A Happy Meal and a heart full of sorrow

While waiting my order at the local McDonald’s, I couldn’t help but notice the worried expression on the face of a mother who entered the restaurant with her daughter, who didn’t seem to be older than six. Excited, the girl asked her mom if they could have a Happy Meal.

The mom seemed worried, but looking at her daughter, she agreed.

They took a seat next to my table, and I saw the mom splitting the burger in two, giving her daughter the bigger portion. She then took out a small thermos and poured tea into a plastic cup she had brought along.

She paid for the food with a crumpled wad of cash she held tightly in her hand.

As I had my food, I could help by overhear parts of their conversation.

It turned out the two were returning from the hospital when the girl asked for a Happy Meal.

She had never had any, and her mom wanted to grant her the wish.

I didn’t know what condition was the girl suffering from, but I overheard the medical expenses were huge.

Wanting to ease their day, I ordered another burger and placed it on their table. “For the girl,” I said and smiled. Both the mom and the daughter thanked me, and it was obvious my gesture meant a lot to them.

That night, I couldn’t stop thinking about them, so the following day, I went to the hospital they mentioned.

There, I learned that the girl was diagnosed with leukemia, and the mother quit her job as a teacher to be able to take care of her full-time.

From that moment on, I helped however I could. Whether it was with groceries, bus tickets, or an occasional Happy Meal from McDonald’s.

The mom wouldn’t accept much, so I found ways to anonymously cover some of the medical expenses.

One day, at McDonald’s, the girl, Lily, approached me and said, “Thanks for helping my mom.”

It was then that I learned my efforts brought them a bit of relief.

Doctor has warning for anyone who notices bubbles in their urine when they go to the toilet

Our bodies often offer subtle signs that something isn’t right with our health, we just have to learn to listen and not ignore the cues, such as unusual pain, persistent discomfort, or any changes in bodily function, including bubbles in the urine.

Dr Shirley Koeh, a medical practitioner, shared a video in which she explains what it means when someone notices bubbles in their urine.

First thing first, she explains that it is important to notice if the presence of the bubbles is just a one time things, which would mean the person needs to hydrate, or the bubbles appeared more than once.

According to her, the presence of bubbles in the urine may indicate the presence of protein in the urine, and the reasons for this can be various.

“If you have done the above,” referring to trying to stay hydrated, “and yet the bubbles don’t go away, then we need to consider the following,” she explained, and added there are two types of tests that can provide answers.

The most accurate test is the one done in the lab. An analysis of a urine sample can determine if there is a presence of “any microalbumin, which is the small protein that will exist in your urine.”

The second test is “just by a simple urine dipstick test.”

If the tests indicate the presence of protein, it can mean the person suffers from hypertension, diabetes, chronic infections (such as HPV), autoimmune disease, or kidney disease secondary to drug intake, caused by ‘chronic drug and alcohol misuse’ which can lead to severe kidney damage or even failure.

Vikas Desai, MD, a urologist at Delnor Hospital, says bubbles in the urine can also indicate blood cancer.

At pregnant women, foamy urine may indicate a serious condition known as preeclampsia. These individuals need to see a doctor as soon as possible.

Barron Trump’s stylist explains what he is really like

Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, has lived a life out of the spotlight. The public has been eager to learn more about his private life, but what we know so far is that he attends the New Your University. He is pursuing a degree in economics and finances at the Stern School of Business. Recently, however, Barron Trump’s stylist spoke of the young man and revealed what he is really like.

Since his father was sworn in as a president of the United States for the second time, Barron’s parents moved to the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue property. Barron, however, won’t be joining them, since he’s studying in New York.

He would be staying at the Trump Tower, and his mother would be visiting, as it was reported that the first lady plans to split her time between Washington DC, New York, and Florida.

“Whether or not others think he is capable of being on his own, Melania feels it’s better to be around him as much as possible,” source close to the couple shared with People. “I see that continuing.”

One thing about Barron that everyone is talking about is his height. Donald Trump revealed his youngest son is 6 ft 8.

On the day of his dad’s inauguration, Barron was spotted shaking hands with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. As per a lip reader, he greeted Biden, saying, “G’day to you sir” before turning to Harris with the words, “Ma’am, good day.”

As expected, the video of the interaction has gone viral and has been seen over half a million times.

The public praised the young Trump for his manners, with many agreeing Melania did an awesome job raising him right.

Now, Barron Trump’s stylist, Nathan Pearce, the chief executive officer at luxury styling service Bespoke Pearce, spoke of young Trump.

Speaking to Women’s Wear Daily, Pearce said, “He’s this super-bright kid. He’s well beyond his years in terms of experience, knowledge, history. He’s just very fascinating to talk to.

“You know what is another word I would say [about him]? Hospitable. He is down-to-earth, nice as can be and hospitable,” Pearce continued, recalling how Barron shook his hand when they first met and offered to show him around the Florida estate.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know him over the last one or two years,” Pearce explained.

“I recognize that Barron Trump could be choosing from tailors all over the world, and he chose me and Pearce Bespoke. I’m super-grateful and super-proud of that,” Pearce added.

“He’s hilarious. But as I said, he’s super-sharp. You put him in a room with star businessmen and he will hold his own. He can talk to them all day because he’s witty, smart and has a dry sense of humor,” the stylist concluded.

Melania Trump made harsh comment about how the Obamas left the White House before Trump moved in the first time round

In an interview with Fox & Friends, Melania Trump, whose husband sworn in as a president of the United States for the second time on January 20, spoke about being a First Lady again. Asked if there would be any differences in how she and Donald moved into the White House this time, compared to their move after the administration of the Obamas, she didn’t hold back.

