone and can be going down these rabbit holes. And before you know it, within 24 hours, they could be taking their life.”

As Harry and Meghan emerged from a building to greet the crowd, Meghan made a comment, and lip reader Nicola Hickling shared with Mirror that the Duchess said “hand” to her husband, to what he responded “Here you go.”

Royal expert and author Robert Jobson writes that the Sussexes’ arrival to Colombia has “raised more questions than answers” with locals.

“When Harry and Meghan touched down, it wasn’t just the Colombian sun that made people squint. It was the blinding glare of their celebrity,” Jobson said, wondering whether the couple are a “shiny distraction to keep the people from looking too closely at the cracks in the walls.” Further, he questioned who’s paying for all the luxuries and the security, which was described as “massive” by the Independent journalist Nick Pisa, who accompanied Harry, Meghan, and the vice president.

“We’ve seen 14 car and police van convoys carrying the Sussexes through the streets of Bogotá since they arrived this morning and have been on four engagements,” Pisa said.

“There’s a bit of controversy with the vice president over the fact that she seems to travel everywhere by helicopter, but we should say she has been subjected to several death threats and also several attempted assassinations.”

The journalist added: “It does raise serious questions about why Harry thinks that Great Britain might be a little bit too unsafe for him, but he’s happy to stand next to someone who has, unfortunately, quite literally got a target on her back.”

Indeed, Colombia may not be the safest place to travel to as the U.S. Department of State has Colombia on a Level 3 travel advisory, urging visitors to “reconsider travel” due to “crime and terrorism,” yet, Harry and Meghan accepted the invitation to visit the country. So, it doesn’t come as a surprise that they received backlash for this decision, having in mind they claim they fear for their children’s safety in the UK and that’s the reason they don’t travel there.

Hilary Fordwich, royal expert, told Fox: “This entire tour is the height of Harry’s hypocrisy. Yet another stop on their ‘worldwide privacy tour.’”

She added: “He has claimed he is concerned regarding security in the U.K. [but] Colombia is ranked far more dangerous.”

Royal reporter Duncan Larcombe said on GB News, “Every time there’s an official royal tour, an overseas visit, it’s always at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office because of soft diplomacy.”

“There’s a reason that’s got to happen. Harry and Meghan have effectively just decided to accept invitations. They went to Nigeria earlier this year. Again, that had nothing to do with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Larcombe added: “It had nothing to do with their status as royals other than they were able to be persuaded to go. I think the question that everyone’s asking is, ‘why on earth are they there?’ What are they trying to achieve?’”

“It’s hard to fit them all in. He always says he can’t come to Great Britain with Meghan because it’s too dangerous without his royal security. Yet he goes to a country that I think I’m right in saying the Foreign and Commonwealth Office warned British subjects not to go there.”
