1 tablespoon every morning to naturally cleanse your blood vessels

Blood vessels are channels that carry blood throughout your body and form a closed loop, like a circuit, that begins and ends at your heart. Your heart and blood vessels work as one, creating the circulatory system. Altogether, this vast network stretches nearly 60,000 miles within your body.

Think of your circulatory system as a branching network of roads. The highways are the arteries, carrying blood away from the heart, which then narrow into arterioles. On the way back, small venules collect blood from the body and join together to form veins that return it to the heart. Linking the two are capillaries, tiny, delicate pathways where the real exchange happens: oxygen and nutrients flow into the tissues, while wastes move back into the blood.

Becoming aware of the signs of clogged vessels can help you realize how sneaky heart-related issues can be.

The symptoms of blood vessels disorders can be various. In fact, they depend on the type of issues that can affect your blood vessels.

According to My Cleveland Clinic, some of the most common and more general symptoms include changes in skin color — a bluish skin tone, coldness or numbness in your legs, feet, arms or hands, fatigue, and shortness of breath, among the rest.

Symptoms that require immediate medical attention include confusion or difficulty speaking and understanding, sudden numbness or weakness on one side of your body, sudden vision loss, difficulty walking or balance problems, dizziness or fainting, fast heartbeat, severe pain in your chest, upper back, arms or legs, sudden or worsening shortness of breath, or edema (swelling) in your arms or legs.

When blood vessels get clogged by buildup of cholesterol and fats, restricting blood flow and placing extra strain on the heart, they need a cleanse.

There are certain foods and natural remedies that can help you cleanse your blood vessels. Of course, you shouldn’t rely on them entirely, and it’s always for the best to consult your doctor if you experience any of the symptoms described above.

Below is a natural remedy designed to support healthier blood flow by addressing the root of the problem. It helps the body eliminate harmful toxins and gradually reduce fatty accumulations along the arteries, not only preventing dangerous clots but also a lighter, smoother circulation.

In order to prepare this drink, you’ll need a couple of simple and easily accessible ingredients.

One head of red onion: Red onions are rich in antioxidants that help get rid of harmful stuff from your blood vessels. They also have something called quercetin, which is good for your heart and blood vessels.

One head of garlic: Other than being a flavorful ingredient used in every kitchen in the world, garlic also acts as a natural blood thinner, helping blood vessels stay flexible while reducing plaque buildup along artery walls.

At the same time, it helps lower the blood pressure and prevent clots.

A 3cm piece of ginger: Ginger is known for promoting cardiovascular health by lowering harmful cholesterol, improving circulation, and reinforcing vessel strength.

Two lemons: Lemons are a great source of Vitamin C. Citrate, a key component of lemons, can enhance blood flow throughout the body, especially in the legs and lower extremities. Regular consumption of lemon juice has been linked to healthier blood pressure levels and reduced LDL cholesterol, supporting overall cardiovascular wellness.

Two tablespoons of turmeric: Turmeric contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant that helps fight inflammation and protects your cells from damage.

1/8 teaspoon of black pepper: Despite the small amount used in the drink, the black pepper is the key ingredient. It contains piperine that can make turmeric work up to 2000 times better.

Two tablespoons of honey: Honey is more than just a sweet and healthy treat. It protects your circulatory system by reducing stress on blood vessels, one of the key contributors to clogged arteries, and reducing “bad” cholesterol levels.

You will also need a litter of water.

How to Prepare the Drink:

Peel the whole red onion and slice it into rings, then place it in a pot. Next, peel and chop the garlic cloves into tiny pieces and add them in the pot. Then add the peeled and chopped ginger.

Next comes one lemon, also peeled and chopped. But before doing that, you may want to keep it in a mixture of water and soda to get rid of any pesticides and dirt.

Put a litter of water in the pot.

In a separate bowl, mix the turmeric and the pepper before putting it in the pot with the rest of the ingredients.

Place the pot on the stove and let the mixture simmer gently for about ten minutes. During this time, the beneficial properties of all the ingredients will blend together.

After ten minutes, remove the pot from the heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature for around 30 minutes. This helps the nutrients settle and become easier for your body to absorb.

Once cooled, strain the liquid through a sieve into a glass bottle or jar. When the bottle is about halfway full, add two tablespoons of natural honey, then close the lid and shake well to mix.

Next, cut the second lemon in half and squeeze all its juice into the bottle. This not only improves the flavor but also enhances the detoxifying effect.

Finally, seal the bottle with a lid and store it in the fridge.

How to Use It

Take one to two tablespoons of this drink every morning on an empty stomach and make sure you don’t skip a day because the consistency is the key.
