Rosa was a clerk at a supermarket. That day resembled like any other, but the usual chaos and the noise made by the customers were disturbed by loud crying of a baby. Since it didn’t stop for quite some time, Rosa went around the aisles in order to see if a mother needed help with her child. To her surprise, the baby whose crying caught her attention was placed inside a cardboard box, unattended. Next to it, there was a note that read, “I will always love you, Sue.”

Years went by, and Sue grew into a beautiful and successful young lady thanks to Rosa, who adopted her and raised her as her own.

Sue was forever grateful to her adoptive mother, Rosa, who made sure she never lacked anything growing up—most of all, love and care.

After she graduated from college, Sue decided to become a social media influencer. Her account attracted a huge number of followers, and everyone enjoyed her inspiring posts. In one of them, she shared her life story, how she was left by her birth mother inside a box at a store and how Rosa found her and changed the course of her life.

She started appearing on other people’s podcasts and became sort of a celebrity. Life felt good, but no matter how satisfied she was with her accomplishments, Sue never stopped thinking of her mother. She couldn’t understand how she could leave her like that. Why didn’t she love her? Why couldn’t she care for her? Those were the questions that haunted her.

One day, while she was preparing herself breakfast, Sue heard a loud knocking on the door.

When she answered it, her heart started pounding. The woman at the door looked familiar. She resembled the one on the photos left inside the box in which Sue was found.

“Hi, darling. It’s me, your mother, and I need your help,” the woman said with a quiet voice while Sue’s heart filled with an unexplained mixture of happiness and anger.

Before Sue could say anything, her mother asked, “Do you still have the note I left with you when I left you safely in the store?”

“Safely?” Sue thought to herself. How was abandoning a child at a supermarket safe, she wondered. But, instead of confronting her, Sue answered calmly, “Yes, I have it. I kept it because it is the only memory of you.”

The mother started apologizing, saying she never wanted to abandon Sue, but she had no choice because she got herself in trouble and was running from some dangerous people she owed money to. She was scared for Sue’s safety so she thought it would be for the best if she left it.

Sue asked her why she never tried to find her after that, but her mom said she was too scared.

With pleading eyes, the mom said, “I need a place to stay until I get back on my feet. I have nowhere else to go.”

Sue could feel her mother wasn’t telling the truth, but it was Rosa who told her she needed to give her mother a chance.

Eventually, Sue agreed, and her mother moved in with her.

At the beginning, things felt right. Sue’s mom offered to help around the house, and the two bonded, but sadly, that didn’t last long.

One day, Sue returned home from work earlier than usual. As she entered the house, she could hear drawers open and close. Quietly, she got upstairs and entered her bedroom. She was her mother putting some of her jewelry in her purse.

Sue was shocked. “Mom, what are you doing? Are you stealing from me?” she asked in disbelief from the sight of her own mother being caught red handed.

“Honey, I need money, and you have plenty of jewelry, I thought I could sell some of it.”

Sue grabbed the jewelry. Among the pieces was the diamond necklace Rosa gave her when she graduated from university.

“Do you know how hard Rosa worked in order to be able to save money for this diamond necklace?” Sue yelled.

“But you have so much, let me sell some of them so that we can have the money,” the mom continued. “We?” Sue asked. “This isn’t about us, this is about you. I forgave you for abandoning me, opened the doors to my home to you, and this is how you pay me back? By stealing from me?”

The mom started crying. “Please, don’t get mad at me. I am sorry. I am going to change.”

But Sue didn’t want to listen to her. She told her that she already gave her a chance and that was it. She asked her mother to pack her belongings and leave the house. It was obvious she only returned because she learned Sue was successful.

That evening, Sue went to Rosa’s place, the only place that ever felt like home.

When she told her what happened, Rosa said, “You took a chance on someone who loved you, that’s what you take away from this experience.”

Sue was happy for having Rosa in her life, but she still couldn’t help feeling hurt that her mother was, once again, absent from her world.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s ‘backup plan’ if Donald Trump kicks him out of the country, revealed

With the U.S. election campaign ongoing, one person who is likely awaiting the voting day and the results of the elections is Prince Harry. At the time being, he’s not an American citizen, although he said he considered applying for citizenship in the future.

