Having to balance work, the housework, and taking care of my children, I sometimes feel too overwhelmed and too tired to be able to cook for the family, so it’s not unusual that I sometimes skip preparing dinner and rely on takeout.
Over time, we and our delivery guy, Ravi, became sort of friends.
However, during his last visit, he didn’t seem like he’s usual self. Instead of the friendly greeting I was used to, he didn’t really say anything except for one shy “Hi.”
I found that strange, but I just though he had a bad day or something, so I didn’t say anything.
What was even more strange was the way he hurried when I took the order. It was obvious Ravi was pretty nervous, and I had no idea why. Did it have something to do with my family? Who knew.
But just as I tried getting the food out of the bags, I noticed a note written on one of them. It read, “Check your trash!”
At that very moment, I got scared. Was there something that Ravi knew and I didn’t?
I was hesitant to even open the trash can, but then I finally gathered the courage and what I found inside shook my world — gloves, tools, and a bottle of corrosive liquid.
I alerted the police, who told me not to touch anything until they arrived.
Well, it turned out that the liquid was used to weaken the locks of my house. Someone was planning to rob us.
The following day, we set up cameras. I was still very scared, but thankful to Ravi who warned us about the possible danger.
A couple of days later, I met him while walking around the neighborhood. “Ravi, can I talk to you for a second?” I said.
He approached, but it felt like he was afraid of me. “How did you know we were in danger?” I asked. He then told me he had seen some suspicious people lurking around the house and the trash can.
“You may have saved my family,” I told him.
Cameras or not, I knew we weren’t out of danger. Watching the monitor night after night, a knot of fear sat beside my gratitude — at least we were warned.

That day, Kristi, who worked as a stewardess, witnessed a young couple at the plane who seemed to be very much in love. Just as she was passing by them, she witnessed the man, dressed in an expensive suit and looking gorgeous, gifting the woman a diamond necklace.
The woman was over the moon, giving him kisses and telling him how special he was.
Before the flight was over, the man gave Kristi a generous tip, and the woman, who introduced herself as Isabella, thanked Kristi for her impeccable service.

That evening, although tired and in need of some rest, Kristi stopped by her mother’s place. She was looking forward to spending some time with her mom, who said she had some special news to share with Kristi.
“Mom, I’m home,” Kristi said as she placed her suitcase in the hallway.
“Welcome, honey,” her mom said. “There’s someone I’d like you to meet,” she said.
However, the moment Kristi entered the living room, she experienced the greatest shock. The man standing next to his mother was the same young man from the flight.
“Kristi, this is Edwin. We’ll be getting married in a matter of weeks,” her mom said.
Edwin, who was extremely charming, shook Kristi’s hand, pretending he had never seen her before.
“What is going on?” Kristi thought to herself.
She didn’t want to expose Edwin right there and then because she realized her mom was infatuated by him.
After dinner, while they were at the kitchen, checking on the pie, Kristi asked her mom how good she knew her future husband.
“He’s the son of a tycoon who’s working with diamonds. Oh, honey, he’s the most romantic person I’ve ever met. He’s showering me with so much attention,” her mom bragged.
The following day, Kristi met with her mom again and decided to tell her the truth about Edwin. “Listen, mom. Edwin isn’t who he’s pretending to be. He was on my last flight with another woman. I saw him gifting her an expensive necklace.”

But her mom’s reaction wasn’t what Kristi expected. “How dare you, Kristi?” she yelled. “You are just jealous because you don’t want me to be with another man after your dad’s passing. Why can’t you be happy for me?”
Kristi was heartbroken. Her mom didn’t trust her, and she knew she needed to find a way to expose Edwin.
In the days to come, Kristi managed to track Isabella down. A friend of hers who worked at the airline offices let her see the passengers’ list.
When Kristi contacted Isabella, she agreed to meet her.

