Prince William and Kate’s Christmas card photo sparks fan criticism

0

As per tradition, the royals shared the much-awaited Christmas card photo.

Exchanging Christmas greetings has been a royal custom since the early 1800s, with handcrafted cards made by Queen Victoria’s children still preserved by the Royal Collection Trust. Official family photographs followed later, starting with King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, and today continue to symbolise the family’s connection with the public during the festive season.

This year’s image shows Prince William and Princess Kate together with their three children sitting on a grassy field in Norfolk.

Princess Charlotte leans into her father, resting her head on his shoulder as she holds his arm, while Prince Louis reclines against his father’s chest. Princess Catherine stands close with her arm around George, smiling warmly in a setting that suggests spring.

While many found the photo the royals used to wish everyone happy holidays adorable, there were also those who criticised the family because of the lack of festive elements.

“Where is the Christmas?” one person wondered.

“Very lovely, but not very seasonal is it? The children change so much, so fast, it would be lovely to have a more recent picture IMHO,” another added.

“Has there been more photoshopping?” a fan questioned, adding: “Where are Kathy’s legs? Bill only has one leg.”

Another person wondered: “Why is there nothing Christmasy on the card?”

A fourth pointed out: ”Photo taken in April.”

Much of the criticism comes from the fact that the photo was taken back in April by photographer Josh Shinner, during the same shoot used to mark George’s 12th birthday and Louis’ seventh.

It isn’t the first time a royal Christmas card has sparked debate.

The family’s 2024 card, which featured a computer-generated snowy GIF, also drew attention after being released around the same time Princess Catherine shared a pre-recorded video confirming she had completed chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis earlier that year.

King Charles and Queen Camilla also released their own Christmas card on December 7. It was a photo taken in April for their 20th wedding anniversary at Villa Wolkonsky, the British ambassador’s residence in Rome. Set against a deep red background, the card featured a traditional message, “Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.”

Supreme Court Invalidates California’s Green Mandates

0

In a landmark 7–2 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court delivered a major setback to California’s green mandates, striking at the heart of Governor Gavin Newsom’s environmental goals. Writing for the majority, Justice Brett Kavanaugh argued that the state’s aggressive electric-vehicle requirements and strict emissions limits may overstep federal authority. The ruling opens the door for fuel and energy companies to challenge the Environmental Protection Agency’s prior approval of these rules. Kavanaugh criticized the agency sharply, noting that “the government may not suffocate an industry with unlawful regulation and then seek refuge in immunity,” and pointing out the EPA’s shifting legal interpretations over the years.

The decision is being celebrated by traditional energy producers, who view it as a long-awaited pushback against California’s sweeping climate directives.

For Newsom, however, it marks a significant political hurdle, especially since his 2035 plan to end the sale of gas-powered
vehicles has been a cornerstone of his environmental platform. The ruling arrives just as President Donald Trump has moved to dismantle several of California’s regulatory waivers, signaling a dramatic turning point in America’s ongoing fight over climate and energy policy.

On the same day, the Court issued another major 6–3 ruling that strengthened the authority of federal immigration officials, reinstating their broad enforcement powers. Together, these decisions send a clear warning: state governments may find it increasingly difficult to push
policies that stretch beyond federal boundaries, as the judiciary takes a firmer hand in defining regulatory limits.

Conclusion

The Supreme Court’s twin rulings underscore a pivotal recalibration of U.S. governance, reinforcing the primacy of federal authority and placing new constraints on state-driven regulatory efforts. For California, the climate ruling could force a significant reconsideration of its
ambitious push toward an all-electric future. On a national scale, these decisions suggest a judiciary more willing to intervene when state policies collide with federal law—reshaping the future of environmental regulation, energy policy, and immigration enforcement across the country.

Orlando Bloom sparks outrage after sharing ‘inappropriate’ photo of four-year-old daughter

0

Actor Orlando Bloom has come under fire after sharing what many dubber an inappropriate photo of his 4-year-old daughter.

