The sight of Harry and William walking side by side behind the coffin of someone who meant so much to them, their loving grandmother and Queen of England, Queen Eliabeth II, reminded the world of the heartbreak the brothers were forced to endure after the loss of their mother, Princess Diana.

Now, after the passing of their grandmother, the brothers have been reunited once again and Britons, as well people from every corner of the Earth, hope this time it would be forever.

The relationship between Harry and the rest of the family sort of broke down after he and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties and left Britan for America. They settled down in California as they decided to build a new life away from The Firm.

Things got even more heated between the brothers after the infamous all-tell interview Harry and Meghan gave Oprah Winfrey. Among the rest, they spoke of Meghan’s mental struggles and how she was denied help because that would affect the family’s reputation, and they sort of accused the royals of racism after sharing that a senior royal questioned the skin color of then unborn Archie.

The Queen herself responded to those allegations writing in a statement that “the whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.”

The statement shared by the Palace on the Queen’s behalf further read, “The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately. Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”

After the passing of Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, everyone was eager to witness the relationship between Harry and his family being repaired, but sadly, that didn’t happen.

In the past, following the accusations and Harry’s interview in a podcast in which he spoke of the impact media and the paparazzi had on his mother’s dead, King Charles accused his son for ‘dragging the family name through the mud.’

Despite all that, people were somehow convinced that Harry would return to Britain, probably for good, after his grandmother’s passing and be there for his brother and father as a new era for the royal family has just started.

Reports are that he offered olive branch to his father, the new King of the country. Over the past few years, Harry and his father were reported to not have talked much, with some insinuating that they haven’t spoken at all.

In a statement on the Archewell Foundation website, established by Harry and Meghan, Harry pledged to honor his father.

The statement read, “And as it comes to first meetings, we now honor my father in his new role as King Charles III.”

Harry and Meghan are currently in Britain, and they are expected to stay at least until September 19, the day of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral when she will be laid to rest besides her mother and father.

Apparently, Harry wasn’t invited to dinner with William and Charles on the night his grandmother died. A source close to the family claimed that two dinners were held on the royal estate. One was for King Charles and Prince William, while the other was for the rest of the family, including Harry.

But now, it was reported that William and Kate extended an invitation to Harry and Meghan to greet well-wishers and take in floral tributes laid outside Buckingham Palace in the Queen’s memory.

William is believed to have wanted to negate any tension and show a united front alongside his younger brother.

We truly hope the brothers would be able to mend things down and Harry returned to Britain to be by his father’s side and support his rule.