Among the rest, Melania said, “The difference is I know where I will be going. I know the rooms where we will be living. I know the process.

“The first time was challenging, we didn’t have much of the information, the information was upheld (withheld) for us from previous administration.”

However, this wasn’t everything Melania Trump had to say about the Obamas.

In her book titles Melania, the Slovenian-born former model said the Obamas denied the family ‘crucial’ early access to the residence. This resulted in delays with the renovations.

Moreover, “protocols and politics” interrupted the smooth transition she hoped for.

“Unfortunately my plans to begin preparing the residence before the inauguration were disrupted by protocols and politics,” she wrote in her bestseller book.

“Sadly our team did not receive the access we had requested to visit the White House residence in December.”

At the time, Melania wanted to provide suitable conditions for her son, Barron.

Her son was attending Columbia Grammar & Preparatory School in New York City. She and Barron only moved to the White House after the end of the school year.

“While the logistics of relocating can be challenging, my priority was to create a sense of stability and familiarity for Barron during this transition.

“I was dedicated to ensuring that he had a smooth and positive experience,” she wrote.

Melania recalled that she started the renovations after they moved to the White House, as the Obamas broke a ‘customary’ tradition.

“Those three weeks would have been crucial for taking measurements, gathering plans, and starting preparations.”

Further, she opened up about the condition of the 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue residence when Donald took office.

“The existing style was outdated or not to my taste,” Melania wrote.

“Barron’s room was a priority. He was the first young boy to live in the White House since John Kennedy Jr.” However, the children’s bedrooms had been decorated for girls for sixty years. The mom of one wanted to create a place that would suit her son’s needs.

Meanwhile, former First Lady Michelle Obama did not join her husband at Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.

Melania and Donald Trump’s unusual sleeping arrangements at White House revealed

The famous 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue residence Donald Trump and wife Melania returned to after Trump won the elections and was sworn in as a president on January 20 has six levels, 132 rooms, including 35 bathrooms, 16 bedrooms, multiple offices, dining rooms, and other spaces.

However, it was said that the couple did not share a bedroom during Trump’s first presidency.

Allegedly, they won’t be sharing one this time either.

According to White House sources, Donald and Melania are “loners” and their relationship is rather “complicated.”

Allegedly, there were days when the two would spend their days at the White House without seeing each other.

Michael Wolff, the author of the book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, wrote: “Trump, in fact, found the White House to be vexing and even a little scary.

“He retreated to his own bedroom – the first time since the Kennedy White House that a presidential couple had maintained separate rooms.”

At the time, President Trump dubbed the book “really boring and untruthful.”

However, it wasn’t just Wolff who had presented the claims of the unusual sleeping arrangements.

In a Washington Post feature from 2018, a source disclosed that then-President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump did not share a bedroom.

First lady scholar Annette Dunlap shared with People that the last time couples occupied separate bedrooms in the White House was Patricia and Richard Nixon. Prior to the 1970s, it wasn’t particularly unusual for couples to have separate sleeping arrangements.

“It was kind of a European thing,” Dunlap said at the time. “The idea of sleeping in the same bed together in the late 19th century and into the early 20th century was a symbol of poverty, because you couldn’t afford your own bed or your own bedroom.”

Biographer Mary Jordan, who interviewed White House staff, claimed that the president and the First Lady slept in separate bedrooms.

“They spend a shocking amount of time physically apart. And yet, the first call he often makes after a speech or a rally is to her. It’s a mystery,” Jordan said.

In her book Free, Melania, CNN correspondent Kate Bennett revealed Donald and Melania’s sleeping arrangements. She wrote that Trump slept in the White House master suite on the second floor, while his wife’s bedroom was on the floor above.

How Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship affects Barron Trump’s US citizenship

The first moments in office for President Trump started with signing executives orders, among which the delay of the TikTok ban, withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement and the World Health Organization, as well as the one that ends birthright citizenship.

Birthright citizenship represents a legal principle enshrined in the Constitution that grants American citizenship to anyone born on the territory of the country.

Trump aims at denying citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants or people who are in the country on temporary visas. It would apply to those born after February 19, and will not apply retroactively.

As per the BBC, implementing Trump’s plan is easier said than done.

In fact, in order for the legal principle that grants birthright citizenship to change, it would require a two-thirds vote in both chambers of Congress.

On Thursday, U.S. District Judge John Coughenour temporarily blocked the order, dubbing it “blatantly unconstitutional.”

Civil rights organizations will likely mount lawsuits, arguing that the policy violates the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

Twenty-two states, together with San Francisco and the District of Columbia, have filed lawsuits against the federal government, challenging the executive order.

Would this executive order affect Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, in any way, many questioned.

The answer is no, because when Barron was born in Manhattan in 2006, he became a US citizen by birth. At the time, his Slovenian-born mother, Melania Trump, was a lawful permanent resident who has held a green card since 2001.

His father, as we all know, is a ‘natural-born US citizen.’

Some of the executive orders Trump signed shortly after his inauguration would face legal challenges, including the one to end birthright citizenship.

This raised the question about the scope of presidential authority.

Elon Musk overhears a Starbucks worker’s struggles to purchase a gift for her daughter

Elon Musk, the owner of X (formerly Twitter), Tesla and SpaceX, who tends to play a bigger role in the fast-growing world of artificial intelligence, has shown that behind the money and power lies a man who would step up for those in need.