Bloom posted a series of photos of him and daughter Daisy, whom she and ex Katy Perry welcomed in 2020, at the beach, and on one of them, the girl isn’t wearing any clothes.

Fans were quick to comment on Bloom’s photo, with a Redditor writing, “Some parents are such idiots. They don’t post this child’s face on social media, so they do understand privacy but then post a naked pic. Make it make sense.”

Another added: “I can’t help but feel like you have to be so out of touch to think it’s okay to post a naked photo of your daughter, to a huge fanbase, and not consider the repercussions.

“I can understand how that might be a meaningful photo for a parent, but not on the interweb for millions to see.”

@orlandobloom/Instagram

A third person commented: “Poor thing. I know having everything you desire would be nice, but having a celeb as a parent sounds like a special kind of headache for kids. Having a guardian so detached from reality is scary.”

Someone else pointed out: “I’m not saying him posting it was ill-intent or anything, but there are people on social media who will use it for ill-intent and inappropriate reasons.”

Others, however, stood up for the Pirate of the Caribbean star, dubbing his photo “innocent.”

“She’s gonna be four… I don’t understand everyone’s comments here. She’s going swimming with her father.

“Again she is four. This is not, not a normal thing… he covered her butt in the picture..

“I used to run around naked until I was almost seen and a lot of the kids I grew up with did also.

“It’s innocent and the fact that people are trying to make it weird ARE WEIRD AF.”

@orlandobloom/Instagram

Orlando has since deleted the photo before reposting it with a yellow heart emoji covering his daughter’s behind.

Bloom and Perry have deliberately kept their daughter’s identity out of the spotlight, choosing not to share photos of her face publicly.

The news followed a period of attention around Bloom joking about being linked romantically to a world leader while Perry has been seen in public with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Barron Trump has a new girlfriend, source claims

0

With Donald Trump taking the Oval Office, his son, Barron Trump, would again be moving to Washington D.C.

The youngest of the mogul’s offspring continued his studies at Stern Business School at New York University, and that’s more or less what the public knows about him. Barron, just like his mother, has kept his private life out of the public eye despite the media’s attempts to learn more about him.

During his stay at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Barron was barely seen, except for the handful occasions when he was pictured entering or exiting a helicopter on the White House lawn. When the family left the presidential palace and moved to their Mar-A-Lago residence in Florida, Barron was shielded from the public even more.

But now, details of his days at Oxbridge Academy emerged. Allegedly, the Secret Service followed him at all times. They even stayed in front of the classroom while he attended lessons and escorted him to the bathroom.

Barron was said to have been registered at the school under the name Jack.

This was due to the risks of hackers accessing records of his data and grades.

A former student spoke to the Daily Mail about Barron, saying that the young Trump had his meals separately from the other students and wasn’t involved in any sports. They added that it was a pity he didn’t get to enjoy student life to the fullest, unlike the rest of his classmates.

“Barron was very funny and sociable. He would start the most random conversations and could be very entertaining,” the friend told the Mail.

“He was also very mysterious, he never attended football games or dances. I don’t think he met up with anyone outside of school or went on dates. If he had a girlfriend, it was top secret we never knew about it.”

The friend concluded: “I’m sure he had fun in his own way but it was a bit of a shame that he didn’t get to have a normal high school life like everyone else.”

The friend spoke of Barron’s first shots at finding love.

Rumors are that the president’s son has been dating a model.

His father, Donald Trump, however, appeared on the PBD Podcast, where he stated that Barron has never had a girlfriend to his knowledge. He added that his son is a social guy who “doesn’t mind being alone, but he gets along with people,”

“I’m not sure he’s there yet,” Trump said. “I don’t think he’s had a girlfriend yet.”

However, when Barron was still attending school in New York, he was allegedly dating a girl named Maddie, who took to TikTok to share why the two broke up.

