Thief Caught Stealing at a Convenience Store – Cops are Baffled With His Skill

Lyonswood Investigations & Forensics uploaded a video on their Facebook page recently and it caught the attention of many. Along with it, they asked whether someone could spot the crime caught on the camera at a convenience store.

Many were left in confusion by the skillful thief who tricked the cashier into believing that she gave him less money as a change.

The man, who was in his 50s, went inside the store to buy a pack of cigarette. But his initial plan, however, was to steal from the employee.

As he was waiting for the change, he was pretty anxious and wouldn’t stop fidgeting with his fingers because he was obviously concerned whether his trick will work or not.

After the cashier gave him the bills, he counted them in front of her telling her she made a mistake. She then gave him one more bill and he left the place.

Little did she know that he fooled her. Maybe it will take you a second look to realize what had really happened so in case you didn’t see what this man did look at the video again and see how he turns to the left a bit and puts one of the bills in his pants. But he does that so quickly that it’s unbelievable.

Apparently, this scam is called a short-change scam and it takes a lot of skill to be pulled through. So in case you are working at the register, always pay attention, because you may end up tricked this way.

Take a look at the act in the video below and make sure you share it with your friends.