Allegedly, while waiting for his coffee at Starbucks, the tech genius overheard a cashier speaking to a co-worker about her daughter’s upcoming birthday. The cashier mentioned that despite working long hours, she wasn’t able to afford something special for her girl.

Witnesses said that Elon Musk stepped in and engaged in a conversation with the employee, asking her about her daughter, and her likes and dislikes.

To the cashier’s surprise, Elon Musk not only offered words of encouragement, but also showed that he had a heart of gold by offering to purchase the gift himself.

Allegedly, he placed the order right there and then, and had the gift delivered to the cashier’s address.

Once people shared the story on social media, it quickly went viral and attracted the attention of many

A number of netizens were skeptical that this actually occurred and questioned the authenticity of the event, but there were also those who didn’t doubt it.

Those who believed the story was genuine applauded the businessman and dubbed his gesture thoughtful.

Some added that it is refreshing to witness someone in the position of power and money like Elon Musk to pay attention to the everyday struggles of ordinary people, such as a cashier from a local caffee.

Every act of kindness, no matter how small, can go a long way. It can inspire each and every one of us to do good and be the change we want to see in the world.

Hidden detail in Melania photo has everybody talking

Melania Trump’s appearance has changed over the years, leading some to believe in the conspiracy theory that she may have used a body double on certain occasions.

However, specialists attribute the First Lady‘s altered appearance to the use of botox, fillers, and a possible nose job.

In a 2016 interview with GQ, the Slovenian-born former model claimed she’s all natural.

“I didn’t make any changes,” she said. “A lot of people say I am using all the procedures for my face. I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life; I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections; I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.”

On the day of the 2024 elections, which her husband won, Melania was spotted wearing unusually large sunglasses indoors.

People started questioning her fashion choice, and many speculated that her wearing sunglasses was related to having had some form of cosmetic work done on her face.

That, or that wasn’t Melania at all, but her body double. This led to the conspiracy theory that went viral, along with the hashtag #FakeMelania.

“Why is Trump using a quite bad #FakeMelania stand-in with gigantic shades at the polling station? LOL Total madness!” someone wrote on X.

Another shared a photo of her standing next to her husband at the voting poles, with the caption:  “They brought back #fakemelania for the series finale!” 

A third added, “Absolutely walking around with a fake Melania. Refuses to take her sunglasses off indoors. Not her face, not her nose, not her hair and she actually smiled, so definitely not her.”

Dr. Dennis Schimpf, a South Carolina-based cosmetic plastic surgeon, believes the First Lady “probably had additional filler work done anticipating” the media attention she received during and following the elections.

Another surgeon, Dr. Thomas Barnes, said “[Melania] just looked plain tired.”

Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Motykie said there are visible signs of fillers and a nose job on the First Lady.

“But I have noticed a change in her nose. Noses don’t typically get smaller as they get older; they get bigger, but hers is definitely smaller and more defined, so I am very suspicious for at least one rhinoplasty [nose job],” he said. “I do think she’s likely doing the maintenance work as well—fillers, particularly in the mid-face, cheeks, maybe a touch in the lips, and the standard Botox upkeep.”

People were quick to provide their opinions, with one person writing, “There’s no denying she’s always been a beautiful woman… but please, who is she trying to kid by saying she’s not had any work done? Own it; we wouldn’t think any less of you. You get a pass for having put up with Trump all these years.”

Another wrote: “With her money and the pressure on women in the USA to look 25 at 75 of course she has! They all do it and they all deny it saying it’s down to good nutrition and Nivea cream!” 

No matter what, Melania is indeed a very beautiful woman.

Girl, 6, and father found dead after she misses school

Hope Gordon, a 6-year-old school girl from West Calder, Scotland, and her father, Mark Gordon, 36, were found dead in their family home.

Police went to check on the girl after she failed to attend school on Monday, January 20.

”Police Scotland responded to what we class as a ‘concern for’ call on Monday January 20,” Chief Superintendent Gregg Banks said. ”That call related to concern from a family member around their child failing to attend school.”

Gordon and Hope’s mother shared custody. However, according to authorities, the girl was staying with her dad for some time.

Officials stated there was no evidence at the time to suggest third-party involvement.

Following a post-mortem investigation, Police Scotland said the tragic incident is being treated as a suspected murder-suicide, as per The Sun.

Detective Superintendent Grant Hendry, of the Major Investigation Team, said: “Our thoughts remain with Hope’s family and friends, along with everyone affected by this tragedy.

“The families are understandably devastated and we are providing them with support through specialist officers at this extremely difficult time.

“Our team of officers continue to carry out enquiries to get answers for the families and at this time, we have no information to suggest anyone else is involved.

DCI Williamson asked from the public to help with the ongoing investigation.

“I would ask that anyone with any information, no matter how small or insignificant you think it is, gets in touch with officers.”

Chief Superintendent Gregg Banks said the shock withing the community is understandable. However, there is no wider risk for the public since the tragedy is an isolated incident.

“We are working tirelessly to understand what happened within the property and answer questions from devastated family members.”

Hope was a student at Toronto Primary School in Livingston.

Fiona Linfoot, a head teacher, said Hope was “a bright, bubbly and affectionate girl.”

“Hope was a much-loved member of the Toronto Primary family. She will be hugely missed by all her friends and school staff.”

“We will really miss her infectious smile and kind heart.”

Legal expert warns that Biden’s pardons for Cheney, Fauci, and others could backfire

Before leaving office, former President Joe Biden issued pardons to key allies in an attempt to protect them from Trump’s administration. Many dubbed the move smart and strategic.

