Being the sister of one of the most famous names the world of fashion has ever seen, Donatella Versace, a fashion designer, a businesswoman and a socialite, has led quite a lavish lifestyle.
When her late brother Gianni Versace, the founder of the luxury fashion company Versace, was killed, Donatella inherited a portion of the iconic brand and became its creative director. At the time being, she is the brand’s chief creative officer.
Along with her brother Gianni, she is widely credited for the supermodel phenomenon of the 1990s by casting editorial models on the runway.
Gianni and Donatella were extremely close. She was his muse and someone he trusted. With Gianni’s loss, Donatella’s world crushed and she has never been the same.
Donatella, who is a mother of two, has recently been spotted hitting the beach with three male friends.
The 67-year-old designer could be seen enjoying canoeing with her companions before the group takes a dip in the crystal blue ocean.
Donatella showed off her figure as she was spotted slipping into three different bikinis that teamed a top with a plunging neckline and high-cut briefs. It was obvious she was having much fun.
For years following her loving brother’s assassination, Donatella struggled to collect herself but failed multiple times. During a celebration of her daughter’s birthday, she experience meltdown, so musician Elton John once staged an intervention for her.
However, no matter how hard it was for her to move on, she knew it was her only choice if she wanted to keep the company running and with that, keep her brother’s legacy alive.
Donatella found strength to take over the business, but she admitted she was forced to wear a ‘mask’ to hide her insecurity and fear of failure.

As all eyes are on the Royal family and the wide public eagerly awaits for a reconciliation between the Sussexes and the rest of the royalty to finally take place, it seems like just the opposite may happen. With Prince Harry releasing his memoir Spare on January 10, we can’t help but wonder if a new fraud between the members of The Firm is just around the corner.
Rumors are that Harry will include bombshell accusations in his new book and he even asked ex-girlfriends to contribute to the content of what might cause a stir many aren’t even prepared for. However, according to The Sun, he didn’t get the answer he was hoping for.
According to reports, the upcoming memoir which has been a talking point for quite some time now, will likely create new tensions as Harry is apparently planning on focusing on the rift between him and William, as well as his strained relationship with his father, the King of England.
The publishing company Penguin Random House that will release the memoir claims Harry’s all-tell book will be an “accurate and wholly truthful” account of his life.
“Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him,” Random House said in the press release, teasing the book as an “honest and captivating personal portrait.”
The name of the memoir, Spare, might address Harry’s “spare” role as the second son of a King, or that maybe he is being “spared” from the Royal Family now that he has left, Harper Bazaar speculates.
“It’s juicy, that’s for sure,” a NY publishing source shared with Page Six.
“There’s a lot of new stories in there about the past that Harry has not spoken about before, about his childhood … there is some content in there that should make his family nervous,” another publishing insider added.
Further, the magazine reported that Harry has been paid $20 million upfront by Penguin Random House.
If Harry decided to go into details about his relationship with Camilla and depict her in a way Charles won’t be happy about, the things between the father and the son could get even worse. It isn’t a secret that King Charles has always been overly protective of his wife and has gone above and beyond for the wide public to accept her as part of the family and now as their Queen Consort.
“He loves her. He is incredibly protective of her and he couldn’t do it without her. Even the Queen finally accepted that,” a source told The Daily Beast. “It is one thing for Harry to attack Charles, he can take it on the chin, but if Harry forces him to choose, by laying into Camilla in his book, I have no doubt he will choose Camilla,” the source added.
Ever since the news of Harry’s new book came to light, the members of the royal family aren’t at ease and are waiting on “tenterhooks” to read it.
“Harry has thrown a spanner in the works as he is desperate to get [the memoir] refined in the light of the Queen’s death, her funeral, and his father Charles taking the throne,” a source told The Sun.
“There may be things which might not look so good if they come out so soon after the Queen’s death and his dad becoming King.”
The source added: “He wants sections changed. It’s not a total rewrite by any means. He desperately wants to make changes. But it might be too late.”
For the sake of writing a piece that would attract people’s attention, the prince even reached to many of his former girlfriends and asked them to contribute, but sources say most of them eventually said no. It isn’t know whether Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas were among the exes Harry contacted.
Royal experts believe it is ironic that Harry asked his friends and exes to speak of their relationship with him now that he needed help when he pleaded for discretion for all those years.
“His mates, plus old flames Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas, have been souls of discretion thus far. But once they start talking, they might get a taste for it, especially when and if one of them falls on hard times. Scandal has a habit of emerging eventually into the light,” royal expert and journalist Robert Crampton wrote in The Times, claiming Harry’s move to be a “high-risk strategy.”
We can’t way to see what Harry’s memoir will bring for the royal family.

