Trisha Paytas, a well-known YouTube personality, has received backlash after she revealed the name of her third child, a baby boy born on July 12, 2025.
She announced the arrival of her bundle of joy during an episode of the Just Trish podcast. The YouTube star already shared two children with husband Moses Hacmon before welcoming their newest addition to the family.
Paytas described the birth as ‘surprising and traumatic,’ requiring an emergency C-section.
“You’re okay, you’re doing great,” husband Moses Hacmon reassured her at start of the episode. “The baby is 100% okay, doing great – like, that’s first thing first.”

Around an hour into the episode, Paytas revealed her baby’s name, triggering criticism.
This, however, isn’t the first time she and her husband to be criticised about how they named their children. Their first daughter, whom they welcomed in 2022, is called Malibu Barbie, while their second one, born in 2024, was given the name Elvis.
While discussing why she chose the name Elvis for her daughter, Paytas previously explained on her podcast, “I love all names, I think they’re so cute, but I’ve always manifested Malibu and Elvis. It’s always been [one of the] names I’ve said, so that’s it.”

She noted that while Elvis is traditionally considered a masculine name, she would happily use it for a girl. The announcement sparked a wave of reactions across social media.
“This poor child’s gonna get picked on so bad for that name. I never understood why some people purposely do that to a child,” one person commented.
“What an awful name for a child. Whatever happened to just calling your child something normal?” another added.
“Please stop naming your children this stuff,” a third chimed in.

In the weeks leading up to the announcement of their third baby’s name, fans had been buzzing with speculation.
Some of the most popular guesses included ocean-inspired names like Trident and Sharkboy, as well as Moses Jr. and Percy Jackson.
Given Paytas’ history, followers anticipated something far from traditional. Staying true to that reputation, the influencer kept listeners waiting, delaying the reveal until nearly an hour into the podcast.
Throughout the episode, she built suspense by playfully eliminating potential names, including Gerard Way—a nod to My Chemical Romance—and Gerard Wave.
Eventually, the couple decided on the name Aquaman, one that Paytas said made her think, “I wish that was my name.”
“I feel like we’re being pranked,” one fan wrote. “This is downright cruel smh,” another said.
A third added: “It’s even worse than her others…”
“What a ridiculous name. This poor baby is going to get bullied,” a fourth wrote.
Yet another person commented: “Are you joking?? Literally you have to change it. There is no way.”
What do you think of the name Aquaman?