However, this decision may easily backfire, and here’s why.

Among the individuals Biden pardoned are Liz Cheney, a Republican congresswoman from Wyoming and co-chair of the Jan. 6 Committee, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the leading expert on infectious diseases who played a crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, General Mark Milley, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

In a Monday statement, Biden said, “These public servants have served our nation with honor and distinction and do not deserve to be the targets of unjustified and politically motivated prosecutions.”

If Congress subpoenas them to testify in the future, the individuals granted clemency, among which Biden’s siblings and their spouses, will not be able to invoke the Fifth Amendment.

“The pardons are actually great news. No one who was just pardoned will be able to refuse to testify in a civil, criminal, or congressional proceeding based upon the 5th Amendment. And let’s just be realistic. Most of these disgusting individuals would probably have to be charged in Washington, DC, which doesn’t convict partisan leftists,” federal litigation attorney Jesse Binnall pointed out on X.

Some believe the pardons undermine the integrity of the justice system.

Retired U.S. Army officer and lawyer Kurt Schlichter commented on the matter. “This is key – the depositions and the actual testimony must take place outside of Washington DC,” he wrote on X.

“Washington DC is a biased venue that will not convict Democrats when they commit perjury. Accordingly, take this show on the road.”

Following the pardons, House Oversight Committee Republicans reminded that the former president previously pardoned his son. “Joe Biden will be remembered for using his last few weeks in office to shield his son from the law and protect himself,” they wrote.

“President Biden’s preemptive pardons for the Biden Crime Family serve as a confession of their corruption as they sold out the American people to enrich themselves,. Our investigation revealed that at least ten members of the Biden Crime Family and their associates raked in over $30 million by selling Joe Biden’s influence to corrupt foreign entities and individuals in China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan.”

This decision Biden made in the final hours of his service as a president may influence future clemency policies. Pardons may become strategic tools easily misused by those holding the power.

Those receiving Biden’s pardons have all faced intense criticism from Trump and his allies.

Daughter of George W Bush comments on Barack Obama being a ‘bad influence’ after a lip reader reveals inauguration exchange

The inauguration of President Donald Trump was attended by the likes of Bill and Hillary Clinton, George W Bush and Laura Bush, and Barack Obama, who attended the event without his wife.

At one point, former President George W Bush stole the attention with his antics, which his daughter, Jenna Bush Hager, jokes warns him about.

Speaking on Today, she discussed with her co-workers the clip of her father at Trump’s inauguration that has since gone viral.

“He goes viral for basically anything, he didn’t do anything!” Hager told co-host Scarlett Johansson laughingly about the video of Bush raising his eyebrows in a cheeky way. “I mean, that’s what his face looks like.”

“You all already guessed what moment has been blowing up our family group chat,” she added.

But as Hager said, we shouldn’t only blame her dad because he “was also seated next to a bad influence,” referring to Obama.

Of course, she was just joking, trying to highlight the friendship between the two former presidents.

“Take a look at what former President Barack Obama had to say,” Hager said before a video of the exchange between Barack Obama and George W Bush was played. “I just love how when they’re together, they become unusual friends,” she added.

Previously, lip-reader Jackie G, who is deaf, shared on Instagram what she thought Bush and Obama said to each other at the inauguration.

“Good to see you,” Obama said, and then added with a smile: “How can we stop what’s happening?”

Jackie G wrote that “Lip reading is not a reliable form of communication, all statements are alleged.” She captioned her post: “Obama ‘just barely’ behaving.”

JFK’s grandson speaks out as Trump orders release of assassination files

President Trump’s decision to sign an executive order that allows classified documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F Kennedy to be released triggered criticism from Jack Schlossberg, JFK’s grandson.

Trump believes that the public deserves to know the whole truth surrounding the assassination of the former president, as well as the details surrounding the execution of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. and Senator Robert F Kennedy.

The executive order signed by President Trump states: “More than 50 years after the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F Kennedy, and the Rev Dr Martin Luther King, Jr, the federal government has not released to the public all of its records related to those events.”

It continued: “Their families and the American people deserve transparency and truth. It is in the national interest to finally release all records related to these assassinations without delay.”

Signing the order, Trump turned to the reporters and said, “Everything will be revealed.”

The assassinations of President John F Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and the Rev Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. were carried out by lone gunman, and the fact that records with details of the killings remained classified for many years triggered a number of conspiracy theories.

“Lot of people are waiting for this for a long, long time, for years, for decades, and everything will be revealed,” Trump said.

As some applauded Trump’s decision, Jack Schlossberg, JFK’s grandson, opposed it.

“JFK conspiracy theories — The truth is a lot sadder than the myth — a tragedy that didn’t need to happen. Not part of an inevitable grand scheme.

“Declassification is using JFK as a political prop, when he’s not here to punch back. There’s nothing heroic about it,” he posted on X.

A number of people commented on the post, asking if Schlossberg has actually seen the files, to what he replied, “I know everything d***.”

“Imagine not wanting to know how your grandfather died… how weird,” someone wrote.

The son of late Senator Robert F Kennedy, Robert F Kennedy Jr., whom Trump nominated as secretary of the U.S. Health and Human Services Department, told NBC News, “I’m very grateful to President Trump.” 

“I think it’s a great move, because they need to have more transparency in our government, and he’s keeping his promise to have the government tell the truth to the American people about everything,” Kennedy Jr. said.