In case Donald Trump takes the Oval Office again, the prince’s future in the States will be uncertain as Trump has already stated that he won’t protect the Duke and would ask for his visa to be revoked in case it’s determined that he lied when he applied for it.

“I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,” Trump told the Express, adding that according to him the Royal Family was “too gracious” to the Duke after “what he has done.”

In his book Spare, Harry discussed his past with using substances such as cocaine, marijuana, and magic mushrooms, stating that he tried it as a teenager when he felt insecure and still sad because of his mother’s passing.

“Of course…I had been doing cocaine around this time…I’d been offered a line, and I’d done a few more since. I was a deeply unhappy 17-year-old boy willing to try almost anything that would alter the status quo. That was what I told myself anyway,” Harry wrote in Spare.

“All the great seers and philosophers say our daily life is an illusion. I always felt the truth in that. But how reassuring it was, after nibbling a mushroom, or ingesting ayahuasca, to experience it for myself,” he continued.

According to royal experts, the Duke regrets opening up about his history with drugs in his all-tell memoir, but he was unaware at the time of writing it that the information he disclosed in it could put him in trouble.

Tom Quinn spoke to the Mirror about it, saying that Harry hopes to be spared over the revelations.

“Harry initially thought this couldn’t possibly happen to him as the normal rules don’t apply to a Royal Prince, but he is increasingly realizing that in the United States being a prince doesn’t actually count for very much. But one thing is for sure Harry deeply regrets ever making his drug-taking public. It never occurred to him that this might end up threatening his whole life plan,” Quinn said.

“He finds the day long and lonely,” he added. “Meghan does her best to support Harry, but she is in her natural environment, and he is in a strange unfamiliar world which grows increasingly unfriendly.”

Last year, The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank in the U.S., sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for accessing Prince Harry’s immigration records. When applying for certain U.S. visas, applicants must disclose any history of drug use, which can lead to their application being denied.

“We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied they’ll have to take appropriate action,” Trump told GB News in March.

Back in 2019, Donald Trump visited the UK, and as part of the trip, he met with the various senior members of the British Royal Family, including then-Prince Charles – the two apparently spoke on climate change – and, of course, the late Queen Elizabeth II.

At around the same time, there were some tensions that involved Meghan Markle.

Namely, during an appearance on The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, Markle spoke of Trump, who was running for a president at the time, as of “misogynistic” and “divisive.” What’s most, she shared she would give her vote to his opponent, Hillary Clinton.

Fast forward to Donald’s UK visit, Meghan had just given birth to Archie and was on maternity leave, so she didn’t appear during the state visit. Other reports suggested that she and Trump were intentionally kept apart to avoid an embarrassing clash, especially due to comments the then-president made before arriving in the UK.

Speaking with The Sun at the Oval Office, Trump said he had never heard Meghan’s words about him.

“I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty,” he told the magazine.

Of course, neither Meghan nor Harry were happy with Trump calling her nasty. Later on, Harry was actually scheduled to attend a lunch at which Trump was also supposed to be present. As the Duke was expected to remain politically neutral, he was supposed to “toe the line” around the US President.

According to Hugo Vickers, the Sussexes have a “backup plan” in case Trump wins the elections.

“Knowing the character of Trump, he’s quite likely to want to do something which sort of bangs the fist on the table and establishes his authority. And also something which would get a lot of publicity,” Vickers told The Sun.

“So I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he suddenly said ‘Right, I’m sending Prince Harry out of this country.’ And the reasons that he would use would be the drug issue, because Prince Harry has admitted to taking marijuana, cocaine, magic mushrooms – and may not have filled that in on his visa form.”

Trump’s possible decision may also have with his “feud” with Meghan Markle.

“And Trump has stated publicly he won’t forgive Harry. Trump probably thinks ‘I got on well with the Queen’, which he definitely did, and ‘I would like to respect her memory by booting him out.’”

Vickers concluded: “He doesn’t really abide by the rules. To get Harry out, he would stump the table and tell somebody to look into the way you do these things and just fix it. You know that’s the way he is.”

Single mom of four buys used car, owner tells her to look in trunk when she gets home

Being a single mom of four children, the world may not always be kind, but thankfully, there’s always someone to remind you that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

When Jennifer became pregnant with their fourth child, her husband left her, unwilling to have more children. Their financial situation was already difficult and he believed another child would make things even harder, but Jennifer refused to terminate the pregnancy so they split.

