San Martin’s most notable roles were in American daytime television. After a one-off appearance on Days of Our Lives in 2010, he was cast as Dario Hernandez, a character he portrayed in over 50 episodes during a six-month run in 2011. Following that, he appeared in the 2013 TV movie Behind the Candelabra. He later returned to daytime television in 2017, appearing on The Bold and the Beautiful as Mateo — a groundskeeper caught up in one of Sheila’s schemes.