President Kennedy was killed on Nov. 22, 1963, after being shot while riding in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas. His brother was assassinated five years later. At the time, he represented New York in the U.S. Senate.

Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. was shot on April 4, 1968 while standing on a balcony of a motel in Memphis, Tennessee.

President Trump believes that the release of the files is “long overdue.”

People are starting to see how Trump’s revocation of the Equal Employment Opportunity influenced workers

Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony was marked by tradition, the presence of established political figures. But also with a number of executive actions reflecting his administration’s priorities. The new president signed 25 executive orders on the day he took office, and a particular one stood out – the revocation of Executive Order 11246, known as Equal Employment Opportunity.

This order, which was signed by former President Lyndon B. Johnson in 1965, has served as a key policy in preventing discrimination in federal employment while ensuring equal opportunities for all.

It bans discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin thus obliges federal contractors to adopt diversity-focused affirmative action plans.

Revoking the Equal Employment Opportunity order doesn’t mean discrimination is now legal. However, it certainly means it is a step toward weakening defenses against racism and other biases.

Trump spoke openly about his plan to revoke the Equal Employment Order before heading to the White House. He said it was necessary to backpedal DEI programs because they are “dangerous, demeaning, and immoral.”

Trump, and other republicans, believe the DEI policies (diversity, equity, and inclusion) disadvantage people in majority groups in an unfair way.

While revoking the order, Trump can’t revoke the Equal Employment Opportunity Act since it represents a law that was passed by Congress and signed by former president Richard Nixon in 1972.

Nonetheless, Trump’s action triggered criticism. 

“Good for straight white males. Bad for everyone else,” someone posted on the social media. 

Basil Smikle Jr, a political strategist and policy advisor, commented: “There’s this clear effort to hinder, if not erode, the political and economic power of people of color and women.

“What it does is opens up the door for more cronyism.”

What did Barron Trump say to Joe Biden at his dad’s inauguration? It sparked an online debate

Is it safe to say that it was Donald Trump‘s youngest son, Barron Trump, that stole the show at his father’s inauguration? According to many, the answer is a resounding yes.

Barron, who is now 18, began his freshman year at New York University’s Stern School of Business in September 2024. He’s reportedly pursuing a degree in business and finance.

At the time being, the young Trump is residing at Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan, commuting to campus for his classes.

According to his mother, who spoke to Fox in September, 2024, “It was [Barron’s] decision to come here, that he wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home.”

However, according to an insider, she wants to keep a watchful eye on her son.

“Living in a dorm in a college town isn’t in the stars for him at this point,” an insider told People in December 2024 when speaking about Barron’s living situation. “Melania feels it’s better to be around him as much as possible.” 

Body language expert Judy James spoke of Barron Trump and his appearance at his father’s inauguration, saying that now the boy is all grown up, he’s “working as a sweeper.”

“This means he tends to arrive and leave behind his parents, but instead of just walking off behind them as he did when he was younger, he spends time shaking hands and offering gracious-looking words,” James continued, concluding by saying that “defines” Barron’s presence and status without having to compete with his father.”

“He lets everyone know that he is becoming a force to be reckoned with in his own right and because of his height and the increase in his confidence signals, it gives him a rather princely air, presence-wise. Biden had been on the receiving end of a flame-thrower speech from Trump, where he had sat in a variety of poses including pained deflation and bravado smiling as his entire four years in office were scorched to ashes.”

One thing that caught everyone’s attention was Barron’s quick interaction with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

According to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Barron greeted Biden saying, “G’day to you sir” before turning to Harris with the words, “Ma’am, good day.”

Biden replied, “It’s good to see you, man.”

Body language expert Judy James said Barron “very confidently” and “charmingly” bent to shake hands with Biden.

“And although Biden’s face seems to fall as though Barron has passed on some kind of sinister threat or message, the truth was less dramatic as Barron seemed to be leaning to greet Kamala and Biden’s face was registering the fact that he’d finished his greeting ritual with Trump’s son,” James said.

As expected, people praised the young gentleman for his action, dubbing him as well-mannered and saying his mother did an awesome job raising him.

The ‘hidden meaning’ behind Barron Trump’s unique hand gesture

Donald Trump was sworn in as president for the second time, and during his inauguration speech, among the rest, he praised his son, Barron Trump.

During Donald Trump’s inauguration, social media quickly gained momentum over the interaction in which the young Trump shook hands with former President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

The public praised for greeting his father’s opponents, with many agreeing that the president’s son is a well-mannered young man.

“I was very impressed by that gesture and from someone so young. To go across the aisle and shake their hands was a very classy and mature thing to do. Good for Barron,” one person wrote.

“Such a good young man… That gesture just tells you everything. Well done, Melania,” another added. 

Many were eager to learn what he said to Biden and Harris, and according to lip reader Jeremy Freeman, Barron greeted Biden saying, “G’day to you sir” before turning to Harris with the words, “Ma’am, good day.”

Biden replied, “It’s good to see you, man.”

Body language expert Darren Stanton considers Barron Trump’s unique hand gesture, known as the politician’s steeple, in which the fingertips on each hand touched to form a triangle shape, an authoritative position.

“It just shows they believe themselves to be an authority on the topic they’re discussing, and there are two main elements to this gesture. It’s a display of authority if their hands are together. They’re saying, ‘In my opinion, this is what needs to happen’. And they expect to be listened to,” Stanton said.

“Tapping whilst using the politician’s steeple means they’re considering what’s being said,” he added. “They’re essentially thinking whether there is any merit to it. People who work in Sales use this when they’re talking to people, as they are processing a lot of information as they speak.”