The TikToker posted a photo of herself at the Oval Office, taken during a tour all of Barron classmates took when Trump became a president for the first time, and posed alongside the Trumps. She captioned the photo, “For those asking, I went to school with Barron Trump, and he was my first BF. When Trump was elected he brought the entire class to the White House. We gotta save my bae!”

According to a video she posted on her social media, this alleged girlfriend and Barron Trump broke up when he transferred to another school, calling him “the best” and “the nicest.”

At the time Donald and his family moved to the White House, Barron was excited to invite his friends to a sleepover, as per the NY Daily News.

“Barron has been asking some of his school friends to come visit him in the White House,” the report stated. “He has said to his parents, ‘I hope there are bedrooms for my friends to come visit.’”

“Kids at his school are already planning sleepovers,” a source told the NY Daily News, referring to the Upper West Side’s Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School.

Around 80 of Barron’s school friends attended the tour. They were accompanied by their teachers and members of the Secret Service. The friends also toured DC and stayed at a hotel overnight before returning to New York. Of course, they also met the president himself.

“They had a buffet lunch and a tour of the White House and met the president and the first lady, Melania Trump. President Trump gave them all a rousing speech about living up to your potential and being the best you could be for your country. Barron was really sweet. He was so excited to show his classmates around the White House,” the source continued.

Most recently, it has been reported by some media outlets that Barron was seen in the company of model Klara Jones, two years his senior. The two have been seen together at events during the last couple of months, Elle reported.

As of now, the news hasn’t been confirmed.

YouTuber Trisha Paytas welcomes baby boy with ‘worst name ever’

0

Trisha Paytas, a well-known YouTube personality, has received backlash after she revealed the name of her third child, a baby boy born on July 12, 2025.

She announced the arrival of her bundle of joy during an episode of the Just Trish podcast. The YouTube star already shared two children with husband Moses Hacmon before welcoming their newest addition to the family.

Paytas described the birth as ‘surprising and traumatic,’ requiring an emergency C-section.

“You’re okay, you’re doing great,” husband Moses Hacmon reassured her at start of the episode. “The baby is 100% okay, doing great – like, that’s first thing first.”

Around an hour into the episode, Paytas revealed her baby’s name, triggering criticism.

This, however, isn’t the first time she and her husband to be criticised about how they named their children. Their first daughter, whom they welcomed in 2022, is called Malibu Barbie, while their second one, born in 2024, was given the name Elvis.

While discussing why she chose the name Elvis for her daughter, Paytas previously explained on her podcast, “I love all names, I think they’re so cute, but I’ve always manifested Malibu and Elvis. It’s always been [one of the] names I’ve said, so that’s it.”

@trishapaytas/Instagram

She noted that while Elvis is traditionally considered a masculine name, she would happily use it for a girl. The announcement sparked a wave of reactions across social media.

“This poor child’s gonna get picked on so bad for that name. I never understood why some people purposely do that to a child,” one person commented.

“What an awful name for a child. Whatever happened to just calling your child something normal?” another added.

“Please stop naming your children this stuff,” a third chimed in.

@trishapaytas/Instagram

In the weeks leading up to the announcement of their third baby’s name, fans had been buzzing with speculation.

Some of the most popular guesses included ocean-inspired names like Trident and Sharkboy, as well as Moses Jr. and Percy Jackson.

Given Paytas’ history, followers anticipated something far from traditional. Staying true to that reputation, the influencer kept listeners waiting, delaying the reveal until nearly an hour into the podcast.

Throughout the episode, she built suspense by playfully eliminating potential names, including Gerard Way—a nod to My Chemical Romance—and Gerard Wave.

Eventually, the couple decided on the name Aquaman, one that Paytas said made her think, “I wish that was my name.”

“I feel like we’re being pranked,” one fan wrote. “This is downright cruel smh,” another said.

A third added: “It’s even worse than her others…”

“What a ridiculous name. This poor baby is going to get bullied,” a fourth wrote.

Yet another person commented: “Are you joking?? Literally you have to change it. There is no way.”