“You are the stewardess, aren’t you?” Isabella asked. “Is there anything I can do for you?”
“In fact, there is,” Kristi answered. “The man you were with on the plane. How do you know him?”
Isabella became suspicious. “Why would you like to know that?” she asked.
It was then that Kristi told her that he was in fact her mom’s fiance.
“I could sense he’s a fraud,” Isabella said. “He asked me to borrow him some money – huge money, but I didn’t think he would trick me, you know, because he gifted me a diamond necklace.”
Kristi begged her to help her expose him, and Isabella agreed.

A couple of days after their meeting, Isabella met Edwin at an expensive restaurant. She thanked him about the necklace he had gifted her on the plane once again and said she would give him the money.
As the two talked over a fine dinner and expensive wine, Isabella spilled the drink on Edwin’s shirt.
“Look what you’ve done,” he said and rushed to the toilet to clean himself.
At that moment, Kristi, who was seated at another table, took Edwin’s phone and went to the lady’s room in order to find evidence of him scamming other women.
But sadly, Edwin realized what was going on and rushed after Kristi, threatening to report her to the police.

Sadly, that’s exactly what happened. Police intervened and Kristi found herself at the police station.
There was also her mom who was fuming at Kristi, accusing her of wanting to ruin her life and her happiness.
Eventually, Edwin decided not to press charges against Kristi and she was free to leave.
But, Kristi didn’t go home, instead, she went to Isabella’s place and told her that she didn’t manage to find any evidence of Edwin’s fraudulent schemes, but she did manage to get the password of his social media.
Isabella started laughing, telling Kristi to get ready to expose the man from the plane.

They messaged every woman Edwin had previously chatted with and warned them of his deceptive practices. Additionally, they provided them with details of his wedding to Kristi’s mom, telling them they could confront him right there and then.
On the day of the wedding, which gladly didn’t take place, all those women whom Edwin deceived appeared at the ceremony. They started calling him names, to the shock of the guests gathered at the church.
There were over 30 women who accused him of stealing from them.
Edwin didn’t have a choice but to run away, leaving Kristi’s mom at the altar.

Luckily, he didn’t get far as two police officers were waiting for him at the door.
Kristi was glad he was finally exposed.
As of her mom, she was too proud to accept the fact that she made a mistake trusting Edwin. But Kristi still have hopes their relationship would be rebuilt in the future.

Always charming Christina Applegate shared her recent health struggle, explaining she was admitted to the hospital with severe kidney infection that started with one of her kidneys but then spread to the other one too.
Applegate, who also has multiple sclerosis, said in an episode of her “MeSsy” podcast, “I’m holding in (a) bag o’ tears right now. Just (a) bag o’ tears. I sometimes fall into the nurse’s arms like a freako, just crying.”
She recorded it while still at the hospital but has since been released.
“I was in the hospital for seven days,” she said. “I’m home now, getting treated for the kidney infection, but my stomach issues are still a mystery we’re trying to solve.”

She first felt that something was off during a trip to Europe while visiting family. Once she returned, she went straight to the hospital, not wanting to take any chances.
“I was really afraid to go back home and get to the point where I was so bad that like at three in the morning, my poor friend has to drive me, and it’s a Saturday night and it’s going to be horrible,” she said.
“So I was like, ‘I’m going to go and I’m not leaving there until I have some f***ing answers!’ Like, I’m done. Think outside the box. The case of disgraced billionaire Jeffrey Epstein who killed himself in his cell in 2019 while awaiting trial in federal prison is still very much far from settled and surrounded by controversy. However, it seems that it is very unlikely that the public will get the answers they are eager to get any time soon… or ever.
Recently, the FBI has addressed the conspiracy theories, with Deputy Director Dan Bongino revealing to Fox News that the Intelligence Agency possesses surveillance footage of the night Epstein died.
The footage in question shows no one walking across, towards, or away from Epstein’s cell—except for a guard leaving after escorting him inside—until the morning when he was found unresponsive, the US Justice Department (DoJ) noted. However, the 11-hour-long video is missing a minute, and while Attorney General Pam Bondi attempted to explain the gap, her statement made more harm than good when it comes to shutting down the conspiracy theories regarding the way Epstein died while in federal custody, according to many.

