The headteacher of the school Prince George may attend sends warning

Prince George, the eldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, is second in line to the throne after his father, but despite the fact that he’s going to be king one day, his parents tend to provide normal childhood for him and his siblings.

However, they also make sure he is aware of the future that awaits him. So far, he has attended plenty of significant royal events, including his grandfather’s coronation where he had the role of a page boy.

July 22 will mark the young prince’s 12th birthday, but whether or not his mom and dad will reveal photos of the celebration is unknown. So far, they tended to keep those celebrations private and away from the public eye.

“They’ve always been intensely secretive and private about his birthday,” royal commentator Duncan Larcombe told Fox. “They’ve never released anything… in terms of a birthday party, and what they do is shrouded in secrecy.”

“We are starting to see [George] a lot more in public these days, but they’re still very keen on keeping him private property rather than public property,” he added.

“His parents have been incredibly hands-on, and they’ve followed a very similar upbringing Kate would have had with two siblings, a close-knit family. They’re focusing very much on the value of the family. They’ve built quite a unique family unit.”

When it comes to his future education, many believe that the Prince and Princess of Wales will choose Eton College for Prince George because they were looking around the school some time ago.

George will not attend the school until he turns 13, but children need to be registered when they turn 10.

Royal expert Jennie Bond commented on the possible decision for Prince George to attend Eton and said, “The choice of school for the children will tell us a lot about William and Catherine.”

She added: “So far, they’ve been such a hands-on parents and, personally, I think it would be sad to see them send their children away to boarding school. I would applaud a decision to keep them as day pupils at schools nearby their home. But I think both William and Catherine were happy at boarding school. I suppose it’s what they know, and perhaps they will want to pass this experience on to their children,” she told OK!

Bond continued: “I imagine it will be all or nothing – in other words, all three will go away to school, or none of them. I will be cheering loudly if they decide to keep their children close and nurture them through their adolescence as they have nurtured them through the young years.”

So, what would it indicate if George were to enroll at Eton? According to The Express’ royal correspondent, Richard Palmer, it would unexpectedly reveal significant insights into Kate’s choices and values.

“I find it fascinating because the Princess of Wales is spending so much of her life talking about giving children a better start in life, and part of that, she and her advisors have talked about reducing inequality,” Palmer said.

“And there you have her children at a fee-paying independent school, almost certain to go to an expensive fee-paying boarding school later on.”

If he doesn’t attend Eton, Prince George might opt for the prestigious Highgate School in London that his mother toured not long ago.

According to a source, Kate “spent quite a long time talking to two of the teachers there, including the Head of Drama, and was asking them about the drama curriculum and extracurricular activities and what opportunities there might be for appearing in school plays.”

The headteacher of Highgate, Adam Pettitt, issued a warning to parents, asking from them to make the most of screen-free “quality time” for their children. He also spoke of potential ban or limitation on pupils’ mobile phone use until they reach Year 10, or until they turn 14 or 15.

He argued that is it of great importance for students to engage in other activities rather than spending their time in front of a screen.

“Age-based limits on mobile phone use are a welcome first step, but how adults spend time with children is paramount,” Pettitt said, as per GB News. “We must not only limit screen time but actively promote what should replace it. Children need to play, to have protected screen-free time, and to enjoy fun, shared experiences with the adults who care for them.”