What do you think of the name Aquaman?

Couple Who Were Missing Have Just Been Found Inside A C

0

For nearly a week, the town held its breath. Flyers fluttered on telephone poles, prayer circles formed at churches, and search teams combed through dense woods, gravel roads, and riverbanks — all clinging to the hope that the missing couple would be found alive.

But hope gave way to heartbreak when a somber discovery silenced the small town. Tucked deep within a forested patch miles from the nearest road, the couple’s vehicle was finally located — hidden from view and swallowed by the wilderness. Inside were the lifeless bodies of the two missing souls, their final moments now sealed in mystery.

A Love Remembered, A Community United

Authorities have confirmed that while no foul play is currently suspected, a full autopsy and toxicology report are underway to determine what caused the deaths. Investigators believe the couple may have gotten lost or suffered a medical emergency while on a drive through the rural outskirts.

The pair, remembered as adventurous and full of life, had only recently celebrated their engagement. “They were the kind of couple you just knew would grow old together,” one friend shared through tears. “They lit up every room they entered — and now that light is gone.”

As news spread, grief poured through the town like a wave. A candlelight vigil is already being organized, drawing friends, family, and strangers alike who feel the weight of the loss.

A Search That Touched Every Heart

Police say GPS data and phone records may help reconstruct the couple’s final hours, but many questions remain. Their car had been hidden by thick brush — just out of view from earlier air and ground sweeps.

“This case reminds us of how quickly situations can turn tragic, especially in rural areas where cell service is poor and terrain can be unforgiving,” said one search and rescue coordinator. “But it also reminds us of the strength of a community that refused to give up.”

Conclusion

The discovery brought the search to an end — but not the pain. In the quiet aftermath, a town mourns not just the loss of two beloved lives, but the cruel abruptness with which they were taken.

Their story, now a haunting memory etched into the hearts of many, stands as a reminder of life’s unpredictability — and the fierce, unwavering love of a community that searched, hoped, and grieved as one.

Though their journey ended in the stillness of a forest, their legacy lives on in every candle lit, every tear shed, and every life touched by their memory.

A Genius of Humor Silenced: Remembering the Unforgettable Richard Lewis

0

“The Last Laugh: Richard Lewis, Comedy’s Neurotic Poet, Leaves the Stage”

The world didn’t just lose a comedian this week — it lost a mirror. One cracked, smudged, and painfully honest — much like the man who held it up to our collective face for half a century.

Richard Lewis, the anguished genius of stand-up and reluctant philosopher of television, has died under circumstances still partly cloaked in silence.

And maybe that’s fitting.

Lewis was never a man of clean edges or simple stories. His life was a jazz riff of anxiety, self-sabotage, and devastating insight — all spun into one of the most singular comic voices of the modern age. Now, as tributes ripple across the internet and late-night monologues turn solemn, one question lingers in the subtext of the mourning: What really happened in the final days of the man who turned neurosis into a sacred art?

A Voice That Quivered, But Never Faltered

To call Richard Lewis a comedian feels incomplete. He wasn’t just funny. He was naked. On stage, he unraveled, unrushed and unapologetic — pacing like a trapped poet, unraveling anxiety into something hilariously universal. He didn’t tell jokes so much as bleed into a microphone, dressed in black, sweating through metaphysical spirals about his parents, his failures, his addictions, and his fear of everything — especially himself.

From grimy New York clubs to the screen on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Lewis brought the same unvarnished truth: that self-doubt could be a punchline, and pain — when held up to the light — could make people laugh hard enough to forget their own.

“He made misery beautiful,” said one fan on social media. “Like Woody Allen with less ego and more heart.”

A Presence That Haunted and Healed

On TV, he was unforgettable — often playing himself, or some fractured version of it, always bristling with existential dread. In interviews, he spoke of his struggles with addiction, depression, and the long road to stability. He was candid, he was tired, he was still fighting.

