Two hours before the fatal crash that claimed the lives of 241 people on board, a passenger who was flying with the doomed plane revealed a chilling video of the interior of the jet.
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner had defective TV screens and ‘no air conditioning at all’ when it flew from Delhi to Ahmedabad earlier that day, before taking the tragic flight.
X user Akash Vasta claimed that he had flown on the very same aircraft just two hours before it crashed,according to The Sun.
“I was in the same damn flight 2 hours before it took off from AMD,” he posted on X. “I came in this from DEL-AMD.”

He said that what the unusual things he had noticed may have suggested the plane was defective.
People who have seen his chilling video raised concerns over the airline’s safety standards – it is, however, uncertain if any of the defects of the interior added to the reason of the crash just minutes after takeoff.
In the footage he posted, which has since gone viral, Vasta could be heard saying: “The AC is not working at all.
“And as usual, your TV screens are also not working, neither this button for calling the cabin crew.”
He added: “Nothing is working. Nothing! Not even the light is working.”
He then asked: “Is this what you are providing?”
He complained that it was extremely hot inside the plane and stated, this was why “Air India is considered one of the worst airlines in the world.”
The sole survivor of the crash, passenger Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, a British citizen seated in seat 11a, claimed that he jumped off the flaming Air India jet before it crashed.
Another footage taken seconds before the plane crashed and turned into a ball of flames showed a mysterious object flying from the aircraft.
Many speculate that it could be one of the plane’s emergency doors – possibly the one next to which Ramesh was sitting.
The tragic incident is still under inverstigation.