Currently, Barron Trump is attending New York University (NYU).

This means he won’t be residing in the White House. His mom, however, would be splitting her time between Washington DC., New York, and Florida.

‘Best dressed First Lady’: Melania Trump turns heads in an ‘elegant’ dress at the inaugural ball

As she accompanied her husband to the Liberty Inaugural Ball held in Washington, D.C., best dressed First Lady Melania Trump had all eyes on her.

She wore a stunning white floor-length dress with asymmetrical black accents running diagonally across the body designed by her trusted stylist Herve Pierre.

Melania and Pierre share a long history of trusted collaboration.

He designed the iconic white, off-the-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit and red ribbon at the waist that she wore to her husband’s 2017 inauguration. Pierre dressed the First Lady for a state dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron in 2018, as well as for the United Nations General Assembly.

Melania wore Pierre’s designs for foreign trips, holidays, and other public appearances.

This time, he shared the sketch of the dress for the inaugural ball with the caption: “It was such an honor to create the dress for the First Lady Melania Trump tonight.. I can’t thank her enough… it was a wonderful project, a great collaboration… as always !!!! A big thank to @atelieryqs for helping me on that project … your work is 👌🏻impeccable 🙏🏻 [sic].”

Pierre also released a statement, thanking the Slovenian-born model for their collaboration for this significant event. “It is a big honor to have collaborated with the First Lady on the design for her inaugural dress.” He added, “It was clear that Mrs. Trump was gravitating towards a combination of black and white – true to her own style and vision.”

The public seemed to be enchanted with her looks that made heads turn around.

Many agreed that she’s best dressed First Lady.

“Breathtaking!! 👏👏,” one person wrote, while another exclaimed, “Wow. Beautiful.”

“Beautiful and elegant, classic First Lady! Power couple 🇺🇸 🙌,” a third wrote.

Another admirer stated, “Oh wow😍 Best dressed First Lady 🇺🇸.” Someone else added: “Stunning! Class & Elegance are back in the White House 🥳🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻.”

For her husband’s inauguration, Melania opted for a custom double-breasted navy coat by Adam Lippes that she paired with a matching boater hat by Eric Javits, designed especially for the occasion.

While some praised her looks, others were asking themselves why she was hiding her eyes with the hat.

“The [sic] hat of Melania is very weird… like she wants to hide her eyes from something… or her forehead,” someone commented. “Melania’s hat looks ridiculous. That’s all I can think of,” another remarked.

No matter what one thinks of our First Lady, one thing is certain, her fashion statements are bold and she’s always dressed for the occasion.

Barron Trump sparks buzz over ‘fake tan’ rumors

During his father’s first presidential term, Barron Trump lived with his parents at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but now that’s he’s attending college in New York, things will be different.

While the young Trump will be spending his time in the Big Apple, he is welcomed to the White House any time, his mother told Fox.

“Obviously he’ll have a bedroom there, but he’s an adult, he’s in college now. I think he will come and visit, yes,” Melania said, adding she would love it if her son brings his friends.

“Yeah, whatever he would like to do, yes. I feel that as children, we have them till they are 18, 19 years old. We teach them, we guide them, and then we give them the wings to fly. And I always respect Barron’s yes and no, and what he likes to do, where he would like to be.”

It has been widely reported that Melania would be splitting her time between Washington DC, New York, and the family’s Florida estate.

“Whether or not others think he is capable of being on his own, Melania feels it’s better to be around him as much as possible,” source close to the couple shared with People. “I see that continuing.”

Other sources told the magazine that Trump’s second inauguration as president has changed things for Barron.

“Melania worries about the hate in the country and how it falls on her son, who is innocent of any of this,” the source said. “She is and has been a good sounding board for him. They talk about life as it is and how they are in the spotlight,” the source adds. “She tries to normalize his life. If that is even possible.”

Trump praised his son in his inauguration speech, asking the crowd if they had heard of his “tall son,” to which they replied with loud cheers.

“He knew the youth vote. You know we won the youth vote by 36 points,” Trump said. “He was saying, ’dad, I got to go out and to this and that one and we did a lot of them, Trump said and added: “He respects them all, he understood it very well. He said ’dad, you got to go out and do Joe Rogan, all these guys that we did. They were all great, right? Barron, they were all great.”

Barron Trump caught the public’s attention with his height. According to his dad, he stands at 6 feet 8. This time, however, he went viral for another reason, his tan that many say is fake.

Express US wrote that Barron was sporting a new ‘healthy glow,’ with the Mirror even claiming Barron Trump had a ‘bronze’ tan — just like his father.

At Monday’s church service in St. John’s Episcopal Church, Barron’s bronzed cheekbones and shiny forehead reminded many of Donald Trump.

For years, Trump’s orange-toned face has been a subject of discussion.

It is believed that President Trump puts on some sort of a bronzer that makes his face appear orangish.

Speaking to Metro, makeup artist Safia Cox explained why she believes the president started wearing bronzer.

“I think he uses some sort of fake tan or tinted moisturizer with a bronzer. I 100% do not think it’s sun beds as it would be a completely different tone,” Cox said.

Further, she added: “I think it’s some sort of fake tan or some sort of tinted moisturizer with bronzer, and he’s then used powder with it. It’s definitely some sort of cream product that he uses and has probably mattified it after because it’s so orange. You can see the rim around his face. If you look closely at his hairline, it’s very pale, and that’s not from sunbeds; he’s slapping some sort of cream product on.”