Left to raise her children all by herself, Jennifer faced many challenges. The biggest of all was her inability to land a job. She went from place to place, but everyone refused to hire her. One restaurant owner told her that he would never hire a mother of four because something always comes up with the kids.

After a few weeks of wandering around the town and sending resumes, Jennifer decided to try her luck in the nearby city. With the last $30 in her pocket, she took a taxi and hoped for the best.

Just as she got out of the car, she noticed a sign on one of the hotels that said they were hiring a housekeeper. The manager told Jennifer that they were short in staff and said she could start right away. They didn’t care she was a single mom as long as she appeared on time and did the job well.

Her heart pounded. She went back home, thanked her kind neighbor for keeping an eye on her children while she wasn’t home, and told her children that she had found a job, but it wasn’t close. Sadly, taking the bus would take her a lot of time to and from work, and she couldn’t afford a taxi every day. Her only solution was to get herself a car, but she didn’t have any money in order to buy one.

Still, she decided to visit a couple of places that sold used cars. She noticed a beautiful car that she liked, but it cost a lot of money.

After hesitating for a while, she asked the sales person, who happened to be running the place, if he could sell it to her for $5000. She explained her situation and the man said he could give her a discount. However, she didn’t have the money so she asked him if he could keep the car for a day until she went to the bank to ask for a loan. He agreed, and Jennifer left, praying this deal wouldn’t fail.

Sadly, due to her poor credit, she was refused a loan.

Desperate, this mother started crying, struggling to hide her whimpering from her barely asleep children. The only valuable thing she had was her mother’s golden heirloom Jennifer kept close to her heart. She thought of selling it, but it meant too much to her to let someone else have it. However, after battling with her own emotions, she decided to take it to a pawn shop the following day.

When the morning arrived, Jennifer took the heirloom, kept it tight in her hand, and entered the pawn shop. She was offered $5,500 for it. With a heavy heart, she let go of it and took the money.

She really needed that car in order to be able to get to her job and take her kids to school and daycare every morning. Without it, she wouldn’t have any money to provide them with food, and she could even lose the trailer where they lived at the time.

When she went to get the car, the owner could sense the pain in her eyes. Jennifer handed him the envelope with the money, and he gave her the car keys. She signed some documents and started the car, but just as she was about to leave, the owner said to her, “By the way, check the car’s trunk when you get home. I left something for your children inside.”

Jennifer thanked him and headed home to her children. She had forgotten about the owners words until she needed to place something inside the trunk. The moment she opened it, she was stunned. She was looking at an envelope, exactly the same as the one she gave to the man who sold her the car. It didn’t take long before she realized it was the same one, and all the money were intact.

“I hope you and your children liked the gift I left inside the trunk. May it be of great help to you,” the note inside the envelope read.

Jennifer felt like she needed to thank the man personally so she drove to the dealership and expressed her immense gratitude. This man restored her faith in humanity. There were still kind-hearted people out there, and Jennifer was lucky to buy a car from one of them.

Don’t overlook these small red spots on your arm – They could be important warning signs

The United Kingdom is experiencing unusually large scabies outbreaks and doctors urge people to seek medical treatment if they notice red dots on their body and not to ignore the symptoms.

Scabies is an itchy rash caused by mites that spreads through close skin contact. Early treatment is crucial in order to stop the spreading. Anyone can be affected by it.

Some of the common symptoms are intense itching, especially at night, and a raised rash or spots.

Scabies typically causes a rash across the body, not including the head and neck, and often appears between fingers, around wrists, underarms, waist, groin, and bottom.

The young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems can get scabies on the head, neck, palms, and soles. In immunocompromised individuals, a highly contagious form called crusted scabies may cause a flaky rash on elbows, knees, hands, and feet.

According to NHS, the number of cases of people affected by the infection who were diagnosed in hospitals around the country is over 3,600.

According to Prof Kamila Hawthorne, RCGP chairwoman, many people who experience the symptoms refuse to seek medical help because of the “social stigma” surrounding the infection. She said that the number of GP diagnoses was “above the five-year average and rising, with the north of England seeing a spike in cases.”

“While not a serious condition, scabies can be very itchy and irritating,” she said.

“If not properly treated, it can spread and increase a patient’s risk of complications, such as secondary skin infections or make existing skin conditions worse.”