Pamela Ricard, a Kansas teacher and a devoted Christian, was suspended by the school where she works because she refused to use one of the student’s preferred pronouns. A girl from the class wanted to be called a different first name and opted for the pronouns he/him.
Pamela, on the other hand, decided to refer to the student as “Miss [legal/enrolled last name]” to avoid using the student’s new preferred first name.
As there wasn’t a policy that would address this matter, Pamela was suspended on the grounds of “generic school district policies related to bullying by staff.” However, once her suspension was over and she returned to work after three days, she noticed that the school did set a policy which stated that “employees should be aware and make an effort to utilize the pronouns an individual requests to be identified by.”
Pamela then decided to take the case to court as she believed the policy “violated her conscience.”
“Ms. Ricard is a Christian and holds sincere religious beliefs consistent with the traditional Christian and biblical understanding of the human person and biological sex,” the lawsuit stated. “Ms. Ricard believes that God created human beings as either male or female, that this sex is fixed in each person from the moment of conception, and that it cannot be changed, regardless of an individual person’s feelings, desires, or preferences.”
The court ruled in Pamela’s favor and the Geary County Schools was demanded to pay her $95,000.
The attorney stated that she was “free to speak without violating her conscience by communicating with parents in a manner consistent with how she is required to address the students at school, and was okay to continue to “avoid pronouns for students who have requested pronouns inconsistent with their biological sex.”
The policy set by the school further stated that teachers and other school employees could not disclose students’ preferred names and pronouns to their parents. The court ruled this policy to be changed but there is no additional information of whether that happened and what the policy, if there is any, includes.

A fan-favorite with the wide audience for her turn as the outspoken teen Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show, Lisa Bonet caused quite a stir when she first appeared on screen. It was almost overnight that she became a much-loved teen idol and young adults’ heartthrob. All of a sudden, all eyes were on the fresh face that was part of America’s most popular fictive family.
During her time on The Cosby Show, where she portrayed the second-oldest child in the family, young Bonet raised eyebrows when she posed for adult magazines and starred in the controversial movie Angel Heart in which she filmed a hot scene with actor Mickey Rourke.
“Filming [the sex scene in Angel Heart] consisted of three hours of intense lovemaking with blood pouring on us…It was a wild night,” Lisa told Interview Magazine in 1987.
Rumors were that Bill Cosby, who played Bonet’s on-screen father, wasn’t happy with her being part of such a film as it didn’t fit with his clean, family-oriented show.
Bonet on the other hand said she told him she was offered a role in Angel Heart and Cosby’s response was, “Get out of my office and just do the film.”
It was in 1991 that Bonet was fired from the series due to ‘creative differences.’ She then landed a role in a spin-off series which revolved around the life of her character Denise, but it was canceled when Bonet became pregnant with daughter Zoe Kravitz whom she had with singer Lenny Kravitz.
Some five years into the marriage, Bonet and Kravitz divorced but decided to remain friends for the sake of their daughter. Even today, they attend premieres together and are part of each other’s lives.
Reflecting on the fact that she had her daughter at a very young age, Bonet revealed in a 1999 interview with the Huff Post, “Having Zoë saved my life. It was my wake-up call. There were so many things I didn’t want to pass on to her, so I really made a decision to change.
“I didn’t want to pass on those heirlooms and this fresh wound of a divorce. … I think there are probably times when these thresholds can either sink you, or you can see who you are and rise and dust yourself off.”
Bonet has two other children, with Aquaman star Jason Momoa, daughter Lola Iolani Momoa and son Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa. The couple announced their separation after almost five years of marriage and 17 years of being together.
Zoe Kravitz has followed into her famous parents’ footsteps and is both a singer and an actress, as well as a model. She was married to actor Karl Glusman in 2019 but divorced him two years later.
“She’s a well-balanced young woman, and so not affected […] for a parent to have a child out in our insane world and not have to worry about her […] that’s such a great thing,” Lisa Bonet said of her older daughter.
At 54, Lisa Bonet defies age. She is still as stunning as ever.

