Trembling with fear, an abandoned 1-year-old puppy was struggling to find shelter before the storm which was approaching hit. A rescuer at Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac from Serbia was on his way to the shelter’s headquarters when he noticed the sweet animal in need.
He knew he had to act quick and try to get to her before she ran away. It was very obvious that the dog was afraid of humans. It looked as though her heart was broken before, so she was careful and couldn’t trust people easily.
However, her rescuer was patient and willing to give her as much time as she needed before he approached closer. Shortly after, the dog realized this man was nothing like the cruel owners who dumped her.
The puppy found herself in her rescuer’s vehicle just before the storm hit. She felt happy because she knew she was in safe hands. And she knew right. In one moment, she was homeless, and in the next, she was placed in a foster home, receiving a nice bath and a big bowl of food.
Her foster mom named her Lucy and cleaned her body from fleas. Lucy could now enjoy the comfy home and play with the rest of the furry residents, the dog named Mini and a cute cat.
We are glad Lucy got a new lease on life and we hope she will soon find her forever home with humans who will love her unconditionally, because that’s the least this beautiful pup deserves.
