The relationship between Prince Harry and King Charles is still a stranded one. The two have met during a handful of occasions since Harry’s departure from his homeland, but it wasn’t enough for the two to finally make amends.
However, rumors are that the “path” of reconciliation between the father and son may come sooner than expected if one person, the King’s right-hand man, retires early as he’s said to have planned.
King Charles’ Private Secretary, Sir Clive Alderton, who is known as a ‘hatchet man’ for his immense ability to deliver bad news, seems to be standing on Harry’s way to mend things with the rest of the royals.

In his memoir, Spare, Harry referred to his father’s most trusted man as of “weedy” and “arrogant.”
“The Wasp [Sir Clive] was lanky, charming, arrogant, a ball of jazzy energy. He was great at pretending to be polite, even servile,” the Prince wrote.
“Because he seemed so weedy, so self-effacing, you might be tempted to push back, insist on your point, and that was when he’d put you on his list.
“A short time later, without warning, he’d give you such a stab with his outsized stinger that you’d cry out in confusion. Where the f*** did that come from?”

Princess Diana’s biographer Tina Brown is the one who believes Sir Alderton’s potential retirement could bring positive changes.
“If Alderton goes, it could create a new, friendlier path for negotiations with Harry to be given the security protection he seeks and to resume some curtailed version of his royal duties,” she wrote on her Fresh Hell Substackblog, Express reported.
“It could also represent a great face-saver for Meghan who must realise by now that the dull demands of second-division royalty are less onerous than grinding out serial rebranding flops.
“Enough with the feuds. Families, including this one, need to stick together. William, whatever his abiding resentments toward Harry for his intemperate broadsides in Spare, should now suck it up and let his father give Harry something to do.”
The Royal Family describes Sir Clive Alderton as ‘the channel of communication between the Head of State and the Government.’
He was the one who advised then-prince Charles to hurry and be by his mother’s bedside during the final hours of her life. As per the Mirror, he’s also the man behind the famous phrase ‘some recollections may vary’ following Meghan Markle’s accusations of racism within the Firm.

18-year-old Sabrina, the daughter of a coal miner, believed her dad’s job wasn’t “respectable.” Because of this, she avoided spending time with him, sharing any of her secrets with him, or even let him touch her belongings.
He didn’t own a fancy car, and somehow, his daughter despised him because of that despite the fact he raised her on his own from the day she was born.
One night, Sabrina was on the phone with one of her friends when she heard the front door open. It was her dad, Pete. She was quick to wrap up the conversation because she didn’t want him to know the day of her graduation ceremony was nearing. Seeing him with her, her classmates would make fun of her, she thought to herself.

Pete entered the home with a smile on his face, carrying two packages in his hands. He told Sabrina he had a present for her and left the packages on the table.
Ever since she lost her mom, Pete was there for his daughter. He understood her and always respected her privacy.
Sabrina was happy for the presents, but she always considered her dad not worthy of her attention only because his hands and face were blackened from the coal. She didn’t even let him touch her things.
Eager to check what was inside the packages, she opened one of them and saw a gorgeous dress inside. This put a huge smile on her face which soon faded away when she realized there was a suit for her dad in the other package.
Sabrina bit her lips in frustration. Gathering courage she told her father she didn’t want him there.

Pete was left in complete shock. He had no idea his daughter had such a low opinion of him.
“What did you say?” he asked with confusion.
“Dad, my friends’ fathers are from reputed backgrounds. They are all rich and look like celebrities. I don’t want you standing among them like a…like a mess…dad, I hope you understand. No matter how well you dress, anyone can easily guess you are a coal miner by just looking at your dirty face and hands. I don’t want them to laugh at me. Please don’t come to my graduation.”
Pete was devastated, but he wasn’t mad at his daughter. He knew she didn’t hate him, she just hated his job, and that was fine, because she was in such age when she couldn’t understand the weight of the words she said.

On Sabrina’s big day, Pete offered to drive her to the venue but she refused. She then made him promise he won’t come to her graduation. Pete nodded, but he had other plans. Once Sabrina left the house, he put his new suit on and followed her.
Once there, he took a seat at the parents’ section and applauded at the graduates as they took the stage.
When the presenter called Sabrina’s name, Pete took his phone out and started filming her. She was so proud of herself, walking straight and with a huge smile on her face. But the moment she noticed her dad, her mood changed. She didn’t even smile at him, nothing.
She only thought how she wanted the ceremony to end as soon as possible so she could confront him. But at that moment, the presenter called Pete’s name and asked him to join them on stage.