With the passing of actor John Candy, the world lost a comedy legend.
This incredible man lit up our screens for most of his life and brought plenty of laughter at the huge number of fans who admired him for his talent and wit.
Candy rose to fame in the 1970s as a member of the Toronto branch of the Second City and its SCTV series, and through his appearances in comedy films, including Stripes, Splash, Spaceballs, and Uncle Buck, among others. One of Candy’s most renowned onscreen performances was his portrayal of Del Griffith, the talkative shower-curtain ring salesman in the John Hughes comedy film Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Sadly, he passed away at the age of 43, living behind him a legacy his family is still trying to keep alive.
Candy wasn’t only an actor, but a devoted husband and a loving father, too.
At the time of his passing, his son Christopher was 9, and his daughter Jennifer was 14 years old.
Recalling details of the day their father left this world, Jennifer said she clearly remembered that Candy wasn’t his usual self.
Back in the day, not much had been revealed about the causes which led to the massive heart attack Candy suffered in his sleep, but years later, daughter Jennifer admitted that her father tried to lose weight and that led to a struggle. He was working out and visited nutritionist, and critics didn’t make things any easy for him.
Candy and his wife Rosemary Margaret Harbor met during a blind date and stayed together until his passing. She’s also the mother of his children.
Reports are that just after their first date, Candy asked Harbor to help him with a script, although she hadn’t had any experience with it.
Following Candy’s passing, Harbor returned to her profession, a ceramics expert. Today, she’s running her own shop based in her native California.
When it comes to his children, Jennifer and Christopher, they both followed into their father’s footsteps in a way. Both their Instagram bios claim they work as actors among the rest. Christopher is best known known for Where’s This Party? (2014), Contracted (2013) and To the Stones (2020).
Speaking of her father, Jennifer told The Hollywood Reporter, “He was constantly working with some sort of charity…He liked to make people laugh and feel good. And with certain kinds of charity work, especially with kids, he could do that, and that made him feel good.”
She further added, “My dad loved bringing home animals, and my mom was such a trooper because she is allergic to dogs and cats…We had cows.”
Rest in peace, John Candy, you are dearly missed.

Of all the roles she has ever portrayed, that of a mother seems to be the most important one for Oscar-winning actress and producer Sandra Bullock.
In a recent interview with ET, Bullock revealed she would be taking a break from the entertainment industry after The Lost City, at least for now, in order to be “in the place that makes [her] happiest.”
Now, the 57-year-old actress is getting candid about her decision.
Bullock became a mother later in life. She adopted son Louis in 2010 and daughter Laila in 2015.
As she was heading to her forties, Bullock believed she would never be a mother, but after Hurricane Katrina struck, she experienced an epiphany and said that something deep inside her told her her children were in New Orleans. She traveled there and started a process of adoption. It took four years before Louis became her child, but the waiting was worth it.
“I looked at him and said, ‘Oh, there you are.’ It’s like he’d always been there. He fit in the crook of my arm, he looked me in the eyes, and he was just wise,” she said of the time she laid eyes on her son.
Laila was adopted some years later. The little girl ended up in the foster system early in life and at the age of 2 and a half, she had already changed three different homes. That experience made her scared and prevented her from trusting people. Dealing with Laila’s trauma took some time, but Bullock was willing to go above and beyond for her daughter’s well-being. Before fostering her daughter, The Proposal star took classes designed to teach her how to raise a child that had been traumatized, as Laila had been.
Speaking to ET of her decision to take some time off work, Bullock said, “I take my job very seriously when I’m at work. And I just want to be 24/7 with my babies and my family. That’s where I’m gonna be for a while.”
“I don’t want to be beholden to anyone’s schedule other than my own,” she told the mag. “I’m so burnt out. I’m so tired, and I’m so not capable of making healthy, smart decisions. And I know it.”
Explaining her desire to establish a life outside of acting, the actress told The Hollywood Reporter, “Work has always been steady for me, and I’ve been so lucky. I realized it possibly was becoming my crutch. It was like opening up a fridge all the time and looking for something that was never in the fridge.”
We are very happy for Sandra Bullock and her beautiful family, and yes, we fully support her decision.