One of the reasons for the scabies outbreak, despite the social stigma attached to it, is the shortage of treatment.

Neighbor asked my daughter to babysit for a week but then refused to pay – I was angry and decided to teach her a lesson

Lucy was overly excited when their next door neighbor, Mrs. Carpenter, asked her to babysit her kids. She knew the kids are naughty, but she found that job challenging and was happy to do it. On top of that, she was promised to be paid $11 an hour and she could finally take that art course she was saving for.

So, after five days of babysitting, having toys thrown at her, and losing a lot of nerves with the little ones, Lucy was anticipating to have the money she was promised for the job well done.

However, Mrs. Carpenter refused to pay her a dime. She said Lucy should have had the agreement about the job in writing and that she taught her a life lesson.

Disappointed, she headed home as tears rolled down her face. When she entered the house, she told her mom that the neighbor refused to pay her. Her mom’s heart broke into a million pieces. Her daughter was enthusiastic about the babysitting and now that enthusiasm was wiped out by the rude neighbor.

In order to calm her down, her mom gave her $200. Lucy didn’t want to accept the money, saying it wasn’t her mom that needed to pay her but Mrs. Carpenter. But her mom urged her to take the money because she deserved it and promised to handle the issue with the neighbor.

The following morning, Lucy’s mom knocked on Mrs. Carpenter’s door. She tried to hide her anger by forcing a smile on her face. “Hi, neighbor” she said. Mrs. Carpenter was stunned to see Lucy’s mom at her door. “What brings you here?” she asked. Lucy’s mom, still smiling, said, “Well, I wanted to thank you for teaching my daughter a lesson.”

“Thank me?” Mrs. Carpenter asked. “Yes, about contracts and trust,” the mom continued. “It’s so important for kids to learn about that.”

Mrs. Carpenter sighed in relief. “Well, I’m glad you understand, because some parents wouldn’t,” she said.

“Like those in the mom’s group on Facebook?” the mom asked. “What moms, what group?” Mrs. Carpenter was puzzled.

Lucy’s mom then told her that she shared what had happened on the group where all the mom’s from the neighborhood were. She explained that Lucy babysat the kids but wasn’t paid anything.

Mrs. Carpenter was shocked. “But what do they say?” she asked as her face went pale.

“Here, take a look. Melissa said it’s disgraceful, and Janet from the PTA? She’s thinking of bringing it up at the next meeting. Apparently, it doesn’t reflect well on our community,” the mom said. “Most of the moms seem to be upset with your act,” she added.

Mrs. Carpenter couldn’t believe the comments. She asked from Lucy’s mom to take the post down and promised to pay Lucy what she owed her.

Lucy’s mom said, “Perhaps next time, you’ll reconsider before giving someone else’s child a ‘life lesson,’ because some mothers don’t hold back.”

That afternoon, Lucy came home with a huge smile on her face and an envelope in her hand. “Look, mom. Mrs. Carpenter called me and gave me my money. She said it was all a misunderstanding and apologized for making me cry.”

Lucy’s mom was glad an injustice had been righted.

Little Johnny gets an F in math

I am sure that there are not many people who favored mathematics at school. Well, dealing with numbers, fractions, percentages, and the rest of the math operations, isn’t quite easy.

Little Johnny seems not to be an exception. His multiplication skills, or lack of them, brought him in trouble.

Little Johnny comes home from school and tells his father, ”I got an F in math today.”

His father replies, ”What happened?”

Little Johnny says, ”Well, my teacher asked me, ‘What’s 3 times 2’, and I said 6.’”

The father replies, ”Well, that’s correct.”

Little Johnny says, ”I know. Then she asked me, ‘What’s 2 times 3.’”

The father shouts, ”What the f*** is the difference?”

Little Johnny says, ”That’s what I said!”

A couple had been married for years, and the only friction in their marriage was the husband’s habit of farting loudly every morning when he awoke.

The noise would wake his wife and the smell would make her eyes water and make her gasp for air.

Some time later she heard her husband waken with his usual trumpeting which was followed by a blood curdling scream and the sound of frantic footsteps as he ran into the bathroom.

The wife could hardly control herself as she rolled on the floor laughing, tears in her eyes! After years of torture she reckoned she had got him back pretty good.