In recent years, Lewis had withdrawn somewhat from the public eye, citing health issues but rarely offering much detail. His last appearances were tinged with fragility — his voice a little softer, his posture more tentative, but the wit as piercing as ever. It’s unclear what shadows surrounded his final days, but what’s certain is that he knew he was loved.

And perhaps — finally — he believed it.

Conclusion: The Exit Wound of Genius

Richard Lewis didn’t die with punchlines still in his pocket. He spent his life emptying them onto every stage he walked. What remains is the silence that follows — and the echo of a voice that helped generations feel less alone in their chaos.

In a world obsessed with perfection, Richard Lewis insisted on being flawed. In an age of irony, he dealt in confession. And while others performed comedy, he endured it — letting us laugh at his brokenness so we could face our own.

Now the mic is quiet. The stage is empty. But the echo? Still laughing. And somewhere, in the absurdity of this life, that feels like the most Richard Lewis ending of all.

My husband left me and our newborn in a snowstorm — six weeks later, I showed up at his wedding with the one thing he never saw coming

0

I will never forget that dreadful winter in Vermont. I had just given birth to my son, Ethan, and struggled as a first-time mother, still learning how things are done.

My husband, Michael, paced the living room, as though something was bothering him. He then answered a call on the phone, turned to me, and said, “I’ll be back in a minute.”

Well, guess what. He never came back, leaving me weak and feverish with a 10-day-old baby. By morning, the heat was out, the car was gone, and there was no signal. I spent hours holding Ethan, piling on blankets, warming water any way I could, struggling to keep us alive and warm.

If it wasn’t for my neighbor who noticed my absence and called for help, God knows what would have happened to me and Ethan.

While at the hospital, recovering, I learned Michael drained our joint account the previous day and even filed for divorce. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.

The next few weeks were just a blur of anger, fear, and exhaustion. I was staying with my sister, trying to understand how someone could disappear so completely without warning.

The worst of all was when a mutual friends called me in disbelief and asked me if I knew Michael was getting married the following week. It had only been six weeks since he left us and now he was marrying someone else.

I didn’t cry. Something inside me turned cold and clear and I knew my revenge was on its way.

On the day of the wedding, the grip of winter lightened at last. I got dressed, buckled Ethan into his carrier, and walked to the church. I took evidence with me.

When I pushed open the door and the room went quiet, Michael turned ashen. That was when it all really started. The music stopped mid-note. Olivia, wearing a white dress, looked at me in confusion. Michael appeared to be seeing a ghost. I made my way slowly up the aisle. No one said a word.

“Laura… what are you doing here?” he asked, shocked.

I didn’t have to yell. I took a blue folder out of my bag and raised it. “I’m just returning something you left behind,” I said, keeping my voice calm.

The priest stepped back as whispers rolled through the crowd. I came to a stop in front of Michael and opened the folder. There were notarized papers: deeds to property in my name, accounts he had hidden, and a sales agreement with my forged signature.

I’d come across it while checking county records. My grandfather’s million-dollar home had been stolen through a forged deed. Michael knew I was the rightful heir. He just assumed I’d never fight back. “I talked to your lawyer,” I went on. “Mine too. And the cops.”

Two officers at the back of the church stepped forward and Olivia dropped her bouquet. “Who are these people?” she cried. “Michael, tell me it’s not true.”

He tried to quiet me, to pull me outside. “Laura, let’s go. Let’s talk outside.”

“No,” I replied. “You made your decision the day you left me and our tiny baby in a storm.”

The officers asked for his ID while his guests started filming the scene. The ceremony had turned into a courtroom and Michael stumbled over his words, sweating, denying everything. But he couldn’t fight the evidence I had in that folder.

As they took him away, he looked at me with fear and hatred. “I didn’t think you were capable of this.”

“Nor did I,” I said. “But I did it for him.”

At that moment, I looked at my son who was sleeping unbothered by the chaos unveiling around him and that’s when I knew this wasn’t revenge but justice.