Bondi insisted the one-minute gap in the video was part of a routine daily reset that takes place at the Metropolitan Detention Center. “The video was not conclusive, but the evidence prior to it was showing he [was not murdered],” she said. Further, she stressed the missing minute is not unique to the Epstein video. “There was a minute that was off the counter, and what we learned from the Bureau of Prisons is every night they redo that video. … Every night should have the same minute missing.”
The FBI also claimed there was no “client list” that allegedly consisted of names who were related to Epstein that he used to blackmail them.
“This systematic review revealed no incriminating ‘client list’. There was also no evidence found that Epstein blackmailed prominent individuals as part of his actions.
“We did not uncover evidence that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties,” the agency stated.
"There is nothing in the file at this point on the Epstein case — and there is going to be a disclosure on this coming shortly — there is VIDEO. That is something the public does not know."
This, however, contradicts to a statement by attorney Alan Dershowitz in which he alleged he is knows the names on Jeffrey Epstein’s supposed client list tied to claims of an international sex trafficking ring.
He made the statement in March, but since the case is receiving more and more attention by the public, it resurfaced recently.
“I know the names of the individuals. I know why they’re being suppressed, I know who’s suppressing them,” he said on The Sean Spicer Show on March 19, as reported by the Independent. “But I’m bound by confidentiality from a judge and cases, and I can’t disclose what I know,” Dershowitz, who’s former Trump’s lawyer, added.

Dershowitz added that he has pushed for “total transparency” in the release of Epstein-related documents.
“Every single document, no redaction. That’s what I’ve said from day one,” he said.
Asked about the content of the “client list” and whether names of business leaders or politicians pop up, he answered, “They’re everything and let me tell you, a lot of them—at least one of them—is somebody who was accused, others are accusers, and the judges have said if somebody calls themselves a victim we’re not going to give any information about them, but they may not be victims, they may be perpetrators…We want total transparency on this.”
Dershowitz played a key role in arranging Epstein’s immunity deal in 2008. He was also part of the legal team that defended Trump in his first impeachment trial, despite previously calling him “more corrupt than Hillary Clinton.”