About twenty minutes later, her husband came downstairs in his bloodstained underpants with a look of horror on his face.

She bit her lip as she asked him what was the matter. He said, “Honey, you were right. All these years you have warned me and I didn’t listen to you.

“What do you mean?” asked his wife.

“Well, you always told me that one day I would end up farting my guts out, and today it finally happened. But by the grace of God, some Vaseline, and these two fingers, I think I got them all back in.

My husband gave me a rag for our 10th wedding anniversary while his sister laughed – Moments later, karma hit

As she was putting her make-up on, Mary’s heart filled with joy. She was looking forward to the party her husband of ten years was throwing for their wedding anniversary.

His parties were always lavish. He paid attention to details and always made sure everything he did was flawless, so there was no reason for this party not to be as extraordinary as every other one John had ever organized.

Among those who were invited were their family, friends, and their business partners, and of course, John’s sister Lauren, the only person Mary never got along with.

Lauren was needy, greedy, and demanding. She loved to interfere with everyone’s business and often gave suggestions and made remarks that drove Mary crazy, but she never said anything just because she was John’s sister.

That evening, Mary put on her new dress, her red heals, and got downstairs to greet her guests. As she expected, Lauren was also wearing red. Mary knew she chose that color on purpose, but she decided she wouldn’t let anything affect her good mood.

As the night proceeded and everyone had a lot of fun, John asked the guests for their attention. He raised a toast and handed his wife a box wrapped in a huge red bow. Mary was eager to open it, but to her surprise, there was a rag inside. She was left in shock and barely said, “What’s this Jon, is this a joke?”

As everyone was looking at Mary and her reaction, Lauren started laughing uncontrollably, commenting out loud that her brother finally came to his senses and brought the right gift for his stay-at-home wife. She also mentioned that she received an expensive bracelet from John for her birthday, the one she was proudly wearing at that moment.

John smiled as well and told Mary that it was just a little prank his sister convinced him to pull on her, believing the guests would find it fun. He said the real gift will arrive later that night.

Mary was furious. She felt humiliated and wanted the night to be over as soon as possible, especially because of Lauren’s words and John’s inability to confront his sister for her lousy behavior.

In order not to make a scene, she placed the rag on the floor and acted as though nothing had happened.

Lauren on the other hand, kept asking everyone if they liked what her brother bought Mary and wouldn’t let go on the subject.

Moments later, Lauren, who was still laughing, slipped on the rug and fell on the ground, breaking her bracelet and ripping her dress.

Some of the guests started laughing, and Lauren decided to leave the party. As she was getting to leave, the door bell rang. Mary’s real present arrived. It was a diamond bracelet.

They didn’t expect this – Single photo goes viral as family is denied booth at restaurant

A family was denied the booth at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant although it wasn’t taken at the moment they entered the place. When they walked passed the booth and asked to be seated there, the server said it had already been reserved for someone special.

They weren’t happy with the response as they wanted more comfortable seats rather than the set of hard chairs the server gave them so they tried to convince her to give them booth, but the response was the same.

Since they couldn’t have the booth, they asked to be seated next to it because they wanted to see who the VIP guests would be.

It didn’t take long before the family realized that the booth was reserved for five police officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Wanting to honor the, the restaurant placed five plates on the table with a sign that read, “We remember and honor the five slain police officers, Sergeant Michael J. Smith, Officer Michael Krol, Officer Patrick Zamarripa, Senior Corporal Lorne Ahrens, and Mr. Brent Thompson, who worked for the Dallas Area Rapid Transit PoIice Department, that the Texas Roadhouse restaurant reserved a table for. We thank you for your service. May you rest in peace.” Along the note, there was an American flag.

The family and the rest of the customers were deeply touched by the Texas Roadhouse’s gesture.

Having been killed while protecting the residents of Dallas, the restaurant wanted everyone who walked inside their place that night to know that they stand with police officers.

People started taking photos of the table reserved for the hero officers who had gone above and beyond their duties and lost their lives. They even started tagging the restaurant and recommending others to visit it.

This isn’t the first time Texas Roadhouse to honor fallen officers in this manner.

When 13 American soldiers were killed in Afghanistan, a veteran from Port St. Lucie, Florida, reserved a table with 13 empty seats. Touched by the tribute, the restaurant decided to reserve the same time for the next 13 days.

What an honor!
