Since it first aired back in 2006, one of our favorite shows, America’s Got Talent, has launched many talents who now have impressive careers.

When Sophie Fatu first took that stage, she was just 5 years old. And even being that young, she still managed to wow the audience and the whole country.

Not only her vocal abilities were pretty impressive, but the fact that she memorized the lyrics of the song “New York, New York,” by Frank Sinatra without making a single mistake was awe-inspiring.

With her cute smile, blue eyes, and long wavy hair, Sophie stole the hearts of many. Simon even tried to “set her up” with her son Eric who had a crush on her.

After the show, sweet Sophie pursued a career in music and is now known as one of the most famous child jazz singers.

This time, she caught the attention of many once again after she posted a video of her and her mom performing “Shallow” from A Star is Born. Listening to the mesmerizing voices of this mother and daughter duo blend in perfection, it’s safe to say that the saying “the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree” is completely true for them. It looks like the talent for music runs in the genes of this family.

From the way Sophie is looking at her mom, we can say she admires her and sees her as her role model. The video which was taken a year ago, when Sophie was 6 years old has been seen over 3.7 million times. Once you hear them belting the lyrics you’ll understand why.

When Sophie starts singing it’s like magic filling the air. And the moment mom Vicky joins, the experience is lifted to a whole new level. These two aren’t just adorable mother and daughter but a singing match made in Heaven.

Vicky is from Russia and she’s pretty famous there as she’s a singer and a pianist player who started her career when she was around Sophie’s age.

Speaking to the Daily Press, Vicky said, “I was a little older than Sophie when my career started. I was discovered very early and I toured and traveled the world. I played for the Pope and the Queen of England and also won the World Piano Competition at the age of 13. It was a fun life.”

However, after she had her kids, she put her career on hold and dedicated her time to her family. But now that Sophie’s talent has been noticed by the world, Vicky’s career seems to be taking off again.

“I believe things happen for a reason and that there’s a right time for everything. Thanks to Sophie’s career taking off, that has led me into meeting my new manager and am back to performing and to claiming what was mine all those years ago,” Vicky added.

The good thing is that this isn’t the only joint performance between Vicky and her sweet daughter Sophie.

Listen to them perform in the video below and enjoy. And yes, don’t forget to share this with your friends.