She added that “he has orange blindness or fake tan blindness,” but that he doesn’t even realize that. Cox dubbed his facial color bizzare.

Within hours of taking office, Donald Trump made a major mistake

On January 20, 2025, Donald Trump sworn in as the president of the country for the second time. However, within mere hours of taking office, he made a major mistake.

Right after his inauguration, he signed a number of executive orders, which represent legally-binding written orders to the federal government that does not require approval from the congress.

Among the rest, Trump withdrew the country from the landmark Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization, telling the crowd gathered at a sports arena in Washington DC that he would revoke “80 destructive and radical executive actions of the previous administration.”

Further, President Trump declared a national energy emergency, promising to fill up strategic oil reserves and distribute U.S. energy globally.

“We will be a rich nation again, and it is that liquid gold under our feet that will help to do it,” he said.

He declared illegal immigration at the US-Mexico border a national emergency, planning to send troops to help immigration agents and restrict refugees and asylum.

He signed executive orders regarding foreign affairs as well.

On his first day in office, President Trump made his first blunder.

Asked about NATO countries that don’t meet the minimum economic output on defense of 2%, including Spain, he said, “Spain is very low. They’re a BRICS nation, Spain. Do you know what a BRICS nation is? You’ll figure it out.”

However, Spain is not a BRICKS nation. In fact, BRICKS refers to an intergovernmental organisation for developing countries. These countries include Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Iran and the United Arab Emirates.

Further, Trump suggested he was going to put “at least a 100 per cent tariff on the business they do with the United States.”

These plans would bring an end to decades of free trade between the nations.

Minister Pilar Alegría, a spokesperson for the Spanish government commented Trump’s mistake. “I don’t know if the affirmation made by President Trump was the result of a mix-up or not, but I can confirm that Spain is not in BRICS,” she said.

A lip reader reveals Donald and Melania Trump’s private conversation during their inaugural ball dance

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump took the dance floor to celebrate and celebrated his inauguration with a inaugural ball dance.

The couple attended three balls, the Commander-in-Chief Ball, where they danced to a cover of Elvis’ An American Trilogy, the Liberty Ball, and the Starlight Ball at Union Station.

“We needed three because we have such support,” Trump addressed the crowd at the Liberty Ball which took place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

According to Tyla, Trump told his wife that nobody let him down that day. Allegedly, she replied: “Today is one we will never forget,” to what Trump added: “You’re right there, I’ll learn, I’ll fight.”

Melania then said, “I got you” prompting her husband to answer, “We’ll see. Will you control it? Less tricky, less pushing away?”

Freeman claimed the First Lady said, “It’s a no,” as the president assured, “I hear you.”

Another expert, body language expert Mark Bowden, dubbed the couple’s inaugural ball dance as awkward, stating Melania felt a bit uncomfortable. “This shaky start leaves Trump leaning his full weight forward, while Melania manages to meet him cheek to cheek. With her wide-brimmed hat no longer serving as a barrier, the couple is closer than earlier in the day-though precariously close to the ear that once took a bullet,” he observed.

For the liberty ball, Melania wore a dress from her trusted stylist Herve Pierre, who took to the social media to thank the First Lady for the colaboration.

The dress was a floor length white gown with asymmetrical black accents running diagonally across the body.

Melania Trump sparks body double conspiracy at inauguration

As the Americans begin to let the dust settle after the inauguration, the president’s wife, Melania Trump, continues to be in the center of attention, this time with a body double conspiracy that caused a stir among the public.

The inauguration was attended by high-level government officials, politicians, and various celebrities, but it was Melania who stole the show with her outfit.

The First Lady opted for a custom double-breasted navy coat by Adam Lippes that she paired with a matching boater hat by Eric Javits, designed especially for the occasion.

Her bold outfit made many question if she was trying to send a message -that she’s not someone you can mess with- on the historic day when her husband sworn in as a president for the second time.

“Makes her look hard. But maybe that’s what she wants to look like today, all business. Don’t mess with me kind of thing,” one person commented.

While some praised Melania Trump for her fashion statement and others mocked her choice of clothes, there were those who claimed that she wore what she did because she has a body double.

Those who believe in this conspiracy theory claim that the Slovenian-born former model left Trump a few years ago, and he found a body double to accompany him at significant events.

“That Bolero hat Melania is wearing won’t do much to dispel the rumors that she has a body double#TrumpInauguration2025,” one person wrote on X.

“Interesting outfit today. That hat is so low on her brow, you cannot see her face clearly. I honestly feel like that’s a body double and not the real Melania. Wouldn’t surprise me if Trump knew of threats to assassinate him and decided not to put her in harms way,” another wrote.

Some were suspicious because the weather in Washington didn’t request for hats to be worn on Trump’s inauguration day. “the melania body double only person wearing a hat in DC today,” they wrote.

As always, there were those who discussed the stupidity behind this conspiracy theory.

“Bologna! There’s no Melania body double! Why would she miss all the fun??” someone commented.

“Are you seeing the BS that is going around saying that hat and outfit was hiding a body double for Melania? Insanity[.] The ears tell the story,” someone else added.

Donald Trump responds to bishop’s confronting inaugural prayer sermon

Millions of people, not only from the Sates but beyond, watched the inauguration of President Donald Trump. Among the rest, the bishop’s sermon captured the attention of many by addressing topics that shocked listeners at such an event

During the sermon she delivered, Bishop Mariann Budde directly addressed President Donald Trump with a few requests.