“Thanks, Mr. Lauren! Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!” Pete said when he took the mic. “Can we have the slideshow, please?!”
Everybody was stunned when the projector started showcasing a slideshow of images of Pete and Sabrina. There were photos of the time she was still very young, until she grew into the young woman she was.
“I love my daughter. Sabrina, I’m so proud of you. I hope your mother would be equally proud if she were here today. Emma, if you are here by any chance, you can see for yourself! You told me I could not raise my daughter alone, but there can be no other dad on earth who is as proud as me now. Congrats, Sabrina…we did it!”
Her father’s act touched Sabrina’s heart. She started crying tears of joy as she joined her dad on stage and gave him a hug. “Thank you so much, dad! I’m sorry,” she said.

The night was over and on their way home, Pete decided it was about time he shared a truth with his daughter. He waited her to turn 18 and be old enough to be able to handle the reality.
Gathering courage, he turned to Sabrina and told her her mother wasn’t dead. She was alive and lived in the same town.
Sabrina almost collapsed. She couldn’t understand why her dad would lie her about something like that for so long.
With tears in his eyes, Pete explained that her mother never wanted her. When she fell pregnant she wanted to leave Sabrina behind and put her up for adoption. When Pete told her not to do it, she confessed that Pete wasn’t even the baby’s real father but offered him to take her and raise her if he wanted to as long as he stick to the story that her mom was dead.
Pete couldn’t let Sabrina end up in foster care or be adopted by complete strangers, so he decided to accept her as his own before divorcing her mother.
“I could not see you as someone else’s child. You were my world, and you are my everything today,” Pete cried.
“You’re not my real father??” Sabrina asked again, wanting to be sure in Pete’s words.

Sabrina couldn’t stop apologizing for calling him “dirty.” She was thankful he didn’t give up on her knowing she wasn’t his biological child.
That was the first and only time Pete and Sabrina talked about her mother. They decided to leave the past where it belonged. But from that moment on, Sabrina was never again ashamed of her dad. On the contrary, she couldn’t be prouder Pete was the man who raised her. She was happy to call him dad.

Following my divorce with Peter, I was drained both physically and emotionally. But he and his mother weren’t about to leave me alone. Instead, I caught my ex-MIL stealing my shower one day, and that was the ultimate disrespect she had shown me.

Weeks passed by and my ex-MIL was at my door once again. But this time, she was humble. She looked like she aged 10 years in a matter of months. Guilt overtook her as she gathered the courage to apologize for every ordeal she forced me to go through. She learned Peter wasn’t the man she believed he was. It turned out that he manipulated her the way he manipulated me. She was caught into his web of lies, and she learned that he was a bad person the hard way.
I did feel sorry for her, and her apology seemed to be the closure I needed badly in order to be able to move on with my life, away from Peter and his mom.

Recently, the actress opened up about another secret she’s been keeping away from the public eye during an interview with People Magazine.
This secret isn’t related to her professional life and her charitable work, but to the personal aspect of her life.
“I’ve kept this part of my life private for so long because I’ve always been a firm believer in keeping certain things sacred,” Hargitay explained during the interview. “But it’s time to share it with the world. My family and I have been navigating a medical journey that has shaped a lot of who I am today. It’s been an ongoing process, but I’m finally at a place where I’m ready to talk about it.”

She didn’t go into details, but revealed that the experience has been a roller-coaster. It made her reevaluate life and understand what it is that truly matters.
“It’s a rare condition that’s affected someone very close to me,” Mariska Hargitay revealed. “I’ve been balancing my personal life, my career, and my responsibilities to my family, and it’s been challenging. But it has also been a reminder of how resilient we all are when we come together.”
“Olivia has been such an important part of my life, but so has my own personal story,” Hargitay said. “I’ve learned so much through playing her, and I’ve learned so much through living my own life. I’m grateful for both.”
Looking into the future, Hargitay is embracing the next chapter of her life with a sense of calmness and positivity. She shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming seasons of SVU and her ongoing advocacy work. She is, however, prioritizing her family.

Finding happiness doesn’t come easy for some, so when they finally stumble upon the opportunity to experience it, they hold onto it as tight as they can, fearing it would slip away.
A woman took to Reddit to share her life story and how her husband’s children made her life a living hell.
She first met him two years following his wife’s passing, when his children, who were now all over 21 years old, were still young. The kids were his whole world. He was still grieving and although he wasn’t ready to get involve in a relationship, he enjoyed the woman’s company and they eventually started dating.
Sadly, his children never accepted her. They were convinced she was trying to take their mother’s place, and her being 53 and their father ten years her junior made things even harder.
However, they never showed how much they despised her in front of him. In his presence, they tried to be as polite as possible, so she never gathered the courage to tell him about their behavior towards her.
They sometimes called her names and told her to leave their father.
When he proposed, their hatred towards her only grew bigger.
When the two ties the knot during a modest civil ceremony, none of the three attended. They claimed they had other places to be, but since the ceremony was a small gathering, neither her nor their father got mad.
On the second day of the honeymoon, which the woman and her husband had been saving for for quite some time, his children appeared at the villa out of the blue.
The woman was shocked. They were the last people she expected to see in the Bahamas, but she didn’t say anything. She even offered cookies in an attempt to avoid the tension.
They claimed they were there because they missed their father, but the real reason was that they were there to ruin the honeymoon by making snide comments directed at the woman.
At one moment, when their father went inside the villa to grab some drinks, they started yelling at her. They told her she should be staying at the nearby cottage because she didn’t deserve to be spending the days at the luxurious villa. “You, a 53-year-old OLDIE, still want a fairytale? This villa is too nice for you. We’ll take it; you can have the bungalow,” they said. But at that moment, hey heard the sound of glass shattering.
It was their father. He was mad and told them to stop treating his wife like that. He was aware of what they were doing but didn’t confront them because he was convinced they would eventually come to terms with the fact he loved her.
Telling them to leave, he cut the financial support he provided them with all those years.
Time passed by, and her husband’s children came apologizing one by one.
They finally learned their father was truly happy.

