Two years after announcing their separation, Jason Momoa, the star of Aquaman and Game of Thrones, and his wife of 18 years Lisa Bonet divorced.
As per marriage dissolution papers obtained by The Times, citing “irreconcilable differences,” Bonet listed their date of separation as October 7, 2020, coinciding with their third wedding anniversary and approximately 15 years since they first became a couple. The couple tied the knot in October 2017.
The two settled for joint custody of their two children — Lola Iolani Momoa, 16, and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa, 15.
The obtained documents stated that neither party is seeking financial support and that they have reached an agreement on the division of their assets.
Now that he’s officially single, rumors are that Momoa might be directing his attention towards one of the most renowned Hollywood stars, Demi Moore.
It was reported by the Daily Mail that when Momoa met Moore, he was totally smitten.
Allegedly, he’s been sending her text messages ever since they met at a screening of the documentary Common Ground in Beverly Hills on January 18th.
“After they chatted, Jason snagged her number from a mutual friend, and he’s been laying it on thick, telling her she’s the most gorgeous woman he’s ever seen,” a source said, as per Radar Online.
“He’s been texting her, saying he hopes she has a day as beautiful as she is,” the insider added.
“It’s super cheesy, but Demi’s loving it.”
“He’s been begging her for a date and even calling pals who know her, asking them to put in a good word for him,” said the source.
“The idea of hooking up with Demi is a huge fantasy for Jason. He thinks they would make a great match and says Demi could teach him a lot.”
However, Moore seems to be playing cool, but the source says that “if he keeps this up it’s only a matter of time before she’ll crack!”
Ever since Bruce Willis’ dementia diagnosis, Moore is spending quite a lot of time with her ex-husband and helps his current wife Emma taking care of him.
As of Momoa, following his split with Bonet, he’s been living in his van and shares glimpses of his “van life” on social media.
Time will tell if Momoa and Moore would ever be a couple.
