My grandma gave me a plastic sheep on my birthday for years & I only discovered their secret purpose after her death

“Grandparents, like heroes, are as necessary to a child’s growth as vitamins” Joyce Allston says, and we can’t agree more.

The reasons why these people are “the best kind of grownups” are endless. They are a bit parents, a bit teachers, and a bit friends, and those who got to grow up by their side are the luckiest among us.

The truth is that whatever we say about grandparents won’t be enough to describe their importance in the life of their grandchildren.

A young woman named Clem shared an extraordinary story about her beloved grandma. Namely, when she turned six or seven, her grandma gave her a plastic sheep as a present. It was a nice toy that Clem loved.

On every birthday that followed, Clem would receive another plastic sheep from her granny, and although she couldn’t understand why the sweet old lady gave her plastic sheep each year, it turned into a nice tradition and Clem was more than happy to get yet another toy she would keep as her grandma asked her to.

Before passing away, Clem’s grandma gave her the last plastic sheep, but this time, she revealed the secret behind these unusual presents.

Hidden beneath each sheep was a code that led Clem to discover a secret bank account set up by her grandmother containing over $120,000.

In the safety deposit box, Clem found a handwritten letter from the woman that meant the world to her. Although the grandma was no longer around, Clem knew she watched over her from above, and the present was just another proof that she loved her granddaughter with all her heart.

The money could be used for Clem’s studies and to secure her future.

Whenever this young lady would achieve something great in life, she would visit her grandma’s grave to share the sweet news with her.
