Kelly Clarkson’s musical talent took our breath away from the moment she first walked on the stage of American Idol back in 2002. Once she let her voice fill the place with magic, we all knew she will remain one of the nation’s sweethearts.
Over the years, Kelly’s performances of the all time favorite holiday melodies became the synonym of Christmas. Each year, we are eagerly waiting for her to choose a song and make of it a memorable rendition that will bring the Christmas spirit in each of us.
This year, however, among the hits she chose to give a new life to is the song “Silent Night” she performs along with two other huge names in the showbiz. The result is indeed something special.
Kelly hosted a Christmas special that brought at the same place some of the most iconic artists. Many singers that practice different type of music got together and listening to every one of them is a real pleasure.
Kelly sang with Trisha Yearwood and Reba McEntire, and the way this trio sounds is out of this world. A perfect blend of three exquisite voices that leave us dumbfounded and eager for more.
The organizers of the show did the right thing giving Kelly the role of a host. Her charm lit the stage up and reminded us once again what she is our favorite.
Stars like the late great Robin Williams, Blake Shelton, Whoopi Goldberg, Jay Leno, Danica Patrick, Heidi Klum, Ken Jeong and Jai Rodriguez also joined “Kelly Clarkson’s Cautionary Christmas Music Tale.” They all added a personal flair to an evening of Christmas fun.
Although it’s a privilege to be performing alongside any of these amazing artists, Reba told The Boot how Kelly and Trisha are her favorite.
“They entertain me. I sit back with my jaw dropped and just listen to them sing and perform. I’m just in awe of them.”
This NBC’s show was seen by millions of people who were treated with the ultimate singing and a night to remember.
The combination of voices of three such beautiful ladies really lifts the Christmas spirit.