The sudden realization that you’re having triplets would shock most parents, so the moment that doctors told the 23 years old Becki-Jo Allen that she actually has three babies in her tummy, she was completely stunned!
One Becky-Jo had gone through the birth she then got another surprise, one that nobody had any clue about and that was a complete surprise too! As it happened the three babies, baby boys to be precise were really rare…
They were identical triplets!! That’s about one in two hundred million!!!
Becki-Jo Allen and Becki-Jo Allen had some lovely news to share with their daughter Indiana, she was going to be a big sister three times over!
The couple lives just outside Liverpool in England and they had been thinking about having more children, but they weren’t quite sure how many, it looks like some higher force has at least in part helped them make a decision.
The ultrasound really make it clear as day!
Early on in Becki-Jo’s pregnancy she was very sick indeed and had very bad headaches too, that’s when the doctors scheduled her ultrasound just that little bit earlier than usual and it’s because of that they got their shocker triplets news!
Becki-Jo said to the news:
“It was the biggest shock of my life! We haven’t got any triplets in the family so it came completely out of the blue”
The three boys were delivered by Cesarean section in her 31st week of pregnancy, they weighed about 3pounds 5 ounces, their names are Rohan, Roman and Rocco and beautiful they are! There first six weeks was in intensive care until they were a little stronger on their own!
Having triplets usually involves many complications, it’s quite unusual for all three to survive even.
We too, like the parents are very grateful that they did so well, they all gained weight really well too, after just six weeks they were ready and able to go home with mom and dad.
Doctors said that the boys weren’t identical triplets. But everyone who visited the family noticed how incredibly similar the boys were. And so, Becki-Jo decided to look into it further.
They did a private DNA test and samples were sent to a Lab, her question was answered in the result, the three were completely identical genetically!
As in vitro fertilization is becoming more common so are triplets, but normally, and naturally occurring they are extremely rare.
The chances of an egg splitting into two and then for one of these that have split to then spit again and all during the first ten days of pregnancy.
In America, in 2015 there were only four sets of identical triplets born!!
Roman, Rocco, and Rohan really look so amazing, and unsurprisingly similar, however, Becki-Jo has no trouble at all distinguishing between her three sons.
Becki-Jo said:
“It’s only when they’re asleep that they look the same to me. But they all have completely different personalities. And they’ve all got dark birthmarks between their eyebrows, but Roman’s is slightly darker than the others, and Rohan has got a birthmark on his leg as well”
The tree babies go through about 130 diapers every single week, add onto that about 5 packs of wipes, these little ones really keep their parents super busy.
6-year-old Indiana really is happy with her lovely special brothers. What a proud big sister she is!
Becki-Jo said:
“Indiana loves them. She’s not one bit jealous. I do feel a bit sorry for her when I think what it’s going to be like growing up with three little brothers though”
These guys will most certainly get huge amounts of attention for a quite a while. And I think they really do deserve it, how adorable!
Apparently, there is a new binge-worthy sensation on Netflix that viewers find “outrageous” yet “so juicy it hurts.”
The eight-part series The Hunting Wives depicts Sophie, played by Brittany Snow, who moves from Boston to the fictional town of Maple Brook in East Texas with her family looking for a fresh start. There, she’s pulled into the world of a mysterious socialite and her group of wealthy friends.
Full of unexpected twists, the enchanting thriller offers a world of deadly secrets—and after a body is discovered, the newcomer is warned she has ‘no idea what these people are capable of.’

The rest of the cast members include Malin Åkerman, Dermot Mulroney, Chrissy Metz and Katie Lowes.
It didn’t take long before the series reached the streaming platform’s Top 10 charts and received a nearly perfect score of 80% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.
It turns out that fans have found The Hunting Wives so intriguing and provocative that the opinions on whether it should be on Netflix or not are divided.
“Talk about a plot twist! I love when I think I have a show figured out and it throws me for a loop,” one person commented. “Mind-blowing. Twists. Texas. 10/10,” another added.
Some, however, found the plot to be rather vulgar, with one person writing, “Vulgar viewing. I couldn’t make it past the first 20 minutes of the first episode.” Another added: “In those 20 minutes a woman uses paper towels as a maxi pad, and makes eye contact with a young man while he is m**turbating in front of his girlfriend. Gross.”

Although the series has stirred controversy, creator Rebecca Cutter isn’t backing down.
“It’s so fun, and juicy and s**y. Everyone is behaving so badly,” she told the New York Post. “I wanted to do an exploration of women behaving badly, unapologetic s**ual conquest running rampant, and just something fun.
“I think there’s a fantasy of freedom or power that maybe we don’t feel so much as middle-aged women.”
Cutter added: “I just think TV has evolved.
“It’s rare. I also think it’s real. I have single friends [who are] women of a certain age… young men always are interested in them… that is a very real thing. And so, I think that that’s cool to show.”
The series is so gripping, the fans are praying for a second season.

