A girl named Nicole Cortez Figg got married and she got all the help from her bridesmaids, her mom, and others from the family. But the gift she got from her loving father is something so special that it brought tears of joy in our eyes.
Nicole is a sign language interpreter and she simply loves what she does. Knowing how important her job is for his daughter, Nicole’s father blended this passion of hers, along with some crazy dancing moves, and the final result left everyone in awe.
Nicole had no idea that for an entire year leading up to her wedding, her father was meeting up with her best friend at a coffee shop who was helping him learn how to sign the lyrics to the song “I Loved Her First,” by Heartland.
Once the father took the stage for his speech, everyone thought he was about to say something funny, but what he really did was beyond touching. The guests cheered him on.
As soon as the melody started playing, he made hand motions to sigh the song in sign language, and that’s when everyone realized it was about to be the most beautiful thing he could do for the girl he loves to the moon and back.
It’s amazing how he perfected the whole song, without missing any sign.
The bride and the groom are left speechless as tears of excitement start rolling down their face. Nicole couldn’t believe what she was seeing and neither the guests. They have never been part of a wedding reception like this before and it’s definitely something they’ll never forget.