“Let me make one final plea, Mr. President,” the bishop said in the latter part of her 15-minute sermon. “Millions have put their trust in you. And as you told the nation yesterday, you have felt the providential hand of a loving God.”

She urged Trump to have mercy on the people who fear for their future. Saying this, she appeared to have glanced at the president.

“There are gay, lesbian and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families, some who fear for their lives,” referring to the concerns of the LGBTQIA+ community regarding Trump’s administration.

In her sermon, she addressed some of the executive orders Trump signed. It included “recognizing that women are biologically distinct from men.” Also, the one that declared a national emergency at the southern border of the country, and several others focused on immigration, including one aimed at ending birthright citizenship.

“The people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings; who labor in poultry farms and meat packing plants; who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants and work the night shifts in hospitals, they – they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation. But the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals. They pay taxes and are good neighbors.”

Bishop Budde has been critical of Trump in the past.

In 2020, when Trump posed with a Bible outside St. John’s Episcopal Church after law enforcement dispersed racial justice protesters with chemical agents, the bishop wrote: “Everything he has said and done is to inflame violence… We need moral leadership, and he’s done everything to divide us.”

Further, during the sermon in question, the bishop added: “I ask you to have mercy, Mr. President, on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away. And that you help those who are fleeing war zones and persecution in their own lands to find compassion and welcome here. Our God teaches us that we are to be merciful to the stranger, she added. “For we were all once strangers in this land.”

Asked what he thought of the bishop’s sermon, President Trump said he “didn’t think it was a good service.”

Republican U.S. Representative Mike Collins from Georgia commented the bishop’s service on the social media. He wrote, “The person giving this sermon should be added to the deportation list.”

New wildfires break out in San Diego prompting officials to issue urgent evacuation orders

San Diego faced multiple wildfires on Tuesday, prompting school closures, power cutoffs, and urgent evacuation orders.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles officials remain on high alert due to strong winds and dry weather conditions.

Firefighters have battled three separate fires in the area of Northern San Diego that posed immediate threat to life in the area.

The largest of all, the Lilac Fire, affecting 85 acres. This led to evacuations in Bonsall, a small town roughly 45 minutes from San Diego.

As per reports, 86 residents were evacuated and two buildings were affected by the fire. Working tirelessly, firefighters have successfully contained approximately 50 percent of the Lilac Fire.

“Firefighters are making good progress on the fire. The fire activity has decreased significantly,” San Diego County Fire said in an update posted on X Tuesday morning.

The Riverview Fire, a second blaze, burned an acre of land before firefighters managed to contain it.

The Pala fire broke out an hour after the Lilac Fire, at around 2:30 a.m. local time. It burned around 17 acres of land.

San Diego County District 5 Supervisor Jim Desmond wrote on X that “Mandatory evacuation orders are in place, and I cannot stress enough the importance of evacuating immediately and listening to first responders.”

Desmond added that “Santa Ana winds are creating dangerous fire conditions — please do not wait to leave if you are in an evacuation zone.”

Emergency shelters for people and animals have been organized, and the San Diego Humane Society sent a response team to rescue six stranded horses.

The Red Cross mobilized volunteers to provide support at a temporary evacuation center in Escondido.

NBC issues apology following controversial remarks about Kamala Harris by Kristen Welker regarding Arlington Cemetery incident

Kristen Welker, the host of NBC’s Meet the Press has made a false claim regarding Vice-President Kamala Harris’ presence at the dignified transfer of 13 U.S. service members who lost their lives in the 2021 Kabul airport suicide bom**ng. 

The event was attended by then-President Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris was clearly not in attendance, contrary to Welker’s claim.

This sparked criticism against the news station that was forced to issue an official apology regarding the incident.

“On our broadcast this morning, we incorrectly implied that both President Biden and Vice President Harris attended the dignified transfer of 13 American service members killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal. Biden was in attendance but Harris was not,” NBC said in a statement.

During the Meet the Press edition in question, Welker spoke to Republican Senator Tim Cotton, who criticized President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for showing disrespect to the families of the 13 soldiers.

The two were invited to commemorate the third anniversary of botched withdrawal from Afghanistan that left the 13 U.S. service members killed. However, they failed to attend the event.

On the other hand, Donald Trump did attend it, which forced Biden and Harris’s administration to accuse him of using the event for political purposes.

Cotton explained that the Gold Star families wanted Donald Trump there.

“They wanted to take those photos. You know who the families also invited? Joe Biden and Kamala Harris,” Cotton said, adding: “where were they?”

“Joe Biden was sitting at a beach. Kamala Harris was sitting at her mansion in Washington, DC. She was four miles away — ten minutes. She could’ve gone to the cemetery and honored the sacrifice of those young men and women, but she hasn’t. [Kamala Harris] never has spoken to them or taken a meeting with them,” Cotton told Welker.

He added: “It is because of her and Joe Biden’s incompetence that those 13 Americans were killed in Afghanistan.”

It was then that Kristen Welker made the comment that caused a stir and triggered backlash.

“They did meet them during the dignified transfer. They were with them at the dignified transfer,” she said as per Fox News.

As expected, people were angry at the false claim Kristen Welker made.

“She didn’t ‘imply’ it, she outright said it. She lied to protect Kamala. Shame on you,” the X account Libs of TikTok commented. 

“This is precisely why people have such little trust in the media these days,” commented one user. “They struggle to get even the simplest facts right when it comes to defending their preferred politicians.”

Another added: “The fact-checking team at NBC really dropped the ball.”