Miss America has always been all about glamour, dazzling gowns, exquisite make-up, and beauty. However, one contestant, Kelly Johnson, made an exception that caught the attention of the wide public.
Kelley, who represented the state of Colorado, took the stage wearing nursing scrubs. To the delight of many, who didn’t expect such outfit on the gorgeous young woman, Kelly delivered a monologue about her experience as a nurse with an elderly Alzheimer’s patient.
People were totally stunned, their hearts were filled with joy by the fact that a Miss America contestant replaced a gown for nursing scrubs.
No matter if she wins the competition or not, one thing is certain, she has already won people’s hearts.
Kelly, who now works as a registered nurse, is a graduate of Grand View University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing in 2015. She graduated as valedictorian of her nursing class.

Whenever Emma’s mom, Lydia, was in need of a babysitter, she would ask her mother to step in. To her delight, the loving grandma always responded positively to those requests because she saw it as a way of bonding with her vibrant 6-year-old granddaughter.
The two always laughed together and had a lot of fun, but one thing that concerned Lydia was that her daughter’s hair was different after every visit by the grandma.
After a couple of babysitting “sessions,” Lydia decided to install cameras and see why her daughter’s hair was always cut shorter and shorter.
She never mentioned anything to her mother because it was obvious Emma loved being around her but still, she was a bit concern and wanted to learn what was going on behind closed doors.
Feeling a sense of guilt for monitoring her own mother without her knowledge, Lydia hesitated on whether to use the cameras, but curiosity got the best of her and she checked on her mom and daughter.
What she saw warmed her heart.
In the past, Lydia’s mom worked as a hairdresser, a story she would often tell Emma. The young girl became so immersed in the stories that she wished she were a hairdresser herself. Wanting to impress her grandma, she would grab the scissors and cut small portions of her long hair. The two of them would then laugh together.
Playing ‘salon’ seemed to be Emma’s favorite activity with her grandma, who let Emma ‘style’ her hair, indulging the little girl’s whims with no ill intentions.
Learning this removed all of Lydia’s concerns. She wasn’t mad at her mother, but she still had a conversation with her about the importance of boundaries and open conversation.
Realizing just how interested Emma was in styling her hair, Lydia enrolled her in weekend children’s workshops. This way, she could still nurture her passion, but under guidance of professionals who wouldn’t let her cut her own hair.
The grandma, of course, was still welcomed to look after Emma whenever she wanted.

Kristin Pitzen, California school teacher, posted video to social media of herself instructing students to say the pledge of allegiance to a Progress Pride flag.
In the video she has since deleted, she could be heard joking, “OK, so during third period, we do announcements and they do the Pledge of Allegiance. I always tell my class: ‘Stand if you feel like it, don’t stand if you feel like it, say the words if you want. You don’t have to say the words.’ So my class decided to stand but not say the words. Totally fine. Except for the fact that my room does not have a flag.”
She then noted that she took the American flag down, placed it somewhere, and couldn’t find it.
“My (student) today goes, ‘Hey, it’s kind of weird that we just stand and we say it to nothing. … In the meantime, I tell this kid, ‘We do have a flag in the class that you can pledge your allegiance to.’ And he like looks around and goes, ‘Oh, that one?'” she said as she imitated her student pointing to the Pride flag.
Allegedly, she took the Stars and Stripes down because it made her feel “uncomfortable.”
As expected, the video led to Pitzen facing backlash from the public.
In the meantime, the Newport-Mesa Unified School District has launched an investigation into Pitzen over the video, the district said in a statement. While the investigation continues, she has been placed on administrative leave.
“We assure you that we take matters like this seriously,” the district’s statement read. “Showing respect for our nation’s flag is an important value that we instill in our students and an expectation of our employees.”

One person posted on the social media that Pitzen “is an absolute disgrace to teachers” and warned the teacher to keep her own “views and political stances out of the classroom.”
“Nothing against the pride flag, but we lost 13 service men and women a few days ago for that flag (in Afghanistan)… respect it!” another person commented.
