Jennifer Garner actions towards wheelchair-bound homeless man

Jennifer Garner was spotted talking to a wheelchair-bounded homeless man at California’s Santa Monica Pier.

Before getting out of her car, she first handed the man a snack pack through the window of her vehicle. They chatted for a couple more seconds before she approached him and started putting socks on his feet.

She then took off one of her shoes and tried to put it on the man’s foot. However, she realized it was too small.

The Elektra star didn’t stop there. She spotted a paparazzi filming her ran over to him, asking about his shoe size and offering to buy them from him so she could give them to the wheelchair-bounded man.

The photographer, who works for the X17 Agency, offered his shoes for free and even gave some spare change to the actress to give to the homeless man. He even helped her change his clothes.

While many dubbed Garner’s act of generosity the sweetest thing ever, there were those who accused her of staging the entire thing for the sake of boosting her reputation.

“They just magically had a photographer there and they were also the same shoe size?” a person commented on X where photos of Garner and the homeless man were shared.

“Looks like a PR stunt with the high quality pictures,” another person added.

“I’m sorry but my first reaction was.. ‘OH that’s pretty cool.. Now do it again without the cameras rolling,'” a third shared.

Those who believed the photos of Garner and the homeless man were genuine took her side, claiming that as a celebrity, it’s expected she’ll be photographed by the paparazzi.

“I mean do you expect her not to be photographed?” one asked in response to the criticism. “It’s Jennifer [Garner], she’ll be photographed regardless if she wants it or not (sadly). How could she do something like this without being photographed?”

Another person added: “I will say I’ve seen her in public twice and both times she was doing kind acts with no cameras around.”

This act of kindness only illustrates Garner’s compassionate spirit.
