True love is everlasting! When two people are meant to be together no matter how much time passes by, love will find the way.
The love story of Thomas and Nancy is the perfect proof of that. These two first fell in love when they were in high-school but their relationship ended and they hadn’t seen each other for over 60 years.
However, after that much time, Thomas and Nancy reunited recently and felt the same spark they had for each other when they were just teenagers.
Over the course of a couple of weeks, they were constantly in touch and felt like no time has passed since their young days.
The two decided to see each other so Nancy flew to Tampa to meet her high-school sweetheart not knowing he was waiting for her on one knee. When she spotted him at the airport, Thomas was quick to pop the question.The sweet moment of proposing to Nancy was caught on tape by one of Thomas’ colleagues and was later shared on the social media.
Needless to say, Nancy was overwhelmed and couldn’t hide her excitement.
“My dear Nancy, it has been 60 years since we first met, 56 years since we first dated, 10 years since I last saw you, and 20 days since we reconnected,” Thomas started his speech.
Tomas told the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with how she still makes his heart skip a beat. After that many years, he said he was happy that he could hold her in his arms telling her that her inner and outer beauty has always captivated him.
He promised her to be by her side through thick and thin and that he would share his dreams and aspirations with her.