Jana Hocking, a sex and dating columnist for the Mail Online, shared a rather intriguing experience after visiting an orgasm retreat.
Unlike most retreats, which offer sessions to promote personal growth, healing, relaxation, or transformation, the one Hocking paid a visit offered something…well, different.
Speaking on the Just Between Us podcast, Jana explained that she attended the Back to Body Sex Retreat in Joshua Tree National Park as part of her columnist assignment, adding that the place is dedicated to women honing in on their own sexual satisfaction.
Jana said the stay cost $15,000 for the entire experience, which made the hosts of the podcast go ‘wow,’ but she added that they are also weekend offers for less than $1,000.
“I thought it would be full of extroverts who were outlandish and wanted to perform in front of each other, but it really wasn’t,” Jana said when she called the podcast.
“They were either getting divorced and realized they hadn’t had a proper orgasm and wanted to right wrongs, while other women were dealing with trauma and needed to learn how to enjoy sex again, which was quite heartbreaking.”
She revealed that the camp was designed to help women learn how to prioritize their own sexual needs. The retreat began with everyone explaining their reasons for attending, though that was the most low-key moment of the entire experience.
The retreat, hosted by the founder Pamela Madsen and her team, moved into tantric meditation.
“We had to hold our vulvas and rock back and forth, either naked or in our underwear, and speak to our vulva and tell it what we wanted, who we wanted to be and what our goals were,” Jana said.
“My goal was to take back ownership of my sexuality because I realized I was performing — I can do a Meg Ryan orgasm like the best of them — but am I having a real orgasm? Am I putting my needs first?”
One session involved Madsen receiving half an hour of foreplay from a male assistant, culminating in orgasm in front of the attendees.
“It just went on so long I got bored,” Jana said, and added that during another tutorial, a urologist offered a hands-on demonstration of female anatomy, using Madsen as the model.
“We all stood around as the urologist kind of pointed at her private parts,” she said. “This is your labia, this is your clit.”

That evening, as I was getting ready to go to bed and have some good night sleep, I set my alarms just to be sure I won’t oversleep for my college entrance exam. It was my dream to become a doctor ever since my mom died of cancer. Becoming an oncologist would mean I could save people who battled the same disease, and I felt like it would be the biggest tribute I could pay to my late mom.
In the morning, I woke up without the sound of the alarms disturbing my sleep. But when I grabbed my phone, I realized my alarms were turned off. The entrance exam was starting in a matter of minutes and I was about to miss the only chance of ever enrolling medical school.
I put on my clothes and rushed downstairs. My stepmom, Linda, was having her morning coffee. I told her what had happened and begged her to take me to the exam center. Looking at me with a smile on her face, she said, “You should have set your alarm. But maybe this is a sign that you’re not cut out for med school.”
I couldn’t believe her words. It was as though she was glad I wouldn’t make it.

With no options left, I decided to walk, knowing there was no chance of ever getting on time.
But at that moment, I heard my little brother Jason saying, “Em, I got you covered. Help is on the way.”
I had no idea what he was talking about, but I could hear the sound of police sirens getting louder and louder.
“Em, it was Linda who turned your alarms off. I saw her entering your room during the night.”
Linda then turned to me and said she did it and she didn’t regret it because my dad paying for my medical school was nonsense.
She planned of opening a beauty salon and she believed my dad should have invested the money in her business venture.
At that moment, police knocked on the door and Jason explained the situation, begging them to help me get to my entrance exam on time. One of the officers, a kind woman full of understanding, asked Linda if what Jason said was true. Of course, she denied it.
The two officers looked at each other, and the woman said, “Well, we are here now and it’s our job to help people. Get in the car.”
When we got to the exam center, the exam was about to start. Luckily, something happened and it was delayed for a couple of minutes, but the doors were closed already.
One of the proctors noticed us and approached, looking confused. “Madam, the entrance exam is starting soon and you are late.”
I was still shaking and was unable to explain the reasons behind my lateness. Luckily, the officers stepped in and explained that I was sabotaged by a family member. The proctor’s stern face eased as he listened. He hesitated a bit, but he then nodded his head and let me take my seat.
A few hours later, I exited the entrance room relieved. I was proud of myself and my little brother who was my forever hero.
Once home, my dad gave me a hug and apologized for his wife’s actions. Jason had already explained everything to him, but he wanted to hear the story from me too.
As I spoke, he’s face grew red with anger. He turned to Linda and told her to pack her things. She didn’t belong there any longer, and although my dad was aware of that long before, this was the last straw.
She didn’t even try to apologize. It was obvious she wasn’t sorry and I didn’t feel any compassion for her.
